BREAKING NEWS

Orlando, Fl– In the recent depositions by the State Attorneys Office in the case against Casey Anthony one common exhibit was noted in each deposition of George, Lee and Cindy Anthony.

A cropped version of a photo of Caylee wearing the tshirt that is believed recovered with her remains.

CoverofGlobe

All 3 Anthony’s claimed to not have seen this picture before previously, although without being prompted, Lee noted the photo was cropped.

How then, did it get in the hands of The Globe? Could this be the evidence removed from the Anthony home that Jose Baez tells Cindy Anthony to “Zip It” during her testimony and objects to information he considered sealed by the judge?

This edition of the Globe was released October 8, 2008. Six days before Casey Anthony was indicted for murder and remanded to jail without bond.

THE SALE OF THIS PHOTO PRE-DATES THE RECOVERY OF CAYLEE MARIE ANTHONY FROM THE WOODS OFF SUBURBAN DRIVE.

One could make the leap that the person selling it would have had knowledge of what she was wearing when 34 month old Caylee Marie met her tragic end.

(EDITORS NOTE: Don’t even try the picture was sold at the yardsale with the clothes and laundry bag– PUHLEASE..)

Blinkoncrime.com poster “Justice 23” contributed to this report.

Blink, I need to propose an inquiry. Be it that Baez has already lost his motion to dismiss the case, for one, is he permitted to promote the same motion for dismissal more than once? Also, what, if any, ramifications will that present if he was to do that in the near future?

yes, he can actually do that at anytime and even move for it at trial technically.

    Just my two cents-

I always thought that was just another one of Casey’s crazy stories, who knows what she was trying to do with that one…maybe she used this to milk some money from Cindy, telling her a sob story that the daddy was trying to take Caylee away.

Besides, what kind of papers would they file? I didn’t think Caylee’s BC listed a father…and in order to ‘file’ anything paternity would have to be established (via court ordered/or approved DNA tests) and I don’t think that’s been done or we would know about it.

For the sake of arguments let’s say they did establish paternity (but didn’t list him on BC?)…he couldn’t just relinquish his rights like that, he could choose not to see Caylee or Casey but I still think he’d be financially responsible once paternity was established.

I thought the only way you can relinquish your rights is if the children are taken and you’re forced to or one parent wants new husband or wife to adopt child and the other parent can then relinquish their rights to the child.

Maybe some sort of will? I could be wrong but you can’t will your children to anyone (children are not considered property)..you can make your WISHES known but ultimately it’s up to the courts to decide…and they (usually) do what is in the ‘best interest’ of the child, which may or may not be with the g-parents.

Brad Conway suggests that they are looking for Zanny in Puerto Rico. Lee Anthony thinks Zanny might be Jesse Grund because he was strong enough to hold Casey down at Blanchard Park. Cindy Anthony is throwing Reverend Grund and Mrs. Grund under the bus. Amy, Ricardo and Tony have been suggested as accomplices or perpetrators. None realize that Miss Caylee has an army reading every document, watching every hearing and watching every video. We are all obsessed. If anyone thinks that the public will rest before there is justice for Caylee, they are delusional. Rather than defame all these innocent people, isn’t it time for Casey to plead? Please don’t bother with any BS. I’ve heard too much. It’s time.

  6. wpgmouse says:

    Altered Cover Photo

There are at least 2 reasons “on the side of good”, that a cover photo may be altered.

One is a copyright/permission to reproduce. For example, let’s say Casey owns that photo, which is a photo of a social nature, as opposed to say a “work of art”. As the owner, she can sell it to or give permission for a publication to reproduce it. However, if there are OTHER INDIVIDUALS in that photo, the publication cannot reproduce it “as is” without the written and signed permission of those other individuals that can be identified in the photo. If permission is not granted or even sought that an individual’s face or identity may be reproduced, that individual may be cropped out or their identity “obscured” in some way.

The other reason is one of aesthetics. “Enhancements” are done more often than not to cover images. If text is to be imprinted on top and clearly read, the cover photo requires large areas of either dark or light so the colour of the text can be kept singular. Therefore, excess details or “noise” are distorted or removed, in this case darkened, blurred or swirled, etc., so the text will “pop”. The subject matter according to the headline is Mom and Caylee. The publication will also alter an image so that the subjects “pop” instantly and simultaneously with the text, and the viewer’s comprehension will not be distracted by all the other details in the photo. Also, if there is “something in the details”, those details can be furthered within the inside pages of the publication.

There are other reasons such as marketing and profit factors, but I just wanted to offer a couple of non-nefarious reasons why a cover photo has been “touched up”.

  7. peggy says:

Is it possible that RG sold the photo to the globe? I saw where someone posted Casey took the pic but I don’t see how unless she’s a contortionist. IMO, Casey didn’t take this particular pic…so she’s not the ‘owner’.

I agree, it’s possible that someone from the Anthony camp sold that pic…but it’s also possible that someone outside that group sold the pic to the globe.

  8. Thinker says:

QUESTION for shyloh, or anyone here:
Has law enforcement or prosecutors been informed that Shyloh (and Jean/Jaden’s Granny) got the cropped photo from the Anthony’s “cayleeismissing” site? (after the Anthonys have denied recognizing the photo, in their recent depositions?) Does anyone have a screen shot from the cropped photo when it was on the Anthony’s site, before it was removed?

I also agree that IF anyone other than Casey/her agents had sold that photo to GLOBE, the Defense would be screaming from the mountaintops and suing someone, and I agree with Blink’s good point that the GLOBE would not have bought that photo from anyone who did not have confirmed rights to the photo to begin with.

Begs the question …. WHY are the Anthonys lying about recognizing the photo, if they had it on their website? They are trying to hide knowledge of something. Maybe “someone” has recently informed them that they must keep quiet about the full photo which was sold to the GLOBE?

  9. michigan fan says:

I have been thinking about the clothes, and something is kind of strange to me and I can’t figure out why?? This “TROUBLE” shirt and those striped shorts don’t even match. Pretty much every picture of Caylee, she is done up with the matching hair clips or pony tail holders to match her outfits, which the outfits are always very cute and she matches. This shirt and shorts don’t even look as though they would match together and that just strikes me as odd??? I have a feeling that this shirt and shorts were in the laundry bag, seeing as how they are both light colors, and Caylee was just in her pull up and nothing else. So that would fit with Casey taking Caylee out of the house the 15th of June after the big fight.

Another point about her clothes always matching is in Cindy’s dep, she goes on about how she packs the bag with coordinating shirts to the skirt or shorts that Caylee is wearing or brings shorts to match the shirt, because she might not have to change both pces of clothing.
This to me, seems like a clue that supports her taking her out in a hurry and the baby not being dressed.

So my theory is that these clothes were in the laundry bag that she used to put the baby in, or these clothes were put there to set someone up. Regardless, they do not match and that does not fit this picture of this family, because she seemed to be dressed very well??
    Anyone agree??

    Lily -

I completely agree that the way the Anthony clan has handled this mess is another whole ballgame.

I don’t think any of them would know the truth if it hit them in the face. Or maybe they would – but in order to try and save their daughter – and their pride – lying has become a necessity in their eyes.

There are MANY things that don’t add up. And, there isn’t ONE shred of evidence that points to anyone else besides Casey. No matter HOW much this family wants to try to point the finger elsewhere – i fully believe that none of their efforts will pan out.

If, for some unbelievable reason, Casey manages to get off – it will be an injustice so great – that I – and a great many others, I’m sure, will spend a great deal of time in mourning.

I don’t mean to discount anyone’s theories. We have some brilliant minds here. And – many people who have invested a TON of time doing research into the many facets of this case.

But, every once in a while – I take a step back – and begin to wonder if much of what we speculate isn’t giving much too much credit to Casey.

I think she murdered her daughter – and she and her family are doing everything they can to cover it up.

I’m not convinced George and Cindy knew, for sure, prior to the 15th. I think they suspected something was wrong – but I don’t think they knew for sure. Cindy’s last 911 call, to me, sounded authentic.

And, George certainly wasn’t trying to cover up in the beginning. He went to the FBI and told things that surely didn’t do his daughter any favors.

But, shortly thereafter..the cover up began. And, they’ve continued to weave a story of deception. One that is so grossly over the top that hardly a soul on earth could believe what they are putting out there.

But – I truly don’t believe Casey was “put together” enough to try and implicate someone after the murder. I think she just wanted to get rid of the body – and get out of town. But, unfortunately for her…her plan to escape was not to be.

And, we can thank her mom for that. :)

And, now, we just wait for Lady Justice to come a callin’.

And, I pray, every single day, that in the end….Precious Caylee Marie will, indeed, have justice served in her name.

  11. cmaissol says:

I wonder if Casey chose the shirt “Big Trouble Comes in Small Packages” as a reference to herself?

One other reason to think she was setting up Ricardo is his chloroform joke on MySpace.Seems rather coincidental, along with pictures of his apartment presented as Zanny’s.

Doesn’t George have a sister nicknamed “Sanny”? Maybe shewas trying to groom Caylee to respond to questions about Zanny, using information about Sanny. The names sound similar enough to enable Caylee to answer questions about Zanny, thinking the Anthonys are referring to her aunt. Or is that giving Casey too much credit in terms of planning?

Regarding the fight on the 15th, I wonder if Casey threatened to kill Caylee before Cindy could get custody? I can see how that would provoke Cindy to grab her throat.

I don’t understand why Casey counted on her car to be stolen from AMSCOT if the car was out of gas. No one will steal a car that stinks like that, not even for parts. After all these months of distorting the facts, the As have yet to come up with a plausible theory on how Caylee’s body was taken in and out of the trunk without a witness and a key to the trunk.Of course, most of what they say is without a rationale that makes any sense.

I hate to say this but there are a lot of dysfunctional families out there who enable their children in criminal activity. My hospital has a teen Sex Offender program. You would be amazed at how many of these boys started raping othe rchildren at age twelve. One family defendstheir son’s repeated rapes of his 9 year old sister. They will visit him and leave the child in the lobby alone for hours, despite being told not to bring her. His mother has actually told him the sister misses their “alone time”. Another twelve year old has 4 counts of sodomy against him. We caution our children to fear adults, but how many of us caution them against other children? If people don’t want to believe that a mother like Casey would murder her child, they certainly aren’t going to accept the idea of child rapists!

Cute story about your kids, and your daughter with the doll, in particular (with the stroller and doll). But more so with your own sentimentality on the event. If all people cherished little moments like that, alone, would we even be discussing a case like this?

I dont know the answer West- I have come to the sad realization, that is not a practical notion.
But in theory, I guess if they did, it would happen less.

There are many parents vigilent about their babies as well. I struggle for an answer that addresses all.

If she had no comment whatsoever to any media members & just blew them off, they’d probably ignore her eventually. But right from the very first day of this sordid, bone-chilling saga, Cindy came out swinging. I don’t think it’s possible for her to keep quiet, for any reason. She’s far too bossy.

I only found two copyrighted items for Caylee Anthony, no pictures though, one was the song from her memorial service and the second one is a poem.

RG on the other hand has several, one is a screenplay (the coalition), art (preacher man)x2 and SRT (supernatural response team)….the movie!

Blink-I do not believe there would be any type of copyright issue with the police displaying the full version of the pic in question.

  19. Steadychick says:

I honestly think there is zero chance that Cindy would have tried to do anything legally to gain custody or adopt Caylee. The reason is because if Florida is like other states I have lived in, there would have been a state investigation of the home and fitness of the grandparents to parent the child. As part of this, they would have wanted to identify the father, so would want possible names to contact. At the very least, there would need to be publication in a newspaper for a certain period of time, giving notice to any father out there who might feel he had rights. If they found that Casey was unfit, they would never just take Casey’s word that the father was deceased. I could be wrong, but I think this is basically what would have happened.

I agree with you that RM did not sell the cover photo, that CA most likely did, and that the choice of photo was no coincidence but deliberate.

Working backwards from the print date of The G, to when this chosen photo would have “made its way” to The G, to when the choice to use this one particular photo was made, I wonder if it was too soon at that point for the latest defense strategy to have been born. Jose B. would have had to have some pretty tight control over the A’s very early on.

  23. NancyS says:

I think Florida laws are like most in the matter of custody of a child? I think that if the father found out that he was the father of Caylee by DNA test as Jesse had taken, they could fight for visitation and Casey could not make that choice on her own no matter what kind of paper was notorized if there even is one that is a LEGAL document. Maybe Cindy told Casey it was a legal document but I just don’t think it is for real without the father releasing parental rights, even Cindy is not above the law.

Not sure if you are referring to me, but I did post that (somewhere) only as question to the possibility, not as a definitive. I merely suggested she could have taken it herself only as an option or an addition to the list of “who might have taken it”.

Respectfully, one does not have to be a contortionist to take a photo of one’s self. One can use a tripod with self-timer or a hand-held shutter cable, a cell phone (like a million teens and tweens do every day), or even take the image seen in a mirror (then flop the finished photo or digital image it so it reads correctly).

If I recall, a tripod was collected by LE from the Suburban scene. I have no idea if it is connected to this case or not.

No pings near the Anthony house on June 14, but there are many gaps in phone activity throughout the day during which she could have made a run to the house. That’s what I’ve been trying to say about the limits of Casey’s phone records.

For instance, from 8:23am until 12 noon, she didn’t use her phone. The 8:23am ping hit Tony tower #1 and the 12:00pm ping hit Tony tower #2, which is located at 4490 N Goldenrod Rd. When she drives from the Anthony house to Tony’s apartment, she drives north on Chickasaw to northwest on Curry Ford to north on Goldenrod, so she could have been on her way back to Tony’s from the Anthony house at noon, but there are no pings during that gap of three hours and thirty-seven minutes to confirm where she was.

There are other gaps of an hour or slightly more throughout the day, and since it takes her 20 minutes to drive from Tony’s to the Anthony house, she could also have made a quick trip home during one of those gaps.

Chris Stutz was wrong in thinking he saw Casey jogging on Chickasaw on Tuesday, 6/15/08 at approximately 9-9:30. Her text messages show it was on Monday, 6/14/08 at 7:38am that he sent her an email asking if she had been running that morning. At 8:11a Casey sent a text to Chris saying no, it wasn’t her (her cell records show she was at Tony’s for his SMS and her response.

Not only do her pings put her at Tony’s apartment on the morning of June 14, but Cindy would have been driving to work between 7:00-7:45am (a route that includes Chickasaw), and there is no way Casey would be running in a place and at a time when Cindy might spot her.

    2. Comment by Maura — August 4, 2009 @ 2:53 pm
RE: July 3, 2008 – The night of July 3

Casey had apparently invited several people to the Dragon Room that night, one of them, Jonathan Lorentz, via Facebook. Another person who mentioned Casey’s Dragon Room invitation was Maria Kissh, but she didn’t say how Casey had contacted her. Casey sent a text message to Troy Brown at 7:45pm on July 3 saying, “You and Melissa are coming to the dragon room.”

It was by looking at Casey’s Facebook and MySpace pages that Lee learned where Casey was going to be that night.

As Michelle Murphy old Detective Yuri Melich on January 19:

Michelle: Um, Lee had done some sleuthing on Facebook because she had been laying pretty low.

Melich: Why, why was he doing that?

Michelle: Because nobody had, nobody had talked to Caylee. And no, well first of all nobody had seen Casey in quite a while. And nobody had talked to Caylee in weeks and so Cindy was starting to freak out and Lee kinda got. I guess, the brunt of that and, and decided to kind of take matters into his own hands. And so he was gonna try and confront, um, Casey and just try and find her . . . Lee was sleuthing and found out she was gonna be at the Dragon Room and so he had asked, YM, he had gotten like one of his friends to go, had asked Brian if he wanted to go. Brian called me and asked me if I wanted to go and I was gonna go but then I just decided I didn’t wanna go downtown. And then, I guess, Mallory went and they were all gonno go and get Casey and just get, take, get her, take her, you know. And she had apparently caught wind that Lee was coming and she, she just, she bolted, you know. And then via some text messages from, between Mallory and Casey, um, you know, she was like, “I don’t wanna see anybody and I don’t wanna see my brother.” And, you know, “I had to go,” and, you know, and Mallory was just like, “Look, you know we love you and we just wanna see Caylee, we just wanna make sure she’s okay.” And she’s like, “She’s fine,” you know.

“Getting Casey” is the phrasing that Troy Brown used in his OCSO interview of July 25: “Uhm, we, I don’t, I, I didn’t know what the content of the calls were. But she was visibly upset and said that her brother was coming to get her and she just wanted to get out of here. And then we uhm, we left after that.”

However, hauling Casey out of public buildings when Cindy is furious is apparently an Anthony family tradition.

Earlier in the interview, Michelle told Yuri Melich that when Casey believed she was pregnant (or said she was pregnant) with Brandon Snow’s child in the spring of 2007, Casey didn’t dare tell Cindy, but Casey did confide in Lee. When Lee broke the news to Cindy . . . .

Michelle: . . . Cindy was pissed, like way pissed, way pissed, like furious pissed.

    (snipped}

Melich: . . . when Cindy found out did she like go grab her out of a restaurant or something?

Michelle: Supposedly I heard that she took her out of a, a TGI Friday’s.

    Melich: But you weren’t there?

    Michelle: No, I was not there . . .

Melich: You just heard about it

Michelle: . . . that, that time, no.

Melich: Who’d you hear it from, Lee?

    Michelle: Uh, Lee.

This is a fairly violent family, and I believe Lee was staging the same type of intervention on July 3 that Cindy had staged when she heard Casey was pregnant again. I don’t personally see anything in what Michelle or Troy said to indicate that the Anthonys knew Casey had lost the Pontiac. Lee was apparently trying to find Caylee so that he could see her, and if Casey wouldn’t cooperate, he was going to haul her home from the Dragon Room so that Cindy and the rest of the family could force her to produce Caylee. I don’t see how the Pontiac figures into the situation at all. If she got to the Dragon Room in someone else’s car, then she could figure out a way later to get back to wherever she was staying. If she had the Pontiac at the Dragon Room, she could get a ride back there to retrieve it after the Anthony intervention.

    On July 3,

Cindy was on her fourth day of vacation and still had not been allowed to see Caylee. Cindy called Casey’s cell phone six times between 8:16am and 11:51am (all calls less than a minute).

Cindy called B Coop at 11:52am (about 15 seconds). I have no idea who B Coop is, but the name and number are on Casey’s cell phone contact list.

Cindy called Casey again at 12:11pm (1.17 minutes)

Casey’s cell records show Cindy tried to call her at 12:32pm (0 seconds)

At 2:09pm, Cindy’s transponder hit the Conway toll on 528 westbound (heading for Universal Studios).

Casey’s cell records show she “missed” a call from George at 2:39pm

Casey’s cell pings show Cindy sent a text to her at 2:50pm (Casey answered at 2:57pm) and Cindy sent another at 3:00pm, which Casey responded to within a minute. This is when Cindy said she arrived at Universal and called Casey from the parking lot, saying she wanted to see Caylee. This was when Casey told Cindy that she and Caylee had been in Jacksonville since the beginning of the week with Jeff.

When Casey received Cindy’s text at 2:50pm, she was 6.6 miles west of the Anthony house driving Tony’s Jeep. As soon as Casey knew Cindy wasn’t home, Casey made a beeline for the Anthony house. At 3:20pm, Casey was hitting the main Anthony cell tower, then at 3:21pm, she called Cindy’s cell phone for a 17 minute phone call. By the end of the call, she was hitting a tower 1.5 miles from JP’s condo.

When Cindy got home, she noticed Caylee’s Teddy bear was missing as well as some of Casey’s clothing. Casey told Cindy that Juliet had gone to the Anthony house to pick up a few things for Casey.

Did Cindy believe Casey? Of course not. Cindy called Ryan Pasley, Casey’s friend who lived in Jacksonville to ask if he knew Casey and Caylee were in town. Ryan said no they weren’t and that Casey had told him that Caylee was with Cindy at the beach for the week. That’s when Cindy vented to him about Casey’s stealing and lying and advised him to avoid Casey because she was a sociopath.

Casey’s cell records show she “missed” a call from George at 5:15pm.

According to Lee, Cindy called him to say that Casey had not been home for two weeks. Lee looked online and saw that Casey had left a message on a friend’s MySpace or Facebook saying she would be at a party at the Dragon Room in Orlando (not in Jacksonville as she had told Cindy). In Annie Downing’s ZG depo, she said around this time period, Lee sent her a MySpace message saying Cindy & George hadn’t seen Casey or Caylee for a while and wanted to make sure everything was okay; he asked Annie if she’d seen them. She hadn’t, but she sent a text to Casey, who responded that her parents were crazy and she talked to them every day. Annie told Lee they were fine. At 5:25pm, Casey receives a text from Annie Downing and they exchanged a few messages.

At 5:30pm, Casey received a call from Ryan Pasley (0 seconds)

At 6:57pm, Casey received an 11-minute call from Cindy’s cell phone

At 8:07pm, Cindy called Fusian Ultralounge from the Anthony landline (15 seconds)

At 8:08pm, Cindy called Fusian Japanese Restaurant from the Anthony landline (40 seconds)

At 8:10pm, Cindy called Lee from the Anthony landline (2.6 minutes)

At 8:17pm, Cindy called Brittany Scheiber from the Anthony landline (10 seconds)

*I think Cindy was looking at Casey’s MySpace herself, and that is why she called Fusian and also probably why she called Brittany since Casey had invited Brittany to Fusian via MySpace on the previous three Fridays.

At 8:44pm, Cindy opened a MySpace account, left the “My Caylee is Missing” message and sent Casey a MySpace friend request so that Casey would read the message.

At 9:03pm, Cindy called Lee from the Anthony landline (almost 5 minutes)

At 9:09pm, Cindy called Casey’s cell from the Anthony landline (less than a minute)

In his ZG depo, Lee said he and a friend went early to the Dragon Room and waited for Casey while looking for anyone she might know; he said he didn’t see anyone. Lee said someone who knew Lee was at the Dragon Room looking for Casey must have called Casey and let her know that Lee was looking for her. He said he was keeping Cindy updated through the night and began texting Casey after midnight; she claimed to be in Jacksonville and he told her no, he knew she was in Orlando; Casey refused to budge and insisted she was in Jacksonville. Lee said he looked for Casey until 3:00 am in the downtown Orlando area, going to multiple places looking for her, but never found her. Cindy told him to stop looking for Casey because she, Cindy, would handle it.

When Lee looked at Casey’s MySpace the following day, July 4, he saw that Casey’s comments and messages from late April to July 3 had been deleted.

At 9:42am on July 4, Casey received a 31-minute call from Cindy’s cell phone

This is Casey’s instant messaging exchange with WitePlayBoi AKA Alex R. on the HP computer on Monday, June 16, 2008. As JWG noted, this exchange was found on the HP hard drive in allocated space, so it had not been deleted:

Then at 10:27 am Eastern on June 16, Casey downloaded to her Photobucket account a picture taken of the inside of Fusian. The download information provided by Photobucket indicates the photo was downloaded using the Anthony’s Bright House Network IP address, 97.100.16.240.

Timeline for Monday, June 16 with HP Activity
Midnight to 3:00a, Casey and Tony texting back and forth; Casey was pinging Anthony towers for every call.
3:00a, Tony called Casey for 14 minute phone conversation, pinging an Anthony tower.
Casey’s phone goes dead until 7:45a (sleeping).
Cindy left for work by 7:30am to be at work for 8:00a. Cindy claimed she went to Casey’s door before she left, but the door was closed and she didn’t hear any noise, so she knew they were still sleeping.
George said in general, he would get up around 7:30-8:00a (shortly after Cindy left); Casey and Caylee would often sleep together in Casey’s room and would come out of their room around 9:30a.
Casey retrieved a voice mail at 7:45a left sometime earlier from the Anthony home line; my theory is that Cindy left Casey message before leaving for work that was about the fight they had the night before, and Cindy didn’t want George to know what she was saying to Casey (so she didn’t leave a note on the kitchen counter). Casey called the Cingular Voicemail access number to retrieve the message, and there is no cell tower activity, which means it was not a live call. The retrieval is only one second long, so my guess is Casey deleted it as soon as she heard Cindy’s voice.
Between 7:00-8:00a, there was heavy use of the Anthony HP Computer. This time period would include Casey’s IM exchange with Alex from 7:56-8:06am.
Between 8:00-9:00a, use of the Anthony HP Computer dropped significantly.
Between 9:00-10:00a, there was no use of the Anthony HP Computer.
Between 10:00-11:00a, use of the Anthony HP Computer was heavy again. This is the time period for Casey’s Fusian photo download to her Photobucket account from the Anthony home IP address at 10:27am Eastern.
11:47am Tony called Casey for 19 minute phone call (pinging an Anthony tower).
Between 11:00a-12:00p, use of the Anthony HP Computer was moderate.
Between 12:00-1:00p, there was no use of the Anthony HP Computer.
12:50p George said he saw Casey and Caylee leave.
Between 1:00-2:00p, there was no use of the Anthony HP computer.
1:00p Tony called Casey for 14 minute phone call (pinging an Anthony tower).
1:45p Casey called Amy for 36 minute phone call (pinging an Anthony tower).
George Anthony left for work around 2:00-2:30p.
Between 2:00-3:00p, there was suddenly heavy use on the Anthony HP Computer. This could have been George using the HP from 2:00-2:30p or it could be Casey using the HP from 2:30-3:00p. LE knows who was using the computer and when!
There were heavy thunderstorms and lightening according to Weather Underground (OIA data) between 2:20-3:53pm with the heaviest rainfall between 3:24-3:44pm. The thunderstorms rule out the possibility of an accidental pool drowning since Casey and Caylee would not have been outside in the pool during such bad weather.
2:52p Jesse called Casey for 12 minute call (pinging an Anthony tower).
Between 3:00-4:00p, there was no use of the Anthony HP Computer.
3:04p – George called Casey (26 seconds – pinging an Anthony tower).
3:23p Casey received text message from unknown caller (pinging an Anthony tower).
3:35p Casey received text message from unknown caller (pinging an Anthony tower).
3:35p Casey called Tony (22 seconds – pinging an Anthony tower).
3:40p Casey received text message from unknown caller (pinging an Anthony tower).
Between 4:00-5:00p, no use on the Anthony HP Computer.
Casey made a flurry of cell calls starting at 4:10p to family and friends.
4:10p – Casey called Lexus of Orlando (34 seconds – pinging Anthony tower).
4:11p – Casey called Cindy’s cell (3 seconds – pinging an Anthony tower).
4:13p – Casey called Cindy’s cell (2 seconds – pinging an Anthony tower).
4:15p – Casey called Lexus of Orlando (98 seconds – pinging an Anthony tower).
4:18p – Casey’s on the road, pinging a tower wet of the 408 and 417 intersection, heading for Tony’s, when she sends Tony a text message.
4:19p – Tony sent a text to Casey (still pinging a tower west of the 408 and 417 intersections, heading for Tony’s).
4:20p – Casey called Tony (58 seconds – still pinging a tower wet of the 408 and 417 intersections, heading for Tony’s).
4:22p – Casey called Jesse Grund (75 seconds – pinging a tower wet of the 408 and 417 intersections, heading for Tony’s).
4:25p – Casey called Cindy’s cell (3 seconds – pinging a tower near Amscot, which is one of the towers she hits when she is at Tony’s apartment.
Casey was either almost at his apartment at this point, or she was already there. I believe she was already there because she didn’t call him or send him another text for the rest of the night, and all her calls for the rest of the night were pinging one of the three towers she hits when she’s in his apartment.
4:53p Casey received a text message from unknown
5:58p Casey received a text message from unknown
    6:32p – Casey called Cindy’s cell (3 seconds).
6:33p – Casey called Anthony home (17 seconds).
6:33p – Casey called her own phone (51 seconds).
7:06p – Casey called Anthony home (83 seconds).
7:20p – Casey called Amy Huizenga (42 seconds).
8:00p Tony Lazzaro and Casey captured on videotape at Blockbusters renting two movies – no Caylee.

Excellent Work, and Casey is at Chris Stutz’s the next day with Tony’s Jeep. Not her own car. The ONE PERSON she calls twice the night of her arrest. What did she give him that he brought back to the A’s?

Thanks PP, I miss her too, but I understand her work load.

In regards to the cropped photo appearing on the A’s website (which Lee took control of), I got the impression from Lee’s deposition that it “may” have been put there by his sister or someone she had given the password to (yes, I understand the implications of this). LindaDB focused on the photo and the website, and didn’t he eventually say or admit he deleted it from the site at some point, stammering something about, and I’m paraphrasing – - I saw it and said, well, we don’t need this anymore, so… – -.

He said it appeared there with CA’s name as his “top friend”.
I know almost nothing about these spaces, but doesn’t a “friend” send their own photo or image to go long with their name asking to be a friend first before the owner of the personal site accepts him/her and posts their sent info? If you are just viewing the site, I believe you can just copy an image off it (I think so, never tried).

If somebody had the “new” password to the site (that Lee created, but he couldn’t remember it at the deposition), they would be able then to directly load the image and info themself. So, who all had the new password?

I will go back and re-read his deposition (but not tonight). ;-)

Great points Wmpmouse those reasons seem very plausible and innocent.I hadn’t thought of any of these. Thank you for offering these up.I am amazed by your deduction skills.

If this is the why of this photo, other questions arise. With so many other pictures out there of Caylee and Casey both, why is this the only photo that has never been leaked somewhere by someone?

I have seen numerous photos of Casey all over the web with innocent bystanders in them sometimes with their faces blacked out but the original always seems to be out there somewhere.I have worked with preteens and we were always warning them about the dangers of posting pictures of themselves on the web for their own safety, but also because once a photo is in cyberspace it is out there forever.KWIM

    Re: Curry Ford Road

I love the video clip of Casey travels and appreciate the time it took Blink to put it together, but I strongly believe Casey went straight to Tony’s apartment from the Anthony residence on the afternoon of June 16, 2008. I don’t believe she spent any more time on Curry Ford Road than it took her to drive the 1.9 mile leg of the Hopespring Drive-Sutton Place route. The towers she hits on the afternoon of June 16 (from 4:15pm until she hits a tower that serves Tony’s apartment) are towers along the Hopespring-Sutton Place route.

Whenever Casey drove from the Anthony residence at 4937 Hopespring Drive to Tony’s apartment at 3843 Sutton Place Blvd., she would basically leave Hopespring Drive, go north on Chickasaw Trail S for almost two miles, turn west onto Curry Ford for almost two miles, go north on Goldenrod for almost six miles, then make a bunch of little turns to get to Tony’s complex. The Mapquest travel estimates are 20 minutes and 9.83 miles. It’s the same route for shortest time and shortest distance, so this must have been her standard route to Tony’s.

It also is a route that would take her straight through the North Goldenrod/East Colonial (50) intersection where the Amscot at 7501 East Colonial Drive is located. The Amscot would be at the northeast corner of the intersection as she drove north on Goldenrod and crossed East Colonial. While I loved Marinade Dave’s videos and watched the “Amscot” clip last night, he (unfortunately for me) did not enter the Amscot parking lot from the direction Casey would have. He entered the lot as he was driving west on East Colonial, and Casey would have entered the lot as she was driving north on Goldenrod. Casey’s entrance, in other words, would have been a sharp right into the Amscot and then an immediate left into the two parking spaces next to the dumpster. She would not have wound around the parking lot as Dave did in the video clip but would have made a 90 degree turn right into the lot, immediately followed by a 90 degree turn left into the parking space.

On June 16 at 16:15, Casey pinged Anthony Residence Tower #1 (28.5028444 -81.2863333) at 2860 South Goldenrod Rd. (under 2.5 miles NW of Anthony house as the crow flies). She could have been inside the house, backing out of the driveway, or leaving the Chickasaw Oaks subdivision when she pinged that tower at 16:15. I believe she was driving out of the neighborhood and getting on Chickasaw Trail S.

She would have turned right onto Chickasaw Trail S and driven due north for 1.9 miles.

She would then have turned left onto Curry Ford Road, and driven due west for 0.7 miles, then northwest for 0.7 miles.

She would then have turned right onto FL-551/ Goldenrod Rd. and driven north for 5.7 miles.

From 16:19 through 16:22, Casey pinged a tower at 100 Chickasaw Trail South (28.5444 -81.2767472). That tower is about 2.5 miles due north of the intersection of Chickasaw Trail and Curry Ford Road, about 2.0 miles northeast of the intersection of Curry Ford and Goldenrod, and about 1.75 miles south of the intersection of Goldenrod and East Colonial (the Amscot intersection, which is about 2.6 miles south Tony’s apartment).

In other words, she was in range of the Anthony tower at 2860 South Goldenrod Road for her drive on Chickasaw Trail South and in range of the tower at 100 Chickasaw Trail South for all of her time on Curry Ford and most of her time on North Goldenrod.

At 16:25, Casey pinged Tony Tower #3 (28.5653389 -81.2958361) at 6817 Old Cheney Hwy (about 2.5 miles south of TL’s apartment and ALSO about 1 mile west of Amscot as the crow flies).

That tower is four miles (as the crow flies) from the intersection of Curry Ford Road and Goldenrod, so if Casey was driving to Tony’s apartment when she left the Anthony residence (as I believe she was), she was too far away from the Curry Ford leg of the route to hit that tower.

If Casey had continued on Curry Ford until she reached Semoran Blvd. (the road on which Gentiva is located), she would have been at the closest point on Curry Ford to the tower at Old Cheney Highway (just barely inside the three-mile radius of the tower).

Is there any reason why she would have taken Curry Ford as far as Semoran? She was trying to reach Cindy’s cell as she was driving, and at 4:25pm, Cindy still had about 30 minutes left of her shift at Gentiva. Casey was unable to reach Cindy at that time, and tried Cindy’s cell again at 6:31pm and 6:32pm before (likely) leaving a 17-second message on the landline at 6:33pm and finally (likely) reaching Cindy on the landline at 7:06pm for an 83-second conversation (I’m working late, and we’re staying overnight with Zanny). I don’t believe Casey was driving to Gentiva to see Cindy (Caylee was probably dead by then, and Casey wasn’t going to show up without Caylee).

I don’t believe Casey drove on Curry Ford any longer than the short stretch between Chickasaw and Goldenrod (a little less than two miles).

When Casey pinged the tower at Old Cheney Hwy at 4:25pm, she was within 2.5 miles of Tony’s apartment. She hits that tower many times when it’s clear she is inside the apartment, and I believe she was still on her way to his place and within a mile or so of the Goldenrod/East Colonial intersection and arrived within about five minutes.

We know they went to Blockbuster around 8:00pm and then returned to the apartment to watch both movies. Casey did not call Tony after 4:19pm, and her calls from 4:25pm on for the rest of the night hit all three towers within range of his apartment, including the Old Cheney Hwy tower at the exact time (for three pings) that Casey and Tony would have been watching the movies they just rented.

Tower #1 (28.5993583 -81.30325) at 98 Purlieu Pl, 32792 (about ½ mile NW of apartment as the crow flies)

Tower #2 (28.6039167 -81.2876111) at 4490 N Goldenrod Rd, 32792 (about ½ mile NNE of apartment as the crow flies)

Tower #3 (28.5653389 -81.2958361) at 6817 Old Cheney Hwy, 32807 (about 2.5 miles S of apartment and about 1 mile west of Amscot as the crow flies)

Her pings support the theory that she left the residence around 4:10pm and arrived at Tony’s around 4:30pm. Her two incoming text messages from unknown callers at 4:53pm and 5:57pm were unanswered. It could be that she and Tony were in the kitchen making dinner, so she ignored the messages. By 6:30pm, they had cleaned up, and she was ready to try Cindy’s cell at 6:31pm.

Awww … that’s okay. I am laughing at myself for what the wmp could stand for.

I agree, cyberspace is a dangerous place for children. How to regulate something so massive? Awareness to parents and caregivers is a great place to start, but they need further assistance. They can do their best to monitor a child’s use of cyberspace, but someone else needs to patrol the waters of cyberspace. Patrols are out there and they are to be commended for what they are able to accomplish. But really, armies of patrols are needed. In keeping with the times, cyberPolice really should be a well-touted and supported career choice.

Just the word itself – cyberspace – sure gives an ominous tone as opposed to the softness of the word internet. I never noticed that until you wrote the word, Momof3.

Yes, the world definitely changed the day computers came out for personal use.

Sorry, forgot to address your comments. I was explaining (but maybe not too well ;-) ) that this particular photo we have been discussing, would probably go through the same steps as any other photo (not just from this case) on any publication cover before the finished, printed product.

As to any nefarious reason behind the use of this particular photo or nefarious need to obliterate something or someone from the photo, I have no knowledge of The G intentionally participating, and so did not offer any comments to speculate on any untoward actions on their part.

  33. Thinker says:

Thinking it out ….. WHY did the prosecutors show the Anthonys copies of the cropped photo from Jaden’s Granny’s MySpace page, instead of showing them the full/UNcropped photo on the GLOBE mag?

Answer – because the State was not allowed to make it PUBLIC that Casey sold photos of Caylee to fund her Defense team – Judge Strickland ruled that this info be sealed. The info regarding how the Defense is being paid. The prosecutors could show an Exhibit of the Big Trouble SHIRT … but not show an Exhibit of the GLOBE uncropped photo.

Conclusion – the prosecutors, the Judge, the Defense all know about the full Big Trouble photo being sold by Casey, to the GLOBE, to pay the Defense, but this is something the Judge said the PUBLIC cannot know (yet). The Judge ruled that there was no conflict of interest between Baez and Casey. Selling of this photo was not illegal, but the PUBLIC sure would find it extremely distasteful and would have a VERY BAD opinion of Casey for selling photos of her murdered daughter to pay for her defense.

Baez had to shut Cindy up, during her depo, when she was about to blurt out that Casey took the UNcropped GLOBE photo to Baez and somehow they brokered the sale of it to the GLOBE.

    http://www.docstoc.com/docs/13348352/Cindy_BaezObjections_SealedStuff

Excerpts from Cindy’s depo where Baez objects regarding “sealed” info (summary by WS blogger BeanE)

    - pg 507/line 6 SA and Baez agree Baez’ concern is not that SA will discover something they don’t know, but that the public will discover something they don’t know.

    - pg 507/line 16 SA states therefore there’s no reason to suspend the depo, and pg 507/line 23 Lyon disagrees.

    - Important! pg 508/line 1 Lyon: “this information will make its way into the public wheel some kind of way once the question is answered.”

Then, the question remains …… as Blink pointed out ….. why did the GLOBE choose the specific photo to run on the cover, which depicts Caylee in the same SHIRT that was found with her remains? Did the “seller” of this photo, inform the GLOBE that there was some great significance to that photo – 2 months before Caylee’s remains were found? Did the GLOBE pay TOP dollar for that specific photo?

Question: if someone started a ZFG page on Myspace on July 16, wouldn’t it be possible for LE to work with Myspace to figure out where that page originated (on who’s computer). If they did that and found out it was one of the A’s computers, wouldn’t that be a slam dunk for the prosecution? You wouldn’t even have to know which Anthony did. Just the fact that it was made by one of them on that particular day says soooooo much. Right?

Why hasn’t the mainstream media picked this up and run with it? It makes me wonder if when the seal happened if the information wasn’t leaked to media and they held on to it (thinking Kathy B here, the reporter with a moral compass). Anyway I think if the media knew that picture was sold by KC that they would go with the story and attribute story to a blogger named Justice. If the media doesn’t know, I think they would still run story, if they thought there was any possibility to it. Maybe they are still trying to run down, who originally owned picture. Could this be just a coincidence? I’m leaning that way. They hit the airways right away with the duct tape on the posters story.

    RB-
Justice did find the photo as I aptly gave her credit for- but the correlation as to when it was run/sold/featured in depositions, determined whether or not the state had the full file and all other artifacts associated was team blink.

Oh, Bees. I’m a camp of one again. Not sure your s’mores are safe, my friend. Just sayin’, I saw a raccoon looking interested in hearing my theories…

Ok, let’s say we found out Casey was behind the Globe photo, and let’s even say that is the ONLY one she offered, or she offered a few but there was some hint of “this one will be a bombshell” or something. I suppose since Casey is the last one to see Caylee it’s ok for her to know what shirt was being worn (even though we have never heard this disclosed to LE), so it could be ok if she tells them the shirt is important (because it could refer to the last known living caylee, not dead caylee).

What does this buy the prosecution? It looks oogie, but how can they use this against her? Just another piece of the puzzle? Or “guilty knowledge” because she knew the shirt was there, but again, it might be reasonable for her to know that. Or can the defense assert that shirt was at Zanny’s which is why the Ants didn’t recognize it (but who is going to testify to that?). Unless she told the Globe “I killed the kid and she will be found dead with this shirt” I guess I am not seeing how the state will use it.

Same with the tattoo. Suppose the tattoo guy is on the stand.

State: Mr. tattoo artist, did you put this tattoo on casey?
    Tat: Yes.
State: We notice that one star is not filled in. Was that deliberate?
Tat. Yes, she asked me to leave one blank.
State: Aha!!! Did she tell you why?
    Tat: Nope.

Then where do they go with it? Can they just start wildly speculating about things that can’t be proven? Do they need experts? Can they weave it into their arguments?

I’m curious as to how this works. Enlighten me as to how these tidbits will figure into the trial.

I found this on cayleeanthony.wordpress.com It was in the first paragraph of Casey’s statement to police: On the day of her disappearance, Caylee was wearing a pink shirt, with jean shorts, white sneakers, and her hair was pulled back in a ponytail. I also was wondering if LE ever found the clothes she was wearing yet?? But then again a pink shirt and jean shorts are very generic (Caylee may have had more than one of each).

re: cindy saying “I forgive you for whatever you’ve said” and casey saying “don’t worry, I haven’t told them anything.”

Could it be that since casey already had cindy lapping up the tale about zanny and how casey could not call the police because the family would be in danger, cindy is saying “i forgive you if you told them anything that might end up saving caylee but getting us killed”?

Is it possible that Casey was just trying to avoid another fight with Cindy by claiming that Caylee’s father was dead? We have seen how possessive Cindy has been of “her family”, and a living father might have scared Cindy into action. Casey does seem to try to avoid arguments with lies whenever possible. Cindy, on the other hand, seeks out fights and arguments whenever she can–true drama queen of the Anthony household. Cindy’s eyes bug out and she sticks her chin out. I completely understand how Casey would have felt forced to lie about many many issues. OMG–early morning out of character sympathy for Casey.

Tony Lazarro is cut off, interrupted and/or inaudible, redacted in his statements to LE. Its almost as if they dont want him to say some things out loud because they know it will be released. Can they do that? Did they do that? I dont’t know. I was sure he almost said or was about to say something about getting a text from Casey about 6 and then was cut off again by EE or Yuri. Maybe I read it wrong.

I dont think Casey kept Caylee in the trunk of the car on the way to Tony’s on the 16th. ( although we know she had the guts to do it) I think Tony eluded to the fact that Casey didn’t get there until after 6 and then of course we know they were at Blockbusters later.

LE has Casey around the Curry Ford rd. for awhile even though others do not agree. (Maybe LE is wrong but they know more than we do) Casey made many references to Curry Ford Rd. What all is there? Around there? Close to there?

One of the places is the Orange County Public Works. Is it co inky dink. (PROBABLY) I can NOT connect the dots. I dont want to start something. Did Lee have a storage facility there? I just think some piece to the puzzle is missing and I think it is in or around this area. JMO

This is Somer Thompson’s Mom’s statements. The emotions ring true. Compare and contrast:

Mother of Somer Thompson: ‘I feel like I failed’

“First, I’ve never been known to be quiet. Second, like I said, I want justice for Somer,” she replied. “I also want all of these people who’ve come out to know that they mean so much to me, and I don’t want them to think that I don’t care, because I really do.”
She said the girl’s twin brother and older sister are coping with the loss as best as they can.
“They go up and down,” Thompson said. “You know, they’re kids. I don’t think they have quite the same knowledge that we have, but we’re all just a wreck.”
Most of all, she wants her daughter’s killer or killers to be captured.
******“I want to get justice for Somer and find this animal,” Thompson said.

The photo of Caylee ran in 2008. So that story itself is old. It’s not likely that the Globe is going to “dish” to other reporters about their source. If the Globe knows who sold the photo directly (vs an agency), & the significance, at some point they’ll probably run a lede like “Globe solves Caylee Anthony case”, or some other sensational headline. Right now, we are all speculating about whether or not the photo was sold by the Anthonys or the defense. Without proof, the main stream media would only be reporting on a blog site speculating on a photo. That’s why I don’t think it has not been picked up. If anyone would run a story now, it would be the Globe.

I think it is telling they did not rerun the photo/article after she was found, personally.

    Post as TOY, please

I think the poster above is speaking about a poster (paper composition) that was being secured by duct tape at one of the command centers during the search for Caylee. One of the Orlando news stations uncovered the match to the duct tape.

    Great site, Blink!

Thanks Debbie, of that I am aware, I am unaware that it was attributable to a poster, wftv never said that to my knowledge.

Of course Casey can’t testify to say “Zanny told me to set up a myspace page for her” (either as part of the script, post-abduction, or pre-abduction with zanny saying, “Hey, set me up a myspace page and meet me at Blanchard park”)—so if the defense wants to propose that to explain away the myspace page creation (assuming they trace it to the Ants’ IP addy), how would they go about doing that?

Excellent post and argument, and you are true to your name.

Question: is it a confirmed fact that the State did not have the Uncropped GLOBE photo of Caylee in the Big Trouble shirt, at the time the State presented the cropped photo in Exhibits during the depos of Lee, Cindy, George?
Is it possible that the State DID/does have the UNcropped, full photo, but did not use it in the Exhibits because Judge S. said that some of the info regarding selling photos to pay the defense fees was to be sealed?

    RB-
Justice did find the photo as I aptly gave her credit for- but the correlation as to when it was run/sold/featured in depositions, determined whether or not the state had the full file and all other artifacts associated was team blink.
    What posters duct tape story?

If your obliged to take my word for it, then yes, that is confirmed.

On second thought, when there is another court hearing, I bet Ashleigh what’s her face will bring it up as a comment during Tru TV’s courtside, or whatever they call that show.
