Casey Anthony Trial: Roy Kronk Smacks Back Releasing Statement Through Attorney

Orlando, FL-  Unedited Statement On behalf of Roy Kronk, sent to www.blinkoncrime.com for Immediate Release.

STATEMENT ON BEHALF OF ROY KRONK
Yesterday the Casey Anthony defense team, in its opening statement, suggested that Roy Kronk was somehow involved in the placement and disposition of the remains of Caylee Anthony.   This defense theory regarding Mr. Kronk is completely false.  The suggestion that Mr. Kronk took possession of Caylee’s remains is totally lacking in logic or explanation.  It did not happen.

Roy Kronk is and remains a private citizen whose sole connection to the Anthony case is that he, among all those searching, located the remains of Caylee Anthony and immediately, and repeatedly, reported his find to local law enforcement.  He has provided sworn statements to law enforcement, a sworn deposition to the defense, and will provide sworn testimony at trial.  He has been truthful throughout.

In their unrelenting search to conjure up villains to deflect attention from Casey Anthony, the defense team has tried repeatedly to cast Roy Kronk in the role of bad guy, even to the extent of making statements about him on national television that they knew to be false.

As he has done from the outset, Mr. Kronk will hold his head high and continue to speak the truth about what he found and will trust in the judicial system to reach a just result in this case.

David L. Evans
Attorney for Roy Kronk

    Preach!

Roy Kronk has been one of Caylee’s heroes in this case, working against the malicious Anthony-family tide. It’s sickening that the Anthony defense team (and members of the Anthony family) have tried to make him out to be their scapegoat. When Casey’s judgment has been rendered by the jury sitting today, I hope Mr. Evans will be whalloping Cindy Anthony and Jose Ba!ez with the civil cases they so richly deserve!

  2. Kleat says:

Thanks Blink team, you are fast! I suppose the dt’s theory is that Kronk was having an affair with Casey and had a key to the house– you know, the old milkman story. And of course, he would have access to the Anthony stash of garbage bags in the garage.

Casey seems to be feeding her lawyers this crap, and they will just say she went over the top, as George said, piles more and more on to her stories. The only thing the defense really needs out of any of this, is setting in the jury’s mind, the proof that Caylee was known to have died by accident explained by pool drowning.

A ‘fact’ they have entered at least two times this morning as a fact in evidence, from the Baez’s opening statement– according to our attorney reader friend, this is an ERROR.

Baez is sneaky in his question formation, lets the witness formulate the answer in their head, then as they answer, he adds a twist to change the context of the answer.

  3. Mom3.0 says:

    thanks for posting this Blink-

Everyone is the villian in this lie except for Casey-

I am glad that he and his lawyer made this statement.
I swear Casey Anthony and her team have done everything in their power to deflect ANY responsibility and blame from Casey-

They will stop at nothing- Im surprised that The defense stopped short of calling little Caylee the bad guy…

Like Casey said in that interview -I will take it has far as I have to to prove I am Innocent-

Lie and blame even “a tragic accident” on everyone but herself-

Taking no blame in this “accident” at all-

Cindy put up the ladder George found Caylee and didnt resuscitate
    George disposed of Caylee
George molested Casey, Lee too and
all of them taught Casey to lie and she only pretended to be happy and carefree after her daughter died “in a tragic accident”

Then she lied to LE she lied to her family to her friends except that she did tell Tony something about Lee and George so that wasnt such a dark secret.
and Casey lied to the searchers and the public
and she blamed so many people Zanny and JG and RM and AH and Roy Kronk -

This woman has no scruples and if I ever doubted that she killed Caylee coldheartedly I do not know-

So congrats Defense IMO you failed.

What a way for Cheney Mason to end his career.

Defending a lying murderer with more blatant hurtful accusatory lies.
He should be ashamed of himself.

Bravo to David L. Evans (Attorney for Roy Kronk)
I’m very glad that Mr Kronk has jumped on this immediately.
Another innocent person that’s been drug into KC’s poisonous web.

Epic fail for the defense team – the jury will see thru all the mish-mash of BS that Baez + Mason are dishing out.
It’s always everyone’s fault except for Casey. Shameful.
Agree with you Mom 3.0 – there is no one that the defense will not attempt to place the blame on.
The blame rests squarely on their dirtbag client who from birth has seemed to be able to grasp the concept of accepting personal responsibility of her actions.

  7. USTWIN57 says:

    Roy Kronk
Thank you for coming forward. Remember this song……
“This Little Light of Mine; We’re Gonna Let It Shine, Let It Shine, Let It Shine……You will forever be Little Caylee’s Shining Star.
Bless you, Friend for finding her remains. Peace to you.

  8. Jane says:

I find it truly revolting that this defense team would pull such a stunt. There certainly seems to be no boundaries in this case. All I want to see is justice for Caylee. Thank you, Mr. Kronk.

  9. mosaic says:

I always wondered how a defense attorney could live with himself defending a person accused of murder. But this brings it to a whole new level. To publicly smear everyone within radius of your client is deplorable.

  10. Bonnie Louise says:

Jose Baez has no Conscience. How dare he try to ruin the reputation of Roy Kronk !

  11. justice23 says:

This is classic …. I think Jose is losing his cool and knows he is going to lose. Now reporters are getting pushed and shoved around, sheesh. Does this guy have no class whatsoever??

  12. Minnie Penney says:

The CNN talking heads think Baez scored big points on Casey’s “sexual abuse” by daddy and I guess her brother, also. They think some jurors will feel sorry for Casey….I sure hope not.

  13. Midwest Mom says:

I thought that Kronks son stated that Kronk said a month prior to finding Caylee that he was going to find her. And wasnt a picture of det Allen shown in front of the site where caylee was found?

    ?
    And?

  14. Gypsy DD says:

The defense team will stop at nothing and destroy lives in the over zealous bunggled defense of the lair and murderess Casey Marie Anthony.

They are despicable. Frankly I would not be surprised if Mr Krunk’s attorney does not sue them for defamation of character, etc. Afterall this trial is televised on national TV.

I would get in line to get dibbs on any money that Baez and Mason maybe collecting in the future for movies, books, and whatever they are able to manage to make from lawyering. I think Baez lawyering days are short..but I would not be surprised to see him as a talking head. Therefore I would want to garner his pay from today until the day he had no more income.

  15. lizzy says:

Could Mr. Kronk file a slander charge for this? Or does the context within a court setting provide protection?

I had a conversation about possible legal remedies with Mr. Evans this afternoon, I would say that until the trial is over, he cannot, but after that…

  16. justice23 says:

I am worried about something George said yesterday when he denied Baez’s molestation allegations in regard to Jeff Ashton’s initial questioning.

George was specifically asked, “Were you present in your home when Caylee Anthony died?” and George’s response was that he wasn’t. But in his original statements to LE about the last day he saw Caylee (June 16th 2008, the day Baez is saying Caylee allegedly died in the pool), George specifically described seeing Casey and Caylee leave for the day and described what both Casey and Caylee were wearing.

In Baez’s opening statements he makes it sound as if Caylee drowned in the pool during the time that only George and Casey were home that day (Cindy was at work and Caylee/Casey were getting ready to leave the house). But George responds to Ashton that he was not home on June 16th when Caylee allegedly died “in the pool”. In order for Jose’s drowning and George coverup theory to actually work, it would’ve had to have happened when Cindy was at work based on the statements he made and when George was still home with Casey/Caylee which would’ve been before 2:30 or there about based on his starting time for work. George said he was home watching one his shows and talked to Casey before she left to “go to work” when he was first interviewed by OCSO.

So doesn’t this contradict what he initially told them in his interviews/depositions? Did George purjure himself and won’t Jose bring this up in court and make him look like a liar to the jury?

  17. dee says:

why didnt the state ask Tony about Casey sweating at night and crying, talk about the statement about not wanting any daughters?

  18. dee says:

is Roy Kronk on the witness list? sorry I never read the states list…my bad

  19. Classygal says:

So……… the bottom line is……… she lies so much- how could you really think she was telling the truth now? That is what would stick in my head as I heard the prosecutions case and then the defense remarks. Once a liar- always a liar!!

  20. chelsea says:

Czan Mr George call Lazarro back? Maybe he will ask about the night sweats/crying and the statement about not wanting daughters last thing so that it will remain fresh in the minds of the Jury. Baez is like a grasshopper, leaping from one thing to another, never finishing anything. He is enough to confuse Confuscius with his questioning; he talks in riddles.

  21. lower case susan says:

Quick, somebody trademark “Kronked”. Wasn’t it here on this site that someone started saying that term?

It was me in an interview, so I guess technically the verb is copyrighted, lol.

  22. Ragdoll says:

How sad for the people who are brought down because of Casey Anthony et al.

Jose and co. will harbour many regrets for their choices for many, many years. Mark my words.

May I also add…it’s this very thing that prevents people from coming forward and providing info. to law enforcement. It’s scary to to think that getting involved can also be interpreted as questionable or even guilty.

Mr. Kronk, you did right by Caylee!

  23. Ragdoll says:

Blink, I apologize. My comment about Ms. Kissh on the previous thread looks like a cheap knock off of your comment. I really do need to read before posting. Hope you can forgive my severe oversighted-ness.

    lol, cheap knock-offs welcome.

    KLEAT!!!

Most excellent observy! It does appear Casey may be giving her team ‘advice’ on how to up one on the witness.

So, why would this surprise me? The thoughts in my head are sure not Christian.

  25. todd6709 says:

Just a thought….I’m so glad I never was in line with Casey at Target or J.C. Penney’s. Any association with her and you are likely to be blamed in one way or the other!

  26. Liam says:

Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty? Ms Anthony does not have to prove her innocence, it is up to the prosecution to prove her guilt, that a murder was committed and that she was responsible. As ludricious as the defence may sound, I for one believe it is going to be very hard to prove a murder. Watching this trial and hearing the same evidence for the first time like the jurors I can`t shake the feeling this was a genuine accident that was dealt with crazily. There are no winners in this no matter what your view or opinion or the eventual outcome but I have to say, shame on those of you that advocate the death penalty.

  27. Eloise says:

Good grief- of all times for there to be a storm and to have my cable out! I am behind 2 days.

I will say from the bits I have seen, I am disgusted w/ the DT’s approach. I really doubt the jury will not see the, throw everything to the wall and see what sticks approach. When he stated what Geo was said to have done to her, I thought I would fall off my chair while at work.

I feel terrible for Mr Kronk, thank goodness the theory posed is so ridiculous, I cant imagine anyone would believe he was doing anything but the ‘right’ thing for this child. And since when is it wrong to desire a reward when it is offered in the first place? Thanks for the articles Blink!

  28. Sammy says:

If anyone is needing a pick-me-up from any worry that maybe Baez/Mason could be scoring some points with the jury, todays latest installment of Bill Schaeffer’s trial analysis – sure made me feel better.
Especially the last question posed to him by Kathi B.

    http://www.wftv.com/video/28026495/index.html

Thanks Mr Schaeffer! – you’ve eased my weary mind.

  29. Kathy in Florida says:

Good Evening Blink and All….I hope Mr Kronk sues the Armani pants off Jose Baez…..If I recall back on this Kronk theory…Judge Perry politely advises Baez…that there are Lawyers looking for ways to make money such as lawsuits against Criminal Defense Attys….I kinda took that has a warning to back off Kronk….I cried for George Anthony yesterday…that had to shatter his already broken heart….Casey said she “thinks” her Dad touched her…what a diabolical witch with a B.

  30. A Texas Grandfather says:

It is too bad that Mr. Kronk could not get the officer to go into the woods in August. There might have been enough remains to really determine something about Caylee’s death.

Roy Kronk is a hero. He was determined to find Caylee and he didn’t stop looking until he found her.

The whole community needs to get behind this man and support him.

  31. sheri says:

Blink.. what are the chances this bullcrap is actually going to work for the defense? In other words.. how much of a chance do you think she’s going to walk? we all know it’s bs but do you think there’s a possiblity a juror may believe it?

  32. Classygal says:

So wait……… If George agreed that it was an accidental drowning he could have gotten his daughter off of death row. He didn’t agree though. What did he have to benefit from claiming he knew nothing about the drowning? Do you think Baez actually thought George would agree with them just to do “whatever he could” to get his daughter off?

Could it be that George has just had ENOUGH and wants to come clean?

  33. Heidi says:

BLINK… BLINK! Check it out. Casey walks in with something she passes off something off to Jose under the desk. HELLO! What’s going on? Check for yourself…. Please. Is it a cell phone? OMGoodness.

  41. New says:

Kronk our heros lawyer was provided a lawyer by the State. Sure he was a meter reader. He was on the job and the company provided him a lawyer for a long time. When what ever happen at work when he was transfered that didn’t work out he may have been indigent as Casey and was provided a State defender. JB seems to take a situation and twist it. The neighbor with the shovel is suggested to be nosie rosey. Just cause he glanced out his window while on vacation. A twist to damage his credibility. The young lady who was concerned for Caylle safety is suggested to be jealous of Casey living there with her ex boyfriend. The roommates think she was a wonderful mother sure they are not old enough to judge and they know their skeletons that BJ is aware of.

Went to different site to read in Orlando and was surprised at the amount of people who are stuck on the suggestion that George and Lee are pedos. Brought to mind the one jurier who said she can’t judge. This will end up being a he said she said. Casey told Rickardo, Jessie, and Tony that her Father molested her.

The State seems to working by days of occurance with its wittnesses and the Defense can’t ask rebuttal questions if the topic has not been brouched by the State that is presenting first. All the roomates have some no no’s during that time line that they exposed in depos. I think they are doing this for the jurors that have no knowledge of this case so they can get as much of the hole picture as they can present. Just think George needs to fine tune and reread his notes. Seems to be not as aware as he should be and needs to be reminded by the team.

  42. Angellica says:

    @Sheri
I wondered the same thing in the beginning. But after today, I do not think so. It is an insult to human intelligence that Casey or Baez would think that anyone would fall for this load of crap.

  43. gigi says:

Didn’t watch live trial today, had appt. However, started with shovel man and Baez was per usual. I am going to find replays of the parts of miss. Were Cindy, George and Lee in court today? Prosecution seems to know exactly what they are doing while Baez just weaves his little lies to badger innocent people and grins. Casey is starting to look weary. All this time in jail and she found her place and happiness by note writing and eating snacks. The reality of prison for life or death penalty may finally be penetrating that brain of hers. I thought maybe, just maybe, she would break and just start screaming…stop…I did this myself…no one else is to blame. Ha….yes I lived in a guilded world. Caylee Marie Anthony’s own grandparents gave her up to save Casey…..will either break…Lee??? Little Caylee sit down in front of Jesus and love him because his love for you is unconditional.

Blink, looking at the jurors background, education and history of arrest, etc…do you believe this jury can rule beyond a reasonable doubt? I pray so….and we have much more to hear and see. Thank you.

I think they can and I think this trial is going to go quicker than anticipated.

The only surprise I had today was Miss Gonzales the shot girl. What a looker. She was invited to Caylles birthday Party after she supposedly had already drowned in the pool. Did she say she was 21 yrs? In 2008 she would have been what 17 or eightten? Have to listen again.

he will get his karma possibly with the help of the florida board.

  46. New says:

Feeling just a iota of sympathy for George , Cindy and Lee. The private family they tried so hard to protect has just blown up in their faces and to think they helped JB with all their actions and statements to help him make them the perfect scapegoats. Their private perfect life is over now way before Caseys life will ever be decided upon. The irony of it all.

  47. TandT says:

LIAM: Trial just started. Wait till you hear all the evidence before deciding. Death penalty is surely there for a reason.

  48. Midwest Mom says:

    Blink,

And..We have yet to hear what the defense is going to present as evidence regarding Mr Kronk. So what is his attorney claiming did not happen before we hear what happened?

We heard that his son is going to testify to talking to kronk, Is his attorney saying that this conversation did not happen?

Is his attorney saying that the state did not pay his attorney fees? It has been awhile and i forget why he needed an attorney.

Det Allen is very thorough and was searching for a child, the defense presented a picture of him by the site where Caylee is found. What is he going to say on the stand? Is he going to say that he searched there and nothing was found? or that he forgot to search there?

Since “his” lawyer brought all this to our attention I was curious how interested anyone was on what Mr Kronk being mentioned in opening statements yesterday…Nada…In fact,I google his name and there hasn’t been very much interest in him since 2009. If he has done nothing wrong then I don’t think he has anything to worry about.

Midwest Mom- he was flat out accused of harboring and hiding the corpse of a child and then flinging it into a bog for personal financial gain.

Det Allen was at the site of the recovery in that photo, not at a search.

David Evans did not “bring our attention” to Kronk yet again, Jose Baez did, on National TV, and I can tell you as a fact he is going to regret making such an accusation. It is one thing to find character flaws in a witness, and admittedly, Mr. Kronk has had some issues in that area, I don’t deny that. That said, I thank God on a regular basis that he did not quit on this baby or I honestly doubt that Casey would have spent 10 minutes in jail.

The problem is if you make everyone that searched a suspect, it is going to be very hard to round up volunteers for searches when necessary. His attorney fees were paid by the State because he found her while he was on the clock and he paid his attorney personally for any non-case related services.

  49. Columbiares (Pam) says:

Liam- Although I respect your stance and opinions on the death penalty, I don’t think it’s appropriate to say “Shame on those who advocate the death penalty”. I have had two people who I loved very much murdered in my lifetime (not together either). Until you’ve had that happen, you may not understand how someone can support the death penalty. Did it bring my loved ones back? Nope. I truly believe there are some people who are too evil to be walking the planet…truly without a soul. You wouldn’t let a rabid animal live, would you?

  50. Heidi says:

BLINK… I’m still concerned. What ever it was… is causing feedback. After watching Casey pass the item under the desk… Jose acts like….. “Hush to Casey”… who is beaming from ear to ear. WHAT was it? It’s driving me wild. This is why I would never trust the DT. This is why Casey deserves just punishment. What class!
