Orlando, FL– Where did we first hear the name Zach Hopkins in the case of missing and eventually found murdered 34 month old Caylee Anthony?
He was the non-existent son of Casey Anthony’s former schoolmate, Jeffrey Hopkins. He was the non-existent grandson of Jeff’s parents who got the phone call from the Anthony home about 5 AM July 16th, and follow up from brother Lee that he did not believe his sister.
The other Zach Hopkins, who is not a toddler, is in no way affiliated with this case, is an actor.
Zach appears in this Video created for Blue Fish TV and launched June 14, 2008 in honor of FATHERS DAY.
Yes, it says what you think. A duct tape instructional releases the day before father’s day, which is the last corroberated sighting of Caylee Anthony, starring a person with the misfortune of having the same name of an alleged witness in the investigation of her disappearance/ murder.

Before you reach for the foil hat: Blink what does this mean?
It means someone was doing hefty research on duct tape, the Hopkins name, or knew of this production or someone involved very close to the time frame Caylee went missing.
Personally, I am of the opinion between June 16th and July 15th Casey worked diligently to retro fit her story, or “google-fit” as it were.
Recall that Cindy sat in the lot of Universal on July 3rd while Casey allegedly gave her this story and proceeded to call Ryan Paysley and ask him if he knew Casey and Caylee were in town, to which he replied:
..”No, she told me Caylee was with you at the beach for the week..”
In theory then, that means the first time Cindy hears the names Jeff and Zach Hopkins are July 3rd.
Plenty of time for her to have seen this, and head back to the drawing board, and get her story down for her meeting with Detective Melich on July 15th.

I’m trying to wrap my head around the video theory. If Casey was indeed “google-fitting” her story for the 31 days, wouldn’t the computer forensic evidence show proof of the websites she visited and searches she performed; and wouldn’t that evidence have already been released to the public? Ahh, but as I type that, I remember we don’t get the privilege of seeing every piece of evidence, but regardless, I don’t see the need to keep these searches redacted if the searches involving One Tree Hill, shovel, chloroform, etc. have been released to the public. But I agree, it is a huge coincidence; figuring out how it fits, if at all, is the challenge for me.
That would imply for starters that they know and have access to all computers she used.

I’m still stuck on the darn scanner! I’m going to let it go now. Its just me, when I get something stuck in my head..I have to figure it out. I’m a Taurus..you know the Bull. lol.
I have asked around and several people do remember a scanner being mentioned in the A’s home. There is a video of a interview that greta van susteren did at there home. In the livingroom you can see an antenna that folks have been saying is def a scanner antenna.

I think Mallory knew her place long before Lee ever revealed it in his deposition. On that point though, I think Lee has a different perspective while alone with Mallory and away from Cindy. So maybe that is enough for her.

#352 Thanks for your reply Blink. From what I can gather from cell pings/timelines/depositions etc., we have a pretty good idea where she was and who she was with for the period after that video was uploaded.
Unless she searched from a public/shared computer… I did a search for Orlando Public libraries, http://www.ocls.info , and the main branch is located at 101 E. Central Blvd, Orlando; however, there are a total of 14 locations in Orange County. The main branch is 4 blocks east of I-4 and about 5 blocks south of Colonial Drive E. Would this location be in the same cell-ping circle as anyone else’s home – the Anthony home, TonE, Lee? Could she have been at the library using a computer and pinging the same tower as if she were at someone’s home?

A “Private Investigator” would likely have a scanner.
Or one can use their computer and listen on-line to OCSO. Back in August (11-13) 2008, I believe it would have been the OCSO dispatcher and officers(deputies)/cars communicating back and forth with each other, responding to locations like Suburban Drive.

I believe it was $20,000.00 for this one (I am not sure if that was a down payment or what). Funny thing, to them, the death of their granddaughter has been a real blessing. Prior to this, they were in default on their mortgage.. now their house has been mysteriously paid off and they don’t work.. Caylee is their mealticket.
OH I am clarifying I seen it elsewhere dont know how true it is but I just thought it was rather interesting.
Just a thought about the duct tape over caylee’s mouth. I think the duct tape was not just over her mouth i think it covered her nose to and that is how she killed her. By suffocation. A child her size a peice of tape could have easily covered the nose to. Then there would be no way to prove how she died. becouse of the decomp. Thats why they left her out there in the woods so long so all the evidence would be gone from the elements of the weather. They are all very sick people who should be held acountable for their actions. God will hold them all acountable some day.

Something is just not right with the “scanner theory” .This may be long winded but bear with me and see if you see what I see.The A’s and Thier PI’s had to have found out some other way -Every media outlet would have been there just in case something were to go down .Media monitor police scanners all the time to be first at the scene of breaking news. The County Utilities would have used a different frequency than OCSO.I worked as a police dispatcher for years.Fire,ambulance,utilities and police are all on separate channels.On the police scanner you will hear the calls going out to police but you will not hear the dispatch to fire or ambulance itself ,only that they have been dispatched to a call (unless you find and program each separate frequency into your home police scanner).For example:Say there was report of smoke coming from a building and I needed to get ahold of the fire dept for emergency assistance ,I had access to all services and would contact them on thier channel to relay info,I would also dispatch the patrol car covering that area and you would hear something like…control to unit 4311 copy a report of smoke coming from a residence at 123 any st ,nearest cross street main st . Caller stated unsure if anyone is in the residence at this time. Blue , single family,2 story on west side of street.Fire control has been notified.0530 hrs.My big hang upon this theory is that Dominic Casey was there 3 months after Kronks call.I can’t find the call that went out to Cain on 08/13 but my guess is that he cleared it as unfounded and that no specific information was relayed in that call as to where exactly and what exactly was found. You could however read both the complaintant’s and the responding officer’s descriptive statements on an incident report following the call…if you worked for the department or had a copy somehow. What were the Ants and all thier peoples doing during those 3 months? Wouldn’t they have had the time to find Caylee and hide her somewhere else? Why would DC involve Hoover months later – in broad daylight no less? Any thoughts? Help !

Blink, all, good morning! I have a couple of questions that I don’t see, just skimming through due to time constraints, today, in particular Blink, can you tie this all in with Keith Williams and the bag/balloon etc. he found in the woods back in August, a mere 60 feet from where Caylee’s remains were found? Didn’t he present this bag to Cindy, like around the 14th? And didn’t she deny that the items he presented belonged to Caylee, refused the bag and sent him on his way? Wasn’t this bag deteriorated, to the point that roots were growing through it as were growing through the bags containing Caylee’s remains? Wasn’t Cain fired over his failure to take Williams and the items seriously? (Sorry, there’s more). Could it be possible that Casey’s fingerprints are on some of these items that Williams retrieved? Perhaps the Father’s Day balloon? Could Cindy have dumped these items herself, fully knowing that Caylee was out there, and attempting to get rid of more evidences? Could DC have been out there looking for items that the Anthony’s had planted in an attempt to exonerate Casey? We do not know what all was in that car prior to Cindy and George getting their hands on it!
Cindy knew when Keith presented her with the bag that Caylee was dead. Of this I have no doubt. I’ve much more to say but have to get ready for our daughter’s bridal shower. It will be late, by the time I get back to this. Y’all be safe. Especially those in Florida! Two near abductions reported, here, yesterday. The perpetrator is still at large.

#367 I’m curious to know if this was a scanner or a weather radio, as in NOAA. Some of them resemble scanners. This is Florida and it’s not uncommon during hurricane season to have one handy. I use ours to monitor nationally — ie the storms that recently struck and flooded parts of Georgia, where we have friends and family. Just a thought.

Marcy, I noticed that too, and I reaized that Cindy’s caught in a unique position. She wants to stick to the “Casey’s a wonderful mother” script, but at the same time, it’s equally, or more, important that she ensure that everyone knows just how much Cindy did. Even in her “heartfelt” plea on myspace, she makes sure to get in the old “I paid for everything” bit. What to do what to do….
everyone must know how much I did for “that child.”

The scanner might not have included RK’s live calls if he used a cell phone in August. Would you agree a scanner in Florida pick ups the dispatching and responding LE communications per “the caller”, before reaching the location, after checking the location, and even during the investigating of a location for requesting clarification or further information? If the scanner was on a private frequency for all Caylee-related communications, any idea if a licensed Private Investigator would have access to that frequency?
As far as DC, we know he was on Suburban in November because of Hoover making his tapes known. We have not been privy, however, to any prior or subsequent trips (if there were any) to Suburban by anyone associated with or close to the defense or the A’s.
In the new RK post, I’ve posted (# 128 and 131 – numbers may have changed) a link with 2 LE interview documents regarding August 11-13, 2008 that may be of interest to you.

I can tell you I have personally confirmed OCSO is NOT on a scrambled frequency to this day. Neither is “county”.
OPD is, but if you can believe it, the media still has access and can monitor it to keep everyone honest.
That said, anyone could have heard either Williams dispatch or Kronks.

Blink, I never even realized there was radio contact between the utility guys. Very, very good point right back to you.
As far as the media and racyrin’s comments, I don’t know what their protocol is in responding to scanner communications. The August 11-13 calls were “cleared” by the responding Deputies, so perhaps that had some bearing.
Blink, one of the interviewed female officers who responded during August 11-13, may have been the same female Deputy AA responding officer at the A’s residence in July, who went to high school with LA (her first name is confirmed by LA is his State deposition as being at the house July 15, along with the comment of attending same high school). Don’t know if it particularly means anything, other than Suburban and Hopespring are within her assigned area.
Deputy RC worked off-duty patrolling up and down Hopespring for the A’s home shortly after December 11, which is also part of his assigned area (in addition to being the deputy who, August 14(?) debunked Williams’ findings).
In regards to Williams and his found bag that he presented to CA, if CA thought it to be Caylee’s items, would she have kept that to herself or shared it with someone?
Actually WPG, the accompanying deputy to Cain for the Kronk call on the 13th is Kethlin Cutcher. She really did not see anything but Cain coming out of the woodline though.
Interestingly, and this has always bothered me, when Cain was interviewed BOTH times by OCSO. He states there were no other calls to that site, excluding or forgetting Williams. I would be willing to cut this guy a “measure” of slack,
HAD HE called OCSO, JA or YM in particular, after Caylee was found to discuss the incident.
The restraint JA showed in that interview by not asking him if he was a complete effing moron astounds me to this day.
Instead, being the gentlemen they are.. he got off easy, he just fell on his ass and had to admit it.

Yes I believe in Cains depo he says the call came out as a code 56. I believe that code to be a “meet at” code. Cain says he found a bag and when he lifted it leaves and sticks fell out of the bag. He says he cleared the call and relayed info to the tip line and sent an email. What is with this Cain anyways- he was at Williams call and dismissed that also. You would think that even a lazy cop would have put more effort into calls regarding the caylee anthony case – they were sure to be scrutinized by investigators…Say DC heard it all -or the info was learned from the tip line. In those 3 months they were doing something to locate the remains right? I guess I will find out what dosn’t sit right with me when DC gives another depo.Can’t put my finger on it.Thanks – I always run here to Blinks site to see different points of view as well as Blink’s insightful responses -my husband says I am ocd about this case!

Thank you, I did not know Kethlin was a female name. So Deputy KC arrived in a separate 2nd vehicle when she sees Cain emerging from the woods. A bit of RK’s recollections are a little different from some bits of the recollections of the 4 deputies, and not unexpected, but I found Deputy AA’s to be a little confusing. I take it then, she heard the radio transmission on the 13th, but did not respond to the scene. I agree in the amount of restraint shown by JA, but then again, that’s what makes a JA. Same for YM and Linda DB.

The heard or recorded dispatch/deputy communications might offer more details like Code 56 at the Suburban address or location, or “caller reporting suspicious bag” perhaps.
In regards to DC, I guess some of the things that need to be determined are who was he contractually working for at what times, the validity of any contracts, all or any existing privilege, and who did he possibly share any “work product” with that was not bound within any signed, active contract (I’m confusing myself). If I recall, he has been ordered to produce those signed, dated contracts by the Judge in the civil case. It will be interesting how his upcoming deposition(s) will play out.

Just a thought…sticking to the ‘mother of the year script’ wouldn’t just be for Casey’s benefit. I’m thinking Cindy may feel that Casey’s failure is her own failure. ‘Reflection’ if you will. IMHO, I think Cindy is making this more about herself than Casey.
I am being treated for depression, social anxiety and OCD. I’ve lost a lot of friends and family in the process of healing. These were people I thought would stick by me through thick and thin but WHOA! They don’t wanna catch what I have. It took my therapist to make me realize that by getting help and dealing with my ‘problems’ isn’t going to make a lot of people very comfortable. As I’m facing my inner demons and understanding my anger, resentment and abandonment issues, everyone else is turning the other way like nothing is/was ever wrong. As Dr. Phil would say, you cannot change what you do not acknowledge. For some, it’s easier to make excuses, live in denial, brush it under the carpet or turn the other way. They do not want to deal with it, end of story. I’ve become the poster child in my family as the screwed up one. In the meantime, I observe their anger and resentment, outbursts and lack of control with feelings along with inappropriate reactions to partiuclar situations. I see my former self in them but they will not look back at the mirror. God forbid what it would reveal! If you were to ask them, they’re nothing like me. I hope this is making sense. I’m trying to provide some insight into Cindy’s possible state of mind.
Cindy and her comments/denial about Casey being a great mother are really statements about herself. If Cindy were EVER to admit Casey has severe psychological problems, that would mean acknowledging the same within her. Whether it’s learned behaviour or an actual genetic mental illness, it still means Cindy is covering her own tracks along with as Casey’s. Does this make any sense? I don’t think Cindy even wants to consider she is not mother of the year herself. Every family has it’s dysfunctions. I thought my family was the exception. It was a horrible truth to face when I realized abuse existed in my family. No surprise since my dad was severely physically abused while my mother was emotional abused. I’m relating my experiences and realizations to Cindy. She’s in a HUGE form of denial and is no where near ready to accept it or take responsibility for it. As long as Cindy continues with her rants claiming this is a sham of a case and Casey is being persecuted, she doesn’t need to look within herself and own the truth. As Casey would say, Cindy is a victim too.
SIDE NOTE: As part of my therapy, I needed to confront my mother with my pain and anger. I was met with denial and resentment for even considering things weren’t ‘normal’. Instead, she threw the martyr angle at me and made it about her. The Anthony’s are not much different than my own family.
PS. I need to clairfy that in my family, all grandchilden are happy, healthy and well loved. I am proud to say that we were also raised to be accountable, responsible and always do our very best. Family traditions and values, despite dysfunctions, are nurturued and embraced deeply. We also have a deep faith in God. If Caylee were a part of my family, she would have been cherished, loved and protected from the horrible fate she suffered.

I wanted to ask about this too!!! I have read on a couple of other sites that the Anthony’s have moved out of their Hopespring house. If this is true, I’m curious to know what kind of spread they purchased for themselves that was paid with Caylee’s blood. Yes, I am speculating but I will admit if I learn that they have ‘moved on up to the east side’ like the Jeffersons, I will lost it!

#376 I have always thought that may be Casey was a victim of sexual abuse making her the little sociopath she is today. Recently, I think it’s Cindy who has the most problems. Being the only girl in the family of boys, maybe she is the victim of that abuse. It would explain her control issues, OCD and treatment of George.

#382. My gut tells me it isn’t about sexual abuse, but I wouldn’t bet on it. Casey demonstrates the need (and natural ability) to lie, embellish and fabricate. She was certainly promiscuous but to what extent compared with victims of sexual abuse? I have no clue Casey’s traits are results of sexual abuse. I am certainly not qualified to diagnose her. So much needs to be factored in. Was Cindy ever exposed to sexual abuse? Was George? Whatever the ‘dysfunction’ is, it has a generational right of passage until it is identified and destroyed. That kind of information could certainly shed more light on why Casey is ‘karma chameleon’. It’s also hard to determine if the behaviour Casey showed was learned or psychological. That I can’t stress enough. It takes far more assessment and analysis of her situation to ever draw a complete conclusion about why she is the way she is. In fact, I do hope she is getting some kind of treatment so a diagnosis can be made. So many theories and possibilities present themselves to me, it is almost overwhelming. Casey is definitely sick. Why and where it originated is the big question. If we could expose Casey’s demon and it’s origin, we would probably learn why Caylee is no longer with us.

I keep reflecting on the high 5′ with him and Casey and all the inappropiate laughter. They all have major issues all begun with Cindy! No updates or nothing new on this case. I myself feel ocd with this case. Probably because in thinking about the dynamics of this case!! I’ve never seen a family of a murdered granchild!!

When I seen my grandchildren ‘s holloween outfit’s I thought of caylee. Christmas is coming and there will be no pics of caylee with Santa!! It’s all just too sad. Once this trial is over! Hopefully the anthony’s and their attornys will fade out of sight!! I am tired of Baez and the anthony’s lusting for media attention!!

oh thinker that is totaly disgusting !!!! I just dont know what to say without getting blink upset with me so I will just puke!!!! I am so sickened and sad for caylee. I can imagine casey is in a rage. I am sure that they are drinking it up with mallory and lee!!!

Thanks for posting that. I was kinda feeling bad for even discussing the possibility of Cindy and George having tattoos. Now,not so much.
There is nothing wrong in having tattoos. Why lie during your deposition about being a tattoo type of person, though? These people really don’t make any sense.
someone has said the tattoos “might” be temporary type you can get on a cruise?????

it’s just not the tatooes it’s their behaviour in all. it’s total disrespectful to little caylees memory. they have prospered tremendously from little caylees death. they have virtualy no integrity or respect for themselves. I just hope that there will be enough media saturation to cause major harm to their their credibility! far and wide. can you imagine caseys rage in jail when she finds out or has already found out that her mom and dad and brother are now living the good life!! all because of her!! hell this may be enough to cause her to wanna throw them all under the bus!!! hell they just put a measley 50.00 on her books!!! but spent hundreds on themselves having a good old time with lee and mallory!! like I have said before and will continue to say!!
I have never seen any other case where: grandparents/parents have prospered from a childs death!! selling pictures of caylees and anything they think will make them lots of money. I would think its just as easy to work but I guess they are even playing that up to the hilt!disability sure is being played there is no stress leave its a stress free new life with no more finalcial woe’s.
I think many folks tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but quicly realized that they were playing on peoples sympathy to help caseys cause. they are doing her more damage and if the real truth be known! it’s possible that they dont even care. I dont realy think they want her free. they just want her to do life not the needle that will ease their guilt and they can go on with the good life. more cruises more BEAUTIFUL LIFE.
