Casey/Caylee Anthony Case: Prosecutors Release Anthony Family Depositions
Orlando, FL– In the latest bombshell in the case against Casey Anthony, late this afternoon prosecutors released the depositions of Anthony family members George, Cindy and Lee.
In a highly unusual move, on the eve of what is arguably one of the most anticipated motion hearings to date, we will get a glimpse of exactly what the Anthony’s will be testifying to in the murder trial.

Prosecutors were previously granted a motion to receive the grand jury testimony of George Anthony, as there were discrepencies between the testimony he gave in that proceeding, and his deposition.
Additionally, this Saturday October 17, CBS show 48 Hours Mystery is airing what appears to be the Anthony’s defending their daughter, and her defense team touting the latest “stranger danger” theory.

Another note. At one point Lee is asked to explain why he had a distrust of Amy and he begins to reply with something about the CHECKS, then he rambles and goes off in another direction (after catching himself), having a very difficult time pinpointing anything. Later, he goes on to explain that D Casey told him about Amy & Ricardo doing heroine.

Huh, strange that his roommate Brian L. has a green pick-up like Brian B. saw.
Hard to believe, according to Lee in his deposition, the 2 former roommates are still friends.
However, I originally thought either the roommate drove her to Hopespring, or she got into Lee’s house and “borrowed” the the vehicle if the 2 guys were out of town working. Interesting that you are thinking about June 23 and Lee. I thought he was out of town working for a straight period of time, but he says in his deposition that he was in and out at various times. Hmmm, Blink. Brian L’s interview is extremely key, isn’t it.

If Lyon dressed Casey in that outfit, they’re either 1) going for an insanity defense or 2) going with the “she didn’t have adequate counsel” angle. Perhaps the latter is why she is keeping Baez on, too, lol.

I think so, because they do ask him if he saw it on there before he erased everything. He says he’s never seen it, after asking if it was cropped.
To boot: it’s ironic that they had concerns about the media posting pictures from Casey’s photo bucket (explaining that that is why they were taken down or erased), when in the end, they sold images to the media.

Here is a link to a pic of Caylee during the day in her Eddie Bauer Car Seat. I believe Casey had a Edie Bauer Car set. Cayless hair is pulled back off her face. Looks much older. But you see her Straps from the car seat and you can clearly read the Eddie Bauer name.

I don’t believe the pic with the T shirt/Letters was taken in the interior of the car. I would think at least one strap (as they are not thin plus they have that pad on them) on the right shoulder from a car seat would be visible. And I don’t think she would have a blanket behind /underneath her if she was in a car seat.
Onaseriousnote, when I was looking at this pic the other day, I thought I saw Caylee possibly flanked by two people (one on each side–but definitely one on the right) but for the life of me today I couldn’t see either. Weird.
But if casey took the pic, wouldn’t we see a camera and a flash if there were a mirror involved?
Serious Note- I see it. I am afraid it very well might be Jesus-in-a-piece-of-toast…but I do see.

#489_ She may not be lying down, but she is leaning backward and that’s why her face looks fuller. if you pull her head into your neck, it’s possible to get the double chin effect, if there is enough meat around your face.

492…I see that too. But is it a face or a hair barrett? I saw it just last time I went to look at photo. I think I see part of her other arm, but then I saw that other thing which I initially thought was a hair barrett, but looks scarily like a face…Quite possibly in the rearview mirror..WEIRD

Do reading these depos, particularly the craziness of rationales, make anyone else loopy and unable to think or communicate afterward?
Well I’m one of those who is just not seeing anything other than a closely cropped picture of Caylee with the shirt that we all know so well.
I’ve photoshopped it with every different option – and I too believe people see the Virgin Mary in a nacho or Jesus in a water stain because their minds play tricks when they are looking for something. I’m not saying that you guys are wasting your time because I too wonder where/when this picture was taken – and why it was so closely cropped. I’m just not seeing the other stuff.

Blink: Curious as to why interviews have not been released from Chatt and Hawkins. Got any ideas why these two have been withheld from doc dumps? Invaluable to the SA? I am thinking Casey might have stolen things (a phone? keys?) from J.P. and she evidently had a relationship with M.H. as did her brother, Lee, with Mark’s ex-wife.

As far as the lighting and my eyes seeing a distant parked vehicle, maybe a low-light source is reflecting off the right headlight and rooftop line of a ? I’m still working on trying to see what you see. Did you show the photo to your husband? I do think this image was taken in a darkened setting, perhaps in the enclosure like a car, or garage, maybe, or outdoors somewhere.

I strongly believe Caylee’s hair is pulled up into a pony tail. I’m looking at the curved part line above her bangs, with the hair sweeping upwards, and loose tendrils at the right side – - similar as her hair is in the nursing home video. Thoughts?

I see where you are referring to that “flesh” coloured upper left corner that could be part of a face where the jaw goes to the chin. In your opinion, who might it be, and who then would Caylee be directly looking at behind the “lens”?
Holly Gagne, who defended Casey on 48 Hours, has a little girl. Could she be the mom of the mystery child whom Cindy “sits’? Anyone know her age?
hk, I agree with you re: gravity and the shirt and hair (though surely someone is going to argue static cling). No way to be sure if that is a person cropped from the left or her own chubby little arm. I still see a young caylee in the pink pic, though, yes, double chins do have a mind of their own. Could be the angle, but even her forehead looks so much smaller in the pink pic than in the Father’s day pic.
I think Caylee is in the brown Eddie Bauer carseat that was in Cindy’s vehicle.

507 I believe that other flesh colored thing in upper left corner is Caylees other arm…which would mean she has it above her head. Perhaps holding something up, dont know???? She seems to be leaning to her left and her right arm may be above her head.
I see the Mars face in her barrette (but I actually HAVE been drinking, so don’t go by me, lol). Being an Occam’s razor kind of a grrrl, I’m thinking it’s a regular old pic of a younger-than-the-deceased Caylee, and Casey cropped out a person or persons she no longer likes, or cuz she thought it was a cute pic of Caylee (which it is) and she wanted her to be the focus. But your guesses are as good as mine.
wpgmouse, if taken in a garage or trunk or whatever, where are you seeing the flash? I see the eye on our right looks like it is catching more light than the one on the left, and she seems to have a glare between her eyes and upward, and on her chinny chin chin. (note to self: put the down the scotch and soda).
Looking forward to the results of the swabs from the gas cans, hee hee hee. Should be interesting to say the least.

I wondered why they did not ask Cindy about the clothes Caylee was found in. She would know. Were these “spare” clothes that were kept in the car or backpack..were these clothese Caylee was wearing in June…when was the last time Caylee wore these?
Hopefully the prosecutors already know. I think they do.

lily, you can only do with what there is to start with on that photo. Clearly there are other techniques, other photos perhaps with ALS, and then there’s also the reverse of the carpeting, there’s any underlay mat also that might contribute to the general picture of any tidelining or areas of prominent fungal growth (as seen with pigmentation they create).
Doesn’t seem that the state copies for public release are the best reproductions of the photos. I don’t see the relation to cheeze toast Jesus idea. It will be up to interpretation of the patterning, but whatever, the cause is not some mystery. It’s mould/mold and moisture buildup from heat and condensation, and in the perfect dark environment, that give the perfect conditions for growth.
Even if there is no recognizable body shape to the production of mould pigments/stains, there is a clear scientific and not too complex reason for moisture and the resulting stain even without any ‘leakage’.
I think also, you would need both a colour image and a black and white for this mould staining. Mould fluoresces under black lights. Some of the carpetting materials could fluoresce too, and some of the cleaners used in the trunk, say fabric or upholstery cleaners, could have optical brighteners in them. But this would be clear I’d guess, and quite different from the clear lines of mould growth in the most moist areas. JMHO
What kind of pitiful crook is Casey if she didn’t know where Geo kept his keys to the shed? He says in his latest depo that he kept ‘em in one of two places, or maybe both places. SURELY she went through his nightstand routinely. Why did she have to break the lock? Odd.
On a related note, if anyone wants to break into the shed now, we totally know where he NOW keeps the key, lol.

but when it was small again…the face jumped out.
Please make sure LE gets this…they have the most sophisticated ( I hope) photo equipment. If they have not noticed this…they need to see it. Just in case….

The defense has been trying a different look on CA every time she is court. I don’t know if this is the doing of a jury selection expert, or an image consultant or what. IMO they are trying to find a look that will garner sympathy from the jury and paint a drastic contrast to those “party-girl pics” with a vulnerable, more conservative looking, loving mother, sister and daughter who has been “railroaded by the big, bad State”.
The colour-matching, IMO is attempting to give a supportive family feel, especially with “Mother Lyons” basically hovering so close next to CA with her arm on the back of CA’s chair like a comforting, protective hug. Correct me, but did Lyons also darken her hair colour to better the “Mother and Daughter” look?
Is this also attempting to somehow deflect away from “Mother Cindy”? That ought to make Cindy real happy. Loved the tele-exchange between the 2 at the end of C’s deposition. Cindy refused to let Lyons give the impression she might not have understood the “immunity” legal explanation given to her by the State or her own lawyer.
This latest image attempt really tuned me off. I hope they use it.
One comment on the vacation– surely these two people have been through a lot in the past year or so, and yes, they need a break away (although they have been away in NYC a few times, LA a couple times, that was ‘business’) so I don’t begrudge them a 3 day Bahamas cruise.
Having said that, their need would stem from the stress of what their daughter has done, the loss of their baby (it was the family’s baby as Cindy said), and their own activities of trying to control everything.
But what did Cindy say to media when she got off the boat– “THANKS FOR RUINING MY HOLIDAY”. And the excuse for the holiday was said to be ‘TO GET AWAY FROM THE MEDIA’. Really???? The media has not been giving them a bad time– three days– have they had the media camped at their doorstep in recent months every day?? No– it’s about a need for a break from all else, much worse, than ‘media’, who paid for their trip. Blaming it on ‘the media’ is just sick and out of touch– they need a scapegoat for what has happened to them, and when the media isn’t under their total ‘control and awe’ and need to get a grip.
Media ruined their holiday– sure– sure. They could have handled the media very nicely, and to their advantage (by speaking truthfully, if briefly) but they instead blamed the media for ruining their holiday.
Geeze, when will these people face facts or ever be truthful to themselves or others. That’s what bothers me about this– not begrudging a need for a break away.

They went on a cruise to get away from people. But, but, hey wait, isn’t a cruise like having a “captured audience”.

I think that there is some flash in the photo. if the face shows some ‘flattening’, generally flash was used. I believe I see some of that. With complete natural light, the face takes on natural form and is more shadowed. I believe I see some flash particularly on the forehead. I think there are shadows to the side behind Caylee.
I also think that someone else was cut out of the photo. It may have nothing to do with being taken in around the car, but rather simply the fact that it shows Caylee in the shirt found with her remains, and was also (possibly) deleted from the photo bucket. Maybe Casey or the family thought that eliminating the photo would destroy evidence of a connection to Caylee, etc.

Just move on past if I am being boring about the picture. What I am seeing is a photo shot with Caylee in the trunk closer to its left side. The white angle on the left seems the right line for the edge of the car and the size of the black area, the trunk liner seems right too. I don’t see a rearview mirror, I think I am looking from the front and just a little above. The light in her eyes could be flash from a good camera. Caylee being brighter than the background would be right too. The inside of a trunk is darker and Caylee would be what is in focus and brighter because of a flash. It just seems like the angles and proportions are right. I sure would like to see the rest of that photo. In George’s depo, they talked again about photos that are still suppressed–if that is the right word.
(I am probably one of those people who would like to see the Virgin Mary most anywhere she chose to be.)

I’m about 5 days late due to real life and haven’t waded threw all the depo’s yet but today’s talk of the picture got me curious. I too downloaded, blew up, changed contrast/brightness etc and I agree it was taken with a flash as you can see the reflection (white spot) in Caylee’s eyes. I also see what appears to be a reflection of a car possibly through the opening between the trunk lid and trunk. I cropped out this image and posted it above what I see as headlights in the original photo.

I am not ever leaving this site for an entire weekend, again! Not ever!
