Caylee/Casey Anthony Case: George Anthony Is Under The Microscope

George Anthony can stands all he can stands and he cain’t stands no More!

George Letter

Yesterday, in an exclusive interview with Fox’s Holly Bristow, George Anthony read aloud a letter he wrote over Thanksgiving regarding his and his families plight of living “under the microscope.”

This is the same Holly Bristow that Cindy parked her SUV in rush hour traffic, ran to her news van, banged on the window and shaking her finger screamed to the driver that Holly would NOT be getting any more exclusives.

You can find Dr. Lillian Glass’s assessment of George’s appearance here.

Apparently George feels there is plenty of blame for his strife including bloggers looking for their 15 minutes of fame. Huh?

It would seem to me that in George, Lee and Cindy Anthony’s initial 15 minutes of LAME, they begged the media, the public and Law Enforcement to look for Caylee Marie Anthony THEIR WAY and without any scrutiny of the possibilities of how she got THAT WAY.

The Blinkoncrime contributing editors would like to remind Mr. Anthony that to our knowledge, the only thing that landed under a microscope in the search for his murdered granddaughter was her hair with a deathband at the proximal end; removed from his daughter’s trunk.

The rest of the scrutiny, sir, is of your OWN DOING.

You S O L I C I T E D help from OCSO.

You S O L I C I T E D help from the media.

You S O L I C I T E D help from the public.

You S O L I C I T E D help from the Padillas.

You S O L I C I T E D help from TES.

You S O L I C I T E D help from Private Investigators.

What utterly jams me about you people is your unmitigated gall that you think you can control events.

You have treated anyone in any capacity as if they should open their mouths, take the Anthony spoonful and ignore your hand in our wallets in the process.

You solicited public funds without a license to do so and misled thousands as to where your GRANDDOLLARS were going.

I would ask you how many granddollars your dignity cost you but as I have noted in an earlier “Microscope View” you were devoid of it before Caylee was murdered.

You have openly admitted to following witnesses in this case.

You directed Dominick Casey to spend the bulk of his time trying to dig up dirt on the very people your daughter duped for years; not to find Caylee mind you, but to take the heat off Casey.

How many decent people have YOUR efforts put under the microscope?

Mr. Anthony, I began work on Caylee’s case LONG before I had ever written about it because she was M I S S I N G. I put together a research team and we busted our humps daily to help find her, and to stop you and yours from using her as your personal ATM.

The fact is, these “bloggers” for the most part, all did more to find your granddaughter than you or any member of your family ever has.

When she was found and OCSO and the FBI spent 72 hours straight at the site to make sure they had all this baby’s bones what did you do?

You called the very people whose hands extracted almost every teensy bone of this cherub “effing flunkies” and ordered them out of your house.

What you, your family and cronies have never understood, is that THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU. I don’t give a whip if you pierce your pinky toe. I don’t care about any of your proclivities whatsoever.

What I VERY MUCH care about, is justice for Caylee Marie Anthony.

My team and I will work as diligently as we always have to ensure she gets it and that her legacy is restored.

As long as you continue to publicly lie, omit, evade and demonstrate your overall inability to accept what has happened to your only grandchild at the hands of your daughter, you can expect a slot on my slide at every opportunity.

You knew on July 15. I could throw a rock from your roof to where Caylee laid in festering garbage. Shame on You.

You want out of the spotlight? Tell the truth. You might even try it before Dominick Casey cuts a deal and tells it for you.

IMO IMo The murder trial seems like it will be the crown jewel for Baez. At this point really I don’t believe that Casey’s sentence matters very much to him. His place in history is the motivation, even with a guilty verdict his clout as a media sideshow is assured. Unless someone else can persuade him to do otherwise, bet this will get even crazier toward that trial.
Given the mania that somehow gets whipped into a frenzy by the casey/george/cindy supporters, sure seems like a sequestered jury would be a good idea. If all this effort was put out for pre fraud trial confusion I can’t imagine the extent of the things that might go on at the time of a DP case. Not only are there the usual suspects vying for attention, conspiracy theories, Grund haters, additionally there will be the element of folks that don’t like the DP and will probably join forces and lend support purely to show argument against that.
I would think that sequestering might be the only way to keep it untainted but what do I know! But you asked…j

There were a range of reports about Casey Anthony today

One of the reasons that Thursday’s court hearing isn’t a go is because, Andrea is scheduled to be in Chicago the night before signing books. At Barnes and Noble Jan 20 at 6:00 pm.

  8. Sue says:

I know I have written about this once before on another thread of Blink’s, but I feel that it is worth repeating. As this case moves forth with all its ups and downs, I think that what draws us in so much is the make up of each person involved in this massive cover-up of the death of a little girl. I liken it to “The Seven Deadly Sins.” And I feel that sub-consciously, this is what makes this case such an emotional one for all of us who blog and try to figure out how and why there is so much exploitation involved over little Caylee’s death.

    The seven deadly sins are:

Pride – which translates to the absence of humility and/or humbleness. There is no humility on the part of the people who perpetuate the falsehoods of this case.

Lust – temptation that is uncontrolled. This is like a warning light
that looms in the darkness for this case. So much of this going on – it detracts from the realities of seeing what really took place and why.

Envy – So much jealousy of what another person has. What someone is perceived to have had was so important that a little girl was murdered because of it. (One of the reasons – but a big one.)

Sloth – Emotional apathy – Through inactivity or idleness, one invites the desire to sin or get into mischief. That is an understatement in this case, but if the mind and body was busy working, then a little girl might be alive today.

Anger or Wrath – Uncontrolled can affect social well-being not only of oneself, but of others too.

Greed – The need to acquire more that one needs or deserves.

Gluttony – Over indulgence to the point of waste. There is moral backlash when confronted with the reality of those less fortunate.

I can easily point fingers at those of this case that each sin pertains to, but I think we all know this case well enough and the players involved well enough that I don’t need to name names. They would have to look deep into their inner cores to find any moral or spiritual integrity.

I feel that this is why we continue to discuss this case and hope that one day someone who cared for Caylee will have a light-bulb moment and break down and admit the truth. That is what is crying out to be heard.

EXCLUSIVE: Casey To Be Offered Deal In Fraud Case
    Posted: 4:47 pm EST January 19, 2010
    Updated: 5:14 pm EST January 19, 2010

ORLANDO, Fla.– Until now, Casey Anthony has never admitted to a shred of guilt, but Eyewitness News has learned there will be a plea deal in her check fraud case.

Casey still faces charges for murdering her daughter and the outcome of the plea deal could affect that case, as well.

    cont.

  11. artgal16 says:

wesh.com is reporting that a plea deal has probably been struck
and that Casey Anthony will please to ONE count only, possibly
    of the check fraud charges.

  12. Kleat says:

OrlandoEast by whoever it is, has posted today the typical family rant of innocence, forced plea, ‘misunderstanding’ about the use of cheques apparently, oh and ‘double jeopardy by proxy’, the sum ‘paltry’ and the case ‘petty’.

    Quote:

“The rumor mill has gone wild again.
    (1) Nothing has been decided as of this time.
    (2) Not all people who plea are guilty. Again this was a petty issue (basically a misunderstanding between friends) where every penny of the paltry sum was paid back.
    (3) Again, for those of you with an ounce of sense, this petty case was being used by the Persecution to muscle Casey on their baseless murder trial (for which there is no objective evidence).
This petty case is being used as a form of double jeopardy by proxy.

  15. Kleat says:

Now we see why the defense did not depose Amy under oath– because now they can spin to the media, as OrlandoEast is doing, that this was a misunsderstanding that caused Casey to think she could use Amy’s cheques as well as her car, and that if they depose Amy under oath, that will be on record now and likely in discovery and made public.

The defense wants to be able to spin the same line as OrlandoEast– a misunderstanding where the money was paid back as soon as the misunderstanding was discovered. (we know that’s not true, just look at the date that Baez paid the bank back on behalf of his client– not very soon after the ‘misunderstanding’ for sure).

Casey will never admit to guilt because no one else will make her– it’s just a plea because she’s railroaded into it for the ‘baseless murder trial with no objective evidence’ (another OE statement today)

Paid back as soon as misunderstanding surfaced?? Took a year for the ‘misunderstanding to surface’ as the Bank Of America Corporate Security VP, Senior Investigator’s letter is dated July 15, 2009.

Besides, how can someone assume they have permission to forge identity? If Amy gave permission for that, she could hardly bring the charges forward.

If Casey pleads to the murder charges, she will be martyred for her sacrifices to her baby by her family and the ‘caylee is alivers’ crew.

  19. Kleat says:

(Baez delivered the money order to the Bank of America by Friday, July 10, 2009 and in jail videos, Cindy talked to Casey about the stealing and Amy’s cheques, ‘tell Amy I’m sorry’, Casey said she’d lie, steal, whatever she had to do. So why didn’t Cindy and George go pay Amy back on behalf of their daughter, ASAP and call it a ‘misunderstanding’ way back then?)

  21. MarcyDancer says:

The more I hear and see this messed up family, the more I really wish that I was on the jury. I mean, lets look at this. George, Cindy and Lee all say that Casey is innocent. And really, the “people” all see things differently. So wouldn’t it be almost magical if Casey be proven not guilty and she return to the loving arms of George and Cindy. To forever live under their roof. So that George and Cindy can wake up each morning knowing that their loving daughter is sound asleep safe and sound in the room just down the hall. And that their loving daughter would never have to say another word concerning Caylee, well because “the people” freed her. cindy and George would never have to seek the truth ever again, because they are perfectly fine with mistruths. So, they can go on hearing all the mistruths for the rest of their lives. Could be intresting. Not enough for me to ever buy any book they write, but interesting done the less.

Just a thought. I still want justice for Caylee, and I am now leaning toward justice not only being Casey convicted, but the Anthonys shut down as well. They are toxic

  27. Todd in Tulsa says:

718 kleat, I would think this could easily be shot down, and to expand on Casey feeling ‘entitled’ to take another’s identity, or use their bank books, I would think that if that were the case, Amy would have to call the bank and allow Casey, or anyone for that matter, to install their name on the account, in order to access it. Also, if Casey truly felt she was allowed access to Amy’s account, she wouldn’t have signed with both names on different occassions..my opinion ofcourse

  28. artgal16 says:

Can someone describe what happens then if she pleas? Will she have to stand up in court and the judge will ask her how she pleas and she has to say guilty? Or doesnt she have to appear at all for the plea
and will a sentence be passed on her immediately – in an open court?

  29. Darth says:

so if she accepts a plea deal does that mean the defense still get’s the cash from where ever it’s coming from? Will she be a FELON going into her trial?

  30. Thinker says:

#715 – I agree completely Kleat – that is exactly why they did not depose Amy and get her depo transcript on the record and into Discovery (the public)!

I hope that whenever the Defense tries to spin the Amy H. check fraud evidence into a “misunderstanding between friends”, that any reporter worth their salt will reply with the fact of Amy’s AFFIDAVIT which states she is the “victim” of the CRIME (not a misunderstanding), and she wants the fraud case to go forward, and soon!

  32. Orlandoan says:

And was it not Cindy herself who warned so many of Casey’s friends to watch out because Casey would steal money from them? This was before Cindy knew of the real charges forthcoming about the check fraud.

And wasn’t it George and Cindy who thought the fee for the towing company was exorbitant?……and now Orlando East (?Cindy?) calls the money Casey stole from Amy a “paltry sum”!

And what did that trunk smell like again, Cindy?

I know chica. I am curious about this person’s assertion that Cindy admitted to using multiple cleaning agents in the trunk. I do not recall reading that in any transcripts. My question is: did this person make up this idea (taking hints from posters who assumed this could have happened), or does this person have an inside track to the Antnonys and did Cindy admitted doing a “serious scrubbing” of the trunk if you will? Again, I don’t recall Cindy telling detectives she used numerous cleansers in the trunk. If she did, it would seem somewhat sinister based on the fact that she said it smelled like a dead body, and police had not investigated yet. The person who posted that may be full of shit and have no connection to the Anthonys at all. But if she does…?

Can anyone with great recall, or research skills pull out any testimony that Cindy said she used cleaning products in the trunk? Do you remember this Blink??

    Per Blink from field:
Cindy has never admitted cleaning the trunk , but Casey told Amy or Annie she had cleaning products “back there”.
George and Cindy have both specifically denied cleaning the trunk, however Blink thinks in Cindy’s last depo she may have said she sprayed febreeze in it, and recalls her saying she wiped down mama’s face with a baby wipe.

In her opinion, she expects either Cindy or George to cop to cleaning the trunk.

  34. westsidehudson says:

    nd did Cindy admitted doing

    or Cindy admitted.

  35. Mix from NC says:

Obviously Amy’s definition of “misunderstanding between friends” and Cindy, George and Casey’s definition is 2 totally different things…..usually you don’t press charges for FRAUD & THEFT against your Best Friend for a “misunderstanding”.

  36. westsidehudson says:

“In her opinion, she expects either Cindy or George to cop to cleaning the trunk.”

Maybe she has already, just not in testimony. It sounds better that she did it “unknowingly, as a clean freak” vs. Casey doing it to clean up evidence knowingly.

I thought that I would have recalled such an astonishing revelation had Cindy already said that she cleaned the trunk in the past. We still don’t know of any connection between those posters and the Anthonys though. I wonder if LE knows, or even cares??

in my persoal option on the check fraud case, I think the just will with hold judification and give her time served for the checks only for the following reasons. 1. she has done more than a year in jail, 2. she repaid restutition to the bank, the most she might have to pay is court fees and fines. Manner of death: HOMOCIDE

IDENTIFIED BY: BASED ON NUCLEAR DNA COMPARISON DONE BY THE FBI LABORATORY (SKELETAL SPECIMEM FOR IDENTIFICATION: RIGHT TIBIA)

  40. NoseyRosey says:

Are we really to believe Casey took a plea on fraud charges because her hand was forced? By Casey’s book she will NEVER plea on murder charges because she is innocent- she can’t have it both ways. Casey and her attorneys have come to terms with the fraud case- they have weighed their options and realized they couldn’t win- so they plea. They can spin it however they like, but the truth is Casey and her attorneys made the right decision for once. They are actually facing the facts for once. They are feeling the truth for once. Of course they will spin it in the media, but they know we know they did what they HAD to do.
It is actually a victory for the prosecution in my book- they now see how Baez and team work. Talk a big game, but on game day bench the star player and tell the world “she” was hurt and they would’ve won the game had “she” played.
On another note- referring to the letter to the judge-
Why aren’t George and Cindy releasing information concerning the whereabouts of Zenaida and her family? Why aren’t they using their “air time” on the talk show to let people know her last known address and asking for help finding her? Why don’t they put Zenaida under a microscope?

Blink has always maintained the defense had no choice but to plead the fraud case.
This was expected. Per Blink: Feb 1st will be the non-revelation that there is a Zenaida, different than the “current” thought, and the defense will present that info as “exculpatory.” Meaning Casey acted in some sort of good faith basis for her accusations. They think this will negate the civil case without her actually having to testify, and fulfill the burden currently due Feb. 1. Blink said this with a bag ( as if laugh) at the end.

Won’t Amy testify at the murder trial? And the prosecution asks “Amy how do you know Casey?” Amy says “well for starters she emptied my bank account without my permission. I know her as a thief.” This has not been said yet, just my imagination going wild.

  50. new says:

The misunderstanding should have been cleared up with Amy when Casey picked her up from the airport. Did that happen? No.. There was no misunderstanding Casey has been a felon all her life. She has stolen from from her Mother, brother, Grand Mother and FAther. The only difference was this time she got caught. Amy had the courage to report the theft. Something Cindy should done long ago.. . Cindy should thank Amy for her courage instead Cindy has tried to implicate Amy in Caylles murder.
