Caylee/Casey Anthony Case: New Discovery Released

Orlando, FL– The State Attorney’s Office is set to release 1000 additional pages of discovery this morning of previously unseen evidence in the case against Casey Anthony for the murder of her daughter, Caylee Marie.

Sources within the SA’s office speaking on the condition of anonymity to blinkoncrime.com say the new information is largely FBI reports.

The release comes on the heels of new motions  filed by the defense this week.

Jose Baez and Andrea Lyon, defense counsel for Casey Anthony filed a motion alleging double jeopardy violation  in the upcoming fraud case, a reply to the states motion to preclude death procedures and yet another motion to dismiss. A hearing date has not yet been set by Judge Strickland’s office.

Did Kronk also use the very unusual duct tape? Is he the one who placed it on the Anthony’s gas can? Did he also make sure that he returned the duct tape so it could later be used on Caylee posters?

Is there any way that the judge will find in favor of the defense on this motion? Can you imagine the harm this will cause to anyone thinking of volunteering to search for a missing child? Or anyone stumbling across a body of a missing person. Do not report it- or you’ll end up like Kronk.

Will Mr. Kronk ever be able to get another job? All of his skeletons are out there for all to view. Would you want to hire him? Would you want to date him?

  2. JJ says:

IF Kronk hadn’t found Caylee their precious casey would probably be back home with them by now. They will make him pay for that won’t they! This is definitely a case of “NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED”!!!! I think blood vessels are rupturing in my head right now. Somebody needs to set up a defense fund for Kronk, I would be the first to donate. How many more people’s lives will they destroy for their white trash daughter. I still allowed myself to believe that they loved Caylee and were devasted by her loss. But no, THEY DIDN’T GIVE A bleep ABOUT HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Kleat says:

If the judge does accept this motion, to use the evidence against Kronk, someone ought to investigate the investigators for focusing their search to Casey only, including all those of the FBI, and all the other agencies as they did not consider Kronk as a suspect. Casey drives with a pizza box in her car and some garbage, and they charge her with murder! And they don’t look at Kronk– they should first look at Cindy and her hot temper who had weapons in her front yard, baseball bat as she had to be dragged from the front lines, George attacked Casey in the home, witnessed by his retired cop friend Jim, George was said to have attacked his own father and tossed him into a glass window, Cindy has lied, decieved, manipulated, George has lied, burst into a meeting to physically disrupt and stop it, George has lied under oath and pretended to be ignorant of facts such as the Blanchard Park story, Cindy verbally and with extreme aggression, attacked Tim Miller in her voicemail, bringing that man to tears, threatening him repeatedly, warning him, just as she attacked Yuri Melich, who is paid to be in the position he’s in, and trained for this abuse.

I think y’all should have been expecting this. Affectionately I say, what part of “It starts with it is my fault for leaving the gate open,” don’t you understand? This will not turn into hay. Remember we are in crunch time for the fraud trial, which imo, is the legal equivalent of a fistful of nails for Casey’s coffin as well as the sinkhole for the gravy train funding her.

Caylee’s spirit will sit on Roy’s shoulder until her own family beg her for forgiveness.

  4. Kleat says:

And Cindy and George, Lee and Casey all had access to the baby.

  5. Susan2 says:

Blink, Has Mr. Kronk taken a lie detector test? If not, will he? I don’t believe for a minute that he is guilty. I didn’t think for a minute that Jesse was guilty either. After Jesse took his lie detector test, and passed, Baez seemed to back off. I wonder if any of the Anthonys are ready to take their lie detector tests yet…NOT.

  6. ChicagoJudy says:

I’m not sure if I heard this right. I think I just heard a teaser on the TV for this morning’s Today Show. I think Matt Lauer said that Casey’s attorneys will be on today to say that someone else killed Caylee. After yesterday’s depo, are they now going to pin it on Kronk??

  7. ChicagoJudy says:

Sorry folks. I should have read upthread before posting my previous note. I thought I had news, but I was late to the party! Sorry.

  8. ada says:

So did Mr. Kronk live at Saw Grass or did he kidnap Caylee at Blanchard Park? Does he have a sister Samantha? Does he hang out with Jennifer and Rosa? Did he put the body in Casey’s trunk? When did he break into the Anthony’s house and steal their garbage bags, blanket, laundry bag and duct tape? Does he drive a silver Ford Focus? Did he put that duct tape on the gas can in that sloppy manner? Did he wipe adipocere off his hands and put the paper towels in Tony’s garbage? Did Casey sell Caylee to him like this horrible NC mother? Is this the proof that was required by Feb. 1 as suggested by Todd Mac.? Does the defense believe that Floridians are the most gullible people in the world? Has Roy Kronk been charged with any of these possible bad acts?

Could Brad Conway’s statements about this treatment of Kronk, be aimed at mitigating damage to his own clients, in their role and attitudes to burning anyone in their way as they hired their own PI to do damage control for Casey?

As an extension or adjunct to the defense, Conway KNEW what was coming and tried to separate his clients from these actions; no doubt in my mind, they knew this was coming. And they were on board. Otherwise, they would have made a statement after, one of shock and disbelief
    .
Good luck with that missing child nonprofit project. Who on earth will want to be a part of any missing child group that cozies up to lawyers who attempt to pin the crime on whatever individual recovers a body? And they most certainly went on their own witch hunt for different peripherals in this case. They were only less successful in hitting pay dirt. They are cut from the same mold. They are tainted by this, and by association, so is Conway. I have ZERO sympathy for them now. And I have ZERO sympathy for Casey, too. I understand the noble cause that some lawyers embark on, representing a client so that they are given their rights to a fair trial, and I get the need for establishing reasonable doubt, but I don’t see how these people can sleep at night after a move like this. They are intentionally sacrificing someone else for the purpose of winning a case.

I am not a proponent of the death penalty, but if a jury convicts her of this crime, knowing that not only was there a loss of life, but an effort to create more damage to outsiders, she WILL get the death penalty.

I’m not a fan of Kronk’s, but they will literally destroy him. He has no job, and now has to pay for an attorney to represent himself. So not only will his reputation be completely obliterated, but it seems he will also go into financial ruin. Maybe in some other part of his life he was a horrible person that is experiencing a karmic sh**-storm for something in his past, but that storm will gather steam along the way, and when it comes back around, it will knock the crap out of whoever intentionally set out to do damage to another human being so that they could reap benefits.

I agree with everything you said 100%. I also do not care. Polpot could have found Caylee and I would be forever grateful. I do not care if the Anthony’s drove Milstead’s billboard and parked it in front of Cronk’s house with a google map of Suburban and a neon arrow flashing “Look Here”. His actions, however they came about, took this baby’s remains out of a festering swill and will put her Mother’s in one. Viva Le Kronk.

Don’t charge the castle people, the moat will drown them all and you won’t have to break a nail.

Well that was exactly what I expected from Baez & AL – poor Kronk. The guy isn’t perfect – but nobody deserves what’s about to come his way.

  11. Marcy says:

#1051, Mom: If we have learned one thing in this sordid, rotten case, it is this: If anyone ever has the misfortune of finding a dead body, do not report it to the police. Do not walk, but run, in the opposite direction.

I really think people will stop & think twice now about doing the right thing. Who wants their life ruined? Kronk sure got it right when he said “No good deed goes unpunished.”

This motion makes me nauseous. I hope to God the judge sees it for what it is. Blink, please tell us how you think the judge will rule.

Blink…I am back thanks for everything…!

what is this mess, could someone spell it out in a nut shell, how low will the Defense go?

I am not hatin’ on the Defense, they got to do their job, but DAMN my nieghbors cat knows Casey did this horrific crime. Can we please get to the trial!

I have a lot of catching up to do just finished the Caylee book that was just released, didn’t find anything new in the book, Blink looks like Ms. Fanning got all of her info from this great sight ;-) Kudos to you and all your peeps!

  16. ada says:

Matt Lauer interviewed Baez and Lyon and asked whether the defense was simply trying to deflect attention from Casey Anthony.

“This is a situation where law enforcement never looked into this witness, who is a critical witness in this case, and never investigated this man’s background,” Baez said. “All we’re frankly doing is bring this to the attention of the court.

Lyon was asked whether she believes Kronk was involved in Caylee’s death.

“What we think is that there’s as much circumstantial evidence implicating Roy Kronk as there is implicating my client and that the state and the police should have investigated him as a suspect,” Lyon said. “He’s the only one who has been with the body. He’s the only one who magically discovers it. He takes a day off before he discovers it again in December.”

Baez said he’s not saying that Kronk is the killer, but he said that his testimony was questionable and that his background should be investigated.

  17. lily says:

WSH – the tidbits I got were:

    1) One of Kronk’s ex’s – video tape of her describing how he duct taped her hands one time. When she heard Kronk found the body the first thing she thought was that he killed Caylee. IMO – she has issues with Kronk as his ex. There are 3 video tapes released from witnesses for Kronk’s depo – but they only played a snip of this one.

    2) Lyon said, (paraphrasing) “…what we think is that there is as much circumstantial evidence implicating Roy Kronk as there is Casey Anthony. Kronk called his son a month before the discovery and said, ‘I’m going to be famous, on tv’, Kronk is the only one that has a physical link to the body, more but I can’t recall!

    3) Lauer asked about insects found in trunk of car – Baez said just because the police says its so doesn’t make it so. Will be highly disputed in court.

    4) Lauer asked about the laundry list of evidence, 31 days, lies, awful odor in trunk, partying, etc. Lyon said the state is only asking for the death penalty to get a biased jury – pro prosecution, pro conviction, pro death jury.

    BS BS BS BS BS!

“Baez said he’s not saying that Kronk is the killer, but he said that his testimony was questionable and that his background should be investigated.”

Baez: You already did that, and set him up before his deposition.

  21. ada says:

I think Baez should be investigated as the killer. He knows way too much about this case. He also has a questionable background. He associates himself with the criminal element like Todd Black. Doesn’t he also have some problems with an ex-wife and didn’t pay alimony or child support? He had access to much of the evidence in this case. His team lied about the duct tape on the skull. He lied whwn he told the press what Casey said when she told him to “get her the @!#$ out of here”. I really think the FBI was remiss in not investigating him further. See how easy this is? Careful Blink, you know too much also!

Lol, O ada that ship has sailed. We are aquainted.

and shame the devils. (Cindy, George, Lee, and of course Casey) This
just sickens me. As for the ex-wives shame on all of you! The
Anthony family are all cowards. Cindy reminds me of the mommy at
the bus stop that says (not my child she would not do that) Oh to
have a crystal ball. Hate is such a stong word however in this case
I have had that word pop up in my attic many times in the last
24 hours. The lawyers have now jockeyed for a piece of the action
Baze, Lyons on one morning show. Linda Kenny on another. If this
case were going a hundred miles an hour, it would still come to

  25. TandT says:

it’s an all out Media Blitz…

Question: “is there just as much evidence against RK as there is against Casey?”

Answer: ABSOLUTELY…….LKB says…it was a death bed statement…???? and the relivance to that is…..?????

    I am going to puke…

“We know our client is not guilty of “intentional homicide” ok I will buy that statement for a dollar…she is just guilty of homicide.

Can someone explain to me the reason for the media blitz’s, I am no lawyer, but, wouldn’t it be better for them to just shut up and get their case ready for trial instead of getting makeovers (by the way the ladies look lovely) and traveling back and forth to New York for interviews.

In many cases I have followed it seems like whenever the Defense goes out and tries to convince the public of outrageous scenarios it always backfires.

  28. Todd in Tulsa says:

Am I missing the mark, I thought that rare brand of tape that was found at the crime scene was also found at the Anthony home. Conway says Kronk has a history of ducttaping women? Ahhh, yeah. And I suppose Kronk broke into the Anthony home, took the rare ducttape, and taped Caylee’s mouth, in order to “frame” Casey? Blink, please tell me that noone, the prosecution, jury, etc will not buy into this recent attempt to point at someone else. Why isn’t the state saying enough is enough? They’ve been through 6 or seven people now, ironically enough not one of them is the one true assailant. Also, why is Conway getting involved in this? To my knowledge, it is only Casey charged. Or does he fear, (and rightfully so) that Cindy and George will be charged with something on down the road?

    EXCERPTS:

WFTV legal expert Bill Scheaffer says this is a low blow by Baez, who appears lost in his own case.
“The defense has continued to have a suspect de jour other than Casey Anthony,” said Scheaffer.
The accusation came after depositions Thursday in the form of a motion to introduce “bad acts.”In the document, Baez accuses Kronk of strange behavior with young girls, even using duct tape to bind them. All of the accusations stem from an interview with a young daughter of one of Kronk’s ex-girlfriends and his ex-wife.

“This is beyond a pathetic attempt, this is a despicable act on the part of the defense in this case,” said Scheaffer.

In other words, Baez and Anthony are walking a fine line with his accusations.

  32. westsidehudson says:

I left this post over at hinkymeter, I noticed that silver posts there a lot, but maybe someone can answer it here:

Roy Kronk is not on trial. Even if Roy Kronk was on trial, there was never a conviction on these alleged bad acts, so I don’t see how any of this would be permitted into any trial. Can I get a legal take on this?

Isn’t this a bunch of pretrial noise to get this story out there to a jury pool?

  33. westsidehudson says:

Also, does anyone know if Kronk has a decent civil case against Jose Baez now? Maybe Morgan will pick it up, lol.

  34. ChicagoJudy says:

Also loved when Lauer asked why Casey didn’t report her daughter missing for 31 days and spent that time out partying… their pat answer was that it will all come out in court at the proper time. Then why the hell are they on freakin’ national television NOW?????

I don’t know what it is, but I literally get the heeby jeebies when I see those people talking on tv. They’re creeeeeepy (and smarmy).

  35. westsidehudson says:

Also, doesn’t this in some way strengthen Morgans case with ZFG?
It demonstrates a consistency in an approach that is both slanderous and libelous?

  36. ChicagoJudy says:

I understand they’re saying that Kronk should be a suspect, not a witness. But I don’t understand how that even relates to the defendant’s story about Zanny the nanny and the whole kidnapping scenario. I see the whole “reasonable doubt” theory here that if he duct taped his ex-wife, then he could have duck taped Caylee. It’s far-fetched, but someone out there could fall for it. Does the defense team even have to say anything about Zanny? Or do they just have to throw stuff out there like this and see what sticks? I have to imagine that at some point they have to back up their allegations with some facts. right?

  37. Pamela says:

This is so,so ridiculus. First it was the non-existing Zanny at Saw Grass, Then the non-existing nanny at Blanchard Park (which I believe Cindy made up, when the other story was going south), then it was Amy or Ricardo or JP, then it was Jesse Grund. I’m sure I’m missing some, but now Roy Kronk, even though many of us saw this coming, it doesn’t make it any less disgusting. When they are thru trashing him, I’m sure the either George (my 1st bet, he’s always been such a Cindy pawn) or Cindy will stand up and court and claim they did it, get Casey off, and when double jeopardy attaches, Casey will claim at their trail, that she did indeed kill Caylee, and they were only trying to save her life.
I just keep telling myself, Karma is a bitch, and she’ll be coming for everyone involved in the Anthony debacle, they will pay for their deeds.
The atty’s were almost comical on the morning shows today, what a bunch of losers. They are a disgrace to their professions.

  38. Randie says:

“We know our client is not guilty of INTENTIONAL homicide…..”

Why not just say, We know our client is not guilty of homicide?????

  39. dee says:

The defense can point to everyone in Orlando if they want to, but in the end EVERYTHING will point right back to Casey!

I will never get past the 30 days..ever!

  40. Joan (Canada) says:

Don’t know how to link from Myfoxorlando, but the motions for Roy Kronk are there and they are dated Nov. 18, 2009 which means that they were prepared prior to Kronk’s depo, so they went ahead with the depo and then filed. This is why Conway had the presser out on Wed. to take the heat off the A’s because we all know that they had Dominic investigate him (see e-mails)and they tried very hard to dig up dirt on him. Do they think people do not read the discoveries. Hello!

Why is Dominic Casey not a suspect? He was all over the place, poking and prodding looking for the body off little Caylee. Oh, that’s right, it was a phsyic that told him where to look. I think he should be investigated too.

Blink, as I don’t see my last posting I’m assuming it was inappropriate. If so, sorry for that.

  41. Joan (Canada) says:

Oops, sorry I didn’t refresh. But really, is it not just a bit creepy.
I keep hearing Tracy saying that Casey wanted her to wear a watch around her ankle, then the last court appearance, now their hair is the same colour. If at the next court appearance they are again wearing the same colour that is really going to freak me out. Eeew!

#1060 westside hudson—i agree 100 percent with you AND Blink. When I heard the news as I went out the door to work—the way ABC said it like they had actually found a killer other than Casey, I nearly dropped my teeth. I have tried to have compassion for Cindy and George and all their defense teams but no more. Why do they say such ridiculous things and just try to ruin peoples lives? I am just an average everyday person, no expert in anything and I can tell this is just the biggest bs. Would there be anyway to stop George and Cindy from continuing with their find lost children non profit sham legally?—petitions, etc? I would definitely sign one. Like westside said who would want their help to find anything? Maybe Roy Kronk has a past but so what—he found Caylee and DID the right thing. When Cindy and George were rebaptised, I guess it didnt take!!!!!!! I am sooo looking forward to a trial now, I want to see the prosecutions grill the daylights out of the entire bunch with the dp for Casey. And see the whole disgusting setup exposed to the world. Hope it is on TV every day so the defense can make fools of themselves in front of everyone and never have another client.

I keep thinking about if this defense strategy works, which I seriously doubt, “the Karma @#$%# storm” will be when Casey moves back in with George and Cindy. The defense has been completely short sighted in all this. What happens if Casey is released into the public? What’s in store for Baez and Co. in the court of public opinion? George and Cindy will be saddled with Casey and their reputations for the rest of their lives. I have reached the point where I think regardless of the outcome, they will all get what they justly deserve.
