Orlando, FL– In a word, YOWZA.

I freely admit I have caught many a fly in my trache while my yap was left hanging open at some of the legal filings by Jose Baez et al, in this case.

The latest motion to suppress the recorded conversation between convicted felon and “lifer” Robin Lunceford and Jose Baez has insipred the first ever Blink Darwin Award, or, THE BLARWIN.

BaezCUBAPhone

In his Motion for a protective order to keep the call out of discovery, Esteemed Blarwin recipient, Jose Baez, claims he did not know his conversation was being recorded, and apparently, what type of phone line was being used although he states the call was transferred to his cell phone.

HOLD THE PHONE

Pun intended. It would be impossible for him to be unaware that Lunceford was not calling from the Lowell Annex. As Baez is aware, inmates at Lowell Annex MUST have the number they are calling on an approved list in advance AND they may only call collect. From Lowell Annex Rules:

Incoming telephone calls for offenders will not be accepted. In the event of family emergency (such as serious illness or death in the family) you may contact the chaplain’s office. The chaplain will notify the offender.

Offenders, except those in administrative confinement, disciplinary confinement, close management or on death row are allowed to make collect telephone calls. Offenders are allowed to place up to 10 telephone numbers on their authorized phone list. If the offender has not placed your number on the list, he or she cannot call you.

Offenders can change their phone list every six months. There are two exceptions to this policy: < ?xml:namespace prefix =”" o />

  1. If someone already on the list changes his or her phone number, the offender can have the new number placed on the list.
  2. If an offender gets married, he or she can have the spouse added to the list.

All telephone calls are limited to 10 minutes and are subject to monitoring (except legal counsel).

Of course we all know that correctional facilities cannot monitor calls between inmates and their counsel.  Ms. Lunceford is not represented by Mr. Baez, and if he were interviewing her as a prospective witness as he states, he knows full well he needs to pack the car and head on over to Ms. Lunceford’s pad after requesting the visitation officially.

BaezRobinL1 BaezRobinL2 BaezRobinL3

If the first few meatless morsels of the motion don’t grab ya, I offer my personal fave. “It is a felony”. I have news for you Mr. Baez, the State has already listened to it. This would be how it is DISCOVERABLE, or subject to discovery in the first place.

Now, you know Jose copied and pasted some of the States own verbiage from the motion regarding Joe Jordan’s snafu. A surreptitious recording in a two way notification state is not even in the same zip code as a collect call from jail with NO EXPECTATION OF PRIVACY.

Is it me or does anyone else think this was an attempt at circumventing rules at the Pokey Mr. Baez is so famous for?

You know, the ole “Im willing to have her call me collect, bein’ that I’m on the list.. I will transfer the call to you-

-signed, unknown caller to unknown number sometime in early May.

HINT: If you want to claim something is work product you might not want to disclose portions of it in your motion. It just *Might* give the appearance you don’t want the recording out but want to make an accusation publicly that favors your client.

Bottom Line: An inmate placed a collect call, subject to the rules of the facility in which she is incarcerated. As dictated by protocol, the call was monitored and is therefore subject to public release. I for one, look forward to hearing it.

After all, it did earn a Blarwin, and I was saving that all year.

    Fabulous article, Blink!!! And way to go Jose …just knew you could win some award if you just kept plugging away.

    And Ragdoll!! Hi! I have the same question: I too am curious to see what the Blarwin Award will look like …What about an artist’s impression of the “missing link”??!! In BRASS! …Or maybe Jose’s bust with BRASS KNUCKLES being inserted is his stupid mouth …..

    And Myers – your 11:24 post was great and brings up some questions I have had too.
    RE: where was Casey on the night of June 15th (post Cindy/Casey draf-out fight) …
    Didn’t Leonard Padilla state that there was some witness who saw Casey in the parking lot of some local hotel shortly after midnight pacing back and forth?? I do not see how Casey would stay in that house following the fight – …and I see it far more likely that she stormed out of the house with Caylee in tow.
    And your 4th question is right on the money:
    If Casey were home on the morning of June 16th ….why call her cell phone?? I think because the door to Casey’s bedroom was closed and locked, and she didn’t respond to Cindy knocking on the door ..and Cindy called Casey on her cell to try to “talk” and work things out the morning after the fight-night incident. But not only wasn’t Casey there …she was not picking up her cell phone either. Sort of like: let Cindy stew in her own juices …I’m not picking up the phone.

    She probably waited until Cindy left in the morning for work on the morning of June 16th to sneak back into the house. I too wonder about where George was ….perhaps with a girlfriend?? Who knows…

    I think that Caylee was in the trunk of that car from either very late the night of June 15th or very early morning of June 16th …
    For sure – that the only thing important for Casey on the 16th was meeting up for her date with Tony Lazzaro …I am still not sure about what the “flurry of phone calls” on the 16th early afternoon was all about …but I suspect that it was Casey wanting to tell Cindy and George that things were going to change now because of the fight. I think that she saw staying away from home and seemingly punishing Cindy and George with not seeing Caylee as the best way to hide the baby’s murder ..and body. She could just stay with Tony …since she clearly was practicing writing “Mrs. Tony Lazzaro.”

    I think that she always thought that she would have a way of lying her way out of “no Caylee” …as she has always used her lying to get out of things.

    Casey’s big “lucky” break (ugh!! to call it that – but that’s what it was for her) was Hurricane Fay …that kept poor Caylee’s body submerged far longer than Casey had anticipated …And I honestly think that she thought that she could get away with it (no body, no crime mentality) …And that’s why she had that reaction on Dec. 11th …

    I always think that reaction to the news of the body (Casey being the only one who knew FOR SURE that it was Caylee) was the most significant indication of her guilt – and her knowing she had been caught!!

    I also think that the story about incest/molestation was Casey trying to build the story to “mitigate” her child abuser/murderer reputation in the general population ….just in case she would ever be put in general pop.

  5. Mom3.0 says:

    I have been thinking about Casey’s accusations of sexual abuse by Lee and George. Are these allegations true?

    The first person Casey ever mentioned this to, is Jesse Grund. She never brought up her father or claimed that Lee molested her as a child. In Jesse’s interview with YM he said that Casey had told him in September of 2005 that while alone in the house together, Lee had attempted to pressure Casey into having sex with him. She told Jesse she was uncomfortable having Caylee around Lee.

    * In this conversation with Jesse, Casey never mentions Lee molesting her from the age of 12 to 15. She makes it sound like it was a one time event, and said it occurred recently- not over and over. Remember, according to Jesse’s father, RG, Casey was trying hard to get Jesse to get a house and move in together, before the marriage. RG said if you do this, I won’t perform the ceremony.

    Snipped from JG police interview:
    YM- An incident that occurred with Lee sometime ago Well I guess where Lee tried to have sex with her?

    JG- Uh Sept of 2005 Casey told me that she didnt feel comfortable with Lee being around Caylee. When I asked why she said that um, Cas Cay ….she wouldn’t expand on upon recently. I assumed it was before Caylee was born. Uhm Casey and Lee were at the house alone together and Casey and Lee attempted to have sex with her.

    YM- Did he uh did did did you get an indication on what have sex with her meant?

    JG- sighs, there was never any explanation my impression was that somehow he was trying to pressure her into it somehow That was my impression from what she was saying.

    *The next time we hear mention of Casey being sexually abused it is by Tony Lazarro.( I couldn’t find where TL directly mentions this-) According to Tony’s roommate, Nathan Lezniewicz, in his police interview. There was never any mention of Lee molesting Casey, but Tony did tell him that Casey had said George abused her when she was younger. When asked if this was sexual, NL said he did not know.

    Snipped NL police interview-

    JA- Has uh,do you recall any conversation,either with Tony or with Casey, indicating that uh did either of you uhm did uh Tony ever indicate to you, or did,did,uh Casey ever indicate that uh Lee ever tried to have sex with her or anything inappropriate?

    NL- No sir

    JA-….uh contact between them?

    NL ………..I did ask him again about it the other day just to make sure I understood him correctly. That Casey at one point had said somethings about George abusing her Uhm….

    JA- Ok

    NL
    ….Tony had relayed that to me that Casey had said that….and Casey did say that her father, George had abused her when she was younger

    JA- physically or sexually?

    NL- that I don’t know.

  6. Mom3.0 says:

    The next mention of Casey being molested is in Casey’s jail house letters to Cookie. Casey is trying hard to connect with Cookie. IMO, Just like with Tracy and the matching ankle bracelets, Casey through out the letters states again and again how much she and cookie have in common and how alike they are.

    http://www.wesh.com/download/2010/0406/23069066.pdf

    Page 5 “Sorry about the bad dream. I have been having some about my mom Not pretty………” *I am including this sentence to show Casey is both trying to bond with Cookie and is indeed dreaming about other things that disturb her. If true, maybe her subconscious, while sleeping is trying to resolve issues. JMO

    Page 8 “But as always we have so very much in common, both the good and the bad. I know how it is to be physically emotionally and mentally abused. And I also know how it feels to be sexually abused. It’s taken a long time for me to forgive and I’ve been somewhat successful in doing so.”

    * We can surmise from this statement that Cookie has already opened up to Casey about her own issues, regarding being abused on all levels. Casey IMO, is trying to show Cookie she understands and can empathize with her- but she fails IMO, as she doesn’t open up and tell her about these times specifically, or how she felt when she was abused- *

    “The worst part is, when I tried to confide in someone before, Jesse, my Mom, they turned on me.” *No mention of Tony * She mentions Jesse first but does not go into how he turned on her- Then she mentions for the first time that she told her mom-

    “I was to blame for my own brother walking into my room at night and feeling my breasts while I slept.” * If she were asleep ,she couldn’t have known* “I woke up night after night with my sports bra lifted up over my chest, or if I had on a regular bra it would be unhooked.”

    * Not to be callous, but, this could naturally happen with bras also- depends on the fit of the bra- age of the bra and movement of the sleeper, also IMO, one must take into consideration Casey’s age, she later writes it happened from 12 to 15 -lots of changes-* “Even if I was doing karate in my sleep that wouldn’t have happened.” * IMO, here, Casey seems to know this, could just happen innocently, and possibly thinks, hmm I know what you’re going to ask… but my bra would not naturally move- even if I were doing karate it should have stayed in place*

    “I woke up many times to a flashlight on my face and he would be sitting on my floor, in front of the bed, staring at me.”
    * IMO, This does not mean that Lee was sexually abusing her. Although it is strange. And I am sure it was weird if true, he could have thought he was being funny or Lee could have been scared- we don’t know- This guy still plays with SW figures.. Who knows what he was thinking????*

    Casey then writes: “This went on for over 3 years before I finally stood up to Lee and told him if he ever came into my room again I’d kill him.”* Huh,For what? His sitting on her floor shining a light in her face?- Or her waking up and finding her bra was out of sorts? She never goes into anything more- she never says Lee raped me or made me do this or that- She only said that she was asleep and he fondled her breasts- and she insinuates that she knows this happened because her bra would be askew or undone…*

    “I was 15. It started right before I turned 12.” *What started? What ended, the flash light in the face? Her not wearing a bra to bed? What?*

    “When I told my Mom about it two years ago, she made excuses, saying that he was sleep walking.” * What did she tell her? Casey never says anything happened that she knows of, she says her brother touched her WHILE she was sleeping she then says- her bras were out of sorts when she woke up… She never says she saw him touch her or that it went any further than that. She doesn’t even really say anything else happened- She jumps from he would touch my breasts when i was sleeping, to mentioning her bras as evidence, to he was shining a light in my face- not shining it on her body- but on her face- she then goes on to say she told him she would kill him? *

    Casey then writes: “Not only did she say I was lying, but when I explained everything her reaction was literally like a knife in my chest- “So that’s why you’re a whore?” I don’t think having had sex with 7 people makes me a whore, but I could be wrong.”

    * I am not sure what this is about, maybe she did have an argument with her mother where Cindy said these exact words to her IDK. Maybe she did tell her mom that Lee fondled her breasts, maybe Cindy did say these things- in defense of Lee, or maybe Casey is trying to bond with Cookie and taking pieces from Cookies life and incorporating it into the story?- It wouldn’t be the first time Casey did this.

  7. Mom3.0 says:

    Casey goes on to write Cookie: “Over the past few months I have been having really vivid dreams of things that have already happened. I think my Dad used to do the same thing to me but when I was much younger, I can see him in my room exactly the way it was when I was in elementary school and then everything gets fuzzy.”

    *Casey has been having really vivid DREAMS about stuff that has already happened?- Not memories but dreams- she writes in the next sentence- “I think my Dad used to do the same thing”…*I think? The same thing, as what? The same as with what she wrote about Lee, or is she bonding again with Cookie, and writing we are the same my dad may have done the same thing as your dad?*

    Casey goes on – “I can see him in my room exactly the way it was when I was in ES..then everything goes fuzzy. *She never says I vividly REMEMBER my dad molesting me, she writes (pp) I picture my ROOM exactly as it was and he is in my room then fuzziness? She doesn’t say I am sleeping, and he is leaning down, or he is naked or I am scared or anything that happens- She writes only about her room being the same and George standing in it not anything about the way George looks only her room.*

    She then writes: “But I wake up both sore and sick to my stomach, the way I used to feel growing up”.* Casey began this ‘remembrance’ with talk of vivid DREAMS- She has been incarcerated and ALONE without interaction for almost 2 years- It would not be unnatural for Casey to have many vivid dreams- She says she has been having dreams of things that have already happened, but she does not say these are the same dreams in which she is seeing her room and her father or Lee or anything related to molestation.*

    *IMO, She may be having dreams that disturb her greatly. Perhaps they are even sexual dreams related to her family members- that might confuse her and make her feel sick to her stomach- but if this is true, and if she were to open up with the psychologist- she may just be thankful to find out that according to many psychologists, having these types of dreams does not necessarily mean that she is remembering some long buried memory-

    Many psychologists have said that normal people have sexual dreams about family members, that does not necessarily mean they have been abused. In the unconscious—the origin of all dreams— not everything is what it seems, sexual images and feelings may have nothing to do with sex or lust; instead they may signify a narcissistic need to be seen or to be noticed as a way to compensate for a deep fear of being abandoned or ignored. Any type of incest in a dream may symbolize the desire for comfort in life. These dreams according to some psychologists, could be your unconscious wish that you need be closer to those you are dreaming about- Sexual dreams can be very misunderstood and should generally not be taken literally. Sex often represents the love, affection, and attention that is lacking in a relationship.

    Although Casey’s vivid dreams or fuzzy pictures could lead her and others to believe she was sexually molested, noone, including Casey, IMO, should jump to that conclusion as there could be a much more mundane reasons for a incarcerated person, who has not had contact with her family for over a year to be having these types of dreams and or thoughts- Especially if she has been writing another inmate that is relaying stories of her own abuse.

    Casey ends this letter with this:

    “That’s part of the reason I haven’t been sleeping very well lately. Maybe that’s part of the reason I have so much anxiety with my parents. I was able to get passed things with Lee, and it was far from easy. I saw a doctor on my own when I was 18 no one knows that I went to get help except you now. I found the courage to finally tell him that I forgave him, and you know, he never asked me what I was forgiving him for. I think he must have known. That’s why we are more friends than brother and sister, It’s easier to look on him as a friend, but even with me openly forgiving him, part of that pain will always live in me. Not knowing about my dad, its opened up a whole new case of insecurity and I don’t know if I want to know but I think I need to. Please pray for me, Why after all this time is this all surfacing? Sometimes the cynical side of me says “jokes on me” If there’s more to this is it possible that I purposely tried to forget? I grew up trying to be everything to everybody. I put on a good front but inside I was constantly falling apart. I don’t know what I would do without God or my relationship with him or my relationship with you.

    I still am not sure what to believe. I don’t know if Casey is lying about this abuse, but just want to point out that each person she has told something different. I do know Casey has been proven to be a liar.

    It bothers me that I can not take her word on whether or not she was molested. It is horrible for a victim to not be believed. But I can not take only Casey’s word for it. Especially when her case may depend on the jury’s sympathy for Casey and what she may have went through.

    - Sorry this was so long-

    The questions that will be asked of Cindy on the stand is going to blow her one sided, one tracked, casey is the mother of the year brain cells. She will be controlled on that stand like she has never been contolled before and we will all be able to enjoy the living daylights out of it. She will be put in a cinsation that I hope will sting her to the bone for all the injustice placed on her Caylee’s demise. I just wish that George could be in the court room to see her at her weakest moment and realize that it is possible for someone to stomp on her like she has stomped on him.
    I am really tired of our intelligence being insulted by the ridiculous lying they all do.
    The state will get the truth out of them on the stand because the stories they tell will not add up. They need to give up and accept what there daughter has done.
    I also would like for Cindy to get it straight about the ownership of the car and stop bullsh**** about her kids paying her for that piece of sh** car. Why does she want us to believe that Casey gave Lee one dime for that car. I really think the nut case is trying to spin a story that there is no way Casey could have put Caylee’s little body in that car because she did not have the title. LOL The lazy good for nothing girl did not have a job and I would bet my life on it that if she did have a job she was not running to Lee to pay a car note. Know stop trying to make this girl seem like something she is not.

    Lee on the stand telling Casey he loves her. Now did he do that to make her look like an a** for saying that he molested her. Or, did he do it because if he would not have looked at her and said it , then it would have made us all think he is guilty of molesting her. Any thoughts on why he would say that to her.
    My prediction: George is going to crack. It is visible that he in on the edge.

  9. ~mjaboston says:

    Myers- DITTO everything you said.
    As far as George cracking, I agree with that statement, too. But, only to the facts of what he knows, was told, about what happened to poor Caylee. I don’t believe he had anything to do with any of it. (besides the fact that he lied about the last time he saw her alive-coaxed by Cindy, no doubt)

    As far as the molestation by George and Lee, I don’t believe her story for a minute. Remember……..Casey is a chameleon! Her “pen pals” tell her their woes and she needs to reciprocate to fit in.

    I am curious to know if anyone feels there will be a Plea Bargain or will this fiasco actually see a courtroom?

  10. c10 says:

    re: george under the bus; is the defense also considering focusing on cindy? why not just cindy? why george, because he’s willing or easily duped? why just him … because they think the jury would feel more for casey and spare her ’cause of the horrible father, blah blah…crazy mom seems to be as good a defense as any, and IMO more believable based on what we’ve seen of cindy’s character, george is either a misguided fool or more clever than we give him credit for, sorry this is worded weird, i know what i mean to say( i think?)help Blink

  11. Leslee S. says:

    c10:

    I know what you are saying. And Cindy was the last person Caylee was seen with as far as we know because we have the employees of the nursing home & pictures taken there & Cindy’s mom to say that Cindy had Caylee that day. Why isn’t Baez investigating her? I firmly believe that Baez, Cindy & Conman (Conway) are all in on throwing George under the bus. I wonder if Conway would have had the same response if the defense happened to be investigating Cindy. My question is, is George ALLOWING them to use him?

  14. ~mjaboston says:

    Thanks Chica.
    Although I think it will happen, I really don’t want to see a plea because I feel she won’t get what she deserves. Anything less than LWOP would not sit well with me. Maybe the only concession the State will make on a plea is the DP and give her LWOP? (I like it)
    The only plus in a plea could be the saving of tax dollars for the State of Florida and the truth about what happened to Caylee. (Casey’s version anyhow)
    So, seeing that I don’t live in Florida (sorry Floridians) and my sense of justice is stronger than my curiosity, I say go for it and give her what she deserves!

  15. chica says:

    I too had thought that the death penalty would be eliminated although to me that would be the best! for her to age on death row! but life without parole also is another thought! She has a false sense that she will walk out on cheneys arms! perhaps fade out into the sunset with baez and live elsewhere. I think there was hanky panky between them both and maybe talk about that was his topic with lunceford maybe she (casey) told lunceford that she did baez and maybe lunceford was trying to extort money. Anything is possible ! whatever it is will not be good for him. He has more to loose than casey! his career his reputation (tainted) as it is. something very damning in those tapes and I cannot wait to see what it is. He wanted strickland off the case he got it now he got someone that will not tolerate him. I would love to be a fly on the judges wall to see his reaction. I would be a fly that would hang around his ears to see what I could hear.

  16. chica says:

    Casey cares not about george nor cindy why she is not trying to get her mom in trouble is beyond me. they had a terrible terrible relationship that is why caylee is dead to spite her mom. I beleive what the prosecution said that
    casey was the last face that caylee seen before she died. I agree with someone else commenting that there was rage in her eyes. I also believe that casey did not want to deal with potty training and waiting for caylee to fall asleep and didnt like dragging her around she wanted freedom

    What would happen if some type of evidence (Puff) were to surface such as, receipt, recorded surveillance or a witness who saw Casey in the parking lot of some local motel after the Father’s Day; after midnight in the early AM hours on the 16th of June 2008 pacing back and forth?

    The one fact that gnaws me the most about Caylee’s case are those people, her family did not alert LE until July 15, 2008 that’s 31 days!!!

    Rest in glorious peace little girl because your story has captured a whole lot of hearts and most will follow your case through until conclusion.

  18. Bees Knees says:

    myers, I think Lee mouthed, “I love you,” to Casey for the same reason he wore blue jeans and a worn t-shirt to court. It is the Anthony’s special way of giving the court/LE a big f*ck you. It is demonstrating the family’s bond and their complete lack of respect for all authority.

    “She will be controlled on that stand like she has never been controlled before and we will all be able to enjoy the living daylights out of it.” Oh myers, I can close my eyes and visualize it, and just the thought fills my body with endorphins!!! Over the past two years we’ve been insulted and emotionally abused by Cindy and the rest of them. It will be a soothing soul balm to watch them squirm under Ashton or Drane-Burdick’s mastery. I may even send a bouquet of thank you balloons to them!

    Have you all read Eggtree’s new piece, “Local Fool Finds Himself Pinned Beneath Short Bus.” Ha ha ha ha ha . . . you will die laughing.

  19. Bees Knees says:

    mjaboston and chica, I’m a peace-loving Canadian against the death penalty but in this case, I have reconsidered. I go back and forth between LWOP and the DP and I guess it just depends on which day of the week I think about it. I think Casey could live a pretty good life in prison, get an education, be “rehabilitated” so-to-speak. Do you know if LWOP in Florida really means that, or does it mean she can apply for a release after 15 or so years depending on her good behaviour? If that’s the case I think Casey could easily do 15 years and walk out of there when she’s still in her thirties, still able to have children. That would be a problem.

  21. myers says:

    Leslee9(july 21 11:30) I would bet every dime I have that the prosecutions(if this goes to trial) will rock Cindy’s world.

    I don’t know how the defense can throw George under the bus being Zanny is the one to have taken her. Does the defense think that we have all forgotten that bull**** story. It seems as if they don’t want to speak of the fictious person anymore.HUM!!!! I wonder why. Why, because the whole retarded story is made up. They are looking for anything and everything to put the blame on and they have nothing. What the group of misfits is about to get is a huge load of scientific evidence that will spin there stupid world around. Besides that,there is no getting around having a dead body
    in your car that you confirm smells by sending an email to your friend before dropping the car off at Amscot.

    George has no clue of what happen to Caylee, what he does know is he has had to lie about things, and something with this picture just ain’t right. George is the only one who can bring justice for Caylee at this point.. He needs to become a leader and start the road to doing what is right for Caylee. If he doesn’t come out,I have a feeling that later on down the road things are going to come back to haunt him in a very terrible way. George is in no way like cindy,or
    Casey. You can tell that things stay with him and bother him. He better come clean or he is going to have really big regrets.

I cannot wait to see the prosecution weave their expertise and evidence in their faces by the way they question them and make them look like the liars they are. Is it me or didnt lees clothes look unkept along with no shave and yukky hair. He just looked like he had been on a binger the night before.

    beesknees do you have the link for the mentioned short bus.

    never have I been as affected by the murder of a child at the hands of her own mother as I have here and it has been further fueled by her mother, father , brother and that inept lawyer that they won at a senior citizen bingo social.

  27. chica says:

    yes I too want to know how and why lee got immunity! because from what I have seen he is not looking like he is helping anyone but his murdering slor sister.

    oh yesssssssssssssssss I would love to see cindys world rocked and !! lil caylee didnt deserve to be killed !! she was killed for revenge and now the person she sought revenge at is now her best supporter. makes me sick.

  29. chica says:

    lol myers
    your killing me here. Between you and beesknees !! I needed some old fashioned cackling. I can just visualize cindy being whipped all over the court room.

    The defense is not going to want to go there but the prosecution is going to bring up that darn nanny story at the starting gate if this goes to trial.

    I agree with you about George. Maybe he has a conscience. Cindy, on
    the other hand, is a sociopath like her daughter.

    I am so sick of the Anthonys getting by with all that they have done.
    Why should they get any empathy over & above anyone else that has lost a loved one? So what if the Anthonys lose two loved ones? We need to remember that there are many parents who find themselves in a situation where their child has not only murdered their own spouse but their child has also murdered these parents’ grandchildren.
    Most murderers do have living parents somewhere.

  31. Bees Knees says:

    No one deserves a cruise more than Ashton or Drane-Burdick, that’s for sure! Quite the team ~ they have all my respect! And I agree with you about George. I’m not a fan of his but I think if one of them breaks it’ll be him. If the anger and anguish we saw in his “How could you?” letter to Casey was real then I hope he listens to his heart. On the other hand I don’t trust any of them and he could very well be following a script and taking notes from the director of the drama, Mr. Baez. I’ve pretty much ran out of adjectives to describe that family and the defense team.

  32. MJ says:

    Myers~ me thinks you have a great idea about the prosecution cruise, as well as the Go to jail memento for KC. As for Cindy’s gift, an orange jumpsuit would be perfect, possibly with a studded shock collar to match?
    The whole clan, including counsel, should be mandated to get ” the only real victim is Caylee” tattooed on their foreheads, so they won’t ever be able to forget.

  33. Nanaof4 says:

    Cindy has already covered the tracks of the non-existent nanny named Zanny. Remember? Zanny is a code word for whomever they can throw under the bus! That makes it very convenient because they don’t have to be bothered with Zanny the nanny anymore. Spindy has taken care of that little problem just like she has taken care of all of KC’s other little problems in the past.

  34. Nanaof4 says:

    I don’t see George stepping up to the plate any more than I see Cindy coming clean. I’m not even sure this is about saving KC as much as it is about keeping up appearances and not letting the prosecution and the media win; or at least when defending KC, Cindy can’t help but let appearances and her hate for the prosecution and media get in the way.

  35. MJ says:

    Nanaof4, Your comment is my view also, especially the part where you said “…and not letting the prosecution and the media win”. Exactly. Much of their stance seems to be about winning, or having the last word.
    In the interviews with the FBI, Cindy repeatedly would refuse to acknowledge the logical conclusion of any scenario.
    She would agree that all of the info that kc gave was lies, all of the stonewalling from kc was hindering the investigation, etc but Cindy always would snap back to nonsensical parting shots like “well, nobody knows what they would do in her shoes”. An Anthony simply cannot admit wrong. Period. They cannot accept defeat or even human frailties. George came close in his pity party essay, but even that soon evolved into , it’s all the media’s fault.

    One day, the only pure human being in that family, will teach them humility. For 2 yrs, it’s been all about kc, when the State of Fl is finally able to speak for Caylee, she will be heard and I hope she brings this evil empire to it’s knees.

  36. myers says:

    I am glad to give someone a giggle because when we all dig real deep inside and think about what that little girl must have gone through gives a cold chill I can’t stand. I keep trying to convince myself that maybe she was drugged and died peacefully in her sleep, but the other side of my brain tells me to be realistic. There was a reason for those three pieces of duct tape and in my gut they were used in the worst way. If a mother can take a bag containing her daughter and throw her in the woods invested with bugs, creatures, animals and who knows what else, then she can surely placed three pieces of duct tape and smother her and that is the realistic side of it for me. She is the one and only person who would do this to her daughter. We know there is no one else who did this, but lets just think about it. Why would another person take the time to place three pieces of duct tape on the childs mouth. If someone else did this to her child they would have more than likely just tossed her where ever and not spent a lick on time placing duct tape on her. She packed things in that bag that she and only she has access to, like the blanket. Cindy also needs to stop lying about the little shirt she was found in. She knows good and well that she was the one that washed that little shirt each time Caylee wore it. I think we would all agree that Casey never did laundry. No Zanny, so Cindy has to be lying again.

  37. Cindee Bronstad says:

    Hi Blink, a few weeks ago the SA office was ordered to turn over all the evidence to the defense. When will we see what they turned over and if so will we see our friend we have been waiting for Mr. Latent Print?

  38. chica says:

    ok here we go!!!

    Myers
    yeah a giggle is a must sometimes. I know how I feel when I get to thinking about caylee laying out there so close to her grandparents home with three pieces of duct taped to her mouth. the prosecution will present a good case! they are experienced and have done their homework. We should be thankful it’s baez defending casey. We all know he is inept. Not to worry his arrogance will be his ending way before the trial is even over. The jury will closely watch the prosecution and the defense at work and first inpressions are important. Mason and baez will turn the jurors off and think about this. Casey sitting there day after day watching a parade of her ex friends/boyfriends testify bad things about her! can she keep it together !! I dont think so I think she will blow it tooo with her faceial expressions. I cant wait to see cindy’s goose cooked by the prosecution. I go to bed each night thinking of little caylee and how she died! I love that little girl as does blink and many others!! we arent going away until THEY PUT HER AWAY FOR GOOD. (CASEY):)

  39. chica says:

    oh sorry blink im so mad I am stuttering again!!

  40. chelsea1515 says:

    So glad I found you guys again! What happened to the old thread? Like most of you, I am appalled by this case and want to see justice for Caylee. Looking back over old videos footage of the Anthony family, you can see a change in their dress, demeanour, voices (especially Cindy’s). The Anthony’s we will see at trial will be nothing like the real thing but I am still living in hopes that George will do the decent, right and only thing – tell the truth! He is the only one of that sickening family that I feel any sympathy/empathy with. Perhaps I’m wrong, he may be just as bad but watching him in Court it is obvious he is angry/sad/anxious/bereft. His must feel life isn’t worth living so PLEASE George do the honourable thing for Caylee’s sake

  41. Heidi says:

    Let’s not forget… Casey told JG about the molestation back when they were dating and not after Caylee went missing.

  42. cherylz says:

    Yep, IMO KC covered that precious babies mouth with 3 pieces of duct tape to try and silence her. She didn’t silence her forever, however. Caylee lives on in the hearts and souls of many. She along with her Momma doll will speak loudly at trial time…for all the world to hear. I too love that little girl that I never had the honor to meet…but, who has forever impacted my life. <3

  43. MJ says:

    Here’s a question for BLINK or any other smart blinkster.

    On the tape of the call, let’s say Baez says something that is worthy of being reported to the bar. Since nobody wants this trial to have more setbacks, can Judge Perry seal the contents of the tape until after the trial, at which time a complaint to the bar would be lodged?

    Judge Perry is duty bound to report any infraction violating the Rules of the FBA without exception.
    That would not be something made public however.
    B

  44. EliGrandma says:

    Personally, I kinda think Baez might be on that recorded conversation as “encouraging” Robin Lunceford to embellish or fabricate something, KWIM? Otherwise it makes no sense to want it sealed. We already know Maya Durkovec probably lied, even conspired, to get a deal so there’s nothing new this inmate could say that would have any effect on the trial. All MO but, me doth think Baez might be pooping his bloomers.

  45. MJ says:

    Thank you B

    Now Baez has filed a supplemental to his motion. I don’t have the link but the gist is, he needs time to check out possible new witnesses.
    It’s always something, always new blood for his suspect pool.
    TGIF, I’m ready for the weekend.

    http://blogs.orlandosentinel.com/entertainment_tv_tvblog/2010/07/casey-anthony-jose-baez-says-prison-inmate-supplied-more-potential-witnesses.html
    WFTV-Ch. 9 anchor Bob Opsahl explained why Baez wants the calls sealed — Baez’s motion today refers to one call. ”Baez claims the calls are privileged information because they are work product of the defense,” Opsahl said. “If the judge doesn’t go for that argument, Baez is also asking for time to investigate the inmate’s claims before the calls get released to the public.”

    The link and comment above is a whole new ballgame. Now, it’s calls, not just one. There’s something really fishy going on. Potential witnesses? Come on, why now, only after the call(s) were to go public????

  47. Calista says:

    Ok so my kids just walked by my computer and bust out laughing at that picture of Baez. Big ‘ol jumbo phone, big ‘ol jumbo HEAD!! Funny how the ego matches the head. I truly believe this will blow up in his face, chins, etc. Thank you for this terrific post.

    I read the posts on that article and a poster had a very good question…

    if the call(s)happened in may why does he need more time to investigate, he has already had 2 months?

    I have a question…when did the D.A. find out about the call(s)?

    maybe there is nothing worth a damn on the call and its just a big smoke and mirror act from baez to either keep kc in the media limelight or to try and fool the public into thinking he is a good lawyer (or comedian)…

  49. Nauseated says:

    “Baez claims the calls are privileged information because they are work product of the defense.”
    ~~~
    How can Baez claim the call (or calls) are work product if the calls were initiated by a prison inmate ? I’m thinking – if the inmate made first contact – wouldn’t Baez have said “Hold on – let me come to the prison and interview you. We don’t want this very valuable ‘bombshell tonight’information in the public record.” – or something along those lines ?
    Or did he just have a ginormous brain fart ?
  50. MJ says:
    Ugh, Baez and his “work product” ! Every time he wants to cripple some new stranger by trying to forge a miniscule connection to his murderous inmate client, he whines work product.
    Every time he attempts to hustle some wacky idea to defend his “girl” with he claims work product.
    Looks like it’s possible that he’s found a new use for it, desperately trying to cover his own rear end.
    He needs to scour the law books for a new term, he’s used this one to death and when he makes his lame motions he really should try to use his own words now and then instead of copying the prosecution’s. His glib attempt to be witty by repeating LDB’s argument that listening to the Jorden tape would be a 3rd degree felony, was more of his ignorance oozing to the surface.
    do I hear something…?…yes, I’m sure….circus music..yes, that’s it…and to think, this man teaches law students!
