Re: Identification of Human Remains
On February 26, 2010, the Office of the Medical Examiner for Maryland advised the Worcester County Bureau of Investigation that the human remains located in Snow Hill on February 19 were the remains of Christine Marie Sheddy.
Sheddy has been missing since November 14, 2007. Since that time, the case has been handled as a “missing person” case by the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office and the Worcester County Bureau of Investigation. Assisting in the investigation is the Maryland State Police and the Office of the State’s Attorney for Worcester County.
No cause of death has yet been determined. All involved law enforcement agencies are treating this as a suspicious death.
Because this is a pending investigation, no further details will be disclosed at this time.

Arrest of a Familiar Name
Not to correct SA Joel Todd, but Christine was last seen the evening of November 12, 2007, which is believed to be the night she was murdered at the Byrd Road Farm.
While I respect the release, I have first hand knowledge that 3 detectives from WCBI were removed from this case so you will not find me congratulating that agency. Out of respect for Christine and her family, I will leave it at that for now.
Justin Michael Hadel, a guest at the farm home shared by Clarence “Jr” Jackson and his girlfriend Tia Johnson, was arrested yesterday in Tomball, Texas on a child obligation and fugitive warrant.
There is no further comment on any possible involvement in Christine’s murder.
Clarence Jackson is currently incarcerated in Hawkins County, TN for a burglary and arson conviction.

When this all comes out in the day light ..not just the people in LE or fire investigator..but the people who perpetrated this crime and their cohorts, but those who knew about this and turned a blind eye..they are all to blame
If someone knew what happened, or was told what happened..well they too are to blame, unless they told the local LE. I am thinking everyone in this house, during that night and the next day..knew what happened. It will be interesting to find out who did report this to local LE at that time or since..and it got swept under the rug.
I am trying to say this was a conspiracy of silence..both by those involved and those in LE. Why..what was the motivating factor to keep this under the rug and to save the butt of someone like Justin or JR? There is where the true corruption lies.
Clarence Jackson has been released from Tennessee jail and is now back in the Pocomoke area. He has checked in with parole and probation and has agreed to cooperated with police in the Sheddy case.
Thanks for the update, but how do you know he has checked in with his PO?

There is an article on wboc.com that states he must fully cooperate with the murder prosecution by the terms of his probation …
Yes, which references court documents I can tell you as a fact that reporter has never seen, so I am not personally fond of that information being made public. Frustrating.

B – can you let us know when Christine is finally able to go home and her family can give her the proper services they have been waiting so long for? I just want to know they are at peace as this will ease my mind as well. Thanks.
Of Course.

Word on the local streets, some locals are very, very nervous. Now, I wonder why? Great balls of fire! I wonder why?
Yikes, Jr’s out and walkin’ around free? Holy cow.
That video of the news story on wboc.com (how funny is that–W BOC?? clue or coincidence??? lol) does show little snippets of the court document—they scan past handwritten notes that talk about cooperating with the murder investigation, or at least it looks like that. Could be a mockup I suppose.
Nope, I was corrected on my intel. For reasons I am clueless to, that information was included in the court docs by the Hawkins Cty, TN court and subject to public information. Should it have been released? Depends on the goal.
I was aware of this, as were others, and I would never have put that out, but that’s just me.

This kinda pisses me off!!!!!
Jr cooperate with the murder prosecution by the terms of his probation…..
Ok maryland how many times has he violated his probation? How many times did he not give 2 craps about violating probation?
Maryland you need to get your crap together…this man deserves to be in jail for the rest of his life.If he has something to tell he can tell it from behind bars.
How many more times you going to allow him to violate probation.
I don’t like the way this is playing out..Plus i don’t like the fact that i can not go to walmart and shop because if i were to run into him there, its probably not going to be good for him!!!
You maybe better off putting this guy under protective custody somewhere.

First, let me say for anyone reading this that your “hat” is not the dude from the dark side
I share your frustration as you know, but I would encourage you to try your best to stay calm and let this play out as it seems that decision is irreversible at this point. This is a very volatile situation and I am concerned for the good people of Pocomoke that do not deserve this.

Do we know if Hadel is still locked up? Somthing’s not adding up. Is it possible Hadel did it and Jackson said “I know a place we can bury the body that no one will ever look”? And then when he got in a jam he squealed on Hadel?
Hey MQ
I got an idea how about you wait until the investigation is complete before you start typing your soap opera stories.Go back and read your pervious posts sit there and think to yourself before you type anything else.

I know my presence is not welcome here so I’m reluctant to post this but not sure where else to post it and I think if nothing else, this site can bring awareness to missing individuals. We (our local community) is now missing a 29 yr old man by the name of Gregory Forte. He as last seen leaving a paty in Fenwick Is. Delaware on 2/9/10. There is a $25,000 reward. He seems to have vanished in thin air.

Possible Mr. Forte ‘knew’ something or was directly/indirectly involved with Christine’s case? The timing seems kinda freaky.
I am Brian Shelton, Justin’s brother. I believe my brother maybe helped in all of this but not killed her everyone knows and says it was Jr so why does he get a deal. He only said anything after he was facing serious charges that should raise a big red flag there. Jr worked at the bed and breakfast knew the area perfect my brother was from Texas and didn’t know crap about the area. My brother has never been in trouble before especially nothing like this. Look at Jr’s record and all the coincidental mishaps that happen when he is around that can’t be explained. The police should try to lock up all involved and not just rest with my brother. If they let it go with just Justin I believe Jr will kill again he got away with it so in his head he can do it again. I feel for the next family that has to go through this because the P.D. wanted to make their deal how many families and lives have to be taken before they take him off the streets? He is going to mess with the wrong person and they are gonna give him what he deserves… Tia if I was you i would get you and them kids as far away from him as possible before you or the kids make him mad and he does the same to one of you’s that is coming from a cousin who cares and loves you… All involved if they had something to do with it should get time but they should get time for the right offense…
Mr. Shelton-
I am limited as to what information I can discuss in this case, but I will offer you this advice to pass onto your brother and his attorney.
Hypothetically only, for obvious reasons-
In the instance your brother was an accessory after the fact, and did not assist JR in Christine Sheddy’s murder and is willing to submit to a polygraph to prove it, I strongly recommend you advise him to contact his attorney to arrange same. If he has equal culpability under the law, I strongly advise you to have him speak to his attorney about developing a proffer for discussion with the DA.
If you followed my coverage of this case, you already know I have said from the beginning that whoever spoke first would get the deal.
It is beyond my comprehension why Tia and Junior have not been arrested in this case, but if I were your brother I would be very concerned about taking the fall all by himself.
He might be better off if he has any information on who JR was running around starting fires for at the time and why, to tell that story.
B
Thank you for your response, I believe all as well should be held accountable. I am going to write my brother and tell him this he is just scared and stubborn. My wife even said Jr was a very scary character as we had stayed at the farm house before but after a couple of his moods i took myself my daughter and my wife back to our trailer then left the area not long after that. The first chicken house fire was while we lived down there and Jr told us hisself he did it to get the money for the aluminum, they are menaces and need taken off the street I told my family that my wife and myself would testify to anything we know about his behavior.
