I want to know what Cindy was alluding to with her unsolicited comment about Jim Hoover telling her in Brad’s office, about a snake he saw.
Was she saying this was the same Kronk and crew snake, and if so, what did Jim Hoover have to do with the situation– is Cindy alluding to something to connect Hoover with the crime scene early on?
Momof3, Casey even told her mother that she told the exact same thing to everyone she talked to, and of course, no one paid attention enough to listen to what Casey was telling them. (lies in triplicate, quadruplicate)
I wonder if Cindy’s parenting philosophy followed the premise that the child is an equal partner, as a ‘best friend’. Where discussion and reason take the place of set boundaries and consequences as a form of discipline? Cindy talked about Casey as her ‘best friend’, always a phone chat on Cindy’s way home from work, to pass the time on the drive. Cindy might find it easier to not believe that her best friend would betray her, or do anything that would cause her worry, distress.
When there are two parents, one is always taking the lead ‘to handle things’ such as problems with Casey– there is no united front with the parents supporting each other, it is almost one parent supporting the child’s position over the other parent (ie: George can leave, Casey and baby will stay regardless of what he decides to do). And a betrayal of the second parent, with no support for their role over and above the child, the ‘adult’ father not being provided with the rank of the son, who takes on a role of a certain ‘provider’ in the family– almost to replace the need of two parents. (except having George be a ‘parent’ role for Caylee, would certainly help in the couple’s application to adopt Caylee, had that option been seriously considered.)
# 001 Kleat. Casey and Cindy = symbiotic relationship. George intimated to LE that the gals shared power of the throne. But why do I think that after all is said and done and Casey is out of the picture for good (one way or another) Cindy might actually be happy and begin to “live”, as they say dramatically in the movies? Cindy’s not doing a bad job of it, right now. I wouldn’t expect George to be around Cindy for long, however. His job would be done.
Kleat,
Yes. I believe this is exactly how Cindy wanted things. I think she long ago put George in his place and there she kept him. The man obviously enjoyed his life in LE and tried to get back in it only to be told absolutely not.
I think you are correct in every point you made. How sad. They still carry on in this way knowing that their family dynamic in some ways played apart in what happened to innocent little Caylee.
I think that you are right in making this a page 2 (or more) story. I will be interested to see how the defense and the Anthonys will attempt to maintain interest in their spin, like the BS support of Kronk.
If you haven’t read Valhall’s latest, it makes for some great reading. For instance, the Jay Blanchard Park story was brainstormed while Casey was in jail, as per George’s deposition. AND on June 16, Zanny kidnapped Caylee in the Ford Focus that Casey said Zanny’s stepfather bought her AFTER her wreck in Tampa on June 23.
ada, EXCELLENT point about the Ford focus. That is funny.
As for the story falling to page 2, lol, I reckon it will rocket back up to the top the next time we get a doc dump or when some other news is released. Seems to always be something going on with casey’s cases, whereas the Haleigh Cummings thing sure went quiet….wonder what’s up with that. Just yesterday I was wondering:
Where’s Haleigh?
Where’s Morgan?
Where’s Christine Sheddy?
Where’s the Blairsville, GA woman abducted while on her cellphone?
Where’s Tracy Ocasio?
Who killed Nevaeh?
Who killed Somer?
Momof3 and Kleat
Good points about the parenting balance of power in that house. Cindy has the most warped definition of being supportive of one’s child I have ever heard. There is absolutely no logic to anything she says in regard to this. And with her being the main breadwinner in the family and being the one who “ruled the roost”, she was able to keep George from using his head in dealing with Casey. My mother in law (also controlling, but nowhere on a Cindy level) has a saying that she is quite fond of – “She who makes the gold makes the rules”. Sounds familiar!
Mr. Morgan’s question to Jim Hoover, if he ever met Roy Kronk, sounded as if Mr. Morgan knew the answer, maybe he did not. But he asked it twice, and then Jim Hoover ‘waived’ vs ‘read’ his deposition.
What will Mr. Kronk say to that same question, I wonder.
I think Kronk was “bounty hunting” on company (The County’s) time. He knew that wasn’t going to look good so he tried to remain anonymous in the first calls (honestly, I don’t think he was really sure at that point anyhow). Once that didn’t work, he tried the “oh just county worker doing my job and then going into the woods to urinate” route. (uhh… public urination? that’s not smart either). He, like many others, knew it was worth searching those woods. Looking on company time made it look like he just happened to be there while working. Just a coincidence. Being there looking on his own time (which would have been better IMO) may have made him look more suspicious and possibly looking trespassing charges if he was going on private property.
I’m thankful he found Caylee’s body and wish he would have found it much sooner. Can’t wait to read his deposition and everyone’s thoughts.
does anyone know when Mallory’s depo will be out to read? Interesting no doubt. it WAS strange I thought that she had not been interviewed by le. any ideas on why le didnt? just some general thoughta and questions. thanks
LuLu, ‘bounty hunting’ for what? There was no reward for finding the child’s remains, the reward was to help bring Caylee home safely alive, not dead.

Morning all-
Blink – I know this is off-topic but have you seen the National Inquirer’s latest report on Caylee Anthony?
They are reporting an eye witness to the murder of Caylee by Casey.
I know the paper’s rep but they have been acurate at times.
Very interesting.
LuLu, there will not be a release of the deposition, unless the defense wishes to make it public, so far, there have been no depositions released that the defense has taken. Nothing that says they must be made public.

Nicole Harris,
Loved your summation: “She who makes the gold makes the rules”. This is why I believe George’s work history or lack there of never was a big to do with Cindy she loved being the bread winner. It allowed her the throne and also the victim/hero status when talking to her children and to her family/friends.
Didn’t we hear that the man who joined the defense team as a collegue of Ms. Lyons, was a ‘para-legal’? That is not a lawyer, not someone who could give legal advice to a client or anyone else.
Turns out there’s a new version of who this person is and what his role includes:
“A new member of the defense team was seen entering the courtroom on Thursday. Mort Smith is a Chicago-based private investigator who teaches at DePaul University, the same school where fellow defense team member Andrea Lyon teaches.
Smith has been digging into Kronk’s personal life for the past several months in an effort to uncover information that might discredit the former meter reader, or at least cast doubt on his story of how he found Caylee.”
From http://www.clickorlando.com today’s headlines
Mr. Smith has been spending his time contacting members of TES for months. So much for the hands off approach by Mr. Conway.
B
Kronk should never have made the call– not the first one, not the second, or third. He should have kept quiet. Look what he is going through. The family cares about him doing this and are grateful, not to have their Caylee found, but to use him once trial comes. To say otherwise, is a purposeful misdirection, Blink is right. Why would the Anthony’s care to protect Kronk, they did the same to Jesse Grund, his father, to Amy. I can’t imagine what Amy will have to endure in this, as an early ‘person of interest’ implied multiple times in the national media and directly in the released FBI and other interviews.
(of course, when it comes down to it, there are reasons that a person ‘makes the call’ and risks all)
Momof3, now THAT sounds like a perfect reason that the jury will need to hear from Casey herself.
It’s one thing to do the best to protect your client or daughter, but to purposefully go out to destroy other people’s lives is abhorrent.
The Anthonys were never concerned about Roy Kronk. Conway’s statements have other purposes: #1 they begin with the supposition that Kronk hasn’t told a complete and honest story, “They want him to be full and complete about what happened,” Conway said, and #2 They get to remind everyone how victimized the Anthonys are, “They have been vilified unfairly. They know what it’s like to be under a microscope unfairly and they don’t want that to happen to someone who found their granddaughter,” attorney Brad Conway said.
How about saying they are grateful to him? Did they thank him? Why wasn’t that included in a statement? Because if they demonstrate gratitude, that may go counter to the defense throwing Kronk under the bus, and helping their daughter. Also, have the Anthonys told a full and complete account of what happened?
CLIPPED QUOTE FROM Kleat:
“Smith has been digging into Kronk’s personal life for the past several months in an effort to uncover information that might discredit the former meter reader, or at least cast doubt on his story of how he found Caylee.”
I hope they all remember: What comes around goes around.
WSH – 4:01p.m. –
At least, through Conway, they are admitting that it IS their granddaughter that Kronk found.
What a wild ride Kronk has had and it is just beginning.
WSH……yes, life does run full circle, doesn’t it?
Justice for Caylee Marie Anthony
Clickorlando also says that Mort Smith was a part of the defense team ‘seen for the first time ever today’. Right– where have the WDBO reporters been??
Smith was seated, invited to be seated, in a chair behind the defense table inside the bar (that’s the term for it, isn’t it?), about two hearings ago (the one with Todd Mac at the table). And last hearing also– he’s been seen before.
How do the Anthony’s square their ‘fact’ that Caylee is still alive with Kronk finding a body that mysteriously fits the description of the child well (except for the number of teeth Caylee had was different from the number this child had, total)? And how did Dr. G. and her team become so fooled when they could have checked their results before publishing anything, to see if Cindy agreed this was 100%, no error margin, Caylee’s body?
Snark alert…
George and Cindy Anthony are showing support for Roy Kronk — a development that WESH-Channel 2 reporter Bob Kealing found surprising.
Kronk found the remains of Caylee Anthony in December. Casey Anthony, George and Cindy’s daughter, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of her daughter, Caylee. Casey Anthony’s attorneys will question Kronk on Thursday.
“There’s a question will Casey’s defense somehow try to discredit Roy Kronk,” Kealing said in a report this afternoon. “Sources tell WESH2 her defense has had a private investigator doing a lot of digging and asking a lot of questions about Kronk and his past.
Yet Brad Conway, the attorney for George and Cindy Anthony, told WESH they want the truth rather than dirt about Kronk.
“They have been vilified unjustly,” Conway said of his clients. “They know what it’s like to live under a microscope unfairly. And they don’t want that to occur to somebody who found their granddaughter.”
News! New motion filed late this evening wkmg (6) “Kronk could
have killed Caylee Anthony” this is so sad
Kronk’s attorney, David Evans, issued a news release Thursday evening stating his client is a witness, not a suspect.
“Shortly after adjourning the deposition, the Anthony defense team filed a Motion, Memorandum of Law, and accompanying materials suggesting that Roy Kronk, the individual who found Caylee Anthony’s remains and repeatedly reported his find to law enforcement agencies, should be considered a suspect in the murder of Caylee Anthony,” Evans said. “He voluntarily appeared today and truthfully responded to all questions asked by Anthony’s attorney. He has cooperated fully with law enforcement from Day One. He has nothing to hide, and has hidden nothing.”
Evans said Kronk has always understood he may become a target of the defense.
“In their zeal to defend Casey Anthony, defense counsel has filed papers with the Court that are filled with allegations that have no basis in fact and falsely accuse Mr. Kronk of various types of bad behavior,” Evans said. “The State will respond to these papers in due course in the criminal proceedings. As for Mr. Kronk, he vehemently denies the allegations against him and is confident that he will be vindicated. In the meantime, as he stated early on in this case, no good deed goes unpunished.”
I bloody don’t believe this. Why would Mr. Kronk kill Caylee? How awful for the man. Even if he had a not too nice past, can you believe that they would file a motion. No wonder Mr. Conway was released that statement yesterday, he knew what was coming down the road. Disgusting!
So Roy Kronk is Zanny. I thought that I couldn’t be any sickened by Casey Anthony and her defense and family. I was wrong.
any more sickened
I now understand how the Anthonys could be so generous in their assessment of Mr. Kronk. They knew what Baez had planned. I wonder how the defense will explain Mr. Kronk’s willingness to report finding the body to police. Casey never even reported her missing. I guess Jesse Grund is safe for a while.
How did Kronk get Caylee’s body in Casey’s trunk? Kronk said on one of the broadcasts that they were very nice and respectful of him. Then they turn around and file that motion, which I’m sure was prepared in advance. After this is all over, I hope he sues the pants for defamation of character. Baez and his team are nuts. No proof whatsoever. If Kronk “Zenaida”? Come on, give me a break and it’s still not over as apparently he will have to go back for more. Sneaky bunch of b….. IMO.
Sorry Blink, but I’m just so frustrated with these people. Finished ranting for the night.
I seriously don’t see how Baez has any credibility left after his multi-person accusations. First, there was the “nanny”. Since that was eventually called out and proven a lie, then they switched to Jesse Grund. Haven’t they been through about 5 or 6 by now? If there is anyone actually going to listen to Baez and his 7th impossible culprit, they don’t belong anywhere near a ballot box, let alone receiving a jury notice.
Yep, motions filed to treat Kronk as a suspect. If he did it, his client didn’t, they can bring up all that ‘past’ as bad acts.
Looks like Mr. Smith Goes to Orlando is not going to have a nice ending for someone.
No wonder Brad said publicly, what he did, because his clients are going to be viewed in all this as villains once again.
http://www.wesh.com/news/21661209/detail.html
‘His attorney, David Evans, said in a news release: “In their zeal to defend Casey Anthony, defense counsel has filed papers with the Court that are filled with allegations that have no basis in fact and falsely accuse Mr. Kronk of various types of bad behavior.” …
The new motion includes information collected from Knonk’s two ex-wives as well as others who know Kronk.
The motions asks the court to allow “evidence indicating”:
“Mr. Kronk’s possible history of inappropriate behavior with young girls.”
“That Mr. Kronk has a history of abusing, restraining, and holding women against their will.”
“That Mr. Kronk has, in the past, used duct tape for the purposes of restraining women against their will.”
Before the motion was filed, an attorney for Kronk said there are some things in Kronk’s past that he isn’t proud of, but those things have nothing to do with his finding of Caylee’s remains. The attorney said his client has always been honest about finding the missing toddler and how he made the discovery.’
Now, what theories will come out to show that Kronk was set up to be in the ‘right place’ at the wrong time, like at the snake. And can he be implied to the Disney bag of needle and syringe, testosterone and chloroform, perhaps part of the set up too, placed to indicate someone else.
What happened to the someone else did it, but we were in the woods and proved no body was there, had to happen AFTER Oct 14th– I guess Kronk was still ‘available’ for that set up (ie: in Orlando).
Theories could also fly that Cindy and PI did a lot more than just find bones, they might have planted supportive evidence to help Casey.
NOTE: “possible” history …
Today’s news makes it a certain level of success– if people read fast and skip that word.
Talk about a grieved ex to get pay back!
And Mr. NeJame gave the man 5 grand out of his own pocket– what is the defense going to make of this?
Could Brad Conway’s statements about this treatment of Kronk, be aimed at mitigating damage to his own clients, in their role and attitudes to burning anyone in their way as they hired their own PI to do damage control for Casey?
Ok – so they can have Conway make them look reasonable on the one hand and then let the other half of their “team” do the dirty work. I don’t buy for one second that the Anthonys want the truth or that they don’t want an innocent person to be “unjustly villified”. The two party system they have going on is sure interesting to watch. Nauseating too.
claudkn
I am in total shock! how far wl the defense go to try to exonerate the real killer! they have tried to throw everyone under the bus since day1! this is totaly outragious proposterous ludacrest etc etc. I am so disgusted with baez as far as I am concerned he has been totaly off the hook unstable desperate to make a name for himself thinking that he is going to get casey off!! what next and he will live happily ever after with her!! geez what a mess he has made. ok rant’s over what do you all think
blink help!!!
whats your take blink!!
SORRY
meant to say how far will
we all know kronk didnt do it casey did!!!
I LOATHE BAEZ
where is DNA to show he did what have they got come on this has gone to far!!! he keeps filing motion after motion!! stupid motions at that.
Ok– doesn’t this mean that Casey Anthony needs to take the stand (or now, speak up) to take responsiblity for how Caylee got into Roy Kronk’s hands? Or was it the ‘open gate’– oops, let’s blame George?
No wonder Baez was so nice today to Kronk– giving him a false impression of what was to come, once they got his confidence, everything nice, it came time to reveal all. No wonder Lyon and her troop were all there in person, they were using today’s depo to do a final check and countdown to the big reveal (that obviously, Brad, Cindy and George all knew about)
http://www.clickorlando.com/video/21669017/index.html
Was the August call by Kronk, just to set up his alibi, according to this theory? Was Cain in on it by doing his part to not go look further? Is this why the snake is SO darned important on another early visit to the ‘future’ crime scene because it caused the other men to know why they were there (the alibi) but to be distracted, ‘big snake’ time and to never look to find what Kronk was talking about?
Richard Grund can now take a big sigh of relief, they have someone more believable and mainstream, to target.

This crap makes me so angry, it makes me want to put a pox on someone.
How did the smell get in Casey’s car? And why would she protect Kronk? How is he connected to the underworld people? Yeah, just totally annihilate this guy’s life.
This is such a douche move and it will come back to haunt them. Sorry for the language, but it is now acceptable on TV and there is no other word that would more sufficiently describes this action.
1026.
more sufficiently describe this action.
(correction)
So I guess now, instead of the phantom “nanny” giving Casey an instruction manual of what to do in that 31 days, which oddly enough included the demand for her to go clubbing in that time frame, it was Kronk telling her to lie to police, lead her on a wild goose chase through universal, etc.
#745 Westside, thanks for expounding on that. I thought I would die laughing when Mouse wrote that. Thanks you TWO, haven’t laughed like that in a long time.
OK I need to vent!!!! HERE I GO!!!
Let me say this !!
maybe baez needs a background check done on him. From past girlfriends to wifes. His bills his everything every move he has ever made!! All his life put under a microscope!! I am sure we could find alot out!! everyone has skeletons in their closets. give him some of his own meds. I am so sick of him filing all these dumb motions. I mean for him to quit ruining peoples reputations and lives. He did this to the zanieda that is even the nanny never was.
how about the Coffin flies in caseys trunk? how about the 31 days not reporting! how about all the lies she told the detectives! taking them on a wild goose chase. geez enough is enough with baez and his motions. lord please lets get this trial underway get this woman put where she belongs. DEATH ROW. give caylee her justice she so deserves. Dry up the money train for baez and the anthonys.
thank you
AMEN!!!
Son of Sam– yeah, if they swing the reasonable doubt, they’ll ruin more lives and live the high life along with client Casey for the rest of their careers– big money in getting Casey clear to take full advantage of the Kill- Caylee-4- Cash movie and book deals. Imagine, Casey would be their marketable commodity.
Ok, WESH put up a survey to ask “Do you agree that Kronk should be considered a suspect?”
YES, 31 votes for 9%
NO, 303 votes for 91%
10 percent of a jury of what, 12 people? Defense is getting close to it’s reasonable doubt, if this poll is representative of the jury pool. Then the defense can hone that with it’s jury selection to those they favour, and they’ve got their job done.
Wonder what the poll would show if they did this with Richard Grund, or Jesse Grund, or the woman Zenaida Fernandez Rodriguez in Puerto Rico that is still being watched by the Anthony’s investigators, or Amy and Ricardo, the roommate duo who live in Zanny’s apartment with the drum.
Let’s all go vote (aka make our views known to support Mr. Kronk– http://www.wesh.com/news/21661209/detail.html
(bet Cindy is wearing out her little fingers voting on that tonight)
