BREAKING NEWS

Orlando, Fl– In the recent depositions by the State Attorneys Office in the case against Casey Anthony one common exhibit was noted in each deposition of George, Lee and Cindy Anthony.

A cropped version of a photo of Caylee wearing the tshirt that is believed recovered with her remains.

CoverofGlobe

All 3 Anthony’s claimed to not have seen this picture before previously, although without being prompted, Lee noted the photo was cropped.

How then, did it get in the hands of The Globe? Could this be the evidence removed from the Anthony home that Jose Baez tells Cindy Anthony to “Zip It” during her testimony and objects to information he considered sealed by the judge?

This edition of the Globe was released October 8, 2008. Six days before Casey Anthony was indicted for murder and remanded to jail without bond.

THE SALE OF THIS PHOTO PRE-DATES THE RECOVERY OF CAYLEE MARIE ANTHONY FROM THE WOODS OFF SUBURBAN DRIVE.

One could make the leap that the person selling it would have had knowledge of what she was wearing when 34 month old Caylee Marie met her tragic end.

(EDITORS NOTE: Don’t even try the picture was sold at the yardsale with the clothes and laundry bag– PUHLEASE..)

Blinkoncrime.com poster “Justice 23” contributed to this report.

    Oh wanted to share

You can actually see Caylee in the same shorts in another photo
    found online.
It is the one were she is pretending to vacuum.

Maybe that cropped pic was the online shot for the Globe in Oct 2008, and your friend got it from there? At any rate, Lee was questioned whether he saw it before he deleted photos. That may be a question the state already knows the answer to.

Nice juxtaposition, of Cindy’s my space words followed by Casey’s. To see them together, and Casey’s post following so closely after Cindy’s really
shows a conversation of sorts. Eerie, really.

Thanks, Steph, re: the circo shorts. Seems to support the flimsier shirt and the sturdier shorts being at the scene in the same timeframe, both breaking down relative to the sturdiness of their construction. Now whether or not she was wearing them, I don’t have an inkling. Since her little remains were scattered by submersion, the weather, animals, and godnoze what else, it might be hard to determine.

I know there is a theory that they were already in the laundry bag when Casey grabbed it, but to me it would be odd that those would be the only two items in there (if it was used as a laundry hamper) cuz I am thinking it should have at least contained the father’s day clothes, too. (but who knows)

  4. suz says:

westside, yes indeedy, I think the photo deal could have gone down just as you said. And again, I think in that particular photo casey has the perfectly sly look in her eyes that makes you wonder what she is capable of… I’d probably have chosen it for that reason.

I have been through thousands, YES thousands of Caylee pics over the last 3 days. Some that are public, some that to my knowledge, have not been. There is no doubt in my mind whatsoever the sale of this pic in particular is germane to the eventual discovery of this child and that shirt. It was sold with knowledge. There are few things I am ever adamant about ( lol dont be lining up everyone with lovely nicknames) this is one.

Sorry … I just now saw your comments to me on the other thread about copying or duplicating my 2 original posts from there regarding the photo/date find to here. Right after that all happened, I ended up leaving the old thread after finding your new new article (was was put up lightning quick, I might add!) regarding the info I posted and coming here so I never went back to my old postings after that. As a result, I never posted my originals here but am going to do that now … thanks again for all your help!

“What link is there that shows more of the photo?”

OMG! OMG! OMG! Okay … I’m really trying not to get overly excited here because it’s not my 1st choice idea of a 1st-rate source either, but sometimes those stupid tabloids really do get the best photos and at times even the actual story the mainstream media doesn’t get. Remember the whole John Edwards story? The National Enquirer broke it first and it was actually true!

Anyway … I was doing some E-Baying this morning and for some reason typed in Caylee Anthony just to see what would come up. Mostly just covers of magazines did and look what I found!!!!! It appears to be the ENTIRE ACTUAL PHOTO (or at least one of them if there were in fact more than one taken) with Caylee (AND CASEY) in that now infamous T-Shirt!!! This issue was dated October 20, 2008 if I can make it out right on the cover … that was LAST year!

Please look at this and everyone tell me what you think!

Please go to the link in #635 and view it. The ENTIRE photo of Caylee in her T-Shirt (WITH Casey) is there (but it’s from the Globe, dated Oct 20, 2008). I happened across it this morning while doing E-Bay and now I’m haunted by it. I’m taking the photo into Photoshop now to see what I can find with this one. Interesting tidbit though … someone else definitely took this photo … ????????????? If this was truly Caylee’s last moments, or even day, doesn’t that then mean someone else does in fact potentially know something? Someone else had to have seen her, been there that day at the very least. I have my theory on who, but I could be way off. Just a hunch though … based on the previous interviews done with LE, only one person had a truly emotional reaction to Caylee’s disappearance, hmmm …. Blink … I would LOVE your comments on this.

It honestly seems to me as if this photo was recent. Possibly one deleted off Casey’s My Space and computer I’m guessing and probably with good reason knowing what we know now. Probably by Lee it based on some of his actions the day he went for Casey’s things at Tony’s. Is this why LE gave him immunity? To testify against his sister with proof she’s the one that did it? OMG … my mind is running rampant right now.

Justice, can you move or duplicate this comment to the new article please?

“I say it was Gil Cabot aka Todd Black… http://www.gilcabot.com/

In regard to the American Media link … YES, YES, YES! Hence the little verbal slip made by Cabot on Geraldo during one of the shows last year that Baez had to run around doing damage control on … remember that one? IIRC, Cabot was commenting about the way Mike Brooks from NG was talking about Caylee and/or her disappearance regarding the Anthony family and the “Casey Kool-Aid” and Cabot commented about how terrible his comments were because we were talking about a deceased little girl and how disrespectful his statements were or something to that affect. Baez was not too happy with that little comment and it wasn’t too long later that that Cabot was history and Marty MacKenzie came into the picture.

Hmmm … now that we’re thinking back on it, how would Cabot have known about that photo (his comments back then were Caylee was deceased so he did allegedly know). Was it he himself who sold the photo to the Globe for Casey and Baez at that time? Or was he simply privy to the info of who did back then because Baez was in fact in on it somehow?

That shirt was not “made”. Knowing what a fan Casey is of Target, I can just about guarantee you that the shirt was bought there. It was sold by Target in 2008 b/c I remember most definitely remember seeing it in the children’s section. They had several little t-shirts like that with different sayings on them. In fact, they still have those same type of shirts for sale now. Although, I don’t remember seeing that particular saying in the past couple of months but the shirt came from Target no doubt in my mind. As a matter of fact it was on the racks around the same time those striped shorts were b/c my daughter had those same shorts. The shirt was $5.99 if I am not mistaken.

Target has already supplied OCSO with an exact replica. Your right.
Proud of you that you know what shorts your daughter wears and where they are from.

Todd Black was so clumsy with PR, (actually PR in reverse), that it had to be that group cutting the deals for Baez, as everyone suspected since the beginning of time. Why else wouldn’t Baez have cut him loose sooner? Risk, reward, risk, reward. It was all reward until Black seriously fumbled on that one=too much risk. I wonder if he can now be interviewed by LE as to what he knew when he made that statement. Unless American Media will not give up the photo source.

I wonder if he (Cabot) is still brokering photo deals. He might have wanted to be the mouth piece, in addition to broker so that he could get attention, free publicity. He may be out of the picture PR-wise, but it doesn’t mean that he’s not still acting as a photo agent…hmm

  12. Sal says:

One other thing, I just read the online Enquirer article about the shirt….they are wrong. They say the letters were embroidered on. They were not. The saying was silk-screened on the shirt.

Bravo to the AHA moment in Cindy’s depo. I hope it will come back to bite her. I could hardly choke down part 1 and dared to venture yet to part 2.

I don’t know, but I find it very disenheartening to think the A’s could carry on so long with so many conflicting lies and bull crappola obstructing the investigation into finding a missing baby girl and then the same doggone crapola once her precious little body/remains were found. If these people are not charged somewhere down the line, perhaps after the trial, I will find myself rethinking the justice system. I heard a former FBI agent state that as soon as you talk to an FBI agent (who is a government agent) that you are held responsible for telling the truth period. These people have lied to OCSO, FBI, SAO, attorneys, family and public. They have thrown so many innocent people under the bus and they are not about to stop! Discussting and sick! Warped and delusional! I am so mad right now that I almost believe that this whole family is in on the murder of this precious baby! To find a way to have money and a new life without working! Set up a Caylee foundation to lure people into believing that they loved that baby sooo much and look! We are going to help these other missing children! When will this maddness stop already? Ok long post. Sorry Blink. It was not my intention to vent on your blog but I couldn’t help myself. Please know that all I want to see is the justice for an innocent and for the hand that took her life to pay for it. Back to lurk mode.

Stac, yeah, i don’t know what that thing is. Looks gold and glittery to me (if it’s the thing on the floor with a black strap running across its length, on top of the red plastic whatzit). First i thought maybe a Mardi Gras mask. Maybe it is some kind of mask with a black elastic strap on it, or maybe those are goggles of some kind. Or funny eyeglasses, like the kind that spell out 2008 for instance that you see at new years, and the black thing is really the two things that go behind your ears (apparently called a “temple” in eyeglass speak).

After trial, Casey’s appellate counsel may file motions for new trial based upon “ineffective assistance of counsel”. These are most frequently granted when a defendant is convicted of a capital crime and the DP is ordered.

Tough for any appellate counsel to make hay with that here, because Casey is represented by a DP-qualified attorney with years of experience under her belt, who has plenty of time to investigate and prepare for trial.

Doesn’t mean those kinds of motions may/will not be filed on her behalf post-conviction. When an attorney represent a defendant who has been sentenced to death, it is his/her obligation to file all reasonable motions to avoid that irrevocable sentence. Usually, however, claims of ineffective assistance of counsel must be supported by evidence of a glaring error, e.g. failure to interview a key witness/ failure to present evidence of intoxication (such that the person could not–legally–form the “intent” to kill) OR some other evidence of the fact that the defendant lacked the mental capacity to form the requisite intent/ failure to investigate and present evidence of an alibi, etc.

    #745 suz
No. The State and the defense are both allowed to argue their case during closing. Must be based on the evidence of record though. And no, again. The State–which has the burden of proof, gets the last word. State closes. Defense closes. State is permitted to respond. (And just so the jury understands that, most defense counsel will explicitly state that when they close. They will say, this is my last chance to address you. When I sit down, the State gets to talk to you again. And trust me… I would like to talk to you again after that, but I am not allowed/the rules do not allow me to do that. So please don’t take my silence at that time as me having nothing to say. It’s just that those are the rules. –Something to that effect).

Once a witness is deposed, it is useful to go back and read prior statements, both those given directly to LE, and recorded in reports.

The above is a link to a key report for too many reasons to enumerate, but I highlight it for:

    A)the clothing, since that is the focus of this discussion (another shirt with same # found at residence which had another saying on it);

B)the Winnie-The-Pooh blanket evidence/Cindy’s statement in the presence of “all” (a mighty credible list of folks, at that)(notice-nothing about some tipster and a psychic having described this blanket to her after Casey was first arrested and still in custody– I mean.. that would be fairly important, yes? particularly if you say you believe that THE FAMILY’S LIVES ARE IN DANGER from the killer– if she believed that nonsense, she would have been TERRIFIED, yes?); and

C)Cindy’s statement about having sent someone to the woods a MONTH prior (which, of course, matches the time of the Hoover tape of Dominic Casey).

Casey is linked to that dump site. No two ways about it.

And so, dear friends, is Cindy (and that is a FACT, not just my opinion; she has linked herself via her own statements/admissions/testimony)

    *****
For the first time at the deposition, we see some rather interesting questioning of Cindy about the Caylee and the “terrible twos”. (linked to the obvious timing of Caylee’s murder, coupled with the find in her room–the book with chapters marked about tantrums–, joined with Casey’s increasing desire to “escape” from that house/from Caylee as well as Cindy–recall how Cindy would have to call Casey at night to get her home each and every time Casey was out with friends, and the BIG TROUBLE COMES IN SMALL PACKAGES “message”)

Caylee had been having those terrible two tantrums.

Even the best of us know what it is like to temporarily lose one’s grip when a 2+ yr old is in the throws of a tantrum. You love them dearly, but you experience frustration on levels beforehand unknown to you. I can distinctly remember my father– a calm, rational man by all accounts– pouring an entire gallon of milk over my head on one occasion.

I appreciate that people want to believe it was simply wanting to get out of that house that motivated Casey to do what she did, but I think it’s wise to widen the berth. Seems to me there was an entire rainbow of reasons, including selfishness, jealousy, resentment, spite, the need to assert power/control, the expression of primal rage–at Cindy AND at Caylee.
    *******************************************************************************************

Are you saying in the neighborhood of 2+ years your Father dumped milk on your head and you remember that?
A gallon of milk takes 18 seconds to dump out starting at a 45 degree angle progressing to about 75 degrees in that timeframe- What did you do?

Yes, I am totally razzing you cause I heart you and I so know as brilliant as you are that means as a child you were as precocious as all get out.. Lol.

Excellent Point on CINDY being tied to the woods also. I would only add one more corroberator- Keith Williams visit to her on August 18th..

I had always assumed that Caylee was already dead by the time Casey and Tony went to blockbusterbased upon her absence on the video — but couldn’t she have been alive then and just with someone at his apartment while they went for the movies? How dwe know she was already dead?

  27. Sal says:

I was just trying to focus in on those gold things to the write of Caylee. They almost look like those glasses you can get with the year on them….you know the ones they sell around New Years or either they type of play glasses you can get around Halloween that have the dollar signs for the pimp costumes.

I am leaning towards the New Year glasses b/c once again Casey loves Target….well so do I….and they carry those around New Years and I know in my Target they were for sale for a long time in the dollar section…I guess trying to get rid of them.

I am leaning towards this photo being taken in a young guy…I’m guessing early 20s apartment…I just get that vibe from the messiness of the drawer hanging open. Those shoes look like the all white low tops that I have seen a lot of guys wearing. And if I had to guess, then I would say that Casey was high (marijuana) when this picture was taken. She has that big cheesy grin and glassy eyed look like she just smoked a big one. Now who has an Orlando phonebook so we can figure out where that shopping bag is from. It looks like SOO…from the graphic it looks like it would be geared towards a young person.

  28. Tra says:

But Blink how could it not got to trial??? Do you really think Casey will take a plea and then just be sentenced????Wow Bummer!

  29. Linda from New York says:

#815 Cheryl in TX – If I were sitting with the FBI all I would be able to DO is tell the truth. I would be shakin’ in my boots. I beleive the family thinks they have been “believed” in all that they said and continue to say to the FBI, LE and State Attorney because no one interviewing them has “called” them on the “stories”. Therefore, they probably think they are “safe”. I am sure it will be bery different on the stand: “Mrs. Anthony, are you saying your daughter never told LIES, only mis-truths and half truths, is that what you are saying???”

I was appalled to read that even a year later, That’s their Story and they are stickin’ to it!

Thanks for the Kudos by the way. That really was an AHA moment for me, at least.

  30. njsleuth says:

Blink: Your comment to *818. So you think there will be a plea bargain? Silly question but does the SAO have to accept a plea bargain? Can they continue ahead for the whole enchilada?

I keep going back and forth becuase I cannot imagine any mother killingtheir child on purpose, even though I know it happens. Maybe it was an accident and as Casey said in one of her interviews “She was terrified of Cindy’s reaction”

Perhaps Baez was so bad that he would not let her plea? Perhaps the A’s would not let her plea.

I cannot figure this group out???

  31. Sal says:

    Re: Suz

Maybe I’m not using the right word when I say silk-screened on….but it is definitely not embroidered. Those shirts are very poorly made. They have a lot of those type of shirts with different sayings, characters, etc. They are usually $5.99 but you can find them on clearance for as little as $1.98. That’s when I buy them b/c they are cheap and I use them for my daughter to wear to daycare. Not alot of money…so if they get stained, no big deal.

I will say that some of the ones I have have peeled just from going through the normal wash. I can’t remember if that one had the glittery effect to it or not but alot of them do. But it’s so poorly applied that most of it comes off in the shopping bag before you can even get it home.

As far a coming off in strips…would decomp fluids cause the shirt to disintegrate in some fashion? Have any of you ever left something in clorox too long and came back and it had a hole in it. That’s the affect I am wondering if the decomp fluids would have on the shirt.

    No Sal, definately not.
Only a solvent of some kind would deteriorate that fabric in the way your discussing.

I am so dense. I just realized that you said that your friend Jean was Jaden’s grandma, the one in the second exhibit from Lee’s testimony.
If that is the case, I wonder if LE can search her computer to see if that is where she got it (cropped photo) from The Caylee is missing site, or where ever.

Is that why she was an exhibit? She must have already been interviewed by LE…huh.

Is she the woman referenced being in a photo with George in the depo too ?

  34. Sal says:

One more thing…I just went upstairs and looked and I still had a pair of those Circo shorts from the summer. They are 100% cotton. I do not have any of that exact line of shirt right now b/c most of the summer stuff has already gone to charity but I am almost certain that they are 100% cotton as well b/c I always buy a size up since they shrink when you dry them.

  35. Kleat says:

suz, if you look at the pictures in the last discovery, you will see the lettering seems to be an applique most likely (I’m going to have another closer look sometime) and the way the group of letters are arranged for the photo, you can see the reverse side and the front side of the letters. If not an applique sewn on, maybe also with some fused material to stiffen them, maybe the material in the letters has not degraded from decomp and environment, while the fabric of the T has.

  39. Kleat says:

Q: Is the Anthony home, the type that you remove shoes at the door, religiously? (ie: are those Casey’s runners? Was thinking they looked too large, but reviewing, maybe not.

Q: Didn’t George talk about Caylee liking to play in her little funny-face nose-glasses set? One photo I remember seeing of Caylee, there were funny face lips and little green glasses she was wearing. (maybe that item on the bed behind Caylee, is one of those faces with nose or lips and glasses– )

  40. columbiares says:

Also- and sorry if this was discussed at length on another thread– I have memory issues sometimes (blush)- but I want to think Caylee died on the night of June 15th/early 16th- my gosh- how would she have time between all the phone calls ,texts, computer time and driving? Any thoughts? I am thinking this might explain why clothes not on when found.

I am going with Chris Stutz behind Door No. 1 or maybe I will go with Anthony Rusciano behind Door No. 2…

Nope, gotta go with Chris! I’m biting down hard on the bullet, B!

    Reasons are in this link.

When did Diane Tennis become “Attorney for Casey Anthony”? That is the way she signed her motion about the privilege log. Is that a typo and perhaps Baez wrote the motion for her and they just forgot to correct the “template”. I mean it is written to his standards.

Also where is the actual log? I am no lawyer but what they call a call the log on page two is nothing but 3 statements. Once again the state attorney’s office will have to go to court only to stand up to say well before we can even argue this they have to actually prepare it correctly.

If nothing else the taxpayers of FL should be in an uproar b/c they repeatedly make mistakes in their paperwork. I have never been to law school a day in my life but even I could google and find out what needs to be provided as privilege log and well…..this ain’t it.

Oh to be a fly on the wall in the SA’s office, I would love to hear the water cooler talk about what they really think about some of this stuff.

Heh heh, You got that right. M O R O N S. That would be the day I would have a motion or document with my name on it that was so flawed. I guess maybe they feel they have arrived?

I leave for awhile and so much has been going on! I don’t know how you keep up with everyone Blink! Especially since this is not the only case/story You work on. I am still trying to catch up. Kudos to westsidehudson and Pugluv for uncovering this new picture.

One thing this photo has proven to me is that so much can be done nowadays with altering a photo. Kinda scary when you think about just how much is not revealed in the original Globe photo. I know I will never look at another picture in quite the same way.

I would like to point out that the newest photo via the National Enquirer is still not the full uncropped version post #10 by wpgmouse- The Globe pic shows Casey’s entire head and what’s behind her right shoulder/back and alittle bit more of Caylee. So who knows what other things we can not still see.

  48. Kleat says:

This Globe/NA photo is not from Casey’s bedroom, not Caylee’s, so then whose?

Casey’s bedroom and furniture and bedspread:

Why are there runners with a Casey dressed up? Because she has changed in that house, or because she is staying there?

Thanks to MarinadeDave– this jpg probably eliminates Cindy’s bedroom as well:

Q: Will the Globe/NA photo also point to the defense target, maybe a ‘man in ballcap’? (Jesse is NOT the only man in ballcap in Casey’s life and photos, and she had a lot of those caps of her own).

Note: earlier NationalEnquirer October cover had the theme
“Casey Anthony: HUMAN SACRIFICE RITUAL! The Horrible truth about what happened to Caylee.

    http://www.cayleedaily.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/10/natinalenquirer.jpg

AND PERFECT TIMING–> the Elizabeth Smart “KIDNAPPER TURNED HER INTO DRUGGIE!: What she’s been hiding from her family for 7 years”

(like Casey, she’s withheld information– like Casey kept feeling in her gut, it’s a ‘kidnapping’ and she was alive all along– maybe still, like Elizabeth Smart)

It would be interesting to follow the pattern of EVERY cover and EVERY photo that American Media has published, because they are paying somebody…. and maybe getting some ideas for SPIN as a way to ensure cooperation with the person or entity supplying the photos…

    – what’s the pattern so far with what’s been sold and ‘presented’ and what’s the underlying theme and why?

Are the two OCT covers linking the tee shirt, the non-Anthony bedroom and the ‘human sacrifice/occult’ idea?? Now where would the NA get that story idea, if not from the ideas of the ‘joint defense’.

Maybe this is Casey’s way of causing harm to Jesse– maybe she can even see to it that he’s ‘killed’ by the state– in her DREAMS!!!

Sal, how funny, I said new year’s glasses, too! I love those goofy things. Pimp thing could be more accurate, though.

kleat, you are probably thinking of Caylee in these Groucho glasses

silverspnr, thank you! I guess I am kind of shocked that the state gets to make the last impression on the jury. Seems like an unfair advantage for whomever goes last. They should flip a coin like in football.

Ok, Blink, whip me with a wet noodle because you are almost always right and wouldn’t have put that link if you weren’t 99.99% sure. It all comes down to Drivin’ Miss Casey’s Bus and who she plans to run over, LOL! We shall see, my sweet, kind friend who is going to spend some quality time with family this weekend…we shall see! Hugs!

Lol. No way, All I can say is the carpet fiber type, color, moulding and wall color match this photo.
The Anthony’s and the defense have gunned Jesse Grund from day one, you know, the guy who actually wanted to be a parent to this baby.

I promise, The Blinks are on a blinkout! My good lady.
