Casey/Caylee Anthony Case: Duct Tape, Father’s Day and Hopkins

NO Detectives, I mean THE OTHER Zach Hopkins

Orlando, FL– Where did we first hear the name Zach Hopkins in the case of missing and eventually found murdered 34 month old Caylee Anthony?

He was the non-existent son of Casey Anthony’s former schoolmate, Jeffrey Hopkins. He was the non-existent grandson of Jeff’s parents who got the phone call from the Anthony home about 5 AM July 16th, and follow up from brother Lee that he did not believe his sister.

The other Zach Hopkins, who is not a toddler, is in no way affiliated with this case, is an actor.

Zach appears in this Video created for Blue Fish TV and launched June 14, 2008 in honor of FATHERS DAY.

Yes, it says what you think. A duct tape instructional releases the day before father’s day, which is the last corroberated sighting of Caylee Anthony, starring a person with the misfortune of having the same name of an alleged witness in the investigation of her disappearance/ murder.

What are the Chances?

Actually, higher than you think. The video was produced by Blue Fish TV.

Blue Fish is a production company geared toward “learning” videos with a Christian influence. By our research at blinkoncrime.com, this is a solid and best- in- class organization.

It is also an occasional past time of Disney World Resorts President, Al Weiss. Mr. Weiss is listed as an occasional speaker and author to Blue Fish TV.

Additional representation to the Orlando area include Rob Duford of the Orlando North Community Church and Isaac Hunter of Summit Church of Orlando.

Speaking on the condition of anonymity, a source inside bluefishtv.com has confirmed that many of their videos have been filmed at Disney and UNIVERSAL resorts, Orlando, Florida.

Before you reach for the foil hat: Blink what does this mean?

It means someone was doing hefty research on duct tape, the Hopkins name, or knew of this production or someone involved very close to the time frame Caylee went missing.

Personally, I am of the opinion between June 16th and July 15th Casey worked diligently to retro fit her story, or “google-fit” as it were.

Recall that Cindy sat in the lot of Universal on July 3rd while Casey allegedly gave her this story and proceeded to call Ryan Paysley and ask him if he knew Casey and Caylee were in town, to which he replied:

..”No, she told me Caylee was with you at the beach for the week..”

In theory then, that means the first time Cindy hears the names Jeff and Zach Hopkins are July 3rd

Plenty of time for her to have seen this, and head back to the drawing board, and get her story down for her meeting with Detective Melich on July 15th.

Someone brought up earlier in thier post regarding the email exchanges between Rick & Cindy. In one of the emails Rick is shaking Cindy down about the phantom sitter and in Cindy’s response she rambles on and on about Casey’s innocense but makes a very strange comment which led me to beleive that Cindy already knew Caylee was dead & this email exchange was on 8/11/08….her response & I beleive it was a slip up on Cindy’s part, she says “Hell, Caylee’s hair is probably in in my trunk, did I kill her?” That to me speaks volumes that Cindy knew Caylee was dead before 8/13/08. Here’s is a link to the email, read it carefully and you’ll see where Cindy slips up. This response always bothered me, check it our for yourself and would love to hear anyone else’s opinion on this……

Gretas report did not say neighbors heard someone in the pool. I told the police about the pool ladder onthe 16th of July, as I did Mark Furman on the day he reported it on Greta. He has been working with uson this case. You are just as bad as the media running scenerios with just bits and pieces of what themedia puts out there. There are a lot of facts that I can not tell you about at this time. Lying does motmake someone a murderer. I am not in denial.

The cadaver dog that hit on the car was the same one thathit inconsistently in the back yard on the 1st day they were there. That is why the sheriffs office broughtin the second dog out the next day.I watched as they explained why it did not hit in the back yard.Cadaver dogs are not 100% accurate and can be easily influenced by their trainer. We have alreadyspoken with the man who started the program on instructing these dogs. He will testify that these dogscan be influenced by the trainers. They purposely used the 1st dog only, on the car the day before thebond hearing so the judge would not allow a reasonable bond.

The sheriffs office thought that Caseywould crack being in jail this long. She hasn’t because she is protecting Caylee. We have a lot of peopleworking to prove Casey’s innocence. We can not come out with other evidence until Caylee is safe. Youneed to keep an open mind. If you don’t you are just as bad as the media. Why don’t you spend yourenergy on trying to help us find Caylee. What have you done to put the word out? Think about why itstaken so long for the DNA to come back. The only thing they might have is a few hairs from Caylee inthe trunk. All of our hair is probably in the truck. Hell, Caylee’s hair is probably in in my trunk, did I killher?

As for my neighbor he has told so many different dates and versions of the shovel we cannot keepthem straight. Once he said he was outside working in the yard. Then he said Casey came to the doorand he never went outside, so he did not see her car. He still cannot remember what day of the week orwhat week in June it was. One time his wife said she was the one who gave Casey the shovel. No onehears about that in the news.

I could go on all night, but I refuse to waste my energy on justifying any ofthis to anyone especially to my own family. I am not mad I am disappointed. Its bad enough you havelittle faith in Casey but George, and Lee and I are busting our asses out here every day to find Caylee. Ido not see any support for her from my own family. We get more support from complete strangers.Thank God for all of them.

  3. MsEnscene…….that presser was IIRC Nov 19th or 21st (same week Dom Casey went poking with his metal rod on Suburban Drive). It was with Michelle Bart “the new spokesperson”. I remember watching it and thinking Cindy knows Caylee’s dead. But after the info was released about Dom Casey searching Suburban Drive, her behavior told me she knew where Caylee’s body was. I am with Blink on Cindy knowing August 14th Caylee was never coming home.

    Gypsy DD,
I never knew about the letter. You have a way with words. As I read your post I could picture the life you so aptly envisioned. If only it happened just as you wrote. If only, how tragic for Caylee that it didn’t.

  5. Celeste B. says:

Nancy Friday wrote a groundbreaking book about Mothers and Daughters. She describes why Mothers and daughters fight during teenage years. Friday posits that while the young woman is just beginning to attain power with many attributes during young adulthood the Mother is (during the same period of time) beginning to lose her power …starting the whole menopause thing. (The older woman can not help but be envious and chagrined at her waning power). The fights also happen because the young person wants to separate from home. This is all garden variety family stuff that gets played out in everyone’s family–But something happened to Casey (during high school) that wasn’t just hum drum “I’m getting prettier than Mom” stuff. My guess has always been sexual abuse at the hands of someone close. This would explain how she completely jumps the tracks from being normal to being nuts during high school.
Can you imagine the type of anger there is when sexual abuse is going on within a family but the Mother conveniently “doesn’t see it”??? Believe me..THAT is the kind of anger toward Cindy that I see coming from Casey. I am careful here to not write the *i* word…because it is definitely not fair to the males in the Anthony household to accuse them of this without better information. I lean toward it, however, because of the amazing lengths that this entire family engages in to wrap Casey in cotton and “not make her mad”. It is wayyyy beyond the pale. Something big happened to Casey. Historically, look back at women who have killed their own children. Their background often includes the *i* word.
Why is Casey so out of her mind? There is certain to be a reason. I hope it comes to light so that there will be an end to this nightmare..so that there will be an explanation and “closure”.

at the minute 2:14 in the video Cindy does indeed say that they are not doing good and that they heard that day Aug 14 that Caylee was dead and drown in the pool. Surprises Surprises was Casey’s response about her own baby possibly being dead, Not Oh my God please No!!!…Cindy does know IMO

I know how to save the PDF. I just wondered if there was a way to excerpt or extract from it. I can cut and paste now, but basically it becomes an ‘attachment’. I don’t know how to extract parts & convert them into real text files. It would make it easier to pull parts of testimony rather then transcribing it over by hand, if I wanted to post them here.

WSH, sorry for the non-answer, but I do believe there is pdf to word conversion software or vice-versa.

  8. reinin says:

    Al,
I believe that Casey used the story of being abused to get attention, Oh poor Casey, I’ll take care of you.. but also to keep her boyfriends away from hearing any stories about her. She did not want her boyfriends to be friends with her family. She told this story to both Jesse and Tony L.

    McEnscene,
The press conference with Cindy looking drugged, leaning on George, unable to speak was when I thought Cindy really KNEW that Caylee was dead. I can’t find it now, but that visual was painful to watch. At the jailhouse video, I think she knew that Casey was not telling the truth but that later time when she looked medicated was when I knew that she knew.
Wasn’t it in November, around the time of the D Casey searches, comments to Hoover about going to find the baby, and the baby was dead.

    MsEnscene-

Not to take away from the poster that has already responded to you but I think the video(s) you are referring to was the first “meet and greet” sometime in late August or early Sept? I had the same reaction you did, she was almost non-responsive and would not make eye contact. At first I thought she was drinking, but then realized it was probably drugs.

There were actually quite a few videos at that time — though they might have been just local news reports — that C looked really drugged and out of it. No idea where to find them — but I’ll look around, unless someone else has them handy.

Hi folks, some great posts as usual! What I find odd is that..I think it’s in Cindys depo she says Caylee was breast fed for 4 or 5 months. It’s just not something I would think Casey would do.
It is such a close and bonding experience. It just confuses me. Any body any thoughts? Do you think this is another lie to make Casey appear to be the mother she obviously wasn’t?

I was struck by that also. I have not heard anyone else refer to that; I would like to hear verification of that from a neutral person, but honestly, even if she had, with the psycho/emotional afflictions most think she has, I am guessing that experience would not have been the same for her, imo.
Fwiw, I would like to wish she had, and that Caylee experienced that kind of love and attatchment at some point.

  13. Lori says:

Oh wow everyone needs to watch this entire interview again. The whole Florida Mall deal, Dominic Casey, the insistence that the sheriff’s department lied about the FBI saying Caylee was dead, on and on and on…

Al Miller, if i recall correctly, lee used to tell his friends, i think it was—could have been her friends, too—that casey was basically not normal or was a little weird. Seems to be the only one in the family willing to acknowledge that something is a little off with sis. Anyway, maybe she started the Lee rumor to explain why he would be saying those things about her. “Lee might tell you I am crazy, but that is because he tried to molest me and he doesn’t want anyone to believe my story.” Counter spin?

  15. suz says:

Did the cops take Tony’s or other people’s computers, too? If google fitting occurred, i reckon the evidence would either be on Casey’s laptop, or one of her friends’.

  16. Wendy says:

For those of you trying to watch/find the video of Cindy and George with Michelle Bart, where Cindy looks drugged, I found the link. There isn’t a minute counter that I could see, so I can’t tell you the exact minute where George begins to speak and you can see the Anthony’s. Prior to that, it’s just Michelle Bart speaking. The best I can do is to leave the link and tell you that it’s almost exactly the halfway point where Michelle shuts up and George begins to speak with Cindy laying on his shoulder.

Here is the link…hope it helps…. I realize it’s not “clilckable” from here, but you can still copy and paste it in the address bar.

Well..we now know Caylee is dead. So – now would be as good a time as any to come forth with that evidence that Casey is innocent. Caylee isn’t in danger anymore – so why not spill what you know?

Oh..that’s right. It’s because they can’t. There ISN’T any evidence that points to Casey’s innocence. D’OH!

  18. cmaissol says:

Casey’s not out of her mind – tachnically. A personality disorder is not treated the way you treat depression. No medication will treat a personality disorder in the same way you treat someone with depression. They do use meds to focus on certain symptoms- but you will never ever, ever ever, ever “cure” a persoanlity disorder and certainly never a sociopath. Personality disordered people see nothing wrong with themselves and do not accept therapy. The prblem is everyone else. I’ve been a psychiatric nurse for 29 years. You don’t have to be intellectually smart to be sociopathic and cunning. Look at gang members and the Mafia. I have seen young children be extremely cruel, cunning and without remorse.

Casey would never have led a normal life if she let Caylee live or if she did escape to her military guy. She will always sabotage efforts made to help her. She does not know how to love and I guarantee she would have been cheating on that man in 6 months. She loved Caylee as long as she was cute and reflected well on HER. Step out of the script and you will be punished or rejected. Tantrums are not lovable.
Casey would done well if she had gone to Germany near an army base and become an Army groupie. She would never have had to pay for a meal and probably would have run through 5 husbands by the time she was 60. I use that example because something similar happened to my ex-husband before he met me. he became involved with a woman who had been married twice by the age of 25 and had a 3 year old. She went through men like a kid goes through cookies and amassed nice cars, jewelry ,etc. She also faked a pregnancy to force my ex to marry her. She threatened to tell his commanding officer lies that he was abusing her to get him booted out of the Army. Thankfully, he did not give in,gave her some “going away” money and she moved on to another man in 2 weeks – without ever giving birth, I might add.

Narcissists like Cindy and Casey expect the people close to them to “reflect” well on them. They will choose partners based on superficial characteristics- looks ,money, material items, etc. Step out of line and you will be the object of hatred. Repent and they just LOVE YOU SO MUCH- until you do something wrong. Like another poster said – Lather, rinse, repeat. My mother was like this. I was her “precious princess” until I spilled water droplets on the floor, whined, disagreed with her, or made a mistake- and then I was cracked across the face. When she was no longer angry, she would be lovey-dovey and I was expected to forget the incident immediately. Think “Mommie Dearest” and you have your narcissist.

  23. Steadychick says:

Sorry if this goes off the topic a bit, and I know much of this has been said before, but just had to get this off my chest. As we all have come to a better understanding of who Casey is over time, it’s becoming more and more clear to me that (IMO) Casey definitely murdered Caylee with premeditation. Cindy and George know her better that any of us. It’s impossible for them not to know this also. Look at the history:

She could not/would not stay with Jesse because he cared so much for Caylee. Casey couldn’t stand the competition and didn’t feel she was #1 in that relationship.

She couldn’t just do the right thing and turn Caylee over to her parents because that would reflect badly on her — this was just not an acceptable alternative for Casey. Have to keep up appearances, don’t ya know, and by having Caylee her mother would have forever had some control she could hold over Casey. In addition, it was obvious to Casey that Caylee was more important to her parents than she was. As long as Caylee was alive they would have chosen her well-being over Casey’s every time. Casey had been displaced and was now #2 — Not acceptable.

She couldn’t have Caylee around while with Tony, because he was young and free and didn’t want to be tied down with a child at that point in time. Kids were something out in the future to him.

If she had gone to California with Mark Hopkins, there was no guarantee that relationship would have lasted. And Mark probably would have loved Caylee, and that simply could not be allowed.

Instinctively she had to know that she couldn’t keep up her charade of working and caring for Caylee forever. Caylee was growing up and asserting her own independence and personality. This was reality for Casey, and the only way to be rid of the responsibility and to make sure that all the attention remained on Casey alone was for Caylee to disappear.

I have not always felt this way, but I now truly believe she planned and thought out the kidnapping scenario — a perfect way for Caylee to disappear and for Casey to garner eternal sympathy and attention. That’s why her story rolled so easily off her tongue. She held things off as long as she could, but knew she would eventually be confronted about where Caylee was, so she had her story ready. She just didn’t plan well enough because, based on the documented history of friends and family never confronting her lies, she never expected that she wouldn’t be believed.

Roy Kronk, the utility meter reader who found Caylee Anthony’s bones, has been fired by Orange County.

Kronk was terminated late Tuesday after failing to attend a disciplinary hearing for an as-yet-undisclosed issue, records show.

“Roy Kronk was scheduled to attend a pre-determination hearing yesterday to address issues pertaining to his employment with the County. He failed to show for the hearing, and a decision has been issued terminating his employment effective immediately,” the county wrote Kronk’s lawyer. “Therefore, the County shall not pay any legal fees associated with representing Mr. Kronk that are incurred from this point forward.”

The letter was written by Assistant County Attorney Peter A. Lichtman to Orlando lawyer David Evans, who had been paid by the county to represent Kronk after the skeletal remains were found in December.

“We appreciate the courtesy and professionalism you have demonstrated throughout your excellent representation of Mr. Kronk,” Lichtman wrote. “Should you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact me.”

Kronk had been working most recently in Orange County Utility’s fiscal and administrative support division.

I remember george saying on one of the tv interviews that he came home and sindee was walking up and down the drive way ringing her hands crying and saying over and over WE HAVE LOST HER!
WE HAVE LOST HER! George says who?
And she said CAYLEE!We have lost CAYLEE! Does anyone eles remember this?
I THINK THIS MUST HAVE BEEN AFTER ONE OF HER AND CASEYS FIGHTS!Casey may have said something like you will never see caylee again! Why wouls cindy be so upset and say they had lost caylee?
But anyway i think she has really knowed from that time! This was before they found the car, i think they were really mad at casey and said alot of things and then starting thinking how bad this made them look that casey had been gone for 31 days with caylee!
If my daughter was acting like casey no way would i wait 30 days to find her and my grand baby! I think they think this made them look bad and they haved tryed to change everthing around but its not going to work!
No one would want to belive there child could do such a thing hard to wrap your head around but they have to except sooner or later that she did do it and then ask there self why?I think they thought they knew there daughter?

  28. Here are some screenshots from the Nov 2008 interview of Michelle Bart and George Anthony. I don’t include Cindy because the only words spoken by her were “NO, NO, NO” when George says if anyone has tips they can call OC Sheriff’s Dept if they feel comfortable doing so.
IMO, George probably had no idea at the time that Cindy sent Dom Casey to Suburban Drive to look for Caylee’s body just days before. She obviously knew something from her demeanor thru-out this interview.

Ok- I went back and viewed the August 14th video with out sound and then with sound. I only viewed the first of 4 videos, but man -that video alone says a lot!!!!!! A few things stuck with me. I agree, Cindy knew Caylee was dead from the start of this video- she is obviously in the first stages of grieving. At first Casey seems like a school girl who is so proud that her parents came to visit her and she is feeling special. IMO, she thinks her mother’s tear are for her. The minute she realizes they are there for Caylee her demeanor changes dramatically. Then she starts in on what a savior Jose is and he’s “keeping her in the loop” and Jose, Jose, Jose- thank God for Jose. She says “He’s focusing on Caylee and I- you guys are focusing on Caylee I know I’m still part of your focus but she’s your main focus- I understand that. Dad I know where everybody’s priorities are- I knew that the day I got here” Someone please explain this to me- Where is she going with this statement. For me a lot of Casey’s true personality was coming out but just enough and then she would realize the interview would be viewed by others and she would “fix” her wording so to speak. This is the point where I believe she was letting them know there is NO reason to keep this “Find Caylee” charade up because she’s NOT coming home. Hey gang – it is time to focus on me and getting me out of here! She then goes on about how long she’s been in jail and how she feels and follows by “What am I supposed to learn from that – what am I supposed to learn from that?” Sort of – hey guys what’s done is done and there is nothing we can do now- too late. “The opportunity was there that I probably could have helped- I’m trying- I was trying.” This is very telling IMO. This comment could very well be referring back to those moments the family had together just before LE arrived. Maybe she is letting them know- I was going to tell you everything until you let them arrest me and now you will NEVER know! I think what truly bothers me the most is that Casey isn’t concerned for her daughter at all- she is focused on getting out of jail and telling her side of the story- Even if she already knew she was dead- there isn’t an ounce of concern from her- other than what people are saying about her. She doesn’t even seem scared that they will find Caylee’s body- it is as if Caylee’s chapter is over and she’s ready to move on!

In both George’s and Cindy’s latest depos they are asked about Casey and Lee’s school years. Perhaps, if something happened to Casey it could have happened during this time and maybe by someone other than a family member. Who knows.

I keep thinking of this whole situation as a conflict (read, war) between Cindy and Casey. Casey was Cindy and George’s little princess until she started to grow up a little. Because Cindy is a classic narcissist, those adolescent fights took on a completely different aspect. Cindy may have looked like a protective nurturing mom in public, but I bet dollars to donuts that family life was hell. No way could a child have decreasing grades and a normal social life and get along with control freak Cindy. (Lee talks in various places about fights between Cindy and Casey and how Casey was more likely to have temper tantrums than to pout. In that way, she is more like Cindy than like George.)

Cindy is unable to let her disappointment and anger go unexpressed. Casey’s crown as princess of the family took a fatal tarnish with an unplanned pregnancy. Cindy lied as long as she could–seven months?–before deciding to make the best of the situation. Once Caylee arrived Cindy did not want to share her with the bio father and she and Casey had dominance arguments over Caylee. If Casey did nurse for five or six months, I bet it was so she could hold something over Cindy and it gave Casey a reason to be unemployed.

As sweet beautiful Caylee turned into the family princess, Casey was jealous of the attention and angry that her role had changed. For Casey, Caylee was a prop. Useful to manipulate people: she almost had Jesse G believing he was the father and marrying her. Useful to manipulate Cindy: Cindy knew Caylee was not really safe with Casey–why else would Cindy that first night of July 15, shout at Casey “what have you done?”. Lee tells how the two women are still fighting when the police arrive and have to be separated.

Something happened that Father’s Day that led Casey to discard Caylee as a prop. Caylee’s last usefulness was as a weapon pointed directly at Cindy. Casey’s anger and selfishness are close to unbelievable.

Maybe Cindy accused Casey of being like her father Georgette, the slacker and money wasting bad example of the family? The one who had problems finding/keeping jobs? Casey had put much effort into the appearance of success and normality. Her petty thefts made those lies unsustainable after Cindy put it all together. If Cindy made strong enough threats, it would appear that having Caylee was no longer useful in any way. Casey had just met Tony L and Tony wanted a boy, sometime in the future. Caylee wasn’t of much use in snaring Tony, to get away from dependence on Cindy. Unlike Jesse, Tony wasn’t even all that much into Casey as wife material, much less an unemployed liar with a small girl child.

Maybe Caylee herself said something to Cindy on June 15, maybe not. Cindy was the logical target of Casey’s anger, but since when do Anthony family values allow the real target to take the hit? Caylee took the force of Casey’s anger. Cindy, who should be furious at Casey, redirects her anger towards the media and us bloggers.

Whatever Cindy said or did, it was something Casey would not forgive. Casey moved on, avoiding and lying to Cindy only as much as Cindy could get her on the phone. Cindy was the one missing Caylee, not Casey. Casey had tears only for herself, not for her parents or for Caylee. In that Aug 14 video, Casey gives a nasty little smile when Cindy is crying. That video says it all: no anquish for a kidnapped child, no sympathy for devasted grandparents. She was willing to flirt with George only when he would talk about her and her needs. That line of Casey’s: “don’t worry, I haven’t told them anything”, said to Cindy, reads like a direct threat. That is when Cindy knew that the Anthonys were not a family united in the search for a missing child. Cindy and Casey were engaged in the same old war, and really, Casey had just won. Cindy just did not know for sure what it was Casey had done to keep Cindy from Caylee.

I would really really like to know what Cindy said to Casey in the fight on June 15. The only future book that might tell us, would be George’s, if he ever breaks free from Cindy’s domination and tells the whole truth. CIndy’s book will be useful only to the psychology types who want to learn how a narcissist can raise a sociopath willing to murder her own daughter.

Debidol, I don’t know what’s up with some of the WFTV videos, that used to be a reliable link for me ages ago, then in a previous discussion about it (think with Silverspooner’s great post about that), I could not see the video either.

It’s not working on either Safari nor Firefox and it probably isn’t pop-up blockers, as the full promo-AD runs perfectly, the flash of the video visual before the ad works, but then it literally ‘times out’ with only zero’s on the time meter. And you have to push ‘play’ which doesn’t do anything as it’s time is already up.

Frustrating– I had to opt for the YouTube videos.

NEED Iassen Donov’s LE audio Pt 2 (link anyone?)– the two parts are on cfnews13′s site, the first part runs through completely, the second part works but a couple minutes or so in, it shuts off, flips back to start and replays that short section in a loop. That problem can’t be just on my end, I’m using wmv to play it.

Re: Ricardo as ‘family man/husband material’. Yes, he liked the kid, yes, he cooked dinner for Casey and Caylee, yes, they sat on the couch, watched tv, movies, stayed in with the home entertainment drums etc, but remember what George said to prosecutors about Ricardo, that they didn’t know what HE knew?

Well, duh, George– listen to the early Ricardo interviews with police– we have not heard the FBI interviews, point one, we have heard about those FBI interview questions in the LE tapes, point two, we know that Ricardo was not willing, at that time, to give LE his computer (but he may well have supplied the FBI with a mirrored drive copy– we don’t know that), and Ricardo was not willing to answer certain questions on the record with LE about certain questions he discussed with the FBI.

Casey had a nice little use for Ricardo and I don’t have a clue what, but money and drugs could factor into Casey’s wants, and a safe, comfortable place to ‘live’ for a few nights per week out of ‘her house’. I think we are going to learn a lot more about Ricardo and his drug connections and what the FBI has to say and it’s going to get nasty from the defense– poor little good mom gets into bad-scene-no-fault-of-her-own.

Ricardo, could be a good ‘family man’ prospect except, in my humble opinion, if someone is doing things beyond abusing themselves with drugs and getting into the type of things that could send them to the penetentiary for stretches of time, what kind of ‘good father/husband’ material is that from child welfare perspective? Even if there is no hard drug use near children, no access to drugs in the home, and simply ‘outside business’, children left for years with a father in prison, can’t be the best husband or father.

Brain damage– we have discussed everything from psychopath/sociopath/narcissist/abused or not abused Casey, etc. We don’t have access to what is known, but we heard the state discuss with George and Cindy, details surrounding the birth of Casey, homelife etc. We ‘know for a fact under oath’ (source Cindy) that everything was normal with Casey’s birth, so couldn’t be related to that, if everything Cindy says is taken at face value. Not saying it is or isn’t, but has anyone evaluated Casey thoroughly– are certain physician egos playing a role, or are they going to do a thorough work-up on Casey, including neurological exams? And what other investigation tools are there, simple IQ test now, past records of the same, including school performances.

Cindy is so protective, she’s gone beyond protecting to harm her daughter– the set up is so obvious, maybe it will work, but the risk seems so high. And is part of Cindy’s fear now, that she will not have another ‘girl’ to continue the CMA line? Is it all or nothing– ‘get Casey home again’ or crash the Ambulance? Casey can not produce another child from jail, she could get married in jail if that’s allowed, we know that happens, she, in theory, could have a conjugal visit (that’s a bit of a stretch, no pun intended).

The Cindy lineage seems to be so important, and now that is gone, diluted from the core family which is Cindy’s own. Maybe the baby could not have been given up, or adopted by the grandparents, without revealing all– hopefully enough protections would be available to the adopted children in Florida, so that in a case like this, the grandparents would bring up the child to adulthood, not take the child away, give her back later, or use ‘I’ll give her back to you’ if you do such and such. It has to protect the child from an adoption based on this possibility for the future. (child=bartering goods)

This next thought is ‘out of the box’ territory, be warned– so I’m just going to put a couple points out, not for ‘real’ consideration, but remember, Casey seems to have been given a ‘birds and bees’ lesson about babies, and that was ‘you can’t get pregnant if you don’t have sex’. Casey repeated this in her denial of the pregancy, so she probably heard that ‘lesson’ from her parents and used it to support her lie about her condition. Also, another bit of information that Cindy’s depo gives, is an explanation about why Casey would call her ‘baby’ a tumour’. That seems outlandish, but there’s a possible source for this in Cindy’s own statements. Cindy mentioned that she was worried about Casey’s bleeding problems, (besides saying she knew she had periods therefore she didn’t suspect pregnancy, no reason to). Cindy said she was thinking maybe Casey, at a supposedly healthy 19 years of age, had fibroids (aka benign ‘tumours’). What would a concerned mother, a trained nurse, be thinking could be really going on or want to have checked out by a physician?

Could Casey have taken a pregnancy test early on? Could she have ‘googled’ ways to get rid of the pregnancy, if later she was looking up home-made chloroform recipies and instructions, it’s not a stretch to consider that she could have done the same for a much earlier solution to her problem.

    ‘Stupid boys’.

(that is the more reasonable possiblity of why Casey would deny the pregancy– she was going to get rid of it, if not, just ignore it so she didn’t have to face her mother, have a baby that would tie her down to the house and her parents… except that the father was alive and well during the pregnancy… picking up with him, had she told him, might be a possibility, if for nothing else but support, so she COULD leave the home, make her own decisions. The UNREASONABLE (off the wall) scenario is that the two women, joined together maternally, both named ‘Marie’ as part of their Christian names, were experiencing a pregnancy that was not only out of wedlock, but out of the realm of normal conception (no sex, remember, no hi-tech intervention either) and a female child was born to carry the name Marie– and the child was sacrificed– wow– Omen 3!!!. )

Casey was denying/lying the preg to mom, and mom carried on with that Casey story but why… covering a home-abort possibly? That might explain why no doctor check-up for an explanation of irregular bleeding problems, especially when Casey began to ‘show’– or, was there proper outside medical help, but not admitted by Cindy?

Could Casey have considered abortion and if too late, consider a ‘home remedy’?

  40. columbiares says:

During that Aug 14th jail visit- you can tell she thinks she’s supposed to being taught a lesson by being put in jail. It’s like she thinks because Cindy’s call put her in jail she can get her out of jail. “Okay- I get it mom (not!)- now let me out”. She doesn’t for a minute think she did anything wrong!

    It’s just amazing!

  41. Kleat says:

Q for Michelle Bart, if she believes the kidnapping and killing story, does she also believe that once she published that photograph of ‘Caylee’ in the Florida Mall, with implied great care to do so (whatever that means), that November 19th publication of a live Caylee three days prior, cause the phantom ‘nanny’ kidnapper to kill the child and dump the body near ‘home’ to pay someone back for going public about this? Does Michelle feel any responsiblity that she caused the Florida Mall ‘Caylee’ to meet her death?

And another question to Bart, your statement that ‘in your heart no one has come forward about the Florida Mall girl, what the heck does it mean, ‘no one in your heart has come forward’? Or is that just a sneaky way to imply that no one has come forward (at the time of that Dr. Phil show you were on early in 2009) without actually ‘lying’– technically anyway, by adding ‘in my heart’ to the statement?

O kleat I can see I am going to need to pay closer attention to this. That said, ask her how she GOT the photo. She should be glad nobody that was NOT MISSING a child came forward, I would sue her if she put out a picture of my kid without permission connected to this case. Makes me wonder if they already knew who it was?

Steadychick #273–Very well said. I couldn’t agree more. I think she considered killing Caylee for a long time and with Tony in the picture and a chance at “real happiness”, she decided to act on it. In her mind, this made perfect sense. What she didn’t think about, is that “normal” parents go NUTS when their child is missing. She blew the whole thing in that 31 days.

  45. Kleat says:

Soulsister, wow, but my first impression is that someone might have had reason to ‘dig up dirt’ on Roy Kronk, like they dug up dirt on Richard Grund, and anyone else– one more reason to silence Mr. Dominic Casey.

BTW, Blink– WHO do you think is paying for Ms. Tennis or any other lawyer/legal assistance on behalf of the PI? Really– the PI was hired by a law firm, the PI was hired by the Anthony’s, the PI was hired by the client of the same law firm/lawyer, and there are problems with protection orders and motions to dismiss and all that, to protect the lawyer’s client, and the clients of Mr. Casey.

Why on earth would it be the responsibility of a Private Investigator, to pay his own way in this issue which is going to great extremes to keep him completely and totally quiet? And if it is the position of the profession of Private Investigators, WHY aren’t we hearing from the professional association on this matter, in support of their member’s positions of right of privacy of all things, with clients?

  46. boz says:

Roy Kronk fired. Ray Charles could’ve seen that coming. Who’s next?

  47. suz says:

ddeerma, I think we can already tell that George’s book would be unreliable and rose colored. For instance, look how he most recently remembers his last moments with Caylee. It’s a lovefest, where he spends the ideal morning with a grandchild.

In the earlier statements, he saw or heard them eating breakfast, then saw them walk out the door at 10 to 1 (sounds more like odds than an exact time, lol).

In his latest recollection, I think HE makes breakfast for caylee, probably spends some quality time with her, walks them to the car, puts her in her little seat, exchangesI love yous, hears his last ‘jo jo.”

I’m going to say his memory is not going to be a reliable witness in this tragedy. He’s too close to it and too guilt ridden and too brainwashed by the others. I don’t think he quite knows what the truth is anymore.

  48. Shelly says:

After reading the depo’s of the three Anthony’s a second time, I have really been unable to really put the truth I found in them in written words. So many lies and distortions from what we have already read and heard with our own eyes and ears.

Early on I had realized that George knew Caylee was dead and Casey killed her. His words as he snuck down to the LE and ran his mouth hoping Lee and Cindy would not know he was doing so….along with the forensic report on the car. I mean detailing it to the point where only one fingerprint was found in the trunk? I think in George’s depo where he says he would sell his soul to the devil…tell’s a jury that he would and does also lie like hell to save his daughter from having to face responsibility for her actions.

What an example this family is teaching their children it’s ok to lie and steal and cover it up. I mean we all know Cindy’s “It was only one…..” (check, time, lie, murder?)! You know we’ve all said one of our big concerns is that Casey not be allowed out in society to reproduce. What about Lee giving Cindy and George another grandchild. What kind of example are all three of them setting for future little Anthony’s?

(And gimme a break! Cindy’s getting longterm disability (those insurance companies make you apply for Social Security benefits…..) and BABYSITTING a child! She can be qualified for disability for her mental state of not being capable of taking care of an adult patient…but is deemed mentally competent to take care of a child).

Any glimmer of hope that I held that this grandmother did not know her daughter killed her granddaughter and threw her into a stinking swamp is gone. Prosecutor’s so let her sink her own ship in letting her ramble on and on.

Silver, I did not catch her saying no one knew the blanket was gone…NO one but her and the killer. And the guy on the phone with visions or whatever. Such cold chills. Your expertise is amazing.

There are so many, what I call coincidences in all this…but, here’s some things I picked up from the depo’s that leave me wondering exactly what the defense does have.

The hair bleaching….you know that stuff they use to bleach your hair down to white and then put color on it? The defense seemed awfully interested in pinning down that Cindy did have that on hand.

The black garbage bags that those two pet carriers were in on that shelf in the garage. Wonder how long those exact bags had been there and if they are tied to the bag’s that Casey placed her babies body in? You know the one’s where Cindy immediately said one had holes in it and she would have never let a torn garbage bag be left on something?

I could go on and on, but let me ask if anyone can watch the video Blink has featured on this article and tell me…..did any of the older children in this video require 3 FREAKING pieces of 2 inch wide duct tape….9 FREAKING inches long….to cover their mouths? Three FREAKING rare strips of tape all tied directly back to the Anthony’s….

I don’t even think we need to hear the story those noisy maggots had to say as they fried away in George’s frying pan…….

Start at the beginning last year and forget all the speculation and all the mounds of stuff compiled in this case and the facts can be found that show each of us that our eyes, ears, and minds are functioning just fine. Cindy and George need to take a longer trip all alone and sit in a canyon and clear the BS outta their minds and face that they need to be down on their knee’s every chance they can be begging their daughter to not allow this to go to trial and let herself face a death penality.

They have had 3 grandchildren (if Casey actually miscarried)…all are not on this earth. Stand up George and Cindy and do the right thing for your unborn grandchildren God might send your way in future years…..

What a mess….IMO (as you all say)!

  49. Kleat says:

Blink, re: Bart, I think I might have said in an earlier post, that I wanted to know just who it was that took that photo and it may be simply someone who was putting what they have seen and heard about a missing child, related to the ‘butterfly- fly home soon’ T-shirts given out all over the region, to have coincidentally taken it on the same day by which there was ‘proof’ she was not in those woods. I’m convinced there is more to this in connection with the date it was taken.

The set up was that anyone in the public was likely to notice a child like this, hairstyle and butterfly t-shirt and all, take a photo on a ‘cell phone’, perfect– innocent ‘cellphonotographer’ (you heard THAT term here first!! ;) ). If the child was noticed by another person, then that person could promt a bystander with a cellphone camera, to take the picture– wow, that could be Caylee, ‘I dont’ have a camera, can you take a photo– report it to the Anthony’s, or Michelle Bart, here’s her email!!!! Lots of questions about this ‘scenario’ and it’s timing, who was ‘real’ and who was not.

If I were ‘that child’, I’d want to go after them myself if I had the ability and rights to do so! So bet it was a set up for an innocent link somewhere in the ‘chain’– easy in a crowded mall where a child is staying awhile in a play area. But coincidence? No… not buying that cheezeburger kiddy platter….

  50. boz says:

Shae, post 251: I haven’t seen anyone respond and am only doing so to try to help clerify. I am not defending Cindy Anthony, believe me, that ain’t happening.

In her email to Rick, she says, “Caylee’s hair is probably in in my trunk, did I killher?” She’s talking about her own vehicle, not the car with the smell and she might be right. Little Caylee’s hair could be in her trunk. I’m sure they put clothes and personal items in her trunk at times.

So that takes 8/11 out of the KNOWING little Caylee is gone. It’s probably 8/14 like Blink says.
