BREAKING NEWS

Orlando, Fl– In the recent depositions by the State Attorneys Office in the case against Casey Anthony one common exhibit was noted in each deposition of George, Lee and Cindy Anthony.

A cropped version of a photo of Caylee wearing the tshirt that is believed recovered with her remains.

CoverofGlobe

All 3 Anthony’s claimed to not have seen this picture before previously, although without being prompted, Lee noted the photo was cropped.

How then, did it get in the hands of The Globe? Could this be the evidence removed from the Anthony home that Jose Baez tells Cindy Anthony to “Zip It” during her testimony and objects to information he considered sealed by the judge?

This edition of the Globe was released October 8, 2008. Six days before Casey Anthony was indicted for murder and remanded to jail without bond.

THE SALE OF THIS PHOTO PRE-DATES THE RECOVERY OF CAYLEE MARIE ANTHONY FROM THE WOODS OFF SUBURBAN DRIVE.

One could make the leap that the person selling it would have had knowledge of what she was wearing when 34 month old Caylee Marie met her tragic end.

(EDITORS NOTE: Don’t even try the picture was sold at the yardsale with the clothes and laundry bag– PUHLEASE..)

Blinkoncrime.com poster “Justice 23” contributed to this report.

I hear you! I spit out water laughing when Lee was questioned if his sister always talked in “riddles”. More so than the tone, I was imagining the prosecutor having a hard time keeping a straight face. But, if you read too long, you get batty, and start to think everything is either funny or exasperating…or both.

  2. Angela_nw says:

I want to clarify my post earlier #352: the image of Caylee in the Globe photo, and the top left photo in that article (about the bruises) is not the same photo – what I meant is that they are images of the same bruise or scab and therefore same time frame. IMO

Also, does anyone have a link to the photo of Caylee in Ricardo’s apt with drum?

  3. Randie says:

    Kleat,

I stopped reading for the day around page 441 of Cindy’s depo, so maybe the answer is after that but………..if Cindy had Teddy first, then “claims” Caysee came and got it for comfort, how does the Family end up with it again???

    Westsdie,

You said, “Maybe Caylee was never dressed.” I have often wondered that. If it is true that later in the afternoon Cindy and Caylee were swimming, then Caysee comes home, there is a fight, welllll…..that leaves Caylee in a swim suit (and not dressed). Now wheather Cindy left or wheather Caysee left…..the child still may not be dressed.

    In a fit of rage…….killed Caylee……and she wasn’t dressed.

    hmmmmm…….

  4. Randie says:

On George’s Depo around pages 103 to 105 George elaborates:

“I felt there was something I felt just wasn’t adding up, I just, I guess the old detective mode came in and just wanted to find out what was going on…” This was about Sprots Authority.

Just wondering how often “detective mode” registers??

When it is about Caysee’s “time”? Yep det. mode

When it is about Money? Yep det. mode

When it is about Zanny? Nope all is good.

When it is about Tony, Jessy, Amy? Yep Det. Mode

When it is about Samanthia, Zanny supposed Sister? Nope all is good.

Detective Mode “is” in him. And he “knows” what Casey did.

Now is the time for “Cover up Mode.”

Thanks for responding Blink and I look forward to seeing your analysis of the photo.

My hat “CuriousGG” has no relevance to anything. I am just a curious girl who goes by the nickname GG.

Thanks again for all that you do. I imagine it is tough to juggle family, work this site and life but juggle you do and you do it well. Bravo!

    Thanks and welcome.

Sorry I don’t know the number, but I read your link. Thanks.
I don’t remember Ricardo’s official testimony, but from that article he states that Casey was “over too much, 5 days a week, suffocating”. Combine that info with what we know about her moving into Tony’s apartment so quickly, and it clearly paints a picture of a young woman desperate to get out of her family’s house.

  7. Kleat says:

Angela_nw, the photo with the drum at Ricardo’s– no apparent bruise under either eye (that I could see).

Earlier today, I found a photo of Casey with big smile, posed with Caylee, almost expressionless, again in an inside livingroom type setting– not the Anthony’s main decor theme for sure. Caylee’s bruise or red mark, is under her right eye (left side of the photo– opposite to the Globe photo). I can’t tell whether this photo has been reversed or not, but expect not– there is text on a poster (bet a man’s apt if that poster is a clue– maybe another room at Rico’s, don’t know). I can’t enlarge to see if the letters or word are backwards. This photo was taken at a shorter hair length than the Caylee with drum at Rico’s.

Curious GG, can you tell from the Globe picture as we have it available to us on the Globe site, has been retouched at all? I expect that this photo has NOT been reversed because of the lettering on the T shirt, but I wonder if there are other areas which may have been, such as the mark on Caylee’s face.

Couldn’t the flash, not so powerful if a little camera, fade quickly past the subject area and be fairly darkened depending on the flash power? With some additional darkening to suit the publication/drama and avoiding extra details. And there would be a certain lack of focus in the darker areas too, depending on how fast the ISO was set on the camera (if that was much of an option anyway)?

  8. hk says:

I can’t wait for your latest on that picture, Blink. There are certainly some areas that have been darkened. The area underneath Caylees shirt is totally blacked out. Casey’s arm/hand seem oddly blurred or “smudged” in PS language.

That picture just keeps getting more interesting.

  9. Kleat says:

Granmomma, one impression I get from Lee, is that he acts as if no one else is as smart as he is– he seems to have a lot of confidence in his abilities to tell someone what’s what, and have it believed.

Like Lee says in his depo, that he decided that Casey really meant to NOT trust Annie when she said she trusted Annie, because he heard Casey say that she DOES trust Amy, but Lee figured that couldn’t be right, so Casey must have meant the opposite for each woman, vs what she actually said.

Wierd logic but it fits with Lee’s need to be suspicious of Amy and friends, while keeping the family version of Annie and Casey were no longer best friends, scenario.

LE had Lee’s number early on, while complimenting him on his abilities as an investigator because he even had a note pad and everything! ;)

Testimony of Ricardo Morales on 7/25/08 re origin of bruise under Caylee’s left eye (as shown in above photo that appeared in “Globe” on 10/8/08):

EE: Okay. Uhm, regarding the photograph of the child with the bruise underneath the eye, you said that that occurred around January 23rd this year (2008)?
RM: Yes. I was, I was there when she actually hit the table that bruised her eye.
    EE: You witnessed that?
RM: Yes. EE: And that you know that that photograph now that’s in the news is…
    RM: Yeah (affirmative), I know…
    EE: …in your apartment?
RM: The, that, when she hurt her eye was in out apartment. It was an accident. She ran into the table.
    EE: Who took that photo?
RM: I, I’m, I’m pretty sure it was Casey.
EE: And she put it on her My Space or?

HK: “Is it possible this exact information is already under seal and was the item of reference in the Cindy depo?”

Blink: “Not previous to this article, no.”

Do we agree that this picture is the item under seal being discussed in Cindy’s depo? If yes, then WHY is it under seal (if not for the Globe article) ???

  13. njsleuth says:

The Caylee was not dressed goes with the fact that no shoes were found to be with her.

  14. lily says:

AngelaNW – I agree that we’re talking probably about 3 different images of Casey with what seems to be some sort of injury to her face.

To me – 2 of them appear to be scabs of some sort – one under each eye at 2 different times. The other one is of the Globe picture that looks like a bruise in one photo – and seems to be her hair in another.

I think its weird that she has round scabs under each eye – but it seems that Ricardo explained one of those injuries and stocirpa commented on that at 6:31pm above.

  15. Joan (Canada) says:

Blink and others, you seem to think that Caylee did not have the shirt and the shorts on her when placed in the woods. I believe that also. Could it be that when Casey got home on July 15th she found her mother and Caylee in the pool and once they started fighting, she grabbed Caylee and took off without dressing her or only a diaper or swimmy thing. Once the A’s figured out what Casey had done, they put the close at the site of the remains in order to frame someone else.
JMO. Anybody, let me know if I’m way out there.

I have also considered it is simply what was in the laundry bag when she put her in it.

I don’t believe I see a bruise or any other injury under Caylee’s eye in the Globe cover. Looking at the cropped version, IMO, there are wisps of hair coming across there. If you squint your eyes while looking at the under-eye in the cropped photo (enlarge the photo first), it will look like the “bruise” from the Globe cover. Same thing with the areas on the right forehead. The bruise” spot, or spots, are amplified from the newspaper printing process and the fact it is a low-resolution image we are trying to enlarge. JMO.

Is anyone here familiar with the “Bubba the Love Sponge Show”? I just got a Google Alert for stating that he has offered the Anthony’s $25,000 to be on his live morning show for 1 hour. A quick search shows is DEFINITELY not a Casey supporter. He seems like he shoots straight from the hip and would not take any of their crap.

Now here’s the $25,000 question, will Cindy’s greed get the best of her and she’ll agree or will she walk away from the money? Thoughts?

If this was taken on the A’s couch (the living room or enclosed porch, Blink?) who do you believe took the shot? Could it have been on a tripod (tripod found at Suburban) with self-timer? I have a completely nutty, more complicated thought, but I’m hoping you can offer a simpler explanation on who might have taken the photo.

  21. k says:

As I read all the comments, I have had a few thoughts and questions on Caylee not wearing these clothes when her body was left in the woods. Could it be possible that the whole Hoover taping Casey searching the area a “red herring”? Could he have actually found the remains earlier? Maybe Casey A. gave the clothing to Baez, he in turn gave it to Casey to plant with the remains to implicate Zanny, Ricardo, Jesse ?

I just want to spare taking everyone off topic if you don’t think this has any merit Thanks.- I have been fiddling with the contrasts on the globe pic and it seems to me that there is a pic/poster on the wall above casey’s left shoulder of a man in a tie? also comparing this photo to the cropped photo the area that concerned us sparetire/car area has been blackened out also and it seems as if when lightened looks to be possibly a tv screen with some image on it. What do you think? Thanks again, Momof3

  23. Sue says:

#344 – Suz – Was Caylee moved to her final resting place between June 24th and 27th? By then, the body would have been in such advanced state of decomp and would have really overpowered the car if fluids were oozing out. Did Casey panic and decide to dump the car at Amscot because she obviously couldn’t drive it anymore with the overwhelming smell and couldn’t risk someone asking questions about it?

Still trying to digest all the latest material. So many great minds at work here – just trying to wrap my mind around it all.

Still believe there will be a plea. Blink – you have the greatest site of ‘em all. Thanks

Kleat….6:23 p.m.- yep, I think so! (**wink) (Wish I knew how to do the neat little smiley faces.) I know on a thread somewhere it was explained in depth, but my mind was probably on Crazy and Crew and I couldn’t think that deeply at the time. LOL……

I don’t comment alot because I think …. I am a deep thinker, and with the case sometimes my imagination runs wild with me! (**wink)

Guess that’s why I can cause such a stir sometimes…..

Maybe I seem to laugh too, when….lets see….when I think there’s something said might be a koinky dink.

It, atleast helps me get through the day with a little less stress….wanting….SO BADLY JUSTICE FOR CAYLEE AND IT’S KILLING ME TO HAVE TO WAIT AND GET THE GOODS!

  25. Granmomma says:

Kleat, I also thinks Casey thinks she’s as smart as her big brother, too!

I know in one part of Cindy’s depo she says…(not word for word) but that her (Spindy), Lee, & Crazy had the same MENTALITY, but George, not so much!

    I THOUGHT……….you ain’t kiddin!

  26. SuzeeB says:

I think a fight ensued after Cindy and Caylee got out of that pool. I think tensions had been brewing for quite some time and after Cindy talked to Shirley she had had enough. Maybe Cindy threatened Casey that night with taking Caylee away. I think Caylee was still not changed from the pool and Casey in her anger just grabbed a blanket and Caylee and left. I know she didn’t go far.

If Lee was not at home at that time she may have just gone over there and sat in the drive unless she had a key. At any rate I doubt she went far. She could have driven around to that road behind the house. I dont know. I think Caylee was probably having a tantrum, tired, hungry and Casey in her anger probably wanted to shut her up so she could call Tony. And then she did the unthinkable. I think George and Cindy both lied about seeing Casey and Caylee the next morning. Cindy had no reason to call Casey that morning and take a chance on waking them up. She could have waited till she got to work or at least for a while.
I think Cindy called Casey because she wanted to know where Casey was. She never mentioned the car being in the driveway that morning and when she was finally asked she couldn’t remember.

If Casey did return home at some point that night then Caylee was in the trunk of her car. George never saw Caylee only Casey and she told him Caylee was at the babysitters. I don’t think Casey had any time on the 16th to do anything else between the phone and computer to do anything else except maybe on the way to Tony’s to look for a spot to put Caylee.

And Maybe she did temporarily until she had time to think. She looked like crap at the Blockbuster Video Store and it rained good that day. Looks to me like she got caught in it. I am not sold on the fact that she kept Caylee in the trunk of the car until she placed her at Surburban Drive. I think she moved Caylee at least once.

The rest and the timing I haven’t decided yet.

  27. Angela_nw says:

OK, now I have seen the pic of Caylee w/ Ricardo playing the drums (from article). No bruise.

OK – so then I think that the photo that KC told her mother was Zanny’s apt (really Ricardo’s apt) is the one I referenced # 162:
    http://www.clickorlando.com/2009/0602/19638179_120X67.jpg

I believe it is a cell-phone pic and also similar to the 3rd pic on the bruise article. Also, I think it is the pic that Ricardo identified as being taken in January 2008. Bruise under Caylee’s right eye. Not same time frame as the Globe pic.

  28. wpgmouse says:

  29. wpgmouse says:

    - – eyse :-)

My eyes can’t even spell anymore.

  30. Steadychick says:

The “they still haven’t found her clothes” statement never made sense to me and I’ve been racking my brain trying to understand the logic of Blink’s theory. I think I’m beginning to get it — Casey goes through the pictures while out of jail, sees this one and decides to frame the person who took it. So she communicates to someone to take the clothes Caylee was wearing in this pic and place them with the body. Then she sells the pic to the Globe, knowing it will be on the front page. Would the timing be right for the degree of decay of the clothes when found?

With this scenario, Casey’s statement still doesn’t make perfect sense, but when has anything Casey said made sense? Was she smart enough to concoct this frame up?? I doubt it, which leads to speculation that someone else was the mastermind — Jose?? Cindy??

  31. wpgmouse says:

    Blink

First an A dog, now a Cindy. Time for me to put the photo away.

  32. Todd in Tulsa says:

Blink, in response to #430 steady, do you think Casey sold the pic to the Globe more for the financial aspect, to create an alibi (in her thought process), or both?

  33. SuzeeB says:

Here is a pic of Ricardo with Caylee but cant see her face.

    http://viewer.zoho.com/docs/izbFg

  34. hk says:

After looking at enough pictures of Caylee with Casey…and knowing that Cindy and Casey had a violent relationship…I believe that Casey was abusive to Caylee. Perhaps a slap here and there, losing her temper, definitely yelling and verbal abuse. Which likely contributed to the Cindy’s case for taking custody of Caylee. (My belief that this was the final catalyst for Casey’s final act of abuse.)

Which would explain that Caylee never seems terribly happy in Casey’s presence. She probably never knew which Mommy she was going to get – the smiling public one or the hot tempered one within the Anthony home.

    Poor angel.

  35. hk says:

SuzeeB – Very plausible scenario IMO.

  36. Kleat says:

Thanks for those photobucket links to the cropped photo and the detail of the ‘pierced heart design barrette’.

If anyone is doubting the coincidence of this photo sold, to the find at the crime scene of the same Tee shirt (which, we have heard from Cindy, would not be a common shirt for Caylee with sayings on it, she didn’t know about it, she didn’t know who ‘purchased’ it, and the depos of the family didn’t reveal anyone seeing it before or recognizing it from the cropped photo), what about the coincidence of the ‘BIG TROUBLE’ T-Shirt AND the same little heart designed hair clip out of all that Caylee would have owned.

Not a single coincidence, with a photo that is sold to pre-empt the body find, and to give a way to show it was NOT Casey who did the deed and then sold the photo, but TWO co-incidences in the single SAME photo seen in the Globe– the distinctive shirt and the distinctive ‘HEART’ hair clip (maybe one on each side, but one we KNOW was found with the remains).

(the family has often thrown out little ‘reverse’ notions in their interviews with LE– like Lee calling out his mother for taking the 200 or so in ‘cash’ from Casey’s wallet– makes him look like he will be open with LE by even ‘telling’ on his mom so to speak. And Lee’s and Cindy/Annie’s statements that Annie wasn’t a good friend since she learned how Casey lied– makes you believe Annie will not be trusted too much, or that LE can take Annie’s statements at face value. (NOT!)

Patterns for deception– this photo is the biggie– so ZIP IT!! ;) (I think it may have been on that ‘so called by Cindy’ ZIP DRIVE that Cindy went on and on and on and on about, when Yuri and another detective (not sure who– JA maybe) came to Cindy’s door to ask her some questions. She made them stay outside and talk to her, then ranted on how unprofessional that was of them to question her outside!

  38. Momof3 says:

On June 18th Brian Burner, Casey’s neighbor said she was backed into the garage and borrowed his shovel. According to Cindy’s deposition Part 2 she is asked where she kept the cylinder bag she once used for Caylee’s balls and to describe how she kept everything in the right places. She states they had duct tape and kept it in the garage. She says that the ball bag was kept above the washer and dryer in a plastic bag which she says is now torn pointing to it in the photo shown to her.(maybe some of these torn pieces were some of the ones found in the woods- can they be matched back to that torn bag?) She says also above the w/dryer is a tablecloth she uses to protect peoples clothes from hair when she cuts it.(maybe as someone already stated this is where the fringe hair comes from which was found) she also states that there are separate bins to sort the color/whites from the wash- one for blues one for reds one for whites. She says it took the family awhile to collect enough reds to do a load. The photo of Caylee in the Big Trouble shirt if taken by Ricardo the last time he sees them puts her in that shirt on June 9 (via his statement). Would Caylee’s little pink shirt still be dirty and be separated into the reds? Maybe Caylee wasn’t dressed or did Casey rummage thru the bin in order to find this specific shirt and if so could that account for the red cotten fibers that were found in the wheelwell of the sunfire and on the piece of duct tape Q104 found in the woods but not on Caylee’s remains? Also numerous cat/dog hairs were found- Cindy states that the pet carriers were also kept above the washer and dryer… Hmm

  39. wpgmouse says:

Was this photo taken on Mother’s Day, 2008?

Just because they were over at Chris S.’s house “part” of the day, doesn’t mean she wasn’t also home for “part” of the day with family, after all, there were 3 Anthony mothers at that time.

That t-shirt could have been a gift, maybe from Lee.

  40. wpgmouse says:

“3 Anthony mothers” – - meaning 3 mothers within the Anthony family living in Orlando

  41. Granmomma says:

SuzeeB….I took a look at the shot of the Globe Magazine story and pic….

It is stated that the infamous pic Blink wrote about was from October 2008. I have a question….may be a stupid one but when I open the pic the file name at the top of the window opened is 9.15.080001. Is that when he sold his story to Globe. Nothing very nice about Crazy. So, is that why the pic taken at his apartment with the clothes her remains were found with was sold to Globe by someone (???) on the defense “team” shortly after….in retaliation to the statements Ricardo had made. I think they were tooting the horn on the run-a-way bus! LOL

  45. wpgmouse says:

    example edit:

“GLOWB EXCLUSIVE: Last Mother’s Day Photo of Baby Caylee with Killer Mom”

(JMO of a possible scenario … nothing like that is ever going to happen)

  46. SuzeeB says:

    Scenario Only

If Caylee left that house with no clothes on, on the 15th (just the swim clothes) and (CINDY KNEW IT) then Casey had to put something in the bag or at the site so that she could point the finger that someone else took Caylee. “Casey had to be found with clothes” or her parents (Cindy anyway) would know exactly when it happened.

Now she had no idea how things were going to go down. When George related what Caylee was wearing the last time he saw Caylee, Casey went with it and also the date that Cindy came up with. Then the video discovered then the date change and of course Casey had to go with that date change also.

When casey changed her story to Blanchard Park which I am sure she related to Baez she could have told him that her Dad was mistaken about what Caylee was wearing that day or she could have told him she had an alternative outfit in the back pack ( you know the one with the monkeys on it that was never found) An extra pair of striped shorts and a pink T shirt with big problems comes small. She just might have a photo of it in her collection.

So the Globe could have been told that scenario or something like that anyhow. Therefore it would be presented to The Globe the possibility that if Caylee was ever found it “could be” with those clothes. I am not sure anyone asked Casey “What was in the back pack?” Don’t forget she had 31 days to come up with some kind of a plan or at least options depending on how things fell into place. And then she was in and out of jail what 3 times. And 5 months before Caylee was found. At any rate, you can always lie lie lie, denigh, denigh until you do. And you could always drop off a pair of striped shorts at the site on an early morning jog if the cell pings fit. Or whatever. She forgot the shoes. God knows what she told Baez.

I still don’t think Caylee had the clothes on her body.

  47. suz says:

I’m trying, kleat, but am still seeing the Mars face.

  48. Kleat says:

    Curious GG,

Why are you not entirely a Blink site fan? What’s not to like at a site that allows open discussions, deters personal attacks and is tolerant of anyone trying to contribute in an honest fashion?

I think that may have been a typo error, but fair question.

    B

  49. Kleat says:

wpgmouse, Lee was shown the photograph of Caylee wearing the shirt and he did not recognize it– if he gave it to her, he would have seen the writing and the pink colour– cropped it was enough to recognize the shirt if one had seen her in it, especially if it was a gift from that person.
