I sure do hope they charge Cindy with perjury. I mean they locked up that crazy lady at jury selection for shouting out, locked up the kid that flipped the bird. Why would Cindy be any different. In fact what she did is much much worse IMO. Also, let’s see if and when Casey goes home to collect her baby daughter’s ashes. I seriously doubt that will EVER happen. That will just prove to all what a sociopath she really is.

Following links from my search of Det. Snuffleupagus.

Why wasn’t Ryan Pasley called on to testify against Casey (rhetorical)? He knew her better than her family. He doesn’t come across as someone who’s surprised by her extensive experience of lying like a cheap rug.

I have seen the Justice Department swoop in with a denial of civil rights action in lesser cases. I would think that would still be a viable option here, correct?

I am not hearing that there is basis for that. Did you watch Fuhrman?

    @ chelsea,

Thank you, friendy. The Royal couple were a tremendous hit! They did a surprise stop over in Slave Lake, Alberta (a few hours north of where I live). Slake Lake was literally ravaged and almost wiped off the Alberta map by a devestating wild fire. There’s nothing left but ruins.

This was the kind of inspiration this town needed to uplift their spirits. I’m grateful for the Royals extension of compassion <3

Thanks for the link Blink. Fuhrman makes so much sense and Greta’s in “stop him” mode because she wants to have continued access to the jurors. Greta states that she has such respect for the jury and I’ve heard the same from Sunny Hostin (listened to HLN on the way home).

Sunny can’t believe the negative feelings the public has towards the jury! I’m not advocating violence against them, but come on – the public outrage is justified (especially after they speak and try to justify their verdict LOL).

There have been lots of great questions and posts here. I am wondering if there are investigations going on behind the scenes as to this jury and Jose Baez. This verdict was surreal. I can’t help but think that a not guilty verdict was virtually impossible, yet that’s what we got. Runaway Jury alright.

I wouldn’t put anything past Baez (or Mason for that matter).

  8. Ragdoll says:

I’m not familiar with Greta. I’ve seen her show a handful of times at the very most. What I just watched from Blink’s link didn’t impress me. You can respect a jury and still say…they got it wrong. Fuhrman asked a great question and Greta diverted Baez style.

I was just getting all worked up…then it’s done. I feel like the power went out just before the killer was revealed :P

Is their a difference when a TV station pays a person directly for an interview or when they pay licensing fees for pics & names of the people ? I think ABC does that. Perhaps these jurors got paid a licensing fee for their pics & names being used or another perk like the Disney trip for juror Ford.

I like Fuhrman even though he did the no no thing in the OJ case he is the type of person that doesn’t let something drop once he puts his mind to it & he sounds challenged by this case. Greta likes her guests to agree with her JMO & Mark wasn’t going there. Didn’t Fuhrman open up the Martha Moxley case again ?

I recently studied his work on the Moxley case, via a former Behavioral Scientist retired from the FBI.

I have watched his instincts in other cases, he has solid skills, imo.

  22. JR says:

Ragdoll: His name was Kato (not Kiko) and he was thrust into the case not by choice but the uncomfortable position of living on OJ’s property in a guesthouse, originally because he was Nicole’s friend. He was the only witness around that night to know OJ’s comings and goings, went to McD drive thru with him etc.

Kato is also a friend of one of my friends and I met him at a bday dinner we both attended. He seemed very unpretentious, unassuming and basically a cool, nice guy. He was a young aspiring actor up to the murder and trial, but his televised testimony memorialized him as the ‘infamous house guest’ and made it impossible for him to get cast. His friend was murdered and it defined his life, pretty much ruining his career. I don’t remember him trying to capitalize on it, seemed he was the likable guy of the trial and the media kind of ‘chose’ him. He may have been on a reality show years later, maybe he wrote a book I don’t know – but he didn’t inject himself in the case nor aggressively pursue all he could.

I remember that dinner party was when OJ’s book had come out. Someone obviously brought it up – “If I Did it”, Kato smirked and said, “What do you mean IF?” His response got some laughs and I think he used it a few times in TV interviews. But the impression I got that after years of people automatically associating him with the OJ trial and probably always bringing it up, he seemed over it and wished everyone was too.

Weird or what. So many fruits & nuts in this cake

Let’ say I am familiar with Mr. McKenna’s work and I dare say, he pales in comparison to some other unsavory PI’s in this case.

No perjury charges for Cindy Anthony for blatantly lying on the stand. I know it is hard to prove perjury, after all Cindy was on medications that affected her memory. Ok, so I know she lost her granddaughter and was trying to save her daughter but what message does it say about justice. No wonder Casey has absolutely no problem with lying.

What about Contempt of Court for Mr. Baez.? What do you want to bet that goes no where either. A couple of weeks ago Attorney Mark Geragos actually laughed at the possible Contempt of Court charge. He said defense lawyers dont even worry about it. Yea, so what, happens all the time. Not going to happen. Is this all just theater????

It all makes me sick………what an education.

Here are some excerpts from the jury instructions:
    Lets start with Rule 1…

(I didn’t want to clog up the page with the entire document but here is the link. within it you will find in highlighted red where the jury’s reasoning is in direct conflict with the rules.)
    http://phoebe53.wordpress.com/2011/07/12/jury-instructions-for-casey-anthony-jury/

    RULES FOR DELIBERATION

These are some general rules that apply to your discussion. You must follow these rules in order to return a lawful verdict:

    1. You must follow the law as it is set out in these instructions. If you fail to follow the law, your verdict will be a miscarriage of justice. There is no reason for failing to follow the law in this case. All of us are depending upon you to make a wise and legal decision in this matter.

    2. This case must be decided only upon the evidence that you have heard from the testimony of the witnesses and have seen in the form of the exhibits in evidence and these instructions.

    3. This case must not be decided for or against anyone because you feel sorry for anyone, or are angry at anyone.

    4. Remember, the lawyers are not on trial. Your feelings about them should not influence your decision in this case.

    5. Your duty is to determine if the defendant has been proven guilty or not, in accord with the law.

    6. Whatever verdict you render must be unanimous, that is, each juror must agree to the same verdict.

    7. It is entirely proper for a lawyer to talk to a witness about what testimony the witness would give if called to the courtroom. The witness should not be discredited by talking to a lawyer about his or her testimony.

    8. Your verdict should not be influenced by feelings of prejudice, bias or sympathy.

Your verdict must be based on the evidence, and on the law contained in thes instructions.

    CAUTIONARY INSTRUCTION

Deciding a verdict is exclusively your job. I cannot participate in that decision in any way.

Please disregard anything I may have said or done that made you think I preferred one verdict over another.

    VERDICT

You may find the defendant guilty as charged in the indictment or guilty of such lesser included crime as the evidence may justify or not guilty.

If you return a verdict of guilty, it should be for the highest offense which has been proven beyond a reasonable doubt. If you find that no offense has been proven beyond a reasonable doubt, then, of course, your verdict must be not guilty.

Only one verdict may be returned as to each crime charged. This verdict must be unanimous, that is, all of you must agree to the same verdict. The verdict must be in writing and for your convenience the necessary forms of verdict have been prepared for you. They are as follows:

    SINGLE DEFENDANT, MULTIPLE COUNTS

A separate crime is charged in each count of the indictment and while they have been tried together each crime and the evidence applicable to it must be considered separately and a separate verdict returned as to each. A finding of guilty or not guilty as to one crime must not affect your verdict as to the other crimes charged.

About that McKenna guy, he stated that they presented ‘evidence’ to George, to which he gave a 23 second pause and did not answer. Apparently he confronted him with an issue or something Casey told them. Therefore, he says he believes the molestation issue. So, WHY, if they have this supposed evidence aren’t they or Casey rather, persuing charges?

  34. Eloise says:

Thanks for the links today guys. I do have a question- audio on wftv was lousy. Investigator Osbourne, was she referring to what exactly in re to the cacheback programs? I recall in testimony there was an issue with the time stamp, did I miss something else?

Re Furman, drives me nuts. I sure wish he could have finished his thought. Wonder if she will have him on after part II. Though, that discussion will be miles away.

  35. Harleycolt says:

the jury had trouble believing George but did they ever question Casey..Oh that’s right the defense called her a lying slut, it had to be George..the weakest link….caused he seem to be lying…& you can’t trust a liar…duh, Casey

  36. NG says:

Folks, First I want to say that I ABSOLUTELY love Mark Furman. I am always looking for video clips on the internet with his insight.
Second: I just can’t take any more of this. I watched the verdict at my brothers house and could hardly breathe as the verdict was seconds away from being read. After hearing Not Guilty, I nearly fell to the ground with dizziness and nausea. I have to turn to my Lord and Savior now and ask him to look over angel Caylee. I know in my heart that Casey will be held accountable for what she has done. I refuse to let that evil woman have an effect on my life and my day to day attitide. There is evil amongst us and ultimately good will win out everytime.

  37. Sue says:

After watching the wonderful team’s post verdict press conference today, I am more convinced than ever that there will be justice. It’s not showing its face yet, but God has something in store for all the hard work and honest effort put out by this fabulous group of LE officers. I speak for the prosecution team’s effort too. Justice will come – we just have to be patient.

WPG – Perfect word usage for the Anthony’s – “teflon”.

Seems like the liars are winning round after round, but the truth will prevail. The ‘good guys’ will win eventually. Patience people, patience. The ‘heavens’ have heard the uproar loud and clear.

  38. Eloise says:

    Part II:

*We were looking for a felony……..
*We were charged to look at cause of death
*Lee was genuine, lots of responsibility
*Hesitation on liking SAO- they wanted more, they were professional, some poor taste ie: JA & smirking, pigsnablanket,
*DT- always professional, good job, they did good w/ defending, good closing
*All jurors dd a good job- quality vs quantity -lol :)
*Press conf- too much stress for us, difficult for some, needed to gather their thoughts
*Foreman- he was voted unanimously-X one F, but she was voted, geez- Juror Ford?
*Prevote- right away- murder 10-2 NG first hour. The two found tape & *Chloro important- imagine that?
*What changed the guilty? I dont know- it was next day.
    G for lying no brainer
*Didnt pre-research much- Oh really not much?

I had some audio issues with wftv too. I think there were some issues with the software (cacheback), initially. I’m not sure what the exact problem was (timestamps???). Cacheback went back to work on the software, made ajdustments, etc. Osbourne was able to run the program effectively after corrections were made. I believe (could be wrong) that it was the 2nd time they got the 84 hits on chloroform.

I will look for a link and double check my recollection :D If anyone can weigh in, in the meantime…fantastical!

  43. Ragdoll says:

I agree JA had moments. BAEZ….where does one begin?

  44. WriterInTheRain says:

Wendy Murphy has (today) certainly been raising red flags about sealed evidence pointing to Casey pimping Caylee to child predators. While I would like to blow her off, everything she says seems to fill in the gaps of the nagging questions I have had regarding the details surrounding Caylee’s remains. Could someone talk me out of this, or is Wendy correct in applying pressure in this direction to look at her death as a result of child porn pros getting even with Casey for some perceived lack of compliance with their demands? It surely doesn’t take Casey off the hook; on the contrary, it could very well make her responsible for the death in a sinister but peripheral role.

  48. Phyllis says:

I say she has lost all the respect I had for her, and I had a lot. True colors always come out at some point. Just watch the rest of this mess unfold.

  49. Ragdoll says:

I thought the same thing about Greta. I’ve rarely viewed her show, so I can’t comment about previous interviews. I’ve just felt the latest 2 interviews I’ve seen made Greta appear as though she’s chanelling a wee bit of NG, lately. Not nearly as wicked. Maybe this trial is bringing out the ugly in all of us. It really does help to tune out. The longer we expose ourselves to the hype, the longer it will take to move on and put it behind us. Doesn’t mean we’re forgetting about Caylee. Impossible!

Glad I’m not the only one who noticed Greta’s getting a tad snippy.
