NO Detectives, I mean THE OTHER Zach Hopkins

Orlando, FL– Where did we first hear the name Zach Hopkins in the case of missing and eventually found murdered 34 month old Caylee Anthony?

He was the non-existent son of Casey Anthony’s former schoolmate, Jeffrey Hopkins. He was the non-existent grandson of Jeff’s parents who got the phone call from the Anthony home about 5 AM July 16th, and follow up from brother Lee that he did not believe his sister.

The other Zach Hopkins, who is not a toddler, is in no way affiliated with this case, is an actor.

Zach appears in this Video created for Blue Fish TV and launched June 14, 2008 in honor of FATHERS DAY.

Yes, it says what you think. A duct tape instructional releases the day before father’s day, which is the last corroberated sighting of Caylee Anthony, starring a person with the misfortune of having the same name of an alleged witness in the investigation of her disappearance/ murder.

What are the Chances?

Actually, higher than you think. The video was produced by Blue Fish TV.

Blue Fish is a production company geared toward “learning” videos with a Christian influence. By our research at blinkoncrime.com, this is a solid and best- in- class organization.

It is also an occasional past time of Disney World Resorts President, Al Weiss. Mr. Weiss is listed as an occasional speaker and author to Blue Fish TV.

Additional representation to the Orlando area include Rob Duford of the Orlando North Community Church and Isaac Hunter of Summit Church of Orlando.

Speaking on the condition of anonymity, a source inside bluefishtv.com has confirmed that many of their videos have been filmed at Disney and UNIVERSAL resorts, Orlando, Florida.

Before you reach for the foil hat: Blink what does this mean?

It means someone was doing hefty research on duct tape, the Hopkins name, or knew of this production or someone involved very close to the time frame Caylee went missing.

Personally, I am of the opinion between June 16th and July 15th Casey worked diligently to retro fit her story, or “google-fit” as it were.

Recall that Cindy sat in the lot of Universal on July 3rd while Casey allegedly gave her this story and proceeded to call Ryan Paysley and ask him if he knew Casey and Caylee were in town, to which he replied:

..”No, she told me Caylee was with you at the beach for the week..”

In theory then, that means the first time Cindy hears the names Jeff and Zach Hopkins are July 3rd

Plenty of time for her to have seen this, and head back to the drawing board, and get her story down for her meeting with Detective Melich on July 15th.

What is so sick and disheartening to me is that Lee and George know that what led to Casey’s treatment and ultimate disposal of innocent little Caylee is Cindy’s refusal to ever hold Casey accountable.Yet knowing this, they still continue to support Cindy and Casey’s lies.

In the past, Cindy always made excuses and refused to see what was right in front of her face when it came to her beloved daughter. IMO Cindy never gave her love and acceptance freely to her husband nor to her son. It seems to me, both Lee and George are forever trying to please Cindy. Yet, Cindy is forever trying to please Casey. In order to please Casey, Cindy forces her son and husband to put on blinders and demands that the world put them on as well.

IMO Casey was the only one in the Anthony family that Cindy ever loved unconditionally. No matter what Casey did or said. Cindy’s love was unquestionable. Little Caylee came along and WHAM. Suddenly, there was another that Cindy unconditionally loved. She loved Caylee so much that she began to question Casey’s lifestyle and choices all in a attempt to protect little Caylee.

How angering this must have been to Casey. IMO Until the time when Caylee was born, Cindy always took Casey’s side no matter what, no questions asked. Then because of Caylee, her daughter, a present, which Casey gave to Cindy, Casey now had to toe the line or else. Well, why not just take that present back? Why not teach Mom what she seems to have forgotten?

“What is given, Can be taken away. Everyone lies, Everyone dies. Cindy seems to have learned the lesson well. After all, Casey is right back where she longed to be #1 in Mommy’s heart. No questions asked.

Re#186 “It takes smarts to read people.”

Getting smart depends on what you read. Apparently Casey was reading things like neck-breaking, chloroform, missing children and googling duct tape….
Oh yes and Cindy said Casey was a voracious reader. Cindy says it so it must be so. More likely a voracious reader of trashy sex novels when she was not reading up on how to kill her child given as to what her extracurricular activities were….
Was John Couey devious and manipulative when he buried poor little Jessica Lunsford alive in his back yard in a garbage sack? He could color too. Does that him an artist make?

Just wanted to suggest a helpful site in understanding sociopaths. BUT, since Blink mentioned ‘fair use’
aspects (which I’m clueless about) I’m nervous about it. Apologies in advance if I’ve gone about this in the wrong way…

The site deals mostly with love relationships and is very insightful into human behavior:

“Sociopaths have no heart, no conscience and no remorse. They don’t worry about paying bills. They think nothing of lying, cheating and stealing. In extreme cases, sociopaths can be serial rapists and serial killers.

Think you can spot a sociopath? Think again. Sociopaths often blend easily into society. They’re entertaining and fun at parties. They appear to be intelligent, charming, well-adjusted and likable. The key word is “appear.” Because for sociopaths it’s all an illusion, designed to convince you to give them what they want.

Sociopaths are masters of manipulation. So before you give away your love, your money or your life, read this website and the Lovefraud Blog.”

I thought this was interesting also in regard to Kleat’s point about “appearances.”

A good movie to watch about sociopaths, is the Diane Downs movie with Farrah Fawett..it gives you a real feeling on how a mother can kill a child and have no regrets and justs moves on…her and Casey draw a similar line in personality.

Regardling the 08/14 jail visit and Cindy’s reaction, I notice that Casey has a smile on her face. Could THAT be what alarms Cindy??? CJ- there’s a difference between being morally correct and being intelligent. Try Ted Bundy- most sociopaths are at least average or above average intelligence. I don’t believe for a minute that Casey is “dumb”. The act of killing her child is “dumb”, her stealing is “dumb” and her lying is “dumb”. The minute you place your guard down and think you above intelligence of a sociopath- then you are prey…………..my humble opinion.

  17. C.J. says:

Regarding the 08/14 jail visit, Casey is very happy in that video. She is once again the center of attention and George and Cindy are going along with the Zanny the Nanny story….

  18. C.J. says:

columbaries – But, most people are not even aware they are being taken advantage of by a sociopath until after the fact. I agree that Casey is probably of average intelligence. I definitely think she thought she was smarter (prettier and funnier) than anybody else and thereinlies her downfall. I don’t think she is in the same league as Ted Bundy or Drew Peterson per se. I also lean toward if Casey had gotten away with Caylee’s murder, she would have gone on to lead a normal life and have had more children. Thank you for your most thought-provoking response.

  19. jennyt says:

Momof3–re 203–I think you are right on. So well stated.

I agree that it was not Cindy who was in control of that family…it was Casey, via Cindy, who was doing everything under the sun to keep Casey happy. Until the end that is, when she started tightening the screws on Casey…and now it seems it is Cindy who feels the heavy weight of guilt.

  20. columbiares says:

    Traits of a sociopath–

    1. failure to conform to the social norms for lawful
behavior, as indicated by repeatedly performing illegal
acts that are grounds for arrest

    2. deceitfulness, as indicated by repeatedly lying, use of
aliases, or conning others for personal profit or pleasure

    3. impulsivity failure to plan ahead

    4. irritability and aggressive , as indicated by repeated
    physical fights or assaults

    5. reckless disregard for safety of self or others

    6. consistent irresponsibility as indicated by failure to
keep a job or honor financial obligations

    7. lack of remorse, as indicated by indifference or
rationalizations for having hurt , mistreated or stolen
    from others

The sociopath is very intelligent and knows how to
manipulate people into thinking they are normal and that is
when they work their magic. Beneath the mask of sanity a
sociopath is full of tension, hostility, irritability,
rage, emptiness and sadness at the core of the sociopathic
personality. When they hurt a person a sociopath might
think he had it coming or I’m watching out for number 1.
Those sociopaths with children neglect them and do not keep
    them safe.

  21. C.J. says:

Just a thought that “google fitting” means Casey was typing terms such as duct tape into the google search engine and punching the I feel lucky button, reading the information that came up and then using it to fit her situation/story/lie????

I coined the term, so my bad for not taking the question. For me, google fitting is the retroactive term for the electronic based aibi.

Are you insinuating that Mallory may have taken George’s binder to give to the FBI to help convict Casey? or that Mallory may have taken the binder herself and kept it to make sure LE or the FBI never found it in order to help Casey (and indirectly Lee)? Not sure how to take that one … I’m thinking it’s a good possibility that she did actually … for whatever reasons. The fact that Mallory didn’t kick Lee to the curb right after his romantic little confession to her about his mom, Casey and Caylee always coming first is proof enough for me that she fits nicely right into their family.

Honestly, I would not put it past Hoover to have collected that, if it came back from CA. That dufus escaped Fed charges from his antics because he gave a statement OCSO found useful. Who takes a concealed image of an FBI agent executing a warrant?

I don’t think that Casey says Caylee’s name once in the video…she refers to her as…that kid…my baby…but I don’t recall her calling her Caylee…she is so self asorbed and states she can’t really talk because they will use it against her at TRIAL…I thought that interesting…she continues to tell her parents she is out of the loop and does not have any connection…while in the same sentence she tells them that she has complete communication with Jose, letters from fans, and is aware of how she is viewed by the media..It is most interesting that the parents treat her like she is a fragile butterfly…I love you baby..sweetie…if she was my daughter i would of come through the glass, grabbed her neck and choaked the Fuc_ out of her….sorry, but that is how disturbed she made me feel about this little angel, that probably still smelled like baby…gone, gone, gone..and know one really cared in her family, about Caylee…Casey was the Princess.

  31. Gypsy DD says:

Casey spent 2 years looking for a male to marry her and be a baby daddy. Suddenly she stopped that when she went into a relationship with TonE. Not saying that TonE was responsible..saying she abruptly stopped looking for a baby daddy/ husband material for some reason.

Prior to that time Jesse, Brandon, Mark Hawkins all were good husband and father material..if you will. Even Ricardo and that crowd loved having Caylee with them.

So why the sudden switch to a crowd that was not used to children and therefore would buy the nanny story lock stock and barrel? All still in college, all still just living that single college life..no real cares in the world?

What made Casey decide that she’d rather be single and childless then keep looking for a husband to take care of them both?

It appears that Caylee was supposed to be her ticket to freedom. I do believe she knows who the father is and he bowed out once she was pregnant. I do believe she was starving for attention in that household. When she entered her early adolescence her brother got the attention with his illness..so she started doing things then, lying, stealing, etc…still no love..no attention. Virtually dropped out of school (she had to know she was a credit short)..did not attend summer school..still no attention. If I have a baby then that baby will love only me. A mini-me..how wonderful.

Gets pregnant, baby daddy runs out or isn’t husband material, baby is born..baby gets the attention. Looks for a man to get her out of this situation..they all love Caylee and her. These men spent time trying to reassure her that life will be fine…nope..they had to love her and like Caylee. So the ticket to freedom has to go..Caylee..then she can do her own thing and find her own life…………and get even with everyone who ever didn’t love just her enough.

Very simplistic life of a psychopath. Ask Cindy how it ever got that far..ask Cindy why she said her daughter was away bonding with her 2.5 year old…when that should have happened in the first couple of months after birth. Casey had bonded with Caylee as much as she could, she thought Caylee would be hers alone..she didn’t realize that others would love Caylee as much as they did. Poor Casey tried to use Caylee to her advantage in finding a mate..but all the mates loved Caylee..not fair..they needed to only love her (Casey)

  35. Gypsy DD says:

Oh, a PS to my above comment..don’t be surprised tohear in Mark Hawkins interview that Casey was about to take him up and come live in California with him. She would have said she gave Caylee to her dad and it was better for Caylee if they never interacted again. Just my opinion..but the girl wanted out of the house, the baby didn’t do it and had to go, the fight with Cindy cemented her research to action, and the rest is history. But TonE was not going to be around for long as a boyfriend. I do believe she was going to rush into Mark Hawkins arms ..passport in tow.

Does anyone know the significance about the menu Casey speaks of during the jailhouse visit I believe on Aug 14. Cindy questions her about it.

  43. Momof3 says:

Gypsy DD, I couldn’t agree more with your belief that Mark Hawkins was Casey’s final destination. Casey thought she had until Caylee’s B-Day to hang around Florida. IMO She thought she could stay one step ahead of Cindy, George and Lee. She would have to produce Caylee by B-Day or be safely out of the area.

Your posts are so thought provoking! Respectfully, I don’t know if agree that Casey was looking for a father figure for Caylee. She seemed to drop Jesse when he wanted to be a loving father to Caylee. Casey seemed to resent it when others cared for Caylee too much. Perhaps, she did this if others got to close to her too. When Ricardo told her he loved her, her response was too little too late. Also, Casey seemed to always have another man on the side/waiting in the wings.

You wrote: “So why the sudden switch to a crowd that was not used to children and therefore would buy the nanny story lock stock and barrel? All still in college, all still just living that single college life..no real cares in the world?”
I think this is a huge point. Thanks for bringing it up. Could it be that this is life she really wanted? She had finally fell in with her type of people- Fun loving, no consequences, live for today, sleep in tomorrow crowd. Maybe she didn’t care if they believed her stories or not. They didn’t know her or Caylee very long.
I think she sought them out because there, with them, she was free to be free.

  44. Kleat says:

Justice, was wondering if Mallory might have talked to Lee IF she arrived to get into the place before the search warrant was served. (apparently that might have just been a coincidence though, the two arriving at almost the same time)

I hoped it wouldn’t be Hoover, because in some unreasonable way, I’m still hoping beyond hope, that someone in that whole outfit was doing something right by the baby. Like the reasons for the video taping of the woods trip. (right, no one say it!!– I know I know… it just ended up being better than if he’d been able to make a profit from that)

Blink, he did WHAT???!?! How did I miss that… geeze, it never gets better does it!! ;)

  45. Al Miller says:

Re 61. Kleat. For sure, I’m not questioning the blatantly obvious; that CaSey is not what one would call a “reliable source” but she really thinks she is smarter than everyone, and seems to weave some truth in with the lies to “trick everyone” (remember, she is so smart) so I guess I don’t know why she would say LEE had made advances toward her in the past, what is self-serving about that? I would think that would be a really embarassing, shameful thing to tell someone. Usually her lies are to function in a manner to make her look better in some way. But you never know, she could have accused him as revenge for something? I’m just saying that it is unresolved in my mind.

  46. MsEnscene says:

Does anyone remember a press conference, maybe a little later than the Aug. 14th jailvideo, in which George did all the talking and Cindy was leaning on George as he talked, and she looked weak or drugged. She wasn’t so much avoiding the camera eye, as not caring what transpired at all.

I thought “Bingo!” she has finally admitted it to herself. Cindy was truly “KNOWING” that Caylee was dead. Her look of grief was even more pronounced than that observed in the jail video?

Anybody have a clue when that presser took place?

There are some women IMO that get their kicks in seeing how others will react to any given situation. Some women like to provoke their boyfriends into fights with other men in order to see if they will protect them or fight for their honor. Some women like to play little Miss Innocent to provoke a different response. IMO Casey made these accusations not to hurt Lee or get revenge. She never thought any of it would get back to him. I mean how many opportunities in everyday conversation would arise for Tone or Jesse to confront Lee about this? Hey Lee, Nice to meet you… by the way did you make advances on your sister? At the very least, they probably would stay clear of Lee, which would have suited Casey just fine.

  49. Gypsy DD says:

Thanks Mom of 3..I liked your post too.

Mark Hawkins in 2007 wrote to Casey via email that he couldn’t wait until his leave to spend time with Casey and Caylee. That he would show Casey what a good dad or father figure he could be to Caylee. I think at that juncture she was still looking for a way out but also with Caylee..someone to take care of us. And with her cunning and outgoing personality she may have made a good military wife (and also finally gotten the mental health care she needed). Interesting that Brandon was also in the military too. I think in the military environment she realized she would meet other Mom’s like her, and there would be daycare available for Caylee. Also if she married she would have had more children..therefore she thought more people to love her..and a husband who loved the kids..but placed her first. But she just could never let herself get that far.
But you and I are both right..in each instance when the man also loved Caylee..somehow she inserted the more..as in love me, like my daughter… it was over..she had to be number one. She just never found that mix. But being an unhinged personality push would have come to shove no matter who the relationship was with..somehow no one met Casey’s expectations for being a parent, brother, boyfriend or husband.
