Kyron Horman Missing Case Breaking News: Remains Believed To Be Human Located Off Sauvie Island
Sauvie Island, Oregon-There are unconfirmed reports that a teenage boy fishing off of Sauvie Island located a human skull, and potentially other human body parts.
Update 1: As referenced on KOIN, a teenage fisherman believes he snagged a scalp with human hair attached, which he originally thought was horse hair. Columbia County detectives cordoned off the scene last evening and MCSO dive teams entered the water but found nothing. The possible “hair” was sent for testing.
Multnomah County Sheriff Office will not comment on the find, or confirm whether their office has facilitated the removal of same, or forwarded any items to the medical examiner for testing.
Following the disappearance of Kyron Horman, Sauvie Island has been the subject of repeated searchers for the missing Skyline second grader with no results.
It is also the former home of a man considered to be Federal fugitive following a confrontation with a Lincoln City officer with nearly fatal results. Officer Steven Dodds was able to return to duty after extensive rehabilitation.
Durham was a Sauvie Island resident for over 6 years and a volunteer fire fighter until he was removed from duty 6 months prior to the shooting.
David Durham’s dog was recovered injured following what appeared to be an accident in the suspects vehicle and is being cared for by a friend of the family. Mr. Durham has not been seen since his vehicle was recovered in the bay town of Waldport, Oregon.

I talked to an employee at Starbucks inside FM Imbrie. At the time of Kyron’s disappearance SG worked at that Starbucks with the person I talked with. SG still works there but is on leave. The person that I spoke with said she, herself, had not been called before the GJ.

housework, & children– with supportive husbands. We don’t go kill our adoptive, step or natural children
in anger and probably a majority live within the marriage.
As a woman who took post grad courses this Summer with the kiddies under tow, and having to hire a West coast proctor for exams so I could take them past midnight just for some uniterrupted quiet or because that was my available study time due to the subject matter I would have up on the big screen in my office, that is a very real scenario. In my former professional life, I negotiated consulting contracts with boundaries on travel and leave time, as well as working from home, because I had to transport the children daily due to Dad’s work schedule for the most part. There is no question I did not qualify for many contracts because of it, but I needed the flexibility and was not going to be dishonest and most of my clients were a minimum of an hour commute at the closest.
Not complaining, as many people do not have such options and ramping back up is very difficult.

Well, that was kind of interesting. Jane Velez-Mitchell recaps the story, and posts a small time line of that morning. There she says Terri left at Kyron at 8:45, but interestingly, she posts and verbally says that at 9:00 a.m. another student saw Kyron Horman at the school. Kaine does not dispute this at all he says nothing about it, thereby implying the timeline is correct. Interesting isn’t it? (LOL, how many times can a person use interesting in the same paragraph, sorry …boring.)
Oy vey, I am not connecting the dots wrt the stolen GPS, the family that moved away, the FBI tip that led to Yerke’s home. Is it all just another coincidence?

The investigators, while they`re looking for Kyron, it`s either a direct path there or it`s a process of elimination to get there. I have an internist who I discussed a family member with. Gee Whiz! How many words can Kaine possibly put into a sentence? With very limited airtime on JVM, he takes JVM’s very simple, quick to answer questions and drags out (in almost riddle form) his answers. Either he was doing this purposely to avoid extra time for more questions or he just doesn’t get it. JVM had to interrupt him a couple of times to keep him from rambling so she could fit in more questions. The best thing she got from him was that he believes Terri was involved with Kyron’s disappearance.
My heart goes out to Kaine and I don’t think he was involved in the least with Kyron’s disappearance. That being said, however, I think he talks in riddles and I find it difficult to nail down “the truth” in what he says.
I dunno, as a woman with her teaching masters, I am not seeing her posting with glee that her own son went from D’s to A’s once he moved to her parents if it was a battle between the two of them.

When I google mapped it back in March 2011, the satellite showed a white pick up out front of the residence. It was not an F250, it was smaller. (Unfortunately, no longer available, I should have screen shot it, if IIRC it was a google snap from 2010.) No idea if it belonged to Storm or someone else. It just creeped me out. I google mapped it to be 23 minutes from that house to Skyline Elementary and another 12 minutes from there to Stoller Middle School where he worked. Before I first posted posted the images of Storm vs. the image of the unknown at the school, I had taken a long time studying each image. IMO, if it ain’t him, he’s got a twin. Nose, hairline, (although balder now) even the hairs on the arms look the same. But who knows, people are mistaken for other people all the time. Mr. Storm had also been working for a camp run through Marylhurst University, called Creative Arts Day Camp, which since Mr. Storm’s arrest has been closed (even after they had just received some funding in 2010, it closed down),

I have since been told, but cannot verify that the picture of the unidentified man on Terri’s FB, who looks like Logan and is assisting Kyron at a fair, was a Christmas Fair at Skyline. I do not know if that’s been verified, but someone local should know where that picture was taken. I had thought maybe it was at Stoller and maybe James was attending there, but the events in Terri’s FB photos do look more geared toward younger kids.
In any case, I’m sure Mr. Storm has been checked out thoroughly since his case now being handled by the Feds. It would be interesting to know if he is related to the Storm’s on Plainview, that would certainly change his timeline if he had perhaps been staying there on June 3.
Also, coincidentally, or not, Marylhurst is the same University where the prominent Portland architect was teaching and was busted for child porn.

We had, at one time, several possible scenarios of how the GPS could link up with Kyron’s disappearance. I was hoping someone else would jump in. IIRC it was reported missing the morning of 06-04-10 about 8 am (before Kyron was reported missing) and was from a vehicle parked in the vicinity of or at Bob Breide’s house. The question becomes, what would be incriminating on the GPS, perhaps the coordinates were a “dry run” so to speak, or someone knew the GPS would incriminate someone and stole it to use as a bribe, and so on.

Why indeed is the presumption perpetuated that Kyron left school with TH. (KH, DY, TY, & LE whom we all look to for answers, keep insinuating this scenario). It does such a disservice to Kyron and his case, but also the other children. It seems so irresponsible. Without proof to the contrary, no one can really say anything or challenge anything. This community is bound and gagged, to what end? I am lost here. I hope the civil case causes a revelation, to some one, that can do some thing.

To my knowledge, none of us have made the GPS connection, however Blink did hint that it was important to this case. If you recall, the GPS was stolen at the predawn hour of that fateful day, Jun 4, 2010, from a neighborhood in Lake Oswego, on the same street as the gym owner’s home, from an unlocked vehicle and which is the same town as the chief of police memorial that same day where all first responders would be in attendance and otherwise preoccupied.
Most recently, Blink noted that the family house that Roger spoke about that LE wished to interview was within GPS coordinates.
to clarify: I am not suggesting that the search at “Roger” home, or the FBI visit is linked specifically to the stolen GPS, I don’t know.

Well, confused. Ms. Laura Flores Goldfarb (midwife) seems to be Allegra’s mother, so the Flores name was there already. If Tim Goldfarb is her husband, and I assume he is, they seem to have three daughters and Allegra is one of them. Perhaps Tim Goldfarb is Allegra’s stepfather. He has a professional career in health care and they moved to Florida (where one of the daughters attended college) in 2001 from Oregon, though he is originally from Arizona. They might only be attached to the house because of Allegra, who seems to have married a Storm, though a phone # is attached to their names. All JMO.

Popular isn’t always worth it. Last week I slept in rooms on the campus of a big 10 football school where the nightly drunkenness by what seemed like almost all students must well have surpassed Penn State (girls puking all the way home by 9 pm). My poor kid told me nightly refused invitations to party with what she felt were new dorm friends & thus sacrificed fitting in/popular. Being popular in some cultures–the culture of this case for example–isn’t worth the professional & psychological cost.

He may also have been “acting out”, grades dropping, because maybe HE was also a subject of some sort of molestation (just speculating here, don’t quote me…). And maybe that is why he and Kaine got into their whatevers.
If there is a connection between the gym owner, steroids, gps, TH AND Logan Storm, who they may or may not have suspected as being a predator, you’d think TH would give as much information as she could instead of trying to Cover her you-know-what.
I just can’t imagine what she is so afraid of, unless to protect Kiara – but IF she was a loving mother, she wouldn’t be quiet for two whole years, so she’s probably just protecting herself.
And IF she told her lawyers everything (like they are supposed to do), you would think the lawyers would pass some information to LE. Is getting their client off more important than anything else? Good laywers, Hah! I don’t think so. Poor citizens, for SURE!!!

Wonder if Logan Storm knew DAD? or Kaine (who would have been at the school at some point when he was there, right?) If Storm was one of the people at the Plainview Road residence, it’s only a couple of miles from the school, looks like it is directly south.

I am not well-versed on this subject, but if Storm Logan is from Ireland, how is he working in the US? I think you have to get a sponsor to obtain a work visa. Would the Logan’s on Plainview Road been his sponsor? Or does he have dual citizenship? Perhaps one of his parents are from the US. Are the charges brought against him applicable to US Courts or does he have to be transported and tried in Ireland? Has he made any acknowledgement to the crimes committed or is he pleading innocent? Do we know the approximate age of SL and how long he had been in the US up to his flight to Amsterdam? I guess I need to put my research hat on….I certainly don’t mean to rush to judgement but some of the info I’ve read falls into place. JMO
