Fugitive Cop Shooter David Durham’s House Located In NEW Kyron Horman Search Grid

Sauvie Island and Waldport, Oregon- A statewide manhunt is underway during the last week for a suspected shooter of a Lincoln City policeman.
Durham+dog+lincoln+city+police+shooting+suspect2

Officer Steve Dodds was alledgedly shot more than once at close range while the incident was recorded on his patrol car dash cam. Dodds is in critical but stable condition. Dodd’s stopped David Anthony Durham for speeding Sunday evening after he left a co-worker’s party without his date, but not without his dog, Huckleberry.

Huckleberry has been recovered by police with only a minor leg injury.

It is not known what prompted the attempt on Officer Dodd’s life, but according to Durham’s own family members, he has been suffering from delusions and instability following a shoulder injury he sustained in June, 2010, for which he was taking prescription painkillers.

Michael Durham, David’s older brother and a Wildlife Photographer, pleads for his younger brother to turn himself in peacefully:

“I wouldn’t say that was a catalyst for anything,” he said. “You know, my brother has been having some issues with a shoulder injury and he had been on pain medication for the past few months. And we noticed that his ability to perceive what was real and what was not real seemed to diminish.” “My sister, Laurie, my brother Willie, myself and my mother, we love David and we want him to peacefully turn himself into the police,” said Michael Durham. “They assured us that he won’t be harmed if he’s not armed and doesn’t act in a threatening manner.”

David Anthony Durham, a resident of Sauvie Island, for the past six years, was a Sauvie Island Volunteer Firefighter, and nominated himself for director in 2007. Six months ago he was removed from active duty for erratic behavior. Durham is also reported to be an avid landscaper and outdoorsman.

Durham’s home on Sauvie Island, is directly adjacent to a highly publicized sighting from a tipster in the Kyron Horman disappearance investigation named “Chas” who claimed to have seen a woman with long red hair the morning of his disappearance at approximately 9:15AM on his way to work, in a white truck.

KyronKiaraLarry

Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office has cordoned off Durham’s Sauvie Island home and access is blocked by a MCSO patrol car.

There has been a 25 person SWAT team stationed at the base of the street since Monday, as well as a second team at a vacation home in Waldport.

A co-worker of Durham’s at Willamette Blueprint & Printing described her friend as a happy go lucky guy with no emotional problems and has worked there for at least 5 years.

However, Durham failed to show up for work on Friday, indicating perhaps he had concerns prior to the Sunday shooting. In a financial document obtained exclusively by blinkoncrime.com, In September 2005 David Durham claimed he left Willamette to become a full-time college student and that he was receiving unemployment compensation directly to his Portland Teachers Credit Union Account, while seeking financial aid.

It also showed that Mr. Durham was a previous resident on Sauvie Island at another address 2.5 miles South, and directly adjacent to Logie Rd across the channel. New Intelligence Leads To New Search Efforts Today Specifics have not been released, but new intelligence, the first in 9 months, is responsible for today’s new search efforts.

Today, Newly-tasked search teams are concentrated on NW Skyline Rd, south of Rocky Point.

Desiree Young, Kyron’s Mother:

“I have been waiting for this search to happen for some time now,” said Desiree Young, Kyron’s biological mother. “The Kyron Horman Task Force has shared the intelligence information with me, but unfortunately I can’t share that information with the media. I’m excited that today’s search will hopefully bring some closure to this case.”

I searched for the raw video of the presser. It was from the Noon Presser on June 7, 2010. Unfortunately the raw video Q & A seems to be gone. You can Goggle (“kyron” “gates” “medical condition” june”) and the various board discussions will show up in cache form. In doing that, from those who took notes, when Gates was asked if Kyron had any medical conditions, this was his answer: “not able to talk about that”

That quote from Gates was from several discussions I found, and all who listened to that presser found it really, really odd. If anyone can find the raw video of that presser that includes the entire Q&A, that’d be great!

I listened to another presser and found this comment from Gates interesting as well (it was from one of the ones on the 7th also) , a reporter asks Gates about Kyron’s personality, Gate’s answer was, he was “energetic”, “fun-loving”, “well-liked” and “a very social kid”. Just thought I’d throw that out there, since it totally does not agree with what some others have said about him being shy, etc. Dang, why is everything in this case so contradictory?

It would be interesting to see her cell phone records. I don’t know if I have it right, but did she leave the school and go right down to the Freddy stores? I think she did. Probably to get meds for Kiara (not RX, maybe Tylenol, as I wrote earlier). I can’t imagine ANY Freddy being out of Children’s Tylenol, but then she went to the second store; who knows why….
So maybe after that, she got a phone call from somebody who said “We got him”, and that they took Kyron and she totally panicked. And maybe that’s why she immediately called DDS and immediately zoomed over the hill (Skyline) and down to Sauvie Island, maybe looking for DAD or his brother the photographer, who might have been involved. Couldn’t find them or was sent on a search for DAD somewhere, and she and DD drove all over looking for (a white pickup)??
And then I read that she went to the gym. Why on earth would she go to the gym after desperately zooming around Sauvie and other places in the area, unless somebody at the gym was some sort of contact, or knew something.
Nothing makes any sense and this is all “what-ifs”, but I remember seeing the news with KH and TMH going to the gym the same night Kyron was missing and thought that was REALLY odd. Why would two totally desperate parents go to the GYM, for crying out loud, when their helpless little boy was missing? Just doesn’t make any sense.
All speculation, but mostly LE needs to double check all of those school employees and all of the neighbors and their backgrounds. I think TMH was just really stupid, thinking of herself only (and hubby without a clue)and really got herself into a big mess. Whatever happened, she is primarily responsible because Kyron had only her to depend on for almost everything while he was in that house up on Skyline.

I think Grandma Carol and Grandpa Moulton went to the sex clubs with their daughter Terri. Sex clubs aren’t just for young people, all ages go. They probably got Terri started in the lifestyle. They are harboring her now, I don’t see them encouraging her to tell what she knows? Different lifestyle these people.

    >>At least one witness told police he or she saw a second adult waiting in Terri’s truck while she was with Kyron at his school science fair the morning of June 4.

According to Multnomah County Chief Deputy District Attorney Rod Underhill, a witness or witnesses gave police information about “a person or persons” at Skyline School, Fred Meyer department stores in the towns Beaverton, Ore., and Hillsboro, Ore., as well as on various area roads. Adds Underhill: “We’re looking for additional witnesses.” <<

Coyotes, bears (brown or black – one recently captured near a school SW of Portland), bobcats. Lots of wild animals in Forest Park. I think they make their way along the Coast Mountains and up along Skyline Ridge. Lots of new home construction in the area sends the coyotes down to the more populated areas looking for pets left out at night, etc. Grim. Worse still and even more dangerous are the two-legged wild animals who grow illegal crops and greedily protect them in the vilest way possible. Maybe TMH tried to double-cross someone.
A few years ago authorities found a man and his daughter living in a makeshift shelter deep in Forest Park. They had been there for years and he was schooling her, and nobody had any idea that they were there.
But there are lots of hikers who wander in and out of the area.
…and of course, the blackberries are everywhere, can cover up almost everything. I believe TMH wrote someplace that she had finally cleaned out the blackberries on their property. Don’t know what that was all about.
Let’s just hope little Kyron is somewhere so someone can get him back to his mommy.

    @SouthernMom-
To answer your question, IMO there could be hundreds of dead bodies in the Pacific Northwest that have not and will not ever be found. The woods are so dense, so many fallen trees, undergrowth, blackberries… veritable needle in a huge haystack. IDK if there are bobcats around Forest Park anymore, but I’ve seen coyotes and foxes around there.

  12. erose says:

Spending some time in Sept/Oct posts looking for post for SMom and found these gems from New@5 aka Lea Connor that I thought deserved a re-read )hope no one minds):

Here’s my 30-second take on this case:

7-year-old boy who is an amateur herpetologist (student of reptiles and amphibians) disappears on June 4. The child is Kyron Horman, who was only discovered missing after he failed to return home on the school bus.

We later learn that Kyron’s backpack and coat were at the school all day long, yet the only person to notice he was gone was his desk mate Tanner Pumala. The teacher’s defense is that the child’s stepmother (Terri Horman) said the child had a doctor’s appointment.

The parents proceed immediately to the school to look for Kyron. After determining he is not there, the school calls law enforcement (LE).

LE focuses immediately on mom, as she was the last person to see Kyron. Or so we’re told. Tanner Pumala and his grandmother — Terri Horman’s neighbor — take to the airwaves claiming the FBI is telling them not to talk to anyone about the fact that Tanner saw Kyron at school after Terri had left the building. Tanner reported that Kyron was going to see “the cool electric one,” which may have been a reference to a project at the science fair.

Initial searches focus on the area around the school, a houseboat belonging to Tanner Pumala’s father, and the Holmes/Villarreal residence that is on the same street as the Horman residence. Nobody finds any sign of Kyron.

Nine days after Kyron disappeared, Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office and several other agencies descend on Sauvie Island using helicopters equipped with special FLIR thermal imaging cameras. Divers are in the shallow waters around the island, assisting in the search for a large container, possibly a suitcase or duffel bag.

Rumors abound that Terri Horman’s cell phone pings led searchers to the island.(NOTE: It is my understanding that the search was based on the river’s current and projected date upon which a body would reach Sauvie Island from Vancouver. This information has since been posted elsewhere.)

As the investigation continues, the public questions whether a sex offender might have slipped into the school and taken Kyron. Perhaps by coincidence, Kyron’s brother James was supposedly headed out on a Boy Scout camping trip over the weekend that Kyron went missing. We later learn that James arrived at the Horman residence after Kyron’s disappearance, and that he was there the weekend of the supposed camping trip.

We learn that that Boy Scouts USA is sitting on files containing the names of more than 1,000 pedophiles who were allowed to work in Scouting from 1965 to 1985. MCSO could easily get these names by issuing an investigative subpoena. To date, there has been no word that any such subpoena has ever been issued.

We learn that one of the most prolific, predatory pedophiles in Oregon history was allowed to work with boys through Boy Scouts from the 1980s to 1994. We learn that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (AKA “The Mormons) knew that Timur Van Dykes (AKA Timur Dykes) had molested children yet allowed him to continue working with boys. How did the Boy Scouts and Mormon Church know that Timur Dykes had a problem? He admitted it.

Worse, the only thing that brought Timur Dykes’ scouting career to an end was when he was pulled over by LE while on a scouting trip. LE discovered he was a registered sex offender and arrested him on the spot.

We learn that Timur Dykes was a herpetologist who lured young boys like Kyron with his collection of pets.

At the time of Kyron’s disappearance, Timur Dykes was homeless but using a relative’s address in Lake Oswego, then later still homeless but using an address in Portland.

Timur Dykes has never been named as suspect in the Kyron Horman disappearance. The relevance of his case is that there are more than 1,000 other pedophiles who worked in Boy Scouts whose names have never been made public. Could one of pedophiles listed in the Boy Scout “perv files” have been involved in Kyron’s disappearance? We may never know, unless MCSO and the DA obtain a subpoena for that information.

    Part II:

Kyron’s parents and their respective spouses (the step parents) appear at the June 11, 2010, press conference.

Kyron’s mother Desiree Young is clearly despondent and sobbing. Her husband Tony Young appears more reserved but appears to be taking note of those around him.

Kyron’s father Kaine Horman looks like he’s doing a slow burn. Kaine’s wife Terri Horman’s facial expressions throughout the press conference get panned as either someone trying to appear sad, or a childish expression of remorse.

Over the next three weeks, we learn that the Horman family is hella weird. They’ve all been divorced and remarried, and appear to continue to socialize with each other, perhaps for the sake of the kids. Desiree objects to reports that Terri raised Kyron and knew him since he was a newborn, yet we later learn that she and Kaine got together when Kaine was still married to Desiree.

Kaine has a brother Kristian Horman is convicted sex offender. He was convicted of third-degree child molestation in April 2010, but his sentencing occurred on June 16, 2010, right in the middle of the Kyron Horman investigation.

When asked whether Kristian Horman had anything to do with Kyron’s disappearance, investigators working on the Kyron Horman case say that they are looking at all possibilities. The media reports that it was not clear whether Kristian was in Portland the day Kyron went missing. However, the Washington State court docket makes clear that June 16 was a pre-arranged date for sentencing.

Court record revealed that Kristian Horman claimed he was molested by his grandfather, and that he was compelled by that memory when he molested his victim.

Kaine Horman gives an interview to Willamette Week in which it is clear there is a lot of tension around the Horman household. Terri apparently wasn’t cooperating with LE, and she would not voluntarily turn over her laptop for inspection. Terri reportedly appeared for three polygraphs, including one test that never happened because Terri walked out.

Kaine learns from LE that Terri allegedly tried to get a landscaper she hired off of Craigslist (Rudy Sanchez) to kill him. Kaine moves out and takes baby Kiara with him. Terri calls 911 to complain about custodial interference.

Later that night, the landscaper shows up as part of an undercover sting to get Terri to pay up for the murder for hire. Terri balks and calls 911. Nobody is arrested.

We later learn that Terri allegedly called LE on May 9 after the landscaper threatened her in her driveway. Terri was supposedly holding baby Kiara at the time.

Kaine files for divorce, and gets a restraining order claiming he has reason to believe Terri was involved in Kyron’s disappearance. Kaine also claims that LE informed him that Terri was trying to hire someone to kill him.

Terri retains attorney Stephen Houze to represent her. Kaine later claims in a contempt motion that Terri paid $350,000 to retain Houze, and offers a heavily redacted exhibit of alleged text messages as proof of this. IMHO, the redactions are such that it is impossible to tell to what the $335,000 refers.

Two months later, Kaine drops the contempt but doesn’t given any reason for doing so. Is he broke? Is Terri suddenly cooperating? Or was the whole text message issue a setup? No word on any of it.

We learn that Kaine’s high school classmate Michael Cook — who claims to be a close friend of the family — allegedly exchanged text messages of a sexual nature with Terri. The so-called “sexting” allegedly started the night Kaine served Terri with divorce papers.

Michael Cook also apparently claims Terri showed him the sealed restraining order that included Kaine’s confidential address. MC shares this information with Kaine and his lawyer, yet he reportedly is never called before the grand jury.

Despite the abundance of cooperation he received from MC in building his case for custody, Kaine Horman denies having seen MC except for a couple of times since high school. One of those times was when MC hosted the vigil for Kyron.

A review of the video of the vigil shows a smirking MC walking in the front of the church, as others in attendance sob in concern for Kyron. Nobody at the vigil seems to notice MC’s odd behavior.

We learn that Terri’s best friend DeDe Spicher has a creepy ex-boyfriend named Jason Wishert, whose real name is Jason Wishart. Jason’s dad is a convicted sex offender.

Rumors abound as to whether Terri and Kaine are swingers, whether Terri and DeDe are gay, whether Kaine is gay, and whether Kaine has a pregnant girlfriend.

More than one online blog has referenced the infamous Balloon Boy hoax. Unlike the Balloon Boy incident, Kyron remains missing more than three months after he disappeared.

You almost need a Soap Opera Digest to track the current and former spouses, friends, and miscreants in these peoples lives.

Despite all the rumors and innuendo, everyone seems to agree that Kyron is a very sweet and gentle child. IMHO, it would be impossible to produce a kid like that out of nowhere. The circumstances here may be unusual, but the product of their efforts — one great kid, if not more — speaks to their parenting. (James reportedly is doing well in school in Roseburg. No word on Kaine and Terri’s daughter Kiara, nor Desiree’s son from a prior marriage.)

    (third post)

“You got that right. God Bless this child, and the others. Anyone else thinking about paying closer attention to what goes on in their hood, or with their kids, that would be swell.”

Evie: I think you summarized the press conference quite succinctly.

I had been thinking Sheriff Staton was a little bit “not ready for prime time” based on his early performance in this case (i.e. referring to Kyron Horman as “Kyron Holmes”), but he redeemed himself today, at least in my eyes.

Not that feelings matter, but my sense of Staton is that he gets it. I mean he really, truly, deep down inside gets this case. There’s some kind of undercurrent that is just so evil that it threw law enforcement off its normal unflappable demeanor. Even the FBI agent’s first appearance was a bit off.

I mistook the weirdness by what should have been competent professionals for the “amateur hour,” when really, this case seems to be people staring down absolute evil.

To me, Staton seemed so young looking, and perhaps I mistook that in part for naivete. In reality, he’s not young, but he does have a “Gerber baby”-type face.

IMHO, LE got some kind of signal very early on as to exactly what they were dealing with here. There must be a reason they said “sexually motivated crime.”

I am so terribly sad for Kyron and his family. Please, G-d, let this little boy come home tonight.

I live in Gresham, which is closely tied with the Troutdale/Fairview area (in fact, in reality, you can’t tell the difference driving in them, in more fact, add Wood Village to the area as well). The thing about this area, besides the high (er) crime rate, hispanic population and meth problem, is that the area is easily accessible by plane, boat and an interstate freeway. If you wanted to “disappear” a tree frog expert, you’d have more options from this area than the Skyline area. It’s also in close proxomity to the Mt. Hood National Forest. A densely forested area with not a lot of people. It’s also, via back roads, about 17-20 miles from the southern areas of Canby, Oregon City and the like. It’s across the river from the Skyline area, but at that time of the morning, the traffic headed to this side of the river would be as minimal as it’s going to get. You could reasonably make the drive out here from Skyline in about 30-35 minutes if you had a route in mind. From here? Who knows.
The Troutdale airport is small, it’s a fairly tight knit community of people. But keep in mind that in June they were finishing the build on the new Fed Ex plant right down the street. There were lots and lots of trucks going in and out of the area on a daily basis, so something out of the norm in that area may not have been as noticable.

Hmm. Perhaps an interesting coincidence. Multnomah County Commissioner Diane McKeel (District 4, serving Gresham, Troutdale/Fairview) is at the forefront of human trafficking issues. I wonder if there’s a reason Staton mentioned that area. Could she be lending more of her resources to the investigation due to that angle? Completely and totally MOO. Just thought it was an interesting angle. As soon as Staton mentioned that area, my thought went to her and her work.

Sorry for posting some old stuff, but felt it may be worth going over again. I re-watched the August 11 2010 Oregonian press release with Captain Gates, Rod Underhill and Detective Bob O’Donnell. This was the release with the photos of the truck at Skyline and Fred Meyers that was attempting to get people to remember back to what they saw that might be important-two months later.

The quote below caught my attention, because it was focused on an approximately 15 minute time period. From 10:15 to 10:30 am. That’s a pretty narrow time frame, and from what I remember, Terri would have been done with the Fred Meyer visits and about to do her driving around to supposedly calm Kiara down. She should not have been far from the 2nd Fred Meyers at that point, so what happened in that 15 minutes that the DA, Rod Underhill, wanted to know about?

Between the hours of 10:15 and 10:30 am(approximately) on June 4th, LE wants additional witnesses who may have seen the Ford F250 on these roads: Springville, Skyline, Germantown, Old Germantown and Newberry.

UNLESS Sassi’s confidential “therapist-informant” is somehow the one who let the vampire in–which I personally doubt–then we’ve got no clue to SZ’s identity from that info. It simply corroborates the fact that there had been, for some time (not just during the Kitty earache/teething period), concern at school about certain aspects of Ky’s behavior.

I still think it was Ky’s strengths, not his difficulties, that were his undoing. His strengths being his intelligence, his abilities in math/science, and his curiosity about those areas. All excited about going to see “the electric one”.

Either someone knew enough about Ky to know to distract/invite him with that, or he was gonna be grabbed somewhere in the school without that specific invitation. Lots of people could’ve known that much about Ky. So, it’s not narrowing anything down.

I’ve missed the importance of DOG’s comment about being a former principal. Was he serious? Was he a client of, or otherwise associated with RS Landscape Maintenance? I’m a bit unsettled by the fact that his wife works with medical records, from home, and their daughter was busy getting arrested the morning of June 4, apparently for falsifying prescriptions to purchase drugs.

I’m clueless about the Gills’ tie-in to Ky.

  17. beejay says:

Whatever will it take? Kaine’s appearance recently at Wood Village looks good geographically in terms of crime stats. That area, in the east, towards the airport, is getting hard hit.

If I were suggesting a route to him, next I’d take my booth on down 205 and I-5. I’d go to Happy Valley, Milwaukie, Clackamas, West Linn, Oregon City, Canby, Wilsonville. On down at least to Woodburn, and then east out to Molalla.

I’d use my foundation money, as it was intended, to help other families with missing children. I’d have other photos with me. Ya’ll can guess whose. But, then, that’s just me. Whatever it takes.

  18. cbickel says:

Just a reminder that there was a huge recall of tylenol products during that time frame…that’s why it’s believable to me that she went to a different FM looking for meds.

I remember this because I was looking for tylenol for my then almost 2 yr old grandaughter and the tylenol was off the shelf. Nothing there about a recall at all, just gone. My sister, who worked at the store I was at, told me about the recall.

Thoughts and prayers are with Kyron, his brothers, sister, friends and classmates.

  19. beejay says:

@zeus: Why 10:15 to 10:30 at those locations?

IMO, Ky was disappeared around 9:45, shortly before the student touring groups at the Sci Fair were ending. He went out the back door, into a white Ford truck (not Terri’s). Then was transported, and witnesses saw the vehicle (but not Ky) in those locations.

@erose: Yes about McKeel. But also, Wood Village would be a natural for Kaine, since it receives patrol svcs under contract with MCSO.

Some of the participating LE agencies might coincidentally have had the staff to chip in; some had members on that High Crime task force already in existence. And, then too, maybe there were tips/leads coming out of their jurisdictions. Whatever combination of reasons, I hope the family will get their minds and efforts out of Roseburg and into some new faces in some new places. Esp. out east, and south (I have a post in moderation with my favorite vacation sites!!)

Cindy Anthony lied under oath to protect and try to save her daughter.
Terry knows Kiara is safe and loved by Kaine. Maybe she wants to protect James as he was the one that (not meaning to) let the vampire in. If anyone would know their way around that school and wanted to sneak a little kid out, it just may be an older kid. AMO thoughts (other than what I confiscated from others.)
…disclaimer…not necessarily what I believe as I change thoughts daily. Kind of makes sense though.

Good points. As seems to be more common online, the ideas about this case are opening up to include any and all possible links to persons other than just TH. People took sides very quickly in this case, and sometimes that’s accurate and sometimes it’s way off.

As far as TH protecting someone, that is possible — including protecting herself from some form of retaliation. Who knows? It is also possible she has nothing more to offer the case and was never the fountain of information that some perceived her to be.

What I am snooping into now, most of the time, are any international links that the family had. That’s one way to meet a vampire.

In my trips to W. Germany and then to a unified Germany to stay with in-laws there, I was aware, from 1982 on, that there is a big problem with child pornography in Europe and it’s gruesome now more than ever. I have an academic friend who teaches college in Istanbul, and he can rattle off a list of problems with LE there concerning sex trafficking in and out of the country. Israel itself, to many people’s surprise, has a human trafficking problem. Nearly all countries do now.

I consider lately this case could be an issue of someone knowing the family well — not just TH, and not necessarily a friend — who has pulled a major stunt here. I have entertained the idea of some whacked out type to thought to “save” Kryon and get him out of a messed up home life. I have thought about a custody situation face to this. I have thought that TH was dumb concerning her choice of social friends and sloppy about her social choices. I have considered that KH has some enemies at Intel. Or, that someone associated with the family, sympathizing with KH, acted alone to prevent DY from getting custody again. With child custody situations, some people can simply go insane. I suspect less that the parents have actually done anything wrong, but more that both TH and KH were not too bright concerning their chosen associations with people, or, worse, just never bothered to know people all that well.

ANYTHING. I will consider ANYTHING, if it is the most ridiculous story ever revealed, if it finds Kyron.

A point about finding him — I think he is still alive. The “bring Kyron home” phrase just seems to irritate me into thinking that this case is all about some form of pure evil, either caused by a person who saw him/herself as some sort of savior, to a person who took advantage of a bad marriage between TH and KH and acted on opportunity, to ANY theory at all.

Somehow I also sense that both TH and KH are quite embarrassed about who they chose to associate with. Often in child crimes, the public finds out about the unsavories with the parents. In this case, only one parent was raked over the coals, when both parents in the Horman home clearly have their “issues.”

Sexually motivated crime? I don’t recall LE ever saying this. Do we have a link somewhere as to who said it? I’ve always been under the impression that LE has been treating this mostly as a custody issue. (For example, pictures of all three parents, Terri, Kaine & Desiree are on Kyron’s Charley Project page. Highly unusual to have pictures of the parents there, unless they are suspected as possible parental abductors.) Anyway, I maybe just missed this somewhere?

I would appreciate a link to my quote, and the entire exchange in context please.

    Hi,
Just to add on here about the Meds for kitty on June 4th! I read awhile back that around that time there was a recall for children’s pain reliever meds( can’t remember which brand tho)! So if Terri really needed the meds for Kiara then she would have trouble finding the meds if they were recalled! Or if she did have part in Ky’s abduction, then she could have used the searching for meds as part of a alibi builder or an excuse!

I am good friends with the missing boy Kyron and I need to fill in some blanks for your posters. Kyron lives in a marvelous home and is taken care of by two wonderful parents. He has a baby sister and an older brother and loves his stepmom dearly. There is nothing but support for him at home and this is a terrible shock that has happened. Stop turning everything into a CSI story line. What they didn’t say is that Kyron’s backpack and jacket were found in his classroom, so the something fishy is coming form the school who never reported him missing. The children pointed out to the teacher that Kyron was missing and she never called his parents. I am worried sick and the last thing anyone needs to do is point at the parents … this time, the school dropped the ball and a child is out in the darkness possibly alone or possibly abducted. Keep your facts straight before you start the witch hunt. Kyron’s Portland Aunt

If Tylenol was recalled (I believe it is possible, I had trouble finding it at different times myself)then it would not be available at either FM. So, I wonder what her receipts showed. Was it Tylenol she was looking for? Or a prescription? Did she buy a different OTC medication? We won’t ever know.

  32. RedRose says:

I’d been kind of wondering about that myself, TH protecting her son. Remember, Kaine wanted him/James out of the house. He could have been upset enough to decide that Kyron, then, shouldn’t be in the house either.
Also wondering a lot about MC, have since I first saw him on the news. Don’t pervs or perps usually hang out at “the scene” – or is that just a TV thing?

    @ICare
If Terry did not do this, who would she protect? . . . .Maybe she wants to protect James as he was the one that (not meaning to) let the vampire in.

This is just my own curiosity but where did the fact that Terri watched and was an avid fan of CSI come from? I have read it numerous times in blogs but I have never heard a statement from Kaine or anyone that knew TH say that she watched CSI on television.

Sorry Blink, it’s in #9 above, reposted and linked by erose. Just trying not to be too repetitious here. Here it is again:

    @Blink wrote:

    Questions for everyone -

Do you think LE has found more evidence and information that would clear TH than would implicate her?

I ask this because if all they have on her are these things listed below:

    1. Failed poly on lifestyle questions (not admissable)
    2. Accusation by RS of MFH (guessing this isn’t admissable with NO hard proof ~ hearsay only & failed sting going down as though she was being set up with TH reacting more like an innocent victim than guilty party ~ according to reports we’ve heard.)
    3. Sexting MC (MC on phone owned by KH ??? ~ so most likely not admissable or even applicable).
    4. Confusion on Dr’s appt.
    5. Timeline — Surely they’ve had time to figure out her exact whereabouts during the “driving to soothe Kiara” time…and I feel they would have asked more from the public (i.e. witnesses) for any seriously suspect locations if there was need??? I know they did at one point…but what came of that?

I’m beginning to think the most they have on TH is her refusal to talk (after initially cooperating) once she figured out they were focusing on her and being advised by DS & completely lawyering up…(so LE’s assumption is she is hiding something rather than protecting her rights).

Kaine’s comment in that special done in late May for the anniversary regarding them not being certain of her involvement leads me to believe they truly aren’t sure TH is guilty of anything.

We all know they’ve exhausted many man hours trying prove it was TH…I sincerely hope and pray they are seeking other possibilities as well.

Question: Does anyone have any information from the Grand Jury…Has any member of that jury spoken or has information been leaked on what went down?

Prayers for Kyron & his family.

Blink, heck, now that I re-read it, I can’t tell who’s being quoted. I don’t recall anyone other than Blink using the phrase “sexually motivated” to describe this crime. I don’t recall law enforcement ever saying that.

Police seize over a kilo of cocaine [PHOTOS @ Link]
    http://southeastportland.katu.com/news/crime/police-seize-over-kilo-cocaine/441982

Here is an account from the sheriff’s office of how they tracked down the large amount of cocaine:

The Special Investigations Unit (SIU) of the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office arrested two suspects after the discovery of more than a kilo (2.2 lbs) of cocaine. Acting on a tip, investigators from SIU conducted a traffic stop in Northeast Portland on a vehicle occupied by two Hispanic males suspected of dealing cocaine. The narcotics K-9 (Ellie) from SIU discovered small amounts of cocaine hidden under the passenger seat of the vehicle.

SIU investigators followed up the investigation by going to the suspect’s Southeast Portland residence. At the residence approximately one kilo of cocaine and two handguns were discovered. One of the handguns was found to be stolen out of Portland. In addition, several fake and forged identification documents were confiscated. The kilo of cocaine was unique in that it was stamped with a logo similar to a brand name. The cocaine has a street level value in excess of $100,000. That kilo represents as many as 4,000 street level deals.

Jorge Antonio Vela (DOB 07/15/82) was arrested and charged with Possession, Distribution and Manufacture of Cocaine as well as Theft of a Weapon. In addition Jorge Vela had two outstanding warrants for DUII from Multnomah County.

Jose Efrain Bautistacetina (DOB 06/05/73) was arrested and charged with Possession, Distribution and Manufacture of Cocaine.

I guess I should elaborate on the gossip. The supposed source is a teacher at Skyline, and again I heard it through a third person. I read the forum daily and noticed the conversation had gone back to the school’s response. I believe the school called, but was not sure what the next steps should be when TMH didn’t answer, assuming Ky had a Dr. appt that morning.

I gotta wonder who exactly was the person of interest they were investigating when they realized that the records from the school were missing? And since they were looking to these records for something, and they were gone, where did they go from there? Or are these part of the million bits of data, or whatever they call it they still have to find out in cyber space somewhere?
