I truly can’t stomach watching Mason, the great cornpone orator. I just tried to watch the segments….I felt the haggus rising (hattip ragdoll)and turned it off.
Retching and cussing is all he inspires in me. If I was 20yrs younger I’d consider law school simply to cancel out his dis ingenious smack.
I digress…my defeated speculator predicts the mighty JP will find a way to make the princess not liable for costs or maybe the usual baby tap on the wrist. Maybe a couple of days worth, even though her lead atty told us all that she lied, her baby wasn’t really missing..she had drowned. Even though her DT was unable to present any viable psychiatric condition that would explain her not stopping the worldwide searching and costs associated.
Wonder when Mr. Baez or Mr. Mason or Ms. Simms was informed of this tragic “accident”? Guess we all should assume that it all tumbled out of the defendant “about 6 weeks prior to trial” or it would seem very unethical.

  2. MsEnscene says:

All I can say, MJ, you and I are of one mind!

You really gotta wonder when the C-Skank told her dream team of “what really happened”. More than likely they told her! “Okay, here’s how we’re gonna swing it!”

I cannot wrap my mind around this case. Nothing makes any sense except that she killed her child and tossed her away and then went on to party, yet the case is mired in so much fol-der-rol.

  3. MJ says:

MsEnscene~ so much fol-der-rol fer sure!
The one thing that really blows me away is why didn’t J Strickland nor Perry gag order this fiasco?
It was clear as day that the outrageous thinly veiled accusations and misinformation was being used by the DT to promote themselves and public interest. They had spokespeople, they had “former” team members, they had Baez’ speshful TV contacts getting advance copies of motions, etc, etc.

I’m beginning to believe that the powers-that-be figured that this case would be so sensational that it would be beneficial somehow…so they let it run wild on purpose. The funny thing is, the way it was handled completely destroyed my faith in the system, judges, lawyers, media…this was so polluted and corrupt..and it continues still.

A gag order shutting down the lure of the spotlight would most likely have changed the outcome, IMO. It would have been more of a serious trial instead of the “Event” it became, maybe Caylee herself would have been the focus, maybe the jury wouldn’t have been so coddled and constantly told of the “high profile” position they held.
This was a travesty!! No duh!

Make it 4 – It will be years before my first waking thought isn’t hatred for the C-word and disgust and dismay at the Justice System that allowed this putrid travesty to prevail.

  6. MsEnscene says:

I have wondered about the no gag orders, too, MJ. I can only think that as you said, “everyone” thought he/she could benefit from a wide open case.

Baez always complained about the press and publicity the case was getting even as he trod the bricks of every PR avenue open to him.

No legal sanctions seem to be accruing for the “fiesty defense lead counsel”. We kept hearing that Jose was in grave legal difficulties from his lack of knowledge and observance of court rules and deadlines. The bench “naughty boy” finger shakes at his poor courtroom showing must have been only for the TV drama, not the real life substance.

And one does have to recall that in most circumstances, if naughty boy got a finger wag…Jeff Ashton was included in the legal reproaches.

I’m thinking a winner, even by hook and crook, is one to respect and advance in legal as well as show biz circles.

And then, there are the scream queens of TV crime who certainly had their ratings increased and their focus was always on who was going to win. We know how Baez is now the “go to guy” for everything legal. (Snort!)

Extend his credit to “hard news interviewers” like Barbara Walters and the Today Show gaggle. The Baez fuss truly boggles the mind and brings to memory the wonderful book about courtroom absurdities “The Bonfire of the Vanities”.

Ragdoll, this case would drive Carrie Nation to drink!

  7. MJ says:

With Baez proudly pontificating on any venue willing to put him on, why is it that no investigative journalist dares to ask “when did you know”? Has the collective mindset just swallowed the idea that lawyers will fabricate and bend falsehoods to accommodate their clients and if they are successful, they are to be applauded?
The DT did not and cannot prove ANY of their “defense”. The family that should be hanging their heads in shame are pampered and paid for lying.

One small but important detail does lessen the irritation of the aftermath….the felon won’t change. The incessant need for attention and the thrill of risk taking will be part of her psyche forever. She left a trail of bewildered victims alive and one precious one dead, no matter how she presents herself in the future, she will always be a killer who got off and anyone who has any kind of relationship with her better watch their back. The persona that her DT created, the teeny tiny lil girl is a charade, behind that mask is a heartless, remorseless thief/murderer. Play with her with both eyes open. Wonder how that “spiritual” metamorphosis is going?

Kleat, I am definitely not a Judge Perry fan…and have never been. I won’t go into all the myriad of reasons I think he was a poor stick during trial. I’d like to charge him with neglect of duty in this case. So I’m not expecting any rational decision from him regarding the Felon and her responsibilities to reimburse LE for the cost of her lies.

She’s gotten away with murder…literally…and her care and feeding still goes on by the taxpayers. I don’t expect a karma visitation from the likes of Judge Perry.

I don’t love the fact that anybody makes money off of Caylee BUT a book about the murderer’s descent to madness, maybe so.
I remember reading in a statement by Jesse Grund to LE (iirc) that they continued to “see” each other even though neither of their families were aware. He probably heard the litany of felon’s woe more than anyone else.
I absolutely love the fact that the A dysfunction would be exposed in print, they have cornered the market on revisionist history and defy anybody to say otherwise. They even got the prime spot to delude the world about it at trial. The PT tip toed around them.
I love it too that Baez’ “rep” is crying foul…they bolted out of the gate talking smack about million dollar interviews and they have the gall to trash talk this possible book. Do they really think that their fairy tale is the only one that should be written? Caylee Anthony was the victim here, murdered by a self centered brat who has been deified by her defense team and her family. A book of some truth would be a breath of fresh air in the cesspool of lies.

This is one time I don’t mind being a hypocrite. As you mentioned….displaying the F U in the A’s dysfunction sounds gratifying. The Scams have no control over what is being said.

I wonder if he’ll make a confession regarding a certain detail which in some ways, lead to the c word’s not guilty verdict. Half truths are still lies and maybe it’s time to come clean. JMHO

  12. MJ says:

Hey Ragdoll~ agree wiff ya….my brain is not cooperating though…give me a refresher on the “certain detail”…the abuse fantasy from felon?
If that’s what you mean..I get it. Sometimes it seems like there were so many avenues to take to reveal the true nature of the killer but they were sidebarred into oblivion. I wonder if there was EVER a trial with so many?

  13. MsEnscene says:

Well, I am eagerly awaiting the book by JG! I am postively thrilled that someone irritates the likes of the money-grubbing Anthonys and the venal dream team. Jesse feels that the Anthony’s home, which he labeled as the ultimate in dysfunction, lead inexorably to what happened to Caylee.

Remember, whenever Jesse or his dad would go into much detail about the senior Anthonys and especially Cindy, interviewers would blanch as if suddenly struck by a plague, and quickly change the subject! (The grieving grandma, doncha know!)

Jesse also had some zingers about the weird brother of the family. The one who cried because he wasn’t invited to a baby shower. And who went all all limp wristed, literally, kissing his wrists at Cayle’s memorial crying “CMA! CMA! I am so proud of you!”

Jesse’s book should prove worthwhile reading, if somewhat short! One would have had to experience the Anthonys for more years than Jesse to produce the tome I’d love to read.

  14. RooMommy says:

I would like to read Jesse’s book. He is also a victim in this case in a sense, and deserves to tell his story. Also, I truly believe that he loved and absolutely adored Caylee. He should be able to share those memories if he chooses and talk about how her murder has effected him.

I think the confession regarding a detail that helped acquit cword may be the alleged affair and the comment made to this person that was not to be considered during deliberations. We all know it was considered against instructions otherwise. Sigh.

Wasn’t it Jesse Grund who referred Baez to the c word? Baez, IIRC, helped JG fight a traffic violation ticket. Don’t know if he won or not :P It certainly explains how quickly Baez stepped in on c word’s behalf. Besides, c word couldn’t have gotten Baez’s name from anyone, especially other cell mates, when she was arrested. She was isolated.

    OMGAWH…another lie? Shocking.

    EH?

Baez never represented Grund, at least not on the record anywhere,

She did not get his name. He was called by a mutual interest.

Cindy is at it again. She is going to reveal, evidently, according to Fox News in Orlando, that Casey had a grad mal seizure while Caylee was in the pool. And that’s how Caylee died. Casey is prone to these gran mal seizures, according to Cindy.

And this poor girl had to suffer for almost three years in jail, all the while being a victim herself, never revealing her serious medical condition! Well, dja evah!

The most I will say about this, if the report is true that this is Cindy’s latest story, is it raises a lot more questions than it answers.

OMG…wasn’t it PT Barnum that said “there’s a sucker born every minute”? Cindy lives that quote, she has been the voice of the killer from day one. One lie after the next to protect her murdering spawn and shore up their image in order to solicit donations from suckers.

This latest “explanation” is laughable and I do believe Blink did call this long ago. The depth of this family’s psychosis is unbelievable. They all lie constantly and have zero capacity for anything but using the world at large for their schemes.

One thing that hit me last night while watching a program about a Canadian military guy, highly decorated, very smart yet he was a serial rapist/killer. He broke down and admitted his crimes…the felon must be a truly diabolical killer to withstand the barrage of questioning, the jail time, the evidence..all the while primping and smiling. Her internal wiring has to be so skewed to be able to stand firmly and not crack under the pressure. So young yet so profoundly evil. Granted, it did help that her atty effectively stopped ALL contact and communication but still..for a young woman who had snuffed the life out of her own flesh and blood, no regrets, no crumble. IMO, the clock is ticking on another crime. it may not be for a long time but I think it will happen if she ever feels trapped or denied or just feels like proving to herself how smart she is. A very scary product honed and nurtured by a steely lying family empowered by an acquittal.

Then I guess there should be medical records to back up this grandmal siezure story right? If they claimed this during trial – those records would have needed to have been produced – correct? How does somebody that has grandmal siezures get a drivers license? If you KNOW somebody is prone to these siezures – would you let them drive your child or grandchild around? Surprise, Surprise – what a tangled web we weave……

What a bunch of CRAP. And WHY do they keep changing their story?? Still trying to cover their tracks for some reason – or is it to keep the invites to the talk show circuit coming? It sure as hell isn’t to get the “TRUTH” out there. Sickening…..just sickening.

Maybe they’ll plan a family cruise after the felon is done with her parole & we’ll get lucky and they’ll all get tossed overboard in shark infested waters………One could only hope!

  21. RooMommy says:

This latest is just laughable! I still have not fallen off the wagon and clicked any links, getting the just of the story by the last couple of posts.

Does Spindy actually think any story that she puts out there is going to be accepted and make this all better for her chosen princess cword? Her daughter is a lying murderer of the worst kind to kill her own daughter and any story besides the true one where cword murdered Caylee will be rejected. The 12 jurors may have been beyond ignorant but we the general public are not! We know the truth we don’t need Cindy spin. I wish they’d all just crawl under a rock and go away!

  22. RooMommy says:

And yes she would have to be seizure free for months in order to drive. In order for her to be “grand mal seizure prone” as is sounds like Spindy has said she would have to have actually “had a seizure”. Jesse had taken cword to the hospital at some point when they were together because he thought she had a seizure but they never found anything from what I had read. If they thought she had a seizure she would have had her license yanked. If she was truly “grand mal seizure prone” then she would most definitely be on medications with an actual medical diagnosis. What a rediculous story.

  23. ChicagoJudy says:

Sure hope Dr. Phil has the stones to confront her lying butt on the program and tell her that no one believes that crap or at least ask for some form a verification that her daughter has had seizures in the past. And also ask then why, when the seizure was over, did their daughter than throw Caylee in the swamp in garbage bags. Is that part of what a seizure does to a person’s mind? C’mon!!!

  24. Fiona says:

This seizure disorder must be a family disease. C-word and her enablers all present with the same symptoms. The inability to distinguish between fact and fiction.

A book by Jesse Grund! His story has never changed. He passed a lie detector test. C-word and her scamming enablers, as we all know, have enough stories to fill a library and none of them would ever consider a lie detection test.

The boycott of anything Anthony (other than Blink’s site) continues here in my little world. Thank you all for the many funny, informative posts.

The depravity of this family is beyond astounding.

That’s the second or third thing which came to my mind. So there this loving, caring “natural mother” type…according to Cindy’s own description of herself…and she knows C-crap is prone to seizures. Forget that! Let Casey tote said caring Grandma’s granddaughter to hell and back everyday and allow her to watch Casey in the pool.

Also, don’t cover Casey’s tracks and get the phone number and address of the baby sitter so that if a seizure overtakes C-crank, we can’t get in touch with the baby sitter to pick up said beloved granddaughter. Especailly since we’ve never seen or heard said babysitter.

Okay, so Dr. Phil, in all his infinite wisdom and glory, who is supposedly “pinning the Anthonys down on the whole case’s time schedule” over TWO DAYS on his show… better ask how with, a history of seizures, the Anthonys allowed C-tart to stay in command of her daughter’s well-being as MOTY.

Yuk-yukity-yuk. Here’s a fat case of hubris aimed at you, Phil McGraw!

You nailed it on the head. One cannot have a valid license if you suffer from seizures. A dear friend of mine is currently having seizures and the doctors do not know the cause of them. Her license was revoked until she can be treated for whatever is causing them.

This so called “family” will never change. Just more BS. If it wasn’t so sad–the tragic loss of Caylee–the entire story would be laughable. Even the best writers in Hollywood couldn’t spin a tale like this and sell it.

So are the seizures responsible for Casey accusing GA of molesting her? Gramps is now head of a Grandparents’Rights Foundation (mixed with one for Missing Kids) which garnered a huge donation by Dr. Phil.
It wouldn’t look good for Gramps to be head of this foundation, right, if he were indeed guilty of any sexual molestation?

But if daughter dear was a victim of seizures perhaps all her stories about bad Daddy molesting her before she trotted off to school could be explained by those dern seizures which unfortunately separated Darling Daughter from reality.

For nurse Cindy, it seemed to be the last move on earth for her to send Pop-Tart to a doctor…even when the tart had a “tumor”.

Perhaps that is how the C-word’s seizures, which seem to have separated all the Anthonys from the truth, were allowed to go undiagnosed!

BTW, does anyone know what grandparents’ rights were taken away from the Anthonys that they should head a foundation to help protect those rights for others? Is the right to cover up for the murder of one’s grandchild by one’s daughter in serious danger of being eroded?

I’ll admit to much confusion about the new Anthony “foundation”.
So glad that Dr. Phil seems to understand it.

His dramatic post-court speech, in which he announced he had saved Casey Anthony’s life, drew gasps almost as loud as those that came when the jury found his client not guilty of murdering her young daughter.
It was a rather bold statement to make by defence lawyer of the moment Jose Baez, who has been called ‘the luckiest man in America’ by one lawyer.
Baez was chosen by Casey Anthony to represent her ‘at random’, court tapes revealed, after she heard his name mentioned by other prison inmates.
It was a choice many questioned at the time – both among her family and in the legal profession.

Ya know, this Dr. P show business is confusing to me ( along with irritating, enraging and annoying)….the official trial version of events that resulted in the Felon’s not guilty verdict was an “accidental drowning” with G Marie present. He also was the body disposer per DT.
How can any of them proceed on national TV or print and rebutt this account without calling Baez, Mason & Simms liars? The A’s seem to want to separate the ‘facts’ in order to clean up GA’s image yet protect felon’s. Basically they’re attempting to contradict the official version with the grand mall (good one Blink!) theory. That is that Felon was “unable to sort fact from fiction” and tossed the years of sexual incest and GA’s role in the “accident” into the grand mal wastebin but retain the innocence of Felon.

How do you do that? Either it was that she was there when the “accident” happened and was aware of her father taking the dead child OR he wasn’t there at all and only she was there. If that’s it, why isn’t there some harsh words for the DT that produced the winning story? Why wasn’t there an immediate family tribunal when they learned of the DT theory to vehemently deny and demand that the DT tell the truth of the grand mal theory?
They are consummate greedy whores hopping on any chance to make money. it doesn’t matter how ridiculous and nonsensical…just talk, talk talk while watching the dollars go in the account. Boycott them all!

What really bothers me with the latest spin about the seizures – wouldn’t MOTY have been IN the pool with Caylee? All the pictures I’ve seen of Caylee in the pool she was wearing a life vest style floatation vest, or had some sort of floatation device on. SO – if MOTY was in the pool with Caylee & had a seizure……..wouldn’t MOTY have been the one to drown? Or – if she was in the pool with Caylee & Caylee wasn’t wearing her “swimmies” or whatever…..wouldn’t both of them have drown?

HELLO Spindy…..you make NO SENSE & we’re not that dumb.

“I’m a grieving grandma! Have some compassion! I’m a grieving grandma! Me ‘n George are the most important right George? George! For chrissake didn’t you feel me pinch your leg? We’re the grieving grandparents and we don’t wanna wait until Tuesday to watch ourselves!”

I am sure it will all be explained on Dr.(ahem) Phil’s show, but I won’t be listening…and so I would like to hear if anyone knows what Grandparental rights the Ants are fighting for in their new “foundation”?

Were they denied any rights to see their granddaughter? Wasn’t the fact that Cindy was tired of babysitting and demanded the Felon take more responsibility for Caylee one of the reasons for tension and fights in the family?

Did the Ants feel compelled to enlist the aid of LE in searching for their granddaughter during those 31 days Caylee was missing and were denied any help because they were only grandparents?

Were they denied the right to go to court to obtain legal custody of their granddaughter when they knew her mother was irresponsible in the care of said child? Cindy told a co-worker that it would be too expensive to gain custody, but nothing about being denied any rights to try for custody.

What were the grandparental rights denied to Cindy and George which would make them national figures in the fight for GP rights?

  48. @msEnscene–if I might interject just a little thought to your comments, I would think it all goes back to Sindy’s controlling nature, and the fact that “the slut” could just take Caylee and leave
without so much as a how do u do. she had the power, you see, and that just irked Sindy terribly. This foundation they have started is
nothing more than a way to get money, as we all have surmised. SINdy
knows very well that “the slut” did away with her grandaughter, out of
spite because she thought she loved her more than “the slut”. sorry
    Blink, I had to rant.

  49. pale rider says:

As for these grand mall (snicker) seizures – did they suddenly disappear upon incarceration?????

No, they appeared, lol. In her letters to cookie.

  50. MJ says:

Pale rider @ 7:08….in addition to blink’s response about the seizures coming back in jail..IIRC, she would know they had happened after sleeping or while sleeping or some such shyte…but also let’s remember that her apparently suppressed memories (except for her awareness of GA’s boogey-man status on the “accident” day) came back to her via “dreams” and a “stomach ache”.
Obviously sleep time was when she hit her recall button. She’s an amazing lil gal, if I was Mr. Baez I’d be more than a little worried about her sudden memories. If I wasn’t sure that her middle name is Marie, I’d think it was Pandora.
