Sources within the SA’s office speaking on the condition of anonymity to blinkoncrime.com say the new information is largely FBI reports.

The release comes on the heels of new motions  filed by the defense this week.

Jose Baez and Andrea Lyon, defense counsel for Casey Anthony filed a motion alleging double jeopardy violation  in the upcoming fraud case, a reply to the states motion to preclude death procedures and yet another motion to dismiss. A hearing date has not yet been set by Judge Strickland’s office.

I’m watching the JVM show with Baez. He does not answer any questions.
I wish he would be interviewed by someone like Blink or Schaeffer who would question him about motions and such. “OMG, Casey wants her day in court.” “They are playing with someone’s life.” (meaning Casey) Hello, are they not doing the same with Kronk.

I swear I’ve had to go to the basement and have my husband dig out the grandkid’s punching bag and have a go at it. If he didn’t help me, I told him it would be him. He just rolled his eyes and found it, had it blown up and it now sits proudly by the computer.

  2. Joan (Canada) says:

A judge on JVM stays that the motion Baez filed (limine) is to exclude bad acts or such, that she has never seen this type of motion to “include” bad acts. Apparently he did want to reply to the judge, but was in the background shaking his head.

  3. Kleat says:

ChicagoJudy, thanks for the head’s up. That was quite something. Loved the judge’s comments on the ‘motion’, adding to the absurdity of the filing of this motion, was the fact that ‘prior bad acts’ are a ‘prosecutor’s’ tool, not something for the defense to bring up.

But the defense knows it’s the weekend, the judge can’t do anything this fast, they have time to spin this their way until next week, even if the judge rushes a decision. What is the judge going to say anyway? The whole thing will be thrown out vs decided upon? Does the state have to respond to tell the judge it’s a moot motion? Why would they? No doubt they will offer something up before long.

I think tonight’s program did more harm to Casey– hardly talked about Kronk at all, certainly not the focus, lots of photos of Casey partying but only during the 31 days, not before so that can’t be argued.

They ought to rerun that a few times– show how rediculous this whole thing is.

  4. Kleat says:

Blink, Blase (oops, slapping fingers for mysspelling, darn I can’t rmr how to spell that name, forgive me for relying on your version) said re; the bar complaints on JVM tonight, that at first it bothered him, I assume it no longer bothers him (irrc– who knows what the guy said– he ended up saying ‘you are in trouble if you take yourself seriously’, then he fumbumbled through that and came up with another variation on that… he’s hyped tonight!)

He’s not worrying about bar complaints, so far they’ve gone nowhere– but one of these times his lucky sham will drop it’s rocks.

Legal Analyst Bill Sheaffer on Casey Anthony Case
Does Casey’s Defense Have No Sense Of Decency?

Posted in Latest Posts by billsheaffer on November 20, 2009

Filing and publicizing the latest so-called ”Motion in Limine” by the Anthony defense team, which would now seem to include Brad Conway, lawyer for George and Cindy Anthony, is an all-time low on a grand scale, even for this crew. Casey’s defense lawyers would have us believe that Mr. Kronk killed the child and dumped her body in the woods so that he could later claim to “discover” the body for some financial gain…

WESH does a strange thing with a photo illustration with connecting links between people:

    Caylee—>Casey—>Roy Kronk—>Kronk’s Ex-Wife Jill Kerley

How do they reason drawing the direct link between Casey and Roy Kronk? Strange way to illustrate it, as if there is a connection between Casey and Kronk.

Funny how Kronk’s ex brings up ‘duct tape’. Her ‘gut’ telling her he had something to do with this? (enter comment #1104 by ada ‘uttering false document’ history of the most credible witness the defense has). This is what Baez is using to file a motion to have Kronk made as a suspect?

To quote Daniel Horowitz tonight on Nancy Grace, when asked what he would do if Mario McNeill were his client, he said:
“I really think a case like this, depends upon whether the client is willing to admit guilt. If he fights guilt when it’s overwhelmingly clear that he did it, you maybe walk away from a case like this. But if he is willing to admit he did it and basically throw himself on the mercy of the court the public and so on, maybe he has a chance at life without parole rather than death.”
If only more attorneys had this philosophy, the world would be such a better place!
I noticed when Jose Baez was speaking of his ‘principles’ on Jane Velez Mitchell’s show tonight, he couldn’t even keep a straight face himself.
ok, just sayin, back to lurking…

    —> and look… http://cur2d.t9yv6.servertrust.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=S

Suspect Red Green admits ‘this is a hold up’– sounds like a past ‘bad act’ to me– and he uses and abuses duct tape as ‘Handyman’s Secret Weapon’– ‘weapon’. Yes, he is suspicous! The investigators did not do their job by not investigating this Red Green person so it is up to the dream defense team to do the work for them.

Duct Tape Forever is also promoted by this ‘suspect’– see ‘ball caps’.

    http://cur2d.t9yv6.servertrust.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=DTF
(at this price, is he trying to get rid of evidence???)

Could he be the person seen by George Anthony driving the white Pontiac with black sports bra, ‘male in a ball cap’, not once, but TWICE in the neighbourhood after his daughter left the house??!! Yes… it fits… the more one thinks about it, the more gut feeling it must be true.

Yes, Red Green is from north of the 49th, and we know that Canadians are ‘snowbirds’ and come to Florida– spells SUSPECT to me!

Ball caps + Snowbirds in Florida (aka aliens) + Duct Tape ‘efficionado’ = major suspect, absolutely

We know suspect will be available for questioning and surrepticious recording of suspicious musings at a certain hardware store next month.

Defense team, be diverted north!!!– do we have a snowdrift for you — but don’t worry, you will be out by spring.

“OK Blinksters – I just had my meeting with OCSO deputy that worked the case.
1st confirmed bombshell, although this was much touted gossip, I didn’t believe it, but Casey and Baez were having sex in his office. She constantly had hickies, and when they went to arrest her there the arresting officers caught them in the act. They also saw them at other times in states of various undress, and another time Casey had her shirt on backwards. He said she even attempted to hold Baez’s hand under the desk in court and he reprimanded her. There is an ongoing bar complaint against Baez over this, he and Casey both denied it, but there are too many witnesses.”
    Pamela:
WOW. I missed this yesterday. I know the circumstances wouldn’t be released , but isn’t there a way to get confirmation from the BAR is there is an outstanding complaint? Generally, they will also release info on what stage of the process the BAR investigation is at. Can anyone find out if this can be verified?

“He also said, he was one of the responding officer’s over George’s attempted suicide, which again I thought was more a “look at me the victim so distraught”. But that the suicide note will come into trial and it will tell the real story.”

Can you elaborate on the real story?

If there is an active bar investigation, which I believe there to be, but it concerns the contract info presented by Jose Baez concerning a motion the defense filed in an attempt to keep the Padillas et al off the witness list, anyone can call the bar and ask. If there is a complaint under review against him they are required to confirm it, but not necessarily the allegation.

I found it very interesting he brought up the Judge’s former complaint against him last night on JVM- what a maroon, that’s coming back.

“Kronk’s attorney said the defense never asked Kronk specific questions about these allegations Thursday when they had him under oath and could’ve pinned him down while they had the advantage of surprise.
Sheaffer says it’s another indication that this is another media stunt without any evidentiary or legal substance.”

Now isn’t that strange???!! They did not want to catch Kronk unaware and possibly crunch him into a lie, or by not wanting to admit something? Not even one question?

I really don’t have a comment, just thought that this should be repeated.

  26. westsidehudson says:

Blink, maybe there are 2 complaints. If not, maybe the universe is having its turn about, spreading rumors or innuendo about Baez (and Casey), as he did about Kronk. I’m sure someone will find out.

If it is true, it certainly makes sense that someone a little too close to the case, wouldn’t be looking at things objectively, hence the past missteps. Anything is possible.

I’m glad that someone had the guts to place the onus squarely on all that are involved. I had tried most desperately to keep an open mind about the Anthonys and especially Brad Conway. I now see the error of my thought process. They are all in this up to their eyeballs.

WFTV takes withering look at defense’s latest move

    EXCERPT:
Reporter Kathi Belich said, “His bitter exes have accused Kronk of almost everything but the Kennedy assassination and the 9-11 attacks,” Belich said. “But they were not questioned under oath. And the defense did not provide any evidence to support any of the allegations.”
Belich said, “Sheaffer points out that if the defense team repeats unsubstantiated allegations like this outside of court, they could be sued. They didn’t during their morning network blitz, which tells him they have no evidence to back them up.”
Kronk’s attorney told Belich that the defense team never raised these allegations during a deposition yesterday. Sheaffer sees that as another sign of a media stunt.

What I found interessting on the JVM show is when Jane asked Baez (it was toward the end) how he felt about the way people were attacking him for grandstanding and he said something to the effect that when you had been doing this for as long as he had it more or less rolls off your back. I thought he had been with the Fl. bar for a very short period of time.

Ada, holding hands in court? if true, do you think the judge would stand for that? What a nutcase.

  32. BEES KNEES says:

  33. ada says:

I think it’s time for all the national network show that televised the BS (Baez Show) to get Bill Sheaffer (or someone similar, Blink, Kathi B.?) on the air to counter this defamation of Kronk, the Grunds and all the other bus accident victims of the defense. Usually the State will drop some sobering documents after the B.S. comes to town. I’d just as soon see the arresting officers(in shadow of course) discussing Casey’s hickeys and someone discussing Jill Kronk K.’s arrest record. I hope Judge Strickland can put a stop to this, but I think he is fearful of any missteps which would lead to an appeal.

Blink– yeah, JVM was quite the show– I want a rerun!

I have a fresh view of this fiasco this morning. (aka I have a new suspicion– this whole thing is TOO perfect)

Ragdoll!! now WHEREVER did you get that phrase ‘the beaver– a great and noble animal’!! (note I’m leaving off the ? mark!! Don’t get me going on that one! Gotta love it)

  36. Kleat says:

WSH, doesn’t take long to figure the source of the anti-Strickland comments– the comments are on video tape, Mrs. Anthony herself. Not just in the high emotion of post-bond hearing media, but investigators videos. Don’t quote me, but I’m pretty sure it’s the FBI– let me have my morning coffee first. Now what number video was that…. ‘he is a hard-ass’– yes, the Anthony woman called Judge Strickland, an ‘ass’.

  37. Kleat says:

Blink, a ‘maroon’??? Absolutely, wine’ing maroon. Used to be a nice colour, now all I can see is that plush cut velvet smoking jacket– maroon– that Todd Mac was wearing in the ‘drinking room’ chez Baez.

  38. Kleat says:

Anyone else laying money on the dirt digging of Mr. Kronk BEFORE the first sighting call was ever made? That’s where I’m going, folks. Back to LP’s daisy chain– don’t know what LP knew, if anything, but this whole thing is too good.

We have the psychic diversion– who’d buy that except a PI for Baez who is chosen not because he’s the brightest bulb in the pack. We have the perfect patsy, Mr. Baez is well known publicly for being represented as a lawyer, by felons (one real, many ficticious with the same telephone number).

Who better to set up to find the body, than someone who is at heart, a good guy, the ‘dumb po-lice’ will buy it– he’s got a reason to be in the area, no one would suspect that he’s being set up through some neat little connections via the jail, neatly away from Baez’s hands. Cain might have been tipped off about the guy not giving reliable information, or that part could just be dumb luck, or maybe someone suggested to Cain he might just look foolish bothering to take these plethora of tips from wannabe hero’s, too seriously (shop talk).

Mr. Kronk may have a past drinking problem– PERFECT for a patsy. Push him into a position where he feels lost and overwhelmed (bring someone up to feel good, then drop a bomb on them, aka Thursday) and he’ll more than likely want to take some comfort and there goes your State witness, folks. All perfectly legal.

I’m not suggesting that ANYTHING these women said on tape was in any way, shape or form, true– not in this form. One lie– it’s all lies based on what is presented, the way it’s presented. Call me racist– those women, no matter what basis in ‘fact’ is underlying anything they said, are the epitome of WHITE TRASH. The tears of the young woman were for her mother, but just watch the video, isolate a still shot as the media does, or we can do easily– nice touch, don’t you think (sarcasm directed to the defense itself– Baez is no Tom Cruise, Kronk, no Jack Nicholson, and whatshername “legal” from the Coast Guard office, no Demi Moore).

Mr. Kronk needs support, is Bill Schaeffer the only one out there who speaks out for his profession in this matter? Caylee needs Mr. Kronk, like him or not, he’s all she had, besides a Virginia psychic.

How did the set up Kronk so well? Baez and his felon connections– too good to be true.

  39. Kleat says:

It’s time to call in the reserves– *dialing the red phone under the cake plate– calling Silverspnr….*

  40. Kleat says:

WSH, that quote was, of course, not mine, but from Bill Schaeffer’s WFTV article. That man is going to need a new keyboard soon– ;)

  41. Kleat says:

Baez was telling Cindy early on, that there is some information that should not go public, yet Cindy spilled it to the FBI (slowly, in dribs and drabs).

Cindy said Casey personally told her that Zani has Caylee, but that it was Lee who had more information on why Zani would double cross Casey…

“If Casey promised her a place to live or whatever… I’m not sure….”

Zani had lost a lot of money, Casey lost money too, in the stock market… that could be a reason for Zani taking Caylee, also maybe Casey promised her a place to live…

Cindy went on to say that If it’s true that this person held Casey down physically and took Caylee… if this person thinks her cover is still good (using Zani name as a cover), and it comes out that it’s ‘Amy’, then they’re gonna run and take that girl farther and farther and this information is going to go public soon (telling the FBI for the first time Cindy interview Pt 5/11 at 11 minutes)

Cindy also says ‘that is what her attorney wanted to make clear yesterday, some of these things should not be public’. (Baez is telling Cindy not to make some things public, but she tells the FBI anyway, hints at it earlier using July 14th in her conversation with Scott Bolin without any apparent reason, then later just before 11 minutes, brings it up because it’s going to go public ‘real soon’ anyway, so she may as well share it with the FBI.

Amy was, or is, a prime ‘suspect’ on the Baez target list.

Mr. Morgan, fasten your seatbelt and hang on to your client! Who knows what link they will try to form with your client– Cindy already said something about ‘gang tattoos’ publicly.

And then there’s “Rico” in Casey’s password.

Casey was not setting up Kronk, that’s why the defense is using Kronk, because the state can’t say ‘Casey set him up’ as could happen with Amy, Rico, or anyone Casey was linked with.

Baez didn’t want things to go public, why? Because going public might save the child from the hands of the kidnapper– he did not want Cindy to discuss this with the FBI, but she thought well, ‘it’s going public real soon anyway’ so she told Scott Bolin about it.

Baez did not want it going public, just like he wanted to keep Roy Kronk as suspect, quiet– until he could drop it at the right time, have his second major NY media ‘blitz’ with at least two of his lawyers to line up beside him on at least two of the major network morning shows.

Kronk was set up for the fall, just when did it start– ‘daisy chain’. Someone needs to do some real investigating on this, not some PI with a narrow agenda.

  42. Kleat says:

But what I can’t figure is, how on earth could Baez have a connection with any criminals who might leak information that goes to someone, goes to the next person, gets to someone like Mr. Kronk.

Like it or not, Roy Kronk is Caylee’s hero, her only ‘front line’ hero. Mr. Dominic Casey is Caylee’s arch villain, Mr. Baez’s dirty worker, mud gatherer, who was not to tell where Caylee’s body is.

Let’s say, just for the fantasy moment, that a kidnapper had Caylee, and Casey was somehow involved in some bad activities that caused this, or she herself had some involvement directly, or even just a little involvement from not being a good mommy.

Baez did NOT want the information to go public, so ‘what if’ the child had been alive still, at the end of July, first week in August, while Cindy was being told by Baez, that this information is not to go public. (and not obviously, to be shared with the po-lice or certainly not, with the FBI).

Baez protected his client from some lesser charges, while sacrificing the baby? Right– he knew the child was dead, he knew his client knew about it, so very early on, he was looking for a way to manipulate the ‘circumstances’ of the body find, to point elsewhere. Where better than Mr. Roy Kronk who, if luck would have it, would be broken down between last Thursday afternoon, and trial next year.

  43. Kleat says:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAM9dtEvwAc&feature=related

Way back when– months ago. It’s not Kronk’s story the defense is going after, as predicted by Mr. Evans, clearly it was dirt.

A Channel 6 commentor says ‘Casey wasn’t that smart not to leave clues at the crime scene, then goes on to not only talk about the new evidence of the wifes etc, but claims the interviews were done in a court room under oath, and then stretched the duct tape story to be the ‘same duct tape’ as found on Caylee.

The motion was a farce, the defense knows it, Baez says he wants the court to allow this evidence and consider Kronk as a suspect, but it’s not the court or the motion, it’s using the motion and the court for one purpose only– national media to get to any or all jury pools in Florida, to lay the foundation of this suspect person, get the visuals in people’s minds ahead of time, the ‘duct tape’ is a strong visual, to counteract the image of a mother taping her baby’s mouth to force her to die.

page 85 – Email from Cindy to Dominic
” did you read the on about his Son stating that his dad told him before Dec 11th that he was going to be on TV, and also Kronk’s sister can fill in the gaps in the case. I also wonder who Linda is that thinks that Richard Grund may have lived in MD. If Richard and Roy know each other that would be huge.

  45. Kleat says:

Apparently, one media ‘news’ source actually headlined that the defense’s target killed Caylee Anthony.

Same poster, on the Bill Schaeffer blog comments (see blog page, and recent comments links) reveals the Maryland forgery charges of ex-wife come wannabe new media star/moneygrubber:

    “PA1234 said, on November 21, 2009 at 1:07 pm
Seems one of the defense team’s witnesses (ex-wife Jill Kronk) against the unindicted Mr. Kronk, has a criminal record of forgery in the state of Maryland.

Very credible witness, Mr. Baez, her background matches your client’s profile nicely.”

(Good work, PA1234, and to your earlier comment below…..)

    “PA1234 said, on November 21, 2009 at 12:48 pm

Forgot to mention…shame on the national media who are attempting to give credibility to this unscrupulous legal team and their defendant. One headline was especially atrocious,
METER READER KRONK KILLED CAYLEE ANTHONY.

To a casual browser of the news, that is very damning to a private citizen. If one goes on to read the entire article, the innuendo (not facts by any means) that follow, are probably just ambiguous enough to keep the “news” network legally safe.”

    ———————————–

  46. Kleat says:

my question would be, technically ‘ambiguous’ maybe, but is the message itself, what people read and take from that headline, ambiguous at all??? I think NOT.

  47. Kleat says:

kidnapping, duct tape, handcuffs, plastic gun– yes, Roy Kronk was set up, and this must somehow fit into the category of unprofessional for a lawyer, and maybe even a criminal act in itself.

Kronk was too perfect a patsy, just couldn’t get any better, all allegations are just that, but they are worthy of the National Enquirer, that sells its headlines in all major Florida cities with court houses to hold major trials.

WHY did defense attorney Terrance, really quit? What did he know, or what would he have known, that Baez wanted to keep ‘zipped’?

  48. ada says:

6/08/06 (arrest date) for Identity Theft
6/08/06 (arrest date) for False Information
7/12/06 (arrest date) for Failure to Appear

Plus 5 other misdemeanors or infractions on top of that.

    Hmmmmmmm.

Wonder what kind of “help” the defense was going to give her after her 8/29/09 arrest for Larceny? They did their little interview shortly after that date……Strange.”

    Schaeffer vs Hornsby,

    TV Guy says:

And what to make of that motion?

WFTV-Channel 9′s legal analyst Bill Sheaffer says the interviews with Kronk’s ex-wives are worthless because they weren’t done under oath.

On WESH-Channel 2, legal analyst Richard Hornsby said, “This is the first significant and credible shot the defense has taken against the state. I think it has a high likelihood of success.”

    —————–

Not only not under oath, TVGuy fails on this count, to point the main points Schaeffer makes, that of the lack of appropriateness of the whole motion, as per the law and mechanics of proceedures in Florida (and as pointed out in even more detail, by the judge on last nights JVM)

  50. Kleat says:

ada, but that doesn’t mean she’s a liar!! (just kidding– of course it does)

Fox channel in Orlando has the complete rants posted by the X-Wives and makes them embeddable– why do that to spread this further. It will never leave Kronk now, for the rest of his life.

Did anyone notice that the ‘interview’ (aka some news reports calling ‘TESTIMONY’ as if it’s under oath) with first ex-wife, coast guard officer person, was done WITH her current husband in the livingroom with them? How’s that for supporting unbiased ‘testimony’, ranting against husband no. one, making him look even worse with new husband listening at your side, and there for comment when you ask. Good skewing technique there, Mort.
