BREAKING NEWS

Orlando, Fl– In the recent depositions by the State Attorneys Office in the case against Casey Anthony one common exhibit was noted in each deposition of George, Lee and Cindy Anthony.

A cropped version of a photo of Caylee wearing the tshirt that is believed recovered with her remains.

CoverofGlobe

All 3 Anthony’s claimed to not have seen this picture before previously, although without being prompted, Lee noted the photo was cropped.

How then, did it get in the hands of The Globe? Could this be the evidence removed from the Anthony home that Jose Baez tells Cindy Anthony to “Zip It” during her testimony and objects to information he considered sealed by the judge?

This edition of the Globe was released October 8, 2008. Six days before Casey Anthony was indicted for murder and remanded to jail without bond.

THE SALE OF THIS PHOTO PRE-DATES THE RECOVERY OF CAYLEE MARIE ANTHONY FROM THE WOODS OFF SUBURBAN DRIVE.

One could make the leap that the person selling it would have had knowledge of what she was wearing when 34 month old Caylee Marie met her tragic end.

(EDITORS NOTE: Don’t even try the picture was sold at the yardsale with the clothes and laundry bag– PUHLEASE..)

So you don’t think the shorts were hauled off by animals?

Was the shirt in the bag with the skull? (Sorry for asking a potentially stupid question).

Her bones were scattered everywhere. It would make sense to me that an animal could have gotten a hold of the shorts in it’s quest for what was underneath. (I’m sorry – that is so graphic…but I can’t think of another succinct way to put it.)

Teri, the collar of the shirt was in the bag. The skull WAS NOT in the bag.
Based on the known anthropological evidence, it would not have been possible for her to have been wearing those shorts, that is as graphic as I intend to be on it.

I sent Yuri the link to the myspace page and apparently Siggy sent just the photo.Yes Siggy sent the exact photo that was on her photobucket cropped because that was how it was found cropped.

Photo was found about 3 days before the first set of Docs that described clothing ,so not sure of those dates but was way after Caylee was found .

So yes something stinks in Anthonyville but honestly I can’t see even Baez being that dumb or Casey.

geeze Blink– you are amazing me even more– you timed this article right to save us from eye deterioration trying to find cars in fuzzy photos– (which some great observant Blinkers actually did).

Interesting, and I expect we will hear more when the time comes, of these online familly activities– Blink style.

Yes … Casey allegedly told Lee in one her jailhouse video visits when he asked who he could trust during his investigation that he could trust Amy, but Annie wasn’t to be trusted. However, what ended up coming out recently was that it appeared Lee ended up doing somewhat the opposite of what Casey had originally told him. He seemed to completely distrust Amy and even implicate her to some degree to LE, and yet he appeared to show some sort of trust in Annie even though Casey told him she couldn’t be trusted.

Don’t know what any of that means, but if nothing else, it just shows how backward the thinking is in that family.

Links to that myspace page are pointless…She has closed her page ,so you cannot get in photos.

She is just a Caylee supporter from what I gather ,has tons of Caylee pictures but where she got photo is important because it was not anywhere online or in Casey’s photobucket .

  8. Kleat says:

Ahh– did Jesse buy that T for Caylee??? Cindy says she would not buy something like that for her. WHO purchased it?

Anyone figure out that CASEY is the source (of course) BUT that Ms. CASEY MUST HAVE TOLD THE “TRUTH” in order for ANY of this to be useful to her helper leprachauns???)= Ergo– CASEY IS CAPABLE of telling the truth, not just snippets or ‘clues’, and she is CAPABLE of planning, decieving, and planting evidene against innocent people and not someone who is living in a fantasy ‘LIE’ world of her own.

    Hi Blink et al,
First time poster, long time lurker! OCSO interviewed Ricardo Morales on Nov. 4, 2008 and questioned him about some deleted e-mails to the Globe magazine. Don’t know how to attach the link, but you will find the transcript on docstoc.

Nope, I read it. He admitted it, it is possible, but no way is anyone getting past the cover of the Globe shows Caylee Anthony in the shirt ultimately found with her remains 2 months before their recovery and 6 days prior to Casey’s indictment. This is no coincidence.

  10. Kleat says:

deederma, I think the way ‘we’ saw the photo first, in the depo very black photo, juxtaposed in our minds, with what we saw of duct tape in the last releases, made seeing that photo in the depo releases very ominous and worrisome, although the child was happy, even moreso in my mind, than in many photos with her mother, where Casey has the big smile, Caylee often ‘stares’ or is clenching a posed smile, vs natural. This photo is one of the most natural expressions of a happy child– she’s not looking at mommy but someone else– like Cindy.

It was just ‘fear’ that this photo was something being released that we did not want to see. (thank goodness– )

I believe Lee’s distrust of Amy began when she was angry about her checks being stolen and was prob indicating that she would press charges (my opinion, of course). But if you look in the last thread, (or better in Lee’s transcipts), I noted that he almost talked about the checks as a reason to distrust Amy, then caught himself, rambled and moved away from that. He mentions that he didn’t believe she was such a good friend of Casey’s. In my opninion , that good friend would have been someone to let the check thefts go. But he made sure he didn’t ‘go there’ with the state, after catching his true feelings, he blurted nonsense.

  12. Granmomma says:

Justice23………that’s probably more of their code-talking. Meaning in a backwards sort of way. Which Anthony was it that said that? I can’t remember now, but I remember one of them saying….”in a backwards sort of a way”. Was this said in the same jail conversation as the who can and can’t be trusted, that Lee and Crazy had? I will try to listen to that one again in a minute. I’m at work and don’t want to become unemployed for being so obsessed with these whack jobs!

Ohhh, ok, I get it! Thanks for helping the remedial kid!

    1. Could the Big Trouble shirt have been a 2nd Birthday gift from Jesse to Caylee? (if the plan is to throw Jesse under the bus)

    2. Could this be something that links back to Cindy, that Casey thinks might implicate mommy dearest? (if the plan is to throw Cindy under the bus)

    3. If the sale of the photo came with a guarantee of future sensationalism (Caylee found wearing same shirt as on our cover) could she have negotiated additional funds? (if the plan is to provide Baez & company with bus fare)

    4. Will the monetary value of the autopsy/remains photos now be worth more than any threat of contempt of court charges? (if the plan is to purchase a fleet of buses)

Lol, throwing this out to the group except the remedial part. I have seen your sleuth skills in action Clock, your quite competent.

Blink might refute this (or not), but my own personal opinion is that George obviously lied. There have been so many weird things regarding “that last day” that it’s been hard for me ever truly convincing myself that George even saw Casey that last day, let alone that he could remember after so long so vividly what Casey/Caylee allegedly had on that day. Nothing against the male sex of course, but differences are what they are and I know my own husband, bless his heart can’t remember what any of our 3 children wore the day before, let alone months later and he seems representative of most men when it comes to details like that. A woman remembering something like that in that degree of detail? Yeah, maybe, but even then it’s a tossup depending on the mom/woman. But a grandfather that long after? Not buying it.

I believe that’s why during that Greta interview Cindy does her little hand tightening on his leg when George starts to forget he’s supposed to be sticking with the Cindy script and begins to say he was watching the news, then instead changes at the last minute to say the Food Show he watches because none of them really wanted the true timeline to be known … by LE or the media and hence the public. I think some depth of George has actually always known the truth, being the homicide investigator that he once was. My brother-in-law is a police officer and he says once in Law Enforcement, always in Law Enforcement … that intuition and “cop sense” never completely leaves you, even after retirement although George often downplays his. I truly believe he has had a very strong sense for a very long time that Caylee was gone at the hands of Casey and was on the verge of potentially breaking until the DP got put back on the table by the State. JMO of course …. you can give me my two cents later, LOL

I am baffled by everything this family does. I am now convinced that George will confess to killing Caylee accidently. He never though it would go this far and that none of the evidence would point to Casey. He can now claim insanity based on all his actions and Cindy will of course make him come clean. He was overcome by guilt back in Jan with his false suicide and is getting closer to his confession

Of course, this will be all made up to get the focus off of Casey and place some morereasonable doubt out there.

Anything is possible. I do so want to see ALL of them (including Bozo) in jail.

  22. diane says:

I must be dense. I have read this article 3 times. I don’t see what that picture has to do with anything .. Kids don’t wear clothes just one time ..

  23. Kleat says:

Would this photo have been sold while Mark NeJame was working for the Anthony’s? Yes– of course. Would George and Cindy have tried (and I put GEORGE first before Cindy– he need attribution for his real role) to ask Mr. NeJame to give photos to Baez or play any intermed role?

This no longer seems to be a ‘stranger’ did it, set up. But points to a real person, even if they do not name such a person.

And, if the family members no longer believe 100% (no dna is 100%) that Caylee is dead, then is the defense bringing Dr. Lee to dispute the dna? And then, WHAT did the stranger do?? Just kidnap?

Natalie Holloway’s mother and family went to the vacation island to FIND their daughter, alive or not– to find answers, to bring her home– they went door to door, endlessly searching, physically out there. Why did George and Cindy not go to Puerto Rico, go door to door, asking for help (offers of American dollar reward money to a poor neighbourhood, or a grotto or areas where a white child would stand out). IF they are serious, they need better help than Domi can give and they need to get the jewellery OFF, and get out and do the leg work to find their baby.

  24. suz says:

justice23, that is an AWESOME find! Well done!!

So it still could be a coincidence (it’s kind of the definition of what a coincidence is), or it could be something much, MUCH more interesting, as Blink suggests. Of course, you’d think they’d hang onto the photo until AFTER the body was found, thus making it wayyyy more valuable (“Get yer red hot photo of caylee wearing the Big Trouble shirt!”). Huh.

If we go with the coincidence angle, then I’d say they chose the pic because Casey has such a perfectly sly look that says “Am I a good mom, or am I sinister killer?”

If we think it’s on purpose, it will be fascinating to learn who sold it to ‘em (and for how much and all that).

So it is a cute, younger Caylee with more of her chubby babyfat, and not an “I’m about to kill you in the trunk” memento. Phew.

As for the cropped thing, am I alone in thinking it’s not the least bit odd that Lee—or any stranger you stopped on the street—would note that it’s cropped? I think that 99% of people would notice that right off the bat—-but maybe I am wrong, and it would mostly be people who work with photos and cameras and editing software who would notice—(but doesn’t ‘everyone’ have photoshop and/or multiple digital cameras with built in editing software these days?).

I do think the non-standard dimensions jump out at you, though.

PS Why does the Globe headline read Why Caylee Mom Snapped instead of Why Caylee’s Mom Snapped?

  25. Sal says:

My answer to the why this photo question…….

Casey told Baez or whoever the agent was for this photo that Caylee was wearing this shirt when she was snatched from Blanchard Park, dropped off at Sawgrass (whatever story she was going with that day). The Globe is told this is the last thing that Caylee was seen wearing when she was “snatched” so IF she is ever found perhaps she will be in that shirt because the likelihood of a kidnapper keeping her alive would be slim to none just based on normal child abduction statistics. Could have gone as far as to tell the Globe….we are only telling you this part about the shirt in confidence because this is a detail only the real “kidnapper” would know and the “police” don’t want to let all the details out. So IF she is ever found, you will already have this picture and published which will make it worth a whole lot of defense dollars….you buying what I’m selling?

    Yep.

  26. Kleat says:

wsh– I’m not sure what that connection is. The myspace page is attached to Lee’s depo– there is a man in the photo, but I’m not sure of which exhibit lee was answering to, when he said that was his father.

I’m lost on the connection there, unless Jaden was the little girl seen by Wanda Weary, or connected to the flight out of Orlando that all the fuss was made of (you know, the flight manifest, the videos etc, that no authorities ever looked into– like Cindy and Wanda continually ‘put out there’ to say they are not looking for a live Caylee).

And WHY the specific connection to this woman who obviously is CLUELESS, TOTALLY CLUELESS on dog behaviour. She hasn’t got the first idea. (but then, she might be a breeder– scarey what she would produce from her dogs if so).

  27. Charlotte says:

Does anyone think that MAYBE Lee isn’t the loyal brother he is pretending to be and that maybe he is trying to get Casey convicted and therefore out of the way? He has stated in the past that he was closer to Cindy than Casey, so maybe he has all along been fighting for HER affection which she did not have time to give to HIM because she was too busy protecting CASEY and getting Casey out of trouble all the time? Just a thought?

  28. redhat says:

I’m remembering questions from Cindy about who cut Caylee’s hair, who dyed Casey’s hair. Also questions during Cindy’s depo about recent changes of hair color. They may have receipts for a hair salon.

It wouldn’t surprise me if the state can prove by Casey’s hair in this pic that she had possession of Caylee AFTER she supposedly was kidnapped.

Also, could the Globe pic deal be the $14000 deal that Casey was telling Tony about? …and the source of payments to Baez?

  29. westsidehudson says:

Well, if I recall correctly, in one of the releases, the prosecution says that this shirt was INTENTIONALLY put on Caylee. That seems to hit on a few levels now.

  31. suz says:

Also, I love love love the “tying the shirt back to Jesse” theory, but why haven’t we seen the Ants or anyone bring it up in yet? Shouldn’t they have been peppering their testimony with it?

  32. justice23 says:

    #46 Kleat/Blink

According to the LE docs, the “Big Trouble Comes Small” shirt was a 3T … link shows the tag found with the remains of the shirt. At 34 mths, Caylee would have in fact been in a 3T shirt at that time … my girls were about the same size as Caylee at that age and they were in 3T too.

    http://www.wftv.com/pdf/21252744/detail.html

  33. Kleat says:

Intentionally as forced for it’s size, onto Caylee– why intentionally? To point the finger at someone, or to put that ‘trouble’ statement to implicate someone else thinking the baby was ‘trouble’, or Casey was ‘trouble’.

    ‘I… Killlll…. Jessss—-eeeee’ Very strange….

  34. suz says:

Re: the missing bruise, I think whoever cropped the photo also lightened it considerably (compare the pinks in the shirts and the purples in the lettering, her eyes, etc.—everything is lighter in the cropped one) and that might be why the bruise is faded out in the cropped version.

  35. Steadychick says:

Re: the size of Caylee’s shirt. In my own experience with my kids, once they reach a certain size they tend to stop growing “out” very much and just get taller for a while. Between 2 and 3 it was mostly the length that my kids grew out of. Things like shirts and shorts could be worn for a long time. I think Cindy’s potential argument about the size of the shirt is pointless. Caylee could very well have still fit into that shirt when she was found in.

IMO there is no way in H that Cindy didn’t recognize that shirt!

Also, to address why this particular photo would be worth more — if the Globe bought it, they probably have the rights to it. Can you imagine how many times this photo will be reproduced now that this story has broken??? Multiply times used X $$$ = BIG$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

  36. Kleat@12:35pm-maybe thisis why LE wanted the JCPenny aales slip or whatever it was that Cindy was reluctant to turn over to them. Its my guess that this is something that was purchased and thrown in with the body, so Cindy would be able to say exactly what she said.I would never buy her shirts like that and I wonder who would have purchased something like that for Caylee.hence, the nanny who bought and kept clothes and everything else for Caylee. this has to be what is being eluded to here.THE ANTHONYS HAD A LOT OF TIME TO COME UP WITH THIS AND OTHER THINGS TO TRY AND POINT THE FINGER AT ANYBODY BUT CASEY. JMHO!

  37. lol says:

    jaden’s gmom

Has absolutely no connection to Casey ,Caylee ,The Anthony’s ….Anyone
She just happened to have the cropped photo of Caylee on her myspace page.

Why,I do not know but that was where it was located.
Never asked her why she had it ,just sent link of photo to Yuri!
Far as I could tell she was just a Caylee supporter that happened to have some issues with not seeing her grandchild.

  38. Kleat says:

I thought there might be a ‘dog show/breeders’ connection between Weary and Jaden’s family, if only because people were flying out with dogs, maybe flying out on the same Orlando-Atlanta flight. Connection of Wanda was to Cindy and both had Yorkies. Connection of the little girl at the airport, was said to be because of ‘puppies’. But then, the dog show that Weary was at, woudn’t be the same as for a doxie person.

BTW, George’s first wife was, from his depo, Terri. (so that’s out)

  39. suz says:

WSH, I know the prosecution suggests that the shirt was deliberate but that seems unprovable. Are they trying to provoke a “gawd, no it wasn’t!” out of Casey? lol

  40. Steadychick says:

Re: my comment about rights to the shirt picture — maybe those rights still belong to Casey??? That would make even more sense and add to the argument that this picture was deliberately chosen. Blink — how does this work?? Would the rights belong to the Globe or to Casey, if she was the one who sold it???

There’s a whole lotta “depends” attatched to that. No doubt there is an NDA associated with it, and it depends on usage or excusivity, which in itself, the nature of that contract would be telling.
    B

  41. Word Girl says:

    That ole subconscious again!

Casey put that shirt on Caylee because she knew she’d be in Big Trouble for killing someone “Small.”

She also wanted to reveal her crime to the Globe and wasn’t above getting money from it.

At the same time, her conscious mind thought she could get out of the situation by distraction, confusion, falsehoods, and by putting the blame on others. This strategy is ultimately doomed.

  42. Kleat says:

Sal– thanks for the Blanchard Park connection/explanation that Blink agrees with— I’m remembering that Cindy, nor Lee, reported the Blanchard Park version when it was ‘revealed’ to them to the FBI or OSCO or anyone. Not so important– and George had told Morgan and Morgan, he never even heard of the Blanchard Park version. (I haven’t read what he might have said in his state depo yet).

SO, not important to get out on Caylee posters, this t-shirt description with the child as clothing last seen in????? Crazy– they didn’t want to find this child obviously– alive or dead if they didn’t give the proper information to investigators (REAL investigators, you know, the ones with ‘DAVID’ and better than Goggle search engines).

That lack of sharing with the FBI is shocking– but they go with Casey not trusting regular law people, but why didn’t BAEZ make sure LE knew what the child was wearing last in the ‘real’ kidnap scenario??? FIND THE LIVE CHILD!! (unless…)

  43. Kleat says:

Suz, I suspect it’s just a version of ‘Tot Mom Snapped’ but with ‘Caylee’ instead of ‘Tot’. Attention grabbing at a newstand I suspect. (who needs proper grammar in a headline when the only purpose is to grab attention with words, not proper sentences)

If Baez told someone at the Globe that this picture contains the shirt that Caylee died in, why hasn’t the Globe person come forward? Actually there would be more than one person at the Globe, someone who also needed to approve the payoff. Then there would be the emails back and forth and the secretaries talking at the water cooler. IMHO, too many people involved. I can’t buy it.

I’ve emailed the Globe, can’t wait to hear their reaction. Maybe someone from there will post here.

  49. TallyHo says:

    Awesome job – Justice23 & B

One question that I have – if, as we have theorized here, the Globe had knowledge that this picture had significance because of the Blanchard Park story, the why didn’t the Globe run with that story just as soon as the discovery about the lettering on the shirt came out?? It’s been a while, hasn’t it??

My guess would be to avoid a subpoena. A 34 month old child was found murdered in the shirt (or with her remains) that graced their front page 2 months before she was found. Protecting a source will not supercede a criminal investigation for murder, of that I am certain.

  50. #59-I THINK SHE IS A MIDDLE MAN FOR THE DEFENSE AND THE ANTHONYS.PHOTO SHOPPING THESE PICTURES OF CAYLEE AND CASEY TO ANY MEDIA OUTLET THAT MAY BE INTERESTED IN BUYING THEM.WHERE ELSE WOULD SHE GET THIS PHOTO FROM? SHE IS DEFINATELY SOMEONE FROM THE ANTHONY CAMP,MAYBE SHE IS NON OTHER THAN MISCHELL BART. I MEAN SHE IS STILL PRO-ANTHONY AND IT WOULD NOT BE IMPOSSIBLE FOR HER TO BE THE ONE WHO SOLD THIS PHOTO TO THE GLOBE ON THE ANTHONYS BEHALF.
