Caylee/Casey Anthony Case: George Anthony Is Under The Microscope

George Anthony can stands all he can stands and he cain’t stands no More!

George Letter

Yesterday, in an exclusive interview with Fox’s Holly Bristow, George Anthony read aloud a letter he wrote over Thanksgiving regarding his and his families plight of living “under the microscope.”

This is the same Holly Bristow that Cindy parked her SUV in rush hour traffic, ran to her news van, banged on the window and shaking her finger screamed to the driver that Holly would NOT be getting any more exclusives.

You can find Dr. Lillian Glass’s assessment of George’s appearance here.

Apparently George feels there is plenty of blame for his strife including bloggers looking for their 15 minutes of fame. Huh?

It would seem to me that in George, Lee and Cindy Anthony’s initial 15 minutes of LAME, they begged the media, the public and Law Enforcement to look for Caylee Marie Anthony THEIR WAY and without any scrutiny of the possibilities of how she got THAT WAY.

The Blinkoncrime contributing editors would like to remind Mr. Anthony that to our knowledge, the only thing that landed under a microscope in the search for his murdered granddaughter was her hair with a deathband at the proximal end; removed from his daughter’s trunk.

The rest of the scrutiny, sir, is of your OWN DOING.

You S O L I C I T E D help from OCSO.

You S O L I C I T E D help from the media.

You S O L I C I T E D help from the public.

You S O L I C I T E D help from the Padillas.

You S O L I C I T E D help from TES.

You S O L I C I T E D help from Private Investigators.

What utterly jams me about you people is your unmitigated gall that you think you can control events.

You have treated anyone in any capacity as if they should open their mouths, take the Anthony spoonful and ignore your hand in our wallets in the process.

You solicited public funds without a license to do so and misled thousands as to where your GRANDDOLLARS were going.

I would ask you how many granddollars your dignity cost you but as I have noted in an earlier “Microscope View” you were devoid of it before Caylee was murdered.

You have openly admitted to following witnesses in this case.

You directed Dominick Casey to spend the bulk of his time trying to dig up dirt on the very people your daughter duped for years; not to find Caylee mind you, but to take the heat off Casey.

How many decent people have YOUR efforts put under the microscope?

Mr. Anthony, I began work on Caylee’s case LONG before I had ever written about it because she was M I S S I N G. I put together a research team and we busted our humps daily to help find her, and to stop you and yours from using her as your personal ATM.

The fact is, these “bloggers” for the most part, all did more to find your granddaughter than you or any member of your family ever has.

When she was found and OCSO and the FBI spent 72 hours straight at the site to make sure they had all this baby’s bones what did you do?

You called the very people whose hands extracted almost every teensy bone of this cherub “effing flunkies” and ordered them out of your house.

What you, your family and cronies have never understood, is that THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU. I don’t give a whip if you pierce your pinky toe. I don’t care about any of your proclivities whatsoever.

What I VERY MUCH care about, is justice for Caylee Marie Anthony.

My team and I will work as diligently as we always have to ensure she gets it and that her legacy is restored.

As long as you continue to publicly lie, omit, evade and demonstrate your overall inability to accept what has happened to your only grandchild at the hands of your daughter, you can expect a slot on my slide at every opportunity.

You knew on July 15. I could throw a rock from your roof to where Caylee laid in festering garbage. Shame on You.

You want out of the spotlight? Tell the truth. You might even try it before Dominick Casey cuts a deal and tells it for you.

man, Blink, extracting her teensy bones drilled me to the core. The part about throwing the rock off the roof where she was buried like garbage and the sticker from her trunk — I wasn’t aware of the solicited funds, either.

I am not looking to charge the castle, I am just seriously over these people. If they would tell the truth and say but we love and support our daughter, I would respect that. I cant abide liars. I can’t abide liars that are getting paid over their dead granddaughter.

I can’t give insight on the legal aspects or scientific aspects but human behavior aspect I am all over it, I just don’t think I can do it without completely going off…where is the happy medium…I might have to sit this one out cause I just can’t be nice other then to say I pray in time JoJo has a change of heart…

lol, I simply stated the truth in response to the garble he was peddling. My issue is usually in the personal or appearance attacks, you know your fine if you try to keep the emotion at bay. That said, I think your last line is perfect.

I didn’t see the interview with George, but read the letter. I sympathize with his total loss of privacy. I feel for the other witnesses such as Roy Kronk, as well, for all of their personal issues or foibles released and discussed beyond the confines of elements crucial in the case. I think that the FLA sunshine law, likely enacted with good intention, can be very damaging.
That said, the Anthonys have courted certain members of the media, themselves. They have gone on national broadcast media to promote their nonprofit, and unfortunately, made themselves public figures in the process. I don’t give a rat’s ass about their tattoos, earrings or haircuts, etc. I haven’t commented on any of that minutiae prior to this comment. I have always said that it would be in their best interest to stay off of television and not make comments about the case. They didn’t do themselves or Casey any favors by their exposure, (unless one considers that their actions will be used in mitigation, and I believe that they will).
Every time they go on TV with softball interviews, or statements that contradict earlier statements (that usually go unchallenged), or make new ones that sound disingenuous, it only stirs the pot. This results in coverage by other media that will analyze the story beyond the limitations from the originating source. That they haven’t figured this out yet, fair or unfair, is beyond comprehension. If they are putting out a PR piece, it will always be covered, deconstructed, analyzed by media, and then bloggers will comment on it. ALWAYS. Maybe it isn’t right. And some people are cruel and ridiculous. The name calling is appalling at times. Further, I can’t understand people who protested at their house or sent them emails or called with threats, etc.
But again, if you go on TV with a marketing strategy, that will ALWAYS be followed by an avalanche of coverage by other media. It will not change. You can not change it. You can not control what is reported on, and you are, in essence, getting the ball rolling on negative coverage, yourselves, by doing this. Stop going on TV. Take time to grieve. Work against the FLA sunshine law. Go visit Casey. She is alone. Tell her that you love her. The defense lawyers can argue against the release of a video if it is inflammatory in any manner. Strickland is a fair judge.
I’m not being sarcastic here. You are encouraging some of your own pain. I hope that this note helps.
    And, to your statement:
“An opinion, article gets released, printed and that becomes gospel for a slight few.”
That is true George. A ’slight few’ will run with anything, on either side. But a lot of people will critically analyze things, and seek what is reasonable. Enough said.

Gee, where did I put my box of tissues? WHA WHA WHA WHA WHA! I am really starting to think George and Cindy have ice water in their vains and rocks in their heads……They both should have choked on their crab cakes the day they actually find Caylee’s dead body…..These two actually believe their own words……

  10. Debi says:

Wow…this, poor..poor..poor..victim..George…I hope the cross is not to heavy to carry on your back!

    T0: George
How does Cindy get you through the day…well, it must be the ring in your nose…pull me..pull me..pull me…Cindy…get me through the day!

Oh, George..so much hurts you…how can you spill you guts like this? Can’t you shut your F_IN mouth? You are such a shame to a daughter as father! I would be soooo ashamed of you if you were related to me.

    Move away…board up your house…get new names…HIDE!!!!!!
It is amazing…your mouth is amazing…you never stop…you are such a fool…you are the guilty one…Those that think the Chloroform belongs to you..is this the smokin gun…you are the pervert? Casey caught you being the pervert?

If all you want to do George is tell your daughter you love her…then why don’t you do it? What the heck is stopping you from it? The media? I don’t think so…you are such a liar, George!

If your heart says you want to see your daughter then you should…why lie to the world George, does it make you feel better?

Good things do not happen for EVIL people like you, George!

Nine out of ten people are nice to you…well welcome to the real world…why should anyone chose to be so nice to you? Have you been so nice to little Caylee Marie?

I know it hurts George, but get some grief counseling…will you? You never forget, you just learn to live without and move on with each day…do something good for someone else…go and vist the children at St Jude’s Hospital…bring a little child some joy..do in Caylee’s name as a murdered child…make yourself a listener to a Hospice patient…But,just shut your mouth…please! You shame yourself!
    You are not the victim!

Well said as always, Blink. I am astonished at the chutzpah of George Anthony. How dare he say he helps anyone? Even Ron Cummings ordered him away. Oh I’m wrong. He helps himself, probably to donations made to the Anthony fund the purpose of which is unclear. Since many first responders will no longer accept stuffed animals made in China because of dangerous chemicals, I wonder what they’re peddling now. And about the earrings? How did a couple who only recently were in danger of losing their home by defaulting on a mortgage now afford big diamond earrings? Tell us, George, don’t stop now. It could get interesting. It isn’t so far, though.

That is a great article Blink and I so agree. All of the Anthony’s seem to be stuck in a “me” mentality. The justice that Caylee deserves and the honoring of her memory are lost in that 25 minute rambling. The Anthony’s are in their own world and just don’t get it. It’s unfortunate that all those around them don’t help them enter reality. IMO

I can see a lot of people’s New Years resolution to not hate the anthony’s going up in smoke. Personally, they disgust and repulse me.
I have a child who has been incarcerated for sixteen years. I work with families of inmates and convicts and I am a prisoner rights advocate. (I know, I know, but it makes for interesting conversations at cocktail parties.) I have seen and heard all kinds of AMAZING things but these people take the trophy.

I knew that was coming, but I stand behind not hating them. It is unbearably difficult at times, I know. It does not mean I am going to give his lying pie hole a pass. From your perspective, I would say they really are as bad as we think.

    You S O L I C I T E D help from the Padillas.

    You S O L I C I T E D help from TES.

I can see them doing all of those things, while Caylee was missing, Blink. I think anyone would take help from everyone to find their loved one. I think what causes the most heartburn for them is the PR media events, and the subsequent media and public’s analysis and backlash of/to those events- particularly when they are discussing Casey’s case.

I think it would help them to read independent blogs less, or not read them at all. The significance and impact of these blogs upon Casey’s trial is minimal, if nonexistent. The only people who read them are followers of the case, who are from all over and would not be seated on the jury anyway. The 6 o’clock News in Orlando, Miami or Tampa is different, and so are the blogs directly related to those local stations or local newspapers. But why not avoid those too and permit the defense to keep an eye out?

As I’ve stated before, if they stay off TV, they will be reported on less. Out of the public eye, the press will have less to write about them.

    WSH-
I agree that they should have done all those things, but they smacked them all when they realized nobody was buying their line. As you point out, they have the option to not appear. It does not pay as well though for them to sit at home.

Ms. B…I work hard every day trying to be a better a person, I see many going off the deep end over this, I want to, I truly want to take that plunge and just cuss and scream. with that said all I can say is that this is another sad excuse to try and blind everyone…I felt bad for about a minute today until my better half corrected me, I want to feel for the family I do I feel for their loss but Gosh Damn It stand up for this innocent baby PLEASE!!!!!

Ok I get it, your daughter is accused, but this was a baby a baby Damn it she was a baby that couldn’t defend herself, a baby that couldn’t reach out for help and tell you this is what is happening to me please help me…please help me………!!!!!!! this is all I can hear, her lil voice, her lil spirit saying.

what kind of person can ignore that fact?

Shi! I saw a cat ran over 200 miles away from home and couldnt drive for a week I was so upset I was afraid to drive.

“We are talking about a 3 year old lil girl” (Mrs.Anthony’s words) did you forget that GEORGE?

Dear God bring us peace please! I will NEVER understand this I will NEVER accept their behavior, I will always depise their words until they finally say “you know what, we were wrong” then I will rest….

  23. denjet says:

    Kudos Blink !!!

When I watched George’s appearance, all I could think was “you asked for it and you got it” … yet they continue their deceitful, self-serving campaign and wonder why they’re criticized and deplored ??? Decent folks SHOULD be appalled by ANYONE who behaves the way they have …

  24. westsidehudson says:

I think that George’s note and the appearance on TV (although I only read the letter) is just so ironic. The note would have had more punch and poignancy if he mailed it into a newspaper/station as an op-ed piece, left it at that, went home and slammed his door shut. But going on TV to complain about being on TV or being covered by the press while engaging and talking to the press comes off a bit contrary and a little bonkers.

    Exactly.
To underscore your point WSH. I read the letter yesterday. I had no intention of covering it. I saw the video today.

But it wouldn’t matter, even if I did. What is important to them is their family and daughter. They should take a rest, out of the spotlight and then quietly go visit Casey. Quietly work behind the scenes to find missing children. Enough with the madness. I don’t want to read an article where one or the other has killed themselves or each other.

Nor do I. I wish them peace, but for me that comes with facing their reality.

Very well said Blink. I think its hysterical that the Scamthony’s still don’t get it. No one is putting them under a microscrope that wasn’t provided to each of us except by the Anthony’s themselves. Their reprehensible behavior, their blatant lies and evidence tampering. Their constant need for attention and media whoring. Setting up a foundation for the sole purpose of paying themselves admin fees and finally finding a way to not work for a living. And for not once standing up to Casey for Caylee. If Casey killed Caylee or not her years of lying and than complete silence in helping to solve the “case” shows the level of depravity this family see’s as “NORMAL”.
Boo Hoo George, if you don’t want to be scrutinized then stay the F@###k out of the spotlight. I know that’s how you earn your living, but you can’t have your crabcakes and privacy too.
These blog sites aren’t to make money or fame, they are people who care for a dead child, whose family has obviously already turned away from.

Wow blink, How do you really feel? This has been a long time coming. Every thought you wrote is how I have felt. I almost felt quilty about my feelings for the Anthony’s after your article about not hating the Anthony’s. I have to say I don’t hate the Anthony’s at all. I do hate what they have done to other people by trying to protect their daughter. I am the last person able to judge them. I have a son who is prison. As an adult he got involved in drugs and then needed to sell them to be able to use them. Do I condone what he did? Hell no. Do I still love him? With every inch of my soul. He deserved to be arrested for what he did. I made no excuses for his behavior. He was an adult he made that choice. He is paying the price for his actions. I thank God that he was arrested at least he is still alive, there was nobody physically harmed. Just his mother’s heart. He does get out this year right before Christmas I can’t wait. He will tell you being arrested and being held accountable for his choices was the best thing that could have happened. He has completed a drug program in the federal prison where he is at and is ready to become a responsible adult. I know he can do this. I don’t understand when the Anthony’s state they can’t go see their daughter. Nobody could keep me away. I only see him a couple times a year because he is in Kentucky and I am in Nebraska. He needs to know I love him and support him so he can succeed. I wish the Anthony’s could have been strong enough to hold their daughter accountable for her actions. I strongly feel Casey was a time bomb ready to go for a long time. They truly failed her and Caylee. George and Cindy Anthony know this in their heart but can’t take the responsibilty themselves for their actions. Well thanks for listening. This may sound wierd but you wouldn’t believe how much better I feel after reading your article. It is like someone finally called them on their behavior and isn’t trying to coddle them just to get a story. Love it. Happy New Year Keep up the good work. love ya Kim
