Caylee/Casey Anthony Case: George Anthony Is Under The Microscope

George Anthony can stands all he can stands and he cain’t stands no More!

George Letter

Yesterday, in an exclusive interview with Fox’s Holly Bristow, George Anthony read aloud a letter he wrote over Thanksgiving regarding his and his families plight of living “under the microscope.”

This is the same Holly Bristow that Cindy parked her SUV in rush hour traffic, ran to her news van, banged on the window and shaking her finger screamed to the driver that Holly would NOT be getting any more exclusives.

You can find Dr. Lillian Glass’s assessment of George’s appearance here.

Apparently George feels there is plenty of blame for his strife including bloggers looking for their 15 minutes of fame. Huh?

It would seem to me that in George, Lee and Cindy Anthony’s initial 15 minutes of LAME, they begged the media, the public and Law Enforcement to look for Caylee Marie Anthony THEIR WAY and without any scrutiny of the possibilities of how she got THAT WAY.

The Blinkoncrime contributing editors would like to remind Mr. Anthony that to our knowledge, the only thing that landed under a microscope in the search for his murdered granddaughter was her hair with a deathband at the proximal end; removed from his daughter’s trunk.

The rest of the scrutiny, sir, is of your OWN DOING.

You S O L I C I T E D help from OCSO.

You S O L I C I T E D help from the media.

You S O L I C I T E D help from the public.

You S O L I C I T E D help from the Padillas.

You S O L I C I T E D help from TES.

You S O L I C I T E D help from Private Investigators.

What utterly jams me about you people is your unmitigated gall that you think you can control events.

You have treated anyone in any capacity as if they should open their mouths, take the Anthony spoonful and ignore your hand in our wallets in the process.

You solicited public funds without a license to do so and misled thousands as to where your GRANDDOLLARS were going.

I would ask you how many granddollars your dignity cost you but as I have noted in an earlier “Microscope View” you were devoid of it before Caylee was murdered.

You have openly admitted to following witnesses in this case.

You directed Dominick Casey to spend the bulk of his time trying to dig up dirt on the very people your daughter duped for years; not to find Caylee mind you, but to take the heat off Casey.

How many decent people have YOUR efforts put under the microscope?

Mr. Anthony, I began work on Caylee’s case LONG before I had ever written about it because she was M I S S I N G. I put together a research team and we busted our humps daily to help find her, and to stop you and yours from using her as your personal ATM.

The fact is, these “bloggers” for the most part, all did more to find your granddaughter than you or any member of your family ever has.

When she was found and OCSO and the FBI spent 72 hours straight at the site to make sure they had all this baby’s bones what did you do?

You called the very people whose hands extracted almost every teensy bone of this cherub “effing flunkies” and ordered them out of your house.

What you, your family and cronies have never understood, is that THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU. I don’t give a whip if you pierce your pinky toe. I don’t care about any of your proclivities whatsoever.

What I VERY MUCH care about, is justice for Caylee Marie Anthony.

My team and I will work as diligently as we always have to ensure she gets it and that her legacy is restored.

As long as you continue to publicly lie, omit, evade and demonstrate your overall inability to accept what has happened to your only grandchild at the hands of your daughter, you can expect a slot on my slide at every opportunity.

You knew on July 15. I could throw a rock from your roof to where Caylee laid in festering garbage. Shame on You.

You want out of the spotlight? Tell the truth. You might even try it before Dominick Casey cuts a deal and tells it for you.

    I am so glad Blink released the truth from the past. I was wondering what Dom Casey would admit regarding the A’s. I wondered what happened to his deposition? I also wonder why this has taken him so long to just come out with what really happened. If he was any type of decent person he would to set the record straight about how he knoew to look in the woods. If a psychic really guided him there why not say so? I would be doing all I could to disassociate myself with the likes of these people.

    It must be pretty big that he is counting on client privledge? I just wish he would search his heart and close his eyes and visualize Caylee.

    Saveachild…There is nothing I have read so far that cholorform was found in trash bag. I don’t believe is was a garbage bag. I think its was only for recycliables. In the bag where many cans, a paper box, plastic container, paper towels empty cig box paper receipts. Sort of like green garbage that you would recycle. No food was found that I am aware of, but the paper towels contained grave wax (early human fat decomp) and THC. Oh I almost forgot magot and parts of flies.

  4. new says:

    tammyinloylld…I believe if there was such a list it would have been a get out of jail free card for Casey. Can you imagine Zenidas handing writing and list in the hands of the Defense. Proof in writing of Nannys existence. If the Defense had such a list and they kept this information quiet how unethical that would be to keep her in prison all this time. I believe the list was just like Caseys office at Universal nonexisitent. In other words a lie.

    I may go Barnes and Noble to read Furmans chapter on Casey. This the second time I have read that when he meets George and Cindy that he says you know she is dead and George nods yes and Cindy cries. In August of 2008. Wow Mark is the man. So how much tax payers money was spent on the search for Caylee after that?

    I feel for Kronk. No good deed goes unpunished. I think he is in for a very rough ride from the Defense. They are really trying to ruin his credibility. Do you think he would kill someonme for a bag of weed? They are trying to say he is a hit man for the drug mob. Juicy stuff but come on now for a bag of weed. I know Kronk has to eat but one bag is not going to buy him much food.

    In regards to #262 and the autopsy, it was concluded that Caylee was an abused child. With this, I would say that could be a plausible beginning for a motive. Just thinking out loud here, so Casey was physically abusive, did some major damage to Caylee, fearing Caylee was starting to talk, form words to sentences, and thinking Caylee would tell Cindy what had been happening when Cindy asked, knowing then Cindy would get the authorities involved, takes off for a period, seeing that it wasn’t going to heal, decided to make it resemble a “kidnapping” and some other person, which happened to be Zenaida. Willing to risk an all-or-nothing approach, decides to make it look like an abduction/murder. I wonder if that’s the reason why the computer search term ‘neckbreaking’, seeing how long a broken bone would heal. I am no detective, so this is just a possible scenario

    Thank you for your article, Blink. Your words penetrate.
    ~~~
    George Anthony of Hopespring Drive sees the world in images. Language is not his forté. He describes a life affected by those outside of him: media, press, bloggers, texters, emailers. He believes these people are seeking fame. However, his image of his treatment is a projection of his own myopia.
    George Anthony intimates that he knows the power of language as he protests the bad things that people have said to him. Yet, he does not know the power of language. In his letter, George used words as a gimmick to repeat the same phrase, “under a microscope,” as in a poorly written ode. Did he ever say “I feel this way or that”? No, he only deflected blame onto the media and everyday folks who tried to find the body of his dead granddaughter.
    Writers have responded to this case through heartfelt language with a heartfelt plea for him to see the truth. He knows the truth and has decided to handle it in his own way. He doesn’t want advice from anyone. He wants it all his way. Emotionally immature. Inarticulate, unfortunately.
    He objectifies his own feelings his family’s situation when he calls upon that very tired cliché, “under a microscope.” I doubt any blogger is gleefully calling, “Honey, I shrunk the Ants!” Our only desire is to magnify the truth. We use language, not scopes, to do just that.
    Although his metaphor is as weak as he is, George could empower himself through language. “Casey, tell the truth, immediately. We are all telling the truth.” Without that course of action, and I bow to Yeats here, he’ll only find
    “Turning and turning in the widening gyre
    The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
    Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
    Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world, …”
    Linguist Benjamin Whorf claimed that language influenced thought (and reality, or at least our perception of it). Many linguists believe we cannot think without language. George could regain the power he feels he has lost if he were to re-frame his thoughts. He could become less of a martyr and more of an advocate. (And he gingerly suggests that his kind words to others promote him to that status; there is more than one illogical thought in that concept.)
    George Anthony does not and will not accept the facts of this tragedy. If he were do so, the money would stop coming in, after a while. Opportunistic as he is, that would fulfill his nature.
    We readers were asked, “what would you do?” George, I’d turn off the microscope.
    Bravo and true to your name, masterful
    I remember Cindy saying during one of the depos how she didn’t know all the phone #’s or addresses of people including “Zanny” who watched Caylee. Cindy stated how it was Casey’s child etc…But before Caylee went missing Cindy and George “knew” Casey was a pathological liar, she stole from family, did not work, and the grandparents supported both Casey and Caylee. They had every right to step in! As a grandparent why didn’t they do anything to protect Caylee??? They keep saying what a great Mom Casey was… Casey was Taking that little angel out to parties with alcohol- and bringing Caylee to sleep over her numerous boyfriends- that is child neglect. Casey wasn’t living on her own supporting Caylee, she didn’t even work, Casey was enabled by Cindy and George and got away with “everything” wrong she did, so when she murdered Caylee she thought she would lie her way out of that too…But now it is not up to Cindy and George any longer it’s NOW up to the court and jury. How sad Caylee had no protection and lost her life over it…if only the Anthony’s would have taken custody, called authorities on Casey when she first stole from the family before Caylee went missing…Those are all RED FLAGS! Caylee would still be here…How terribly sad.
    A mentor of mine, once told me that people spend thousand of hours of their lives, believing that they know what another person is thinking and feeling, He stated that the problem with believing that “I know” what another persons is thinking is that I would probably be 98% wrong and it is none of my damn business anyways!
    I understand that everyone wants to tell him what his experience should be, but you cant. This is his experience.
  18. NosyParker says:
    I’m almost positive it was Cindy not Annie, who talked about Casey and her coworkers switching name tags for fun, stressing “they all did it”. Very doubtful IMO. A big corporation like Universal would dismiss employees for that behavior whether they were 16 old teenagers, or 20 year old adults like Casey (she was 20 when she went on maternity). It was likely a preemptive strike on Cindy’s part to bring this up. Making more excuses to explain why Casey would have a coworker’s ID in her possession. You know, there’s nothing suspicious about carrying someone else’s staff ID for a place that you haven’t worked at for 3 years.
    Someone questioned if she was fired. Docs released showed Casey was terminated for abandoning her job. She simply never showed up as scheduled after being on maternity leave. That’s what I recall.
    I agree with whoever pointed out there are strange things brewing under the surface this week.
    Hmmm the blog blitz has begun just as you said!
    Being the skeptic as I am, the purpose is lost on me. So what if somebody says there’s a zanaida here or there, it still can’t explain the evidence of Casey committing the homicide. All that obscure blab is going to find the ears of some rogue juror? I would imagine any potential juror who is a frequenter of blogs would be dismissed anyway.
    But if there is a connection, the old daisy chain deal, that leads back to some party or agent of the defense as in the myspace page, now that seems like there could be trouble for them. Surely they can’t be that dumb or are they all cut from the same cloth to think that they’re sooo smart that they can mess with that and not be linked to it.
    And I’m pretty dense, why the big drama now, aren’t we only looking at the fraud trial or does this have to do with Macaluso providing proof of another viable killer? I’m confused.
    There is no doubt in my mind the person that owns that Zenaida myspace is connected to this case in some way.
    From surfing around the web, I haven’t seen many positive responses to George’s plea at all … only at the usual pro-Anthony blogs, but they are very few … for the most part, George gave the blogs that follow this case MORE to dissect and discuss and to be appalled by … way to go George!
    One thing I’ve noticed about Anthony supporters and their blogs is their ability to turn a blind eye to all of the discovery that’s been released so far. They don’t seem to want to address the facts … but rather, criticize those who do and try to to make themselves more believable, more honorable and more knowledgeable about the case by their ridiculous claims of inside sources and exclusive knowledge … ppffft … it’s pretty outrageous what some blog owners will do to draw attention to their words and interject themselves into the actual proceedings and attempt to do the same into the Anthonys inner circle … the nuts all come out with a high profile case and this case certainly doesn’t disappoint …
    Although I realize these type of bloggers are really only looking for their 15 minutes and making a name for themselves, it urks me that they, just like the Anthonys, underestimate the intelligence and common sense of the public in general …
    I guess they just sound like braggarts to me and their BS and self-promotion just sounds like the Anthonys themselves (I see a lot of similarities) … birds of a feather and all
    Now I will get to my point:
    Thank you Blink for your thoroughness and insight, you stick to the facts and tell it like it is … you offer an open forum to educate and discuss the case and I truly appreciate it … keep on doing what you do !!
    One last comment about this ‘new revelation’ from the poster at TheCayleeDaily, again it revolves back to contact with Cindy. It makes no sense for her to jam herself into the middle of a possible ruse that could more than likely be proven by phone records. Why? Why would anyone, even a person whose child is accused of murder, be willing to contrive false leads, risking consequences? I guess I’m forgetting who I’m talking about, this will be nothing compared to what Dom Casey MAY have been doing at her bidding. Bring out the next circus ring and a bigger tent.
    I guess I am going to have to read there, I am not sure what your referencing.
  24. Word Girl says:
    Hi, Midwest Mom. Thank you for your comment.
    Perhaps I ididn’t stated it clearly, but I was thinking that if George could think of himself as less of martyr and stop blaming other people for his experiences, he might be able to feel more personal power.
    He could become less of a martyr and more of an advocate.
    I don’t pretend to know what he is thinking. I was only referring to what he had written. If language informs our thoughts, then I imagine I am getting a glimpse of his inner thought pattern.
    I agree with you. His experience is his own. He could change that if he wanted to do so. Not into my experience or yours. His own, truthful, powerful existence. Now that would be a refreshing change.
  25. Word Girl says:
    PS Midwest Mom…Glad I remembered now what I wanted to ask you. :)
    I don’t get what the Zenaida-Dora-Debasa-whomever is all about, except that it’s supposedly pointing to a real possibility of a nanny. Ok, I get that. Now what– it’s proof positive that there’s someone out there who killed the baby after absconding with her, and now that person is changing ‘his or her or their ‘ identity but not changing the Zenaida part. Right.
    If it was Casey who began the myspace page, it’s obviously not Casey now, unless Baez or the other lawyers are giving her access to their laptops via jail, or taking her directions. Baez has been a mule before. Alex…. I think coincidence… NOT.
    I would not be surprised if the defense said Tiger Woods was little Caylee’s father and paid for everyone to shut up.
    But I’m confused. The switching of ID tags doesn’t have anything to do with Casey’s “missing” lanyard which Cindy made so much of a fuss about–does it? The ID tag which later turned up in Cindy’s bedroom which I took to be the shamrock lanyard?
    After reading Valhall I am wondering if a tooth is what Cindy found that set her off on July 3rd, prompting the myspace letter and Lee out at the clubs.     Hey Blink – another thing I’ve noticed is that George uses the question form a LOT in his ramblings with people, i.e., Does it hurt me? Yes…blah blah blah. I’ve seen people before who use this format but not to the level George does.
    Has there been any professional analysis anywhere (Lillian Glass or anyone else?) that puts that type of action in perspective? In other words, is it a sign of deceit or guilt, etc? I am very curious as to why George does this so much.
    I think he does it so that he can ask himself questions he answers truthfully, to offset the barrage of lies he is telling, imo.
    B
  46. lil Lucy says:
    George: I have read and re-read your letter…No where do you mention Caylee? Why? Isn’t she the only reason your are under the microscope? Had you gone out to the swamp and stood quietly back, and shed tears for the FACT that they found this innocent sweet child, people would have cried with you, instead many of them cried without you or you daughter or your wife, or your son…Why?
    I lost both my parents, this is the chain of life if we are lucky, we don’t put to rest our 2 year old grandchildren, this is not the normal reason why they do die, at the hands of their mother! You had every opportunity to attempt to fix your daughter when you discovered she did not work at Sports Authority, you should have put a restraining order on KC, and told her she could not come see Caylee until she proved herself. Instead you let that thing you call a wife reprimand you like you had lied about your job! You failed as a father, in my opinion grand children are our second chances in life to get it right!
    You blew it by subecting her to a pathological liar and a thief! What happened between you and your thing (Cindy) was no one’s business especially your monster of a daughter, had you any sense of respect or decency you would have been the man of your house and made her mind her own business, you should never have given her a voice in your manhood. The thing that always said to you let me handle it…Handled it at the expense of your grand-daughter life! You nor the rest of you are victims, you are money hungry somethings. On any given day should I see a fellow man suffering and alone I respond with a buck or a hug, I would not piss on you or yours if you were on fire! Stay off the tv, move off the planet and let the one’s that truly care and love Caylee mourn her however way they can.
    Soon enough we the people will have given Caylee her rightfully earned say, she never wanted to die and she never asked to be.
    I would like to comment on the letter written by the prisoner/inmate. A couple of things struck me while reading that letter.
    It seemed to me that whomever wrote that letter was making a grand attempt at disguising their handwriting. Maybe that’s not even the word I’m looking for. Not so much disguise as, alter. Yes, alter is the word I think. It would seem to me you would put forth your very best effort in handwriting, when writing something such as this. The misspelled words seemed intentional. If indeed the person who wrote this writes this sloppy, then I assume there would also be a word wrong here or there, however, the words that are misspelled, well, they just seem, “set up.” As if the person who wrote it may not be as sneaky as they assumed they were. If you had been incarcerated for 14 years, and your trials and incarceration were there in Florida, Orange County to be exact, it seems to me that at the very least you wouldn’t misspell Orange??? I could be wrong, butttt????
    It also struck me the as odd the amount and “type” of information within the letter. I believe it would strike any seasoned detective as such also. First of all, out of nowhere, this guy strikes up a conversation with another inmate, and the very first thing he asks is….do you know that Casey Anthony chick? Hmmmmm…I don’t think so!!!! Also, the fact that the VERY next line was about a steroid user. Seems a little too coincidental that this letter was written at the same time there was so much talk about the Gatorade bottle and syringe a month or so ago. Both times that the “bad guy” went to the house, he looked through the window and saw Casey getting “hi”….again, I don’t think so. I think it’s also impossible to believe that someone who barely escaped a rape would grab the guys cocaine on the way out the door, not to mention his money. You would be running from him, afraid he was right behind you, so I doubt you would stop and grab his bag. Ughhh… The person writing the letter also says that the “bad guy” wasted some chloroform in Casey’s trunk, while she was running around town forging and cashing checks to pay him back. Well, first of all, it’s blatantly obvious the chloroform story is bull, just simply because it’s so ridiculous….secondly, I guess the “bad guy” didn’t specify to Casey that he wanted MONEY in return for her stealing his drugs. I’ve got a feeling that the bra and panties she wrote checks for probably weren’t for him. (That part has my finger itchy on the make a joke about virgina button)…I shall hold myself back though….ha!!
    Most importantly, or what struck me more than anything else about the letter….. I understand that inmates do have access to television, however it’s not necessarily as one might imagine it to be. The t.v. is generally hung in a corner of the “day room.” There are usually many people watching it at one time, and the t.v. is hung (in most cases) at least 15ft. or more from the chairs. My point… I don’t believe for a second that these guys are sitting around discussing the Casey Anthony case, and while it may very well have been on the t.v. here and there, and maybe even one of the hearings were played in their entirety, not only is it hard to get a great view of the t.v. in jail, but it’s also very, very noisy in jail, so it would be hard to hear. The fact that this inmate knew the exact Judge to send this letter to, that’s the part that got me thinking from the minute I saw it. Yes, I suppose the inmate could have asked a guard if they knew which Judge, or asked another inmate, or maybe even done some research on it somehow. BUTTTTTT, I find that hard to believe. It seems more likely to me that the letter would first be sent, or moreso, hand-delivered to an officer, a guard, the warden, or sheriff. The inmate could have even requested a detective come speak with him directly, because he had knowledge or information pertaining to the case.
    At this point, I couldn’t speculate on who would write the letter, or even who would encourage someone to write it. I just know thus far, there have been people who have lied on behalf of Casey, and there have been people (imo) that have come forward with information to help Casey or help the Anthony’s themselves..(JW) I would be shocked if the Anthony’s or someone related to the defense in this case were NOT the ones involved in the writing/creating and sending of this letter. I feel like the person who wrote this letter is going to regret it in a big way. I’m not sure why, considering the amount of false leads/tips, letters, etc. etc. but I feel this letter will be investigated more than other things of the same nature. I also feel that not only will it be investigated, it will be tracked back to the person that wrote it, and they will be incredibly sorry they did so. I just have a feeling this will be a HUGE hit to the defense when it’s found out where this letter originated. JMO though…
    You know Blink, when I see those big bold black letters after a post of mine, I get all giddy or something like that. It makes me feel so good to know you read these things and respond. I feel kinda like George Anthony, you know, “famous”. How does anyone know who I am so I can get my 15 minutes of fame? Little old Boz here.
    Seriously, thanks again for being a voice for little Caylee Marie!
    If not related to the case, I have mused that the Dora- Zenaida could be a developmentally delayed/disabled person. I just can’t see a 20 something thinking Dora is cool, especially one who is not a mother.??
    No way am I buying that, I mean sure there are a TON of possibilities but how likely are any of them Really..
    JMO but I think it was either set up by Casey or set up by someone on team casey (either defense team or those nutty ppl injecting themselves into the Anthony’s lives)
    Oh what I would give for that IP address….
    *sigh*
