Missing Lambertville Woman Sarah Majoras Linked To Unsolved 2000 Death Of Friend (UPDATED BODY FOUND)

Posted by BOC Staff | Adam Baker,David Anderson,Sarah Majoras | Wednesday 30 January 2013 6:04 pm

Updated: The body of Sarah Majoras was recovered from the Delaware/Raritan Canal today and is awaiting autopsy with the Medical Examiner

Sarah Majoras was a well known and well liked bartender at the New Hope leather-clad watering hole John & Peters.

While she was not working her barista shift Friday evening into early Saturday morning, Majoras was enjoying a night out with friends there and left her party on foot at about 2AM.

sarahmarjoras2

Majoras was last seen crossing the bridge connecting New Hope to Lambertville, presumably headed to her N. Union St apartment.  Surveillance video of Sarah crossing the E. Bridge St walkway over the Delaware River to Lambert Lane has confirmed Majoras made it to the other side at approximately 2:30 am Saturday morning.

Adam Baker, Sarah’s live-in boyfriend, called police at 2PM Saturday to report her missing.  Baker is a moving and relocation business owner with a registered address located 300 feet from John and Peter’s Bar.

Baker is no stranger to missing person’s cases.   In October 2000, a friend of Baker’s on his way to visit with him ended up missing after crossing the very same canal.  David Anderson was recovered 4 days later in the Delaware Canal spillway.  An autopsy of Anderson was inconclusive and the details of the circumstances surrounding his death are scarce.

Hunterdon County Prosecutor Anthony Kearns:

“It’s still an active investigation,” said Kearns. “We’re treating the case like a missing person case at this point.”

Majoras was last seen wearing a green camouflage army jacket, white knit cap, and glasses. She is 5 foot 4 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds.

Anyone with Information about Sarah Majoras is asked to contact the New Hope Police Department or the Lambertville Police.

How many other people have disappeared after crossing that canal, or how many bodies have been recovered from it, in the intervening years?

    Because that’s some coincidence.

At that location, just Anderson that I am aware of. I did not put it in the piece, because it is pure speculation on my part, but a pair of ladies eyeglasses were found at the scene. They did not belong to Majoras, but my training and experience lends me to believe that it is possible they could have been planted their to think she ended up in the drink.

That canal and river were frozen when I drove past that exact spot on Thursday afternoon. By Saturday morning after we had snow and sleet, the canal had to have a hole cut in it.

I could be wrong, but I don’t think she is in there. What do the cell phones say?

  2. sunshine12 says:

wow blink, thanks for following this. after reading your piece, I don’t think she’s in there either, especially if she made it to the other side. that’s also very coincidental in regards to Adam Baker, too coincidental imo

  3. A Texas Grandfather says:

If the river/canal was frozen and would support a 140lb person, she could have climbed out unless she was unable because of broken limbs or other injuries. In that case, she would have been spotted by daylight.

This Baker guy is probably first on LE list of possible suspects. If he has moving equipment, trucks, dollies, blankets, etc. he could have lured her into a vehicle after she crossed the bridge. People who move things are very strong and know how to use leverage to move heavy objects. Moving a woman who weighs 140 lbs. would be easy.

Divers were in the water for several hours and found nothing. LE needs to check all of Baker’s trucks and intermediate storage locations.

    Cell phones?

I haven’t heard they have found hers, must be tracking his??

Found his business, was much closer to the bridge than I had expected, but from the get go I didn’t get the feeling she was in the water. I do believe he knows though,,,,, IMO

I posted this link over on Morgan’s thread. It is a story of a female jogger attacked and beaten very near where Sarah went missing in the summer of 2010. The sketch to me has some similarity to the sketch from Morgan’s murder. The nose is quite different but the victim in Fairfax was probably looking up at the nose. Police did not want to release the sketch from Fairfax which Blink knows better than anyone else…you rock Blink….and I always wonder if the concern was he looked too African American.

  7. Tarheel says:

That was a little slow to report her missing. Any idea what he had been doing in the meantime? Calling friends and family? Searching?

Certainly is considering she left a bar in frigid temps and was alone at that hour.

Depends on the type of dog, the field rating of it and the handler, but precipitation can hamper their use.

    Blink,
I’ve been unable to find out how long Sarah and Adam have been together.
Since 2000? What is/was the condition of their relationship? What’s his ethnicity?

Working at that bar since she was 23–wow. She may have walked home many a night without any problems. She also probably spent the night with friends quite often, if they carried the party on to another site. At least in her younger years of partying. At 39, Sarah may have slowed some of that down.

Still, wouldn’t Adam expect to hear from her in the morning? By text at night to say where she’s sleeping?

I believe we need to triangulate her home and work, his home and work, and take the apex as a direction for her burial site. Likely not buried, but thrown out/hidden/disguised.

Sarah’s not in the water. Too coincidental with the other MP for the perp to have a do-over.

All very good questions I do not have answers to thus far- not for lack of trying.
    They are both caucasian.

There is no way she took the towpath home, and allegedly her phone dies after last ping at Coryell- which for ping purposes is the same as her home.

This comes down to what time did Baker call the bar, and what happened between then and 2PM the next day.

    B

  12. Word Girl says:

As Jennifer Wohl said, she saw Sarah normally walk across the bridge, turn left on Lambert Lane, right on Coryell, left on Union to home.

Hopefully more cameras will catch her along the route. She may have made it all the way home.

I can tell you it is atypical to have the DA on site for a mp case with no signs of foul play.

  14. Kim from PA says:

I find it odd for a woman to walk 1 mile alone at 2AM. I wonder why one of the friends Sarah was with that evening didn’t drive her home? It was cold and her route home was so close to the tow path along the river. The tow path often has seedy people hanging around it.

I don’t think this is going to end well.

    MOO.

I know this area well obviously- I completely agree that it is unsafe for ANY woman (or man) to be walking alone in this area at that hour, and especially after drinking and in that weather. I personally would never do that, and I used to run that towpath daily.

In my mind, there are really only 3 options- 1. accident ( no way, she crossed the bridge, danger averted and there would be evidence pointing to same) 2. met with foul play in the few blocks between crossing and her home and was not caught on the many CCTV cams in that area or witnessed by any folks. (There was nobody near her crossing the bridge.) 3. Domestic situation

    B

  15. I firmly believe she made it all the way home. What happened once she walked inside…is anybody’s guess. It’s definitely related to her being missing though–most victims are abducted/killed by people they are acquainted with.

How long had these two been actually living together? Anybody know?

  16. Word Girl says:

Here’s a story about the MP Anderson in 2000. His death was suspicious to some of his friends at that time. Adam Baker is now approximately 44 years old.

    http://articles.philly.com/2000-10-02/news/25588201_1_spillway-friends-accidental-death

“Lambertville police reported that Anderson had several facial lacerations of unknown cause.

“There’s just a gut feeling everybody has about it,” said Adam Baker, 31, a friend.

Friends say they do not need toxicology reports to confirm that Anderson was drunk the night he was last seen.

That night was like many other weekend nights, when Anderson could be found at John & Peter’s Place, a favorite bar and music club on Main Street, where he and his current band, ‘abe,’ performed.

It was misting rain at 3 a.m. when Anderson left the bar, friends recall, headed to Baker’s apartment across the bridge in Lambertville to stay the night. He came back to the bar once for his umbrella, but then left and was never seen alive again.

Those who know Anderson say two things are certain: He could not swim. He was afraid of water.

“Whenever you would walk with him along the canal, he would always stay on the far side of the canal, against the hedge,” Baker said.

Besides, he had walked there drunk many times before without ever falling in, friends say.

There are generally no murders in Lambertville. State crime statistics have recorded none in the last decade. And there have been no murders in Hunterdon County since 1994, according to Sgt. Al Della Fave of the New Jersey State Police.”

  17. AJ says:

Anderson’s death was considered an accident. He was intoxicated and likely fell in the canal. Everyone here knows each other and as someone close to the case I truly believe it is just a sad coincidence. Adam called the bar that night when she didn’t show at home, he and friends and coworkers of hers checked her route and called around immediately after (these are close friends of mine) and then contacted police. He didn’t “wait around” to do something. As for her not breaking the ice? The ice was very thin in places and actually there was a case recently of two teens that fell in and were carried UNDER the ice far downstream where their bodies were eventually found. Obviously we are hoping she is NOT in the water and that we can find her alive somewhere but it’s not inconceivable that this is simply a tragic accident.

As for the woman attacked on the tow path in 2010, this was not widely publicized but it turned out it was a hoax. The woman had made it all up. Word is she was covering for some sort of domestic violence incident. So clearly not related.

Regarding dogs, yes a K-9 unit was utilized – they picked up nothing.

Cell phones: they got GPS pings from hers before the battery died (triangulated them to near Coryell St) but have not found the actual phone.

Also, to the writer of this article: J and P’s is not a “leather clad” bar. Maybe you’re thinking of Fran’s? Next time maybe try to interview some of us who know the actual situation and include some real info before casting aspersions and insinuating.

AJ- I have been to John and Peter’s. It was not a critique- I do agree Fran’s is your traditional “biker bar” if that is what you are inferring. That said, I have a dear friend who owns 11 bikes, is a very successful local attorney and rhodes scholar- so I want to be clear we are all friends in our diversity in this community.

You can post anything you want to be private if you mark the first line private, and only you and I will see it until I delete it.

I did not include it in my piece, but I was on site today. It could be a sad coincidence, but I can tell you that investigatively the possibility that it IS NOT has not been excluded yet.

It may, and it is my understanding Adam Baker is being cooperative in the investigation. How is Mr. Baker holding up, btw?

To that end- how was he able to reach people at the bar after close? What time was this? Can you shed any light on the issue as to why LE was not called immediately given the weather and the fact that she texted or spoke to someone from her phone? When did it allegedly die? What kind of phone was it?

Do you know if Sarah’s family called police prior to Adam’s call?

There is no question in my mind that Sarah is loved and respected and that everyone that can is doing Everything they can.

You are correct, it is possible that someone can slip into the canal or river undetected regardless of whether or not it appears to be frozen- the question for me would be how could she have gotten there- as you said, her cell battery died, if that is true, it was not submerged. Le will know that.

When you say the K9′s did not pick up anything- what do you mean specifically? Did they lose her scent as in “she may have gotten into a vehicle” did it lead into the wooded canal area? ( I used to run that route daily, I know it well)

Please accept my sincere prayers for you, your friends and most especially for Sarah. I appreciate you providing any information you can with the goal of finding her in the forefront.

  18. Word Girl says:

Thanks, AJ, for the additional information of what happened immediately after Sarah didn’t return home.

Maybe you can clear it up if you know? Did Adam call the bar during the next day and ask if anyone had seen her and then they went out and walked the route? OR was it at the close of the bar that they went out and walked the route.

Just trying to figure out when the police were called. This is just a horrible thing and I’m hoping she’s found soon. The information about the two teens who drowned under the ice is devastating, too.

As I looked at the photos around the bar, I thought it looked like a great town–different than I imagined–and I’ll have to do a vacation there.

My sympathy to you, your friends, the residents of the two towns and, of course, Sarah’s family.

It is hinky to me Blink. I have read about this so many times, usually with men….no foul play, hmmmm. My sincere condolence to the family and friends.

Well the information I was told used the word “substantive”- which as we all know is a legal term.
I do not have quoting permission on that one though.

The boot was found first and was still tied, that in itself is not evidence of anything untoward-

The fact that she already crossed the canal and ends up in it should be hinky to everyone until new information develops- the clock starts this investigation all over once this poor dear lady was recovered.

She was already past the backside of the canal. There is just no way I believe she took that route in those weather conditions at that time of “am” by herself.

It was dark, cold, and Sarah knew her route home. A woman of her experience who also wears glasses, is going to be careful about her footing. Sensible boots reinforce that point.

In a town(s) where everyone walks, it’s not unreasonable to walk one mile, esp. up a well-traveled road like Union. However, after drinking, at 2am, the buddy system means Everything–for survival.

The Buddy System tonight meant I had to be a buddy and make sure people got to their cars, unlocked bicycles, started motorcycles on a cold, dark night. It was completely worth being able to sleep tonight. Bon nuit.

    Yes. Wise words from Word.
Hurts my heart for those who do not glom on that already. Must work harder here.

  24. Word Girl says:

Rest in Peace, dear Sarah. If your leaving wasn’t an accident, we are here to find out. Much sympathy to your loved ones.
    ~~
We LE said ‘sustantive’ about evidence/the case, I thought of an ‘argument’ heard at her apartment or some other action relating back to a domestic situation. I hope not and hope that Adam had nothing to do with Sarah’s demise.

He might want to clarify his innocence.

I have been granted permission to state this from a source close to Sarah who does not wish to be named:

Adam and Sarah were together over a decade, she was not dating him at the time of Anderson’s death which friends now believe was purely an accident due to over-imbibement but they did know each other.

Friends of the couple do not believe Adam is involved and would be more than shocked if he was.

Investigators have received a report that Sarah was approached by a man at the bar a few hours earlier.

My take: She would have to be the unluckiest woman ever to run into someone she may have had a potentially negative exchange with or this person knew her, and knew her route him, imo.

I personally believe this may be a homicide.

    Blink,
Looks like we were both wrong regarding her being in the
    Canal.
Im completely confused as to how her phone can ping at her
Home (which is past the canal) and yet she winds
    Up in it.
Was het phone found with her?
Does AB owe people money and taking his
Friend and now Sarah is a form of saying
    “Give us our money, etc”
Her boot being tied, does that mean she never took them off prior
    To her death?
    So many questions,,,,,,

A phone can ping with a plus or minus for error based on cell tower- it is so close to her house more analysis if available would be necessary. I am told she had an iphone- so depending on what apps she had on it ( although I am told it was dead pretty quickly) it is possible to know more.

I can tell you if she was located in the Bridge St Lock, that does not jibe with her last ping or anything other than she had to have traveled downstream in a frozen canal that does not have a current in the opposite direction of her home.
    B

  27. Kim from PA says:

The thing that bothers me at this time without knowing anything more than what has been published so far, is how easy it would be for someone to just push Sarah off the edge into the canal and how difficult it would be to prove she did not just lose her footing and slip.

It could be a guy who approached her earlier that night, someone who approached her during her walk home with the intent of robbery, someone who knew her route and stalked her, even another woman who may be jealous for some reason. There are many possibilities here…….including, she just lost her footing and fell.

I would like to know more about her cell phone and where it was found as well as her purse and it’s contents if she was carrying one.

Correct, I don’t know much of that yet. I think her autopsy will inspire direction in this case, but I can tell you Kearny is very active if this was accidental.
    B

  28. Kim from PA says:

    One more thing……..

Was she an animal lover? Could she have seen a loose dog or cat that she followed off of Lambert closer to the river edge and then lost her footing and fell?

    So many possibilities……..all tragic.

  29. Gigi says:

Yep…..just as I thought would play out when I read Blink’s article…Blink.. do you believe the body has been the whole time or was elsewhere then thrown in already deceased..I mean since this area had already been searched…hmmm…and so similar to the other..would not do for me to have investigative work…way too judgmental..so sad…anyone who is dealing with any kind of domestic abuse….get out….report…report…report…it is not going to just clear up, ever..without intervention and reporting and follow up. Praying for her family and friends.

Too soon to tell Gigi but I can say her location and her usual route home do not jibe.
    B

  30. Jack says:

I’d like to know more about the exchange and relationship between her and the man in the bar. Did she know him? Maybe she rebuffed him, and he followed her out of the bar or was waiting for her on her way home?

I don’t know yet if it occurred at Triumph Brewery or John & Peters.
    B

  31. A Texas Grandfather says:

The normal flow of the canal/river should be SSE. Are we refering to a body location North of the bridge?

The fact that she worked and interacted with people who ride bikes does not mean she was around course mean people. All three of my oldest boys have ridden bikes since their teens. The oldest is currently the represenative from his large state-wide club to the state legislature. There is a club in Houston that is exclusivly women who are professionals. I have seen these women ride. They are a beautiful bunch in their leathers. One in particular that I know is the CEO of a speciality electronics house. The movie/TV concept of ugly bikers is far from the truth of how the majority behave.

  32. NY Liz says:

Apparently, the prosecutor is calling it a tragic accident and that all her belongings were in her possession. Just doesn’t make sense if there’s a camera showing she made it over the bridge…

I do not see cell phone listed there, and I presume then that the ME was able to have a preliminary finding less the toxicology. Something in there better specify an accident, imo.

  33. Rivergull says:

Does anyone know for sure if Sarah went down Lambert Lane and then walked to the right onto Coryell St and over canal bridge near Finkle’s hardware store? If she did, it’s very unlikely that she ‘fell’ into the canal after a fall on the ice. The railing on that bridge is new and there’s no room for anyone to slip beneath it. It’s possible that after safely crossing the canal bridge at Finkle’s she could have made a left onto the towpath, instead of continuing straight to Union St. I find it hard to believe that she would turn left onto the towpath at that point…it would be a long dark walk and conditions were icy. Sarah would have taken that into consideration. So the Coryell St scenario leans more to her having an altercation with someone near Finkle’s; he could have dragged her to the area closer to the canal and she could have fallen or was pushed.

IF, however, she took the towpath where it begins on Bridge St next to Green St Consignment shop, there is the possibility that she could have slipped. BUT, Sarah would know enough to walk on the interior of the path, away from the edge of the canal. If she did trip and fall in, I think she would have screamed for help or grabbed onto something. Hard to say. Also, she could have encountered someone, as in the first scenario.

I can only assume Police have established her actual route, which is very important in figuring out what happened.

I am very familiar with Lambert Lane and that towpath. As a local, I doubt highly that she would take that route that evening, but right now no confirmation of her route or the search efforts- which to me would include that towpath if they were conducted as I have been told they were.

I would unequivocally and without reservation advise the family to request an independent autopsy of Ms. Majoras.
    B

  34. EDF says:

Has her cell phone been found? I think that would go a long way in determining what happened. Whether it was found on her, in the canal (assuming this is not the case since it was actively pinging in the hours after), if it was found on the towpath, at her apartment, or elsewhere, not near the canal . Important piece of the investigation I would think. If she slipped and fell into the canal it would make most sense that the phone was on her or near the canal.

Not so far as I know-
    B

  35. Rivergull says:

I do think she took Lambert Lane to Coryell St and over the canal at Finkle’s… it’s ‘the local’ way of traveling over to Union St… whether on foot or by car. Snow had been plowed from the street, so she probably walked in the middle of the street as she crossed the canal bridge. There are also residences in that area, providing more of a safety feature. Somehow, before she reached Union St, something happened. I doubt that she went north on the towpath at Finkle’s, because if she did slip into the canal that far north, it would be an even longer distance for her body to reach Lambertville Station within five days (or so it would seem).

It seems unfair and disrespectful to her family to be speculating so recently after losing her. That’s why I’m not discussing this on the Find Sarah page. The best reason for an open discussion, however, is that there ‘might’ be a perpetrator on the loose. I hope the friends she was with that night will be able to shed some light… and I hope her iPhone is found. Perhaps it was a motive for the altercation?

There is just a lot wrong with her falling into a frozen canal ( holes had to be cut in it for a diver) and ending up in the E. Bridge Lock. It should be noted that the ice is always thicker on the shore bank because the current (there is none) would be through the middle. If I am searching for someone, that is the first thing I am looking for- an entry point. Lastly, wasn’t her boot found North of her?

I am withholding my vast water burial knowledge and training until we hear more- if she fell in, created a hole, unfortunately it is very possible she did not find it again under water and in that temperature and with a mild amount of alcohol, she would be in hypothermic shock immediately. AN important note is that she was recovered, but no announcement that she actually surfaced and it was over 55 degrees here yesterday.

    B

  36. Rivergull says:

I’m a bit put off by some of the remarks from ‘distant’ individuals on this site, who know nothing about the people in this town. It is totally unfair to throw grim accusations at Sarah’s long time boyfriend. I do not know Adam, but those who’ve known him a long time think highly of him as a friend, as does Sarah’s mother. I hope future postings refrain from these unfounded accusations.

Questioning respectfully, and that is ALL that has been done, is appropriate- most especially given Mr. Anderson’s nearly identical passing. No accusations have been made, and I welcome your input, but can promise you that I am in touch with friends and locals ( I am one, btw) and everyone wants every stone unturned. If you are reading all the comments, you know that I already addressed a comment about Mr. Baker from a friend of the couple.

Emotions are so raw right now, I get that, let’s ALL be respectful of advocacy.

    B

  37. Rivergull says:

Well said, B. I’m open as well to an absolutely thorough investigation. It’s just that some of the comments were a bit over the top, so to speak. Thank you for reminding me to be more tolerant. ;o)

Same team my friend, I promise you.
    B

  38. Rivergull says:

So, update me a bit, B, as I can’t seem to find the right info online. The boot was found where? I ‘thought’ it was found in the canal between the Persian rug store and L-ville station. And where exactly was the body found? I thought it was beneath the boot. I’m aware of the approximate locations, but haven’t actually seen a map pinpointing the exact spot. Didn’t realize the boot was found further north than the body. Search lights were still in place near the Station last night when I drove by… I assume they were making sure nothing else was there. Bottom line: accidents can happen, but if Sarah was harmed Justice needs to be served.

The boot was retrieved, it was floating, so I can’t say for sure how or when it surfaced, but as an indication there was no current.. you do the math. Kearny was on site all day. There is one translation for that- he is contributing or overseeing contribution to the supporting crime scene or “accident” scene for the ME finding. That does not mean this is not an accident. It means, in my mind, there was not enough at autopsy to exclude a possible homicide or to include it.

More on this as I learn more.

I totally agree with you- not a tin hat site here, and if this indeed was an accident then the community is going to need to consider safety precautions.

She was found in the Bridge St Lock.

This article makes it seem like the search churned up the water and then the boot surfaced……..and searchers then found Sarah’s body very close to where the boot surfaced.

    Except from referenced article:

“On Wednesday afternoon at about 2:30 she was watching and photographing search activities in the canal near Lambertville Station restaurant. She said the search in the canal was somehow churning up a lot of slush and other debris, and she saw the boot when it appeared on the surface.

“Do you see this!?” she asked another onlooker, and then went and told a police officer who was standing about 40 feet away. The area was blocked off and soon the body was found near where the boot had come up.”

If you look closely, you can see the ice pockets. In our area, we were frozen until then.

‘Found this interesting, regarding restoration/maintenance of towpaths and park land:

“The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission will be conducting a renovation and rehabilitation to the pedestrian bridge located at the day use area within Bulls Island Recreation Area. The footbridge to Pennsylvania will be CLOSED to the public between Sunday, March 3, 2013 to Friday, May 3, 2013. Please plan your routes accordingly.

The New Jersey Water Supply Authority will be repairing the Colonial Park Spillway. The towpath between Amwell Road (Route 514) and the Weston Causeway in Franklin Township (Somerset County) will be CLOSED to the public from Saturday, January 19, 2013 to Sunday, June 30, 2013. Please plan your routes accordingly.
Park Users will be re-routed via the Lambertville Streets.

If you are heading south – users are asked to make a RIGHT onto Coryell Street, cross over the canal, make a LEFT onto the Lambert Lane, and continue to Bridge Street – where the towpath can be accessed again by the Lambertville Station Resturant.

For park users heading north – users are asked to safely cross Bridge Street, cross the canal heading LEFT (towards the Delaware River) and then make a RIGHT onto Lambert Lane. Head north on Lambert Street to Coryell Street. Make a RIGHT onto Coryell Street – where the towpath can be accessed again by Finkles.”

Perhaps a local can describe the locks and how they are accessed. Is there a bridge over the lock where Sarah was found? Is it the type of lock that prevents a free flowing river/canal? Are the tides utilized in the locks?

I’ve been reading and looking at maps but have been unable to comprehend how Sarah’s body got there.

Has there been local contention about the waterway/locks? Could someone have something to prove regarding their use and maintenance?

Dearest locals, thank you for joining us here, whether you’ve commented or not. I can only speak for myself because I think I can seem insensitive and in a hurry, making categorical statements. I don’t mean to be harsh and I want you to know why I’m making such an effort to understand this tragic case.

It’s because I believe that violence is preventable, accidents are preventable. And I don’t think I’m stretching to believe that we can make a difference in this world if we can understand and possibly remedy those situations.

Let’s save the next girl. And every single one after that.

Here’s a photo of the canal where the body was found.

The story also details Sarah’s habit of walking if she had been drinking and says she had been listening to a friend’s band at Triumph Brewery before she went to John and Peter’s.

Blink – regarding my comment and link in #35, they’ve now removed the wording about her belongings being with her. Not sure if this means anything…

Thanks Liz- interestingly she had a flashlight on her- I would say that might increase the chances she took the toe path.

This article also says she was found South of E Bridge St. If she took the towpath as suspected, she traveled pretty far and I am not really understanding how she did not surface like the boot- although the boot surfacing could be evidence that was in the process. The amount of water in her lungs may provide at least some answers- but in that frigid frozen waters, instant hypothermia slows everything down.

I pray there are definitive answers for her and her family. And I pray that people adopt the buddy system without fail. Whether this was indeed a tragic accident or something nefarious, the only way I know to mitigate the chances of either is to take away the opportunity.

I just follow comments as they are posted. I have no expertise in any of these matters,so I pretty much choose not to comment. The one thing that is confusing to me is that her friends stated that “at the time, she and Adam were not together.”

I am confused, did they still live in the same residence as “roomies?” How long have they been apart..I know it was stated they were together for ten years…but how long ago did they break up?

Is one to assume it was an amicable parting of the ways, because they still shared a residence, or was it strictly for economic reasons that they did not live separately.

As for the other “accident” that occurred, what would have been the motivation for someone to have killed this person,to the point why would Adam have a grudge against the man that died aways back.

Tiberious- I am not sure what quote you are referring to- but I believe that person was just addressing the fact that Baker was not with Majoras at the bar- as in not together at the time.
