Caylee/Casey Anthony Case: George Anthony Is Under The Microscope

George Anthony can stands all he can stands and he cain’t stands no More!

George Letter

Yesterday, in an exclusive interview with Fox’s Holly Bristow, George Anthony read aloud a letter he wrote over Thanksgiving regarding his and his families plight of living “under the microscope.”

This is the same Holly Bristow that Cindy parked her SUV in rush hour traffic, ran to her news van, banged on the window and shaking her finger screamed to the driver that Holly would NOT be getting any more exclusives.

You can find Dr. Lillian Glass’s assessment of George’s appearance here.

Apparently George feels there is plenty of blame for his strife including bloggers looking for their 15 minutes of fame. Huh?

It would seem to me that in George, Lee and Cindy Anthony’s initial 15 minutes of LAME, they begged the media, the public and Law Enforcement to look for Caylee Marie Anthony THEIR WAY and without any scrutiny of the possibilities of how she got THAT WAY.

The Blinkoncrime contributing editors would like to remind Mr. Anthony that to our knowledge, the only thing that landed under a microscope in the search for his murdered granddaughter was her hair with a deathband at the proximal end; removed from his daughter’s trunk.

The rest of the scrutiny, sir, is of your OWN DOING.

You S O L I C I T E D help from OCSO.

You S O L I C I T E D help from the media.

You S O L I C I T E D help from the public.

You S O L I C I T E D help from the Padillas.

You S O L I C I T E D help from TES.

You S O L I C I T E D help from Private Investigators.

What utterly jams me about you people is your unmitigated gall that you think you can control events.

You have treated anyone in any capacity as if they should open their mouths, take the Anthony spoonful and ignore your hand in our wallets in the process.

You solicited public funds without a license to do so and misled thousands as to where your GRANDDOLLARS were going.

I would ask you how many granddollars your dignity cost you but as I have noted in an earlier “Microscope View” you were devoid of it before Caylee was murdered.

You have openly admitted to following witnesses in this case.

You directed Dominick Casey to spend the bulk of his time trying to dig up dirt on the very people your daughter duped for years; not to find Caylee mind you, but to take the heat off Casey.

How many decent people have YOUR efforts put under the microscope?

Mr. Anthony, I began work on Caylee’s case LONG before I had ever written about it because she was M I S S I N G. I put together a research team and we busted our humps daily to help find her, and to stop you and yours from using her as your personal ATM.

The fact is, these “bloggers” for the most part, all did more to find your granddaughter than you or any member of your family ever has.

When she was found and OCSO and the FBI spent 72 hours straight at the site to make sure they had all this baby’s bones what did you do?

You called the very people whose hands extracted almost every teensy bone of this cherub “effing flunkies” and ordered them out of your house.

What you, your family and cronies have never understood, is that THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU. I don’t give a whip if you pierce your pinky toe. I don’t care about any of your proclivities whatsoever.

What I VERY MUCH care about, is justice for Caylee Marie Anthony.

My team and I will work as diligently as we always have to ensure she gets it and that her legacy is restored.

As long as you continue to publicly lie, omit, evade and demonstrate your overall inability to accept what has happened to your only grandchild at the hands of your daughter, you can expect a slot on my slide at every opportunity.

You knew on July 15. I could throw a rock from your roof to where Caylee laid in festering garbage. Shame on You.

You want out of the spotlight? Tell the truth. You might even try it before Dominick Casey cuts a deal and tells it for you.

Thank you for that! All the Anthony’s have are the me,me,me,me and me attitude. The funds must be drying up. If they want to be left alone once again as always stay away from the media. What a hypocrite George is. He needs to take his pity party to another planet. The public is not this naive. I’d go on but I think you all are aware of the gist of it. Thanks

IMO..those bold fake diamond earrings are repulsive on a man..even more on George…does he think he is SNOOP DOG? YUK…Cubic Z’s…I am sure….or you can bet…that Cindy’s would be bigger!

God Bless Caylee. Justice is coming if not in small pieces for now.

Blink that is where I have always stood on this whole issue and case, that is why I am angry, frustrated, sad, PO’ed, everything…I think with that one gesture from the A’s so much would go away for them, why can’t ole Bradley ( who they seem to respect) explain that to them? Can anyone?

Imagine the relief if they would just say this is ugly for Casey, we love her, but we love Caylee too and in her honor we stand by her because she was defensless in all of this, Casey was a grown up when this went down, Caylee was a baby with no say so, why is that so hard to recognize?

I need therapy to understand this…any therapist in this house, call me I need session….

  6. Kleat says:

Quoting Lillian Glass (Blink link in the article):

“BLAMING THE MEDIA George says “ The Media as it is today would rather report the wrong in the world then collectively reporting something good.” Well George, the media is reporting something bad about your daughter because something bad happened. That is what makes it news. If Caylee would have been found and not murdered, that would have been news as well- good news! Everyone would have rejoiced!

DOING SOMETHING FOR CASEY When George said that he got his ears pierced for Casey, because she told him that his earlobes would look good pierced two years ago, I could see how much control Casey had over him. What does a late conservative looking, 50’s something man need with pierced ears? If he really wanted to do something for Casey and truly believed in her innocence, he would have done something for her like show up at the jail and tell her he loved her and leave. He could kiss the glass partition or the TV Screen to show his love and leave. But he has been absent way too long. So what if he is scrutinized! He needs to go there and show her his pierced ears and tell her that he supports her. He needs to show her the Caylee tattoo, which he spoke about so lovingly. He says in the tape that he wants to go there more than anything. My response is GO! Show up! That would be doing something for her. But what George really could have done for Casey was to give her a dose of Tough Love when she was out of control. Then she wouldn’t be behind bars today for possibly murdering his granddaughter. ”

  7. Kleat says:

and at the bottom of the article, Glass sums up this thought about George and visits to Casey:

“I think that not visiting Casey in jail it an excuse. Deep down he probably doesn’t want to even look at her knowing what she probably did to the love [o]f his life- Caylee Marie Anthony.”

DEBI~ far be it for me to interject myself into your post but it makes me afraid, very afraid that if too much emphasis on Gindy’s (they need a celebrity dual name) studs and what have you…we might next see..(gasp) piercings . As we all know that can mean a whole lot of hidey holes and in yo face, look at where I got pierced behavior.

Personally I couldn’t take it. If I have to start commenting on a tongue stud ( or worse)I’ll go insane. Let’s just say a little prayer that it stops with the earrings. (lol on ur post)

I’m curious, under Florida law are the Anthony’s required to produce an annual report for their foundation? If so, and as a non-profit, would that be considered public record?

Yes and Yes. However, the trust was actually not a non-profit, I am referring to the first one.

The old saying VICTIMS NEVER GET BETTER certainly applies to the Anthony family. I don’t see them getting better in the forseeable future either. I guess it’s easier for them to shut the door on reality than to dare take a peek inside the room of truth! They have worked very hard to become the least likeable family in the country. They are truly victims, but only of their own crimes.

Blink your comment about LE down on their hands and knees collecting all of baby Caylee’s little bones was striking…what comes to my mind also is while LE was doing that, Cindy and George were staying at the Ritz paid for by the media…dining on crab cakes…

Also your comment about the Anthony’s using Caylee as their personal ATM was right on…

    Thanks Blink!!!

An original member of my team came up with that, she is one sharp cookie.

May I post the summary quote, which won’t be a spoiler for those who haven’t read the article I hope, but this last paragraph is indeed able to be a stand-alone!

“At the conclusion of his impassioned speech, George announced that published, autographed copies of his essay were available free with purchase of Andrea Lyons new book, “Angel of Death Row,” out in the lobby. Also available (for the right price): Cindy Anthony’s “Guide to Public Relations,” Jose Baez’s “Mouthbreathing for Dummies,” and replicas of Casey’s “Mother of the Year” plaque.”

  24. Todd in Tulsa says:

I wonder if George was blaming the media and everyone else but the true culprit when they had their hands out accepting $200,000 for blood photos, free cruises, crabpuffs, and more. Obviously the entire Anthony family enjoy using and exploiting anyone they choose, and when that individual, or in this case, “the media”, has served it’s purpose, they are tossed aside by the Anthony’s, as they search for another host to bury their parasitic tentacles in. Hey George, kind of like the same way your poor, mistreated daughter did to an innocent 2 year old who asked for nothing from anyone, except for love and security, and when she had served Casey’s purpose, she got rid of her.

You know, I read that Mr. Hornsby (aka whatever kb he was borrowing at the time), told me to ‘put a sock in it’.

This article has done that for me– metaphorically speaking. I feel absolutely satisfied for Blink and team’s words here. Nothing to add, the psychologist’s viewpoint adds another dimension to expose this behaviour over the course of the case, and the little parody of ‘books’ by the A-team (apologies to Mr. T, no disrespect intended) round out that aspect of the sham.

This is a good feeling, and it’s gotta make Blink feel good for expressing what so needs to be expressed.

jvrmemory, ‘ditto’… your visual of ‘YEEEESSS! January 8, 2010 at 10:54 AMCaylee’s Answer to JoJo’s “Living under a microscope”

First of all JoJo, you and CiCi have choices I had none!

I was 7 months into my growth inside my mother before I was even recognized as a child, prior to that I was a “tumor” remember that JoJo?

The tension and dysfunction began right from my birth as I was handed to CiCi before my own mother. I heard the fights over this….I lived the tension!

Do you know JoJo what it feels like to know you were never wanted by your own mother? She did not want me you and CiCi did……to a point!

As a baby I was cute, used to show off and was more like a baby doll to my mother!

As I grew …. I heard and saw the dysfunction in our family……the screaming fights,,,,,,the awful words and insults that were slung at each other! I slept in beds with my mother and men she barely knew! I was drug around to parties and places where no child should be!

CiCi got tired of being “stuck” with me…..yes she wanted me but on her terms at her convenience…not 24-7.

As time passed the fighting among you all was unbearable and I heard it all! My name was always somehow involved in the fights………WHY was I here? WHO wanted me?

The end of my short life was the worse, I was passed around from place to place….left alone so my mom could party and have fun! I was an obstacle in her path to happiness and she made darn sure I knew it! You all knew that I was in danger…..that I was not receiving the proper care….but oh well the Anthony motto is ME ME ME and ME that is what is important….self!

Under A Microscope? What about in a dark HOT trunk? Or under a bunch of vines and branches soaking wet being torn to shreds by animals and having bugs crawl in every opening in my body? What about watching my own mother take from me the air that I needed to breath? Duct taping my nose and mouth? All the while screaming at me how worthless I was and how she would show you and CiCi? Listening to her tell me how I was responsible for ruining her life?

Funny thing JoJo, In the end that is exactly where I ended up UNDER A MICROSCOPE…..LITERALLY in the Coroner’s office……..UNDER A MICROSCOPE!

I feel no sympathy for you or CiCi…..you let me down………..keeping my mother happy
was your only concern……..you saw this coming both of you…. yet you did nothing to protect me! I was innocent, a child! All I required of you was love and protection and you ALL FAILED ME!

Now I am gone, in a loving carefree place! I rest in the arms of Jesus………….

You are left to do what you do best…..lie, scheme and use me against each other…..profit financially from my tragic death!

UNDER THE MICROSCOPE………..I DON’T LIKE WHAT I SEE!

George is beginning to look and sound like a bit of a simpleton.

  38. kortni says:

George is just so pathetic. He reminds me of a little boy that is being bullied. No one likes him and everyone picks on him because he is so weird. Then he does something he thinks will garner some good attention, but he makes it worse because he buys the wrong brand of shoes or gets his ear pierced after everyone has moved on to nipple piercings.

George states that 9 out of 10 people are gracious. Well, I believe this because I believe that the majority of people are not raving lunatics. If I ran into George, I would probably just nod my head and smile a little bit. So, yes, I would be gracious, but that doesn’t mean I would play with him at recess.

I have this fantasy in my head. The next time I see George on TV, he bows his head and says, “I’m sorry”. Imagine the next day in the Target parking lot. People would be high-fiving him. People would be putting him in friendly head locks and giving him noogies. People would be yelling, “Atta boy Georgie!”. And, I can picture him blushing like a little girl, looking at the ground and kicking the sand saying, “Oh golly”.

  39. mclayton says:

    Blink,

I read on another site today that the essay was prepared for presentation at a seminar earlier last spring.
Their name was listed as presenters of ” Living under a Microscope”. The Anthonys were later removed as presenters, so did George lie once again? Has anyone else read that?

    BRILLIANT.
I have been waiting for someone to post this all day. That said, I am not going to allow 1000 posts recalling the venue. The hosts are honest people, who have actually turned the death of their child, into a life of advocacy.

I was just recalling the statement made by Casey in one of the initial police interviews. “Why wasn’t an amber alert issued”? This would actually be humorous if it wasn’t so tragic. Apparently Casey didn’t research the missingkids site well enough. Going just on memory what has been well documented facts, she would have learned that the strongest chance of finding the kidnapped/missing child decreases significantly after the first 48 or 72 hours. Casey waited until the first 744 hours to report Caylee missing, and it wasn’t even she that reported it

  45. reinin says:

Thank you for this, Blink. We have been waiting for you to let loose.

If George can find 9 out of 10 who have heartwarming thoughts, then they should stay in Orlando. Miami will not be so sympathetic. I really have never understood why the “team” seems to think it will fare any better here. Come on down. Or… bring some of us up there…

For the Anthony’s to not thank the many searchers nor to thank LE who painstakingly scooped up the little baby, spread in the muck, is inexcusable!

I am so, so sorry for them, that they cannot see that everyone wanted a better outcome. Do they really think this is the end result that anyone wanted?

    Lol, waiting?
    Really?

  46. Sue says:

I have this picture in my head of a jailhouse visit between Cindy, George and Casey. For me these are three ticking timebombs and Casey would be the first to blow! Baez knows this and does not want to take the chance and has advised the Anthonys accordingly. I don’t even think the Anthonys trust themselves. They cannot take the chance of something coming out before trial. At least not that way. I’m sure something will come out because of all the “festering” emotions, but at least it won’t be caught on jail tape. Right now “love” is not what they are feeling towards eachother.

  47. Todd in Tulsa says:

Sorry, just another recall moment. I found it intriguing and telling when Casey and George were talking on the jailhouse video phone, and George asked Casey how she was doing. Her response was, “I look like hell”. Wouldn’t someone who was more concerned with the whole notion of their child missing and feared the fact that they might not ever see their child again, make a statement of how they felt inside emotionally, instead of what their appearance was on the outside?
