Kyron Horman Missing: New Years Eve Settlement Ends Horman Marriage

Portland, OR- In a surprise court hearing,  Judge Henry Kantor signed off on the agreement between Kaine Horman and Terri Moulton Horman to end their marriage this afternoon.

Details of the agreement have not been released publicly, but according to KGW,  a financial settlement to include child support and a lump payment to Terri Horman has been reached.

In what can only be described as a bitter family court feud-  the divorce matter was last in court on December 16th to decide if the Horman landscaper,  Rodolfo Sanchez Estrada -who alleges Terri Horman tried to hire him to murder Kaine Horman at a lunch meeting – would testify.

Judge Kantor has not yet filed an order from that hearing but Attorneys for Terri Horman were granted a continuance from the pending temporary custody motion scheduled for December 19th and 20th.

I found the episode. It’s called Pizzeria Napoletana, Season 1 episode 13. You can see him about 7 minutes in and it’s very brief, but WOW! It looks so much like him! The episode aired January 2012, so filmed sometime in 2011. This boy looks pretty young but I’m a terrible judge of age so it’s hard for me to tell if he’s too young to be Kyron.

As for People mag. I only look at it if I am stuck in a dr office and there is nothing else interesting to read
So I don’t understand DY putting so much faith in them
I really did shed tears with her at first but after this Roseburg deal I have not felt the same But of course I want Kyron found and united with her
    Don’t we all

Thank you Malty my feeling exactly.

blink. I have to respectfully disagree about who is leading whom.
Warrior Green published that article originally to no outcry. ….

Blink, Rose is correct. It was nearly 2 days.

Also, post leader’s cry, 4-5 donations immediately posted. Next day, disappeared.
Very interesting. I suspect that anyone’s PayPal Funding page has no oversight. Hence
funds can be recorded and distributed helper-skelter?

  5. A Texas Grandfather says:

If the search is factual, it could be another of DY fantasies in an attempt to get attention on the case. This woman has led a strange life as an adult regarding her choices about men and how to take care of her children.

I cannot believe that TH would not do the best she could for anothers child of Kyron’s age no matter what the circumstances if she were responsible for their care. Any parent bio or other, worth a dime would make the effort.

I’m like Malty regarding People Magazine. It is nothing mote than a national gossip forum with an occasional interesting story factual or fiction or combined.

  6. Rose says:

    @vw. That’s funny.
Haven’t been comments or donations there for awhile,
which was weird given Warrior’s daily donation url pleas.
So you are saying donations post to gfme, but then disappear pretty fast?
Well, if so, the public knows who the Admin is, but no accounting of
income/outgo has ever been posted. Since the “fraud” scare the site
once published (about local phone calls?), whose perpetrator was dusclaimed,
I have wondered if placing daily pleas for donations into
3rd party website hands was part of an effort
to avoid fraud complaints by TH et al, because arguably
    funds have been used
in stalking activities (posters, fliers, etc).

here’s the way I see self-help donation pleas. I contributed a bit to that NY bus driver.
The solicitation & disbursement was from an independent 3rd party.
It was time-limited & for a particular purpose or statement.
I would contribute to either KH or DY if the solicitation & accountability were
thru an independent 3rd party, if it was tomelimited, & for a
particular purpose. ie one coukd advertise something like I have retained X private investigator.
    I have signed a
contract obligating me to a minimum of x and a maximum of x. Over the next 30 days,
we will tryto cover this need. Or ditto for a search: we have a search scheduled
for x (dates flexible). To purchase supplies & reimburse search partner expenses, we need x.
Between now & the search date, help us with this need.
That is, I suggest fundraising would be more successful and
transparent if done task by task to find Kyron.

Pieces are (I hope anyway) missing, otherwise, the order was what we saw scribbled on by Kantor that was introduced by HouzeofBunches and then resubmitted by Kantor. ???

Why would this strange, rambling is right, what I would call a *blurb* be filed unattached to anything? If, and I say if because there is no signature that it even came from Kantor, but IF it did…….OMG we need a new judge. We all spoke of Kantor being a participant of the learning curve in this case, this is evidence IMO of being well behind the curve. The Judge is throwing up questions to the attorneys that ask “what would you like me to do, I ‘thought’ you wanted me to make a decision, so I did”?

@TRuth. per vw perusal of file, this page did not “come” from JK but is an exhibit to some motion or brief by Engel, an exhibit which is seemingly a verbatim Court transcript excerpt from the relevant hearing, submitted by Engel as Exhibit to prove a point (forestall more “record” on the scope of RSE testimony). What Engel has to preclude at all costs is scope brief & argument on the record (appeal data). This excerpt makes JK look as if he’s a single-issue voter for Ellen or Kitz imo,

i understand le has to hold back info sometimes but this case seems like they have held back every single thing. and i wonder with dy saying that about kyron being seen out by the truck would have broken this case if le had just been honest and open about it. for instance ” Kyron may have been seen outside by a truck that morning” and asked for witnesses. instead wr got a confusing request about a white truck and it had pictures of tmh and dd. so if someone had seen kyron outside by a white truck they wouldnt say it if it wasnt tmh’S truck. and like blink said way way back what would have happened if parents that went to sci fare got together and talked about what they saw that day. not being allowed to talk about it still 4 Yrs later? 25. Miss Bri says:

@erose – that’s exactly why I’m so hesitant to report it. I don’t want to waste MCSO’s, FBI’s, etc. time. I guess bold enough to walk into a school with 500 people and abvduct a kid. I’m going to pass the info on. It can’t hurt.

I think any genuine potential sighting should be reported. Unfortunately, this is not Kyron.

Update: A Canadian friend of mine was able to send me the picture of the little boy that Miss Bri saw in the YGEH video. Although he does resemble Kyron, I don’t believe it’s him. Much thinner face and zero facial moles. (Kyron has one very prominent one just below his glasses and I believe another one on his face, plus one on his hand.) He looks to me to be about 7 yoa. Kyron in 2011 would have been 8 going on 9. I can’t be sure if that’s the little boy the wall of hope poster was referring to, because there’s no view of him showing his “teeth”, as in a smile, but IMO it’s not Kyron.

As there’s no evidence this child being deceased, I’m gonna’ keep looking for him. With all the baby pictures they keep posting of him everywhere, I have to constantly remind myself that this little guy will be 12 years old in September and not so little anymore. Keep up the good work all. (JMO, but Kyron looks a whole lot like his brother, Quinn, so the older he would be, I look back at some of those pictures of Quinn to try to get an idea of what Kyron looks like now.)

OT local story – but does it bother anyone else that a person who would not do this if in her right mind or if not intimidated/manipulated by someone, is referred to by a non-human term? The writer could say “the woman, who was suspected of being used as a drug mule,” or something. (I thought “poop out” was a bit less than professional, as well.) I know we call people robbers, burglars, offenders, etc., but we all know those are terms for actions taken by people. There are times when an individual does something so awful that people accept calling him or her “monster”, for example, but I don’t like to see a group of people labeled as less than human. IMO, it’s as bad for us as it is for them.

PORTLAND – Officers arrested a woman smuggling a pound of cocaine after two balloons full of drugs ruptured in her stomach Monday at the Portland International Airport, police said.

The suspected drug mule, 29-year-old Lavona Tashica Anderson, was found unconscious in a bathroom at the airport. She was taken to a Portland hospital where she started to poop out 31 small balloons of drugs wrapped in condoms, said Sgt. Pete Simpson with Portland police.

Over the next two days, police recovered 38.5 more balloons that each weighted 6.5 grams.

    @Truth/Rose
Exhibit #3 is the original memo by Bunch 16 pages…for full discover and the subject of the latest article by Maxine and KGW. In it he lists the factors to weigh and emphasizes a need to balance 14th Amend. rights, etc. I’d thought the MSM had linked that, but can’t find it on anything other than the UnBlink, so I will go ahead and make copies and put in up. The #2 exhibit is merely Kantor’s original Order, last fall, in which he states that both sides can create their own discovery.
@Truth…i asked about the judgements. Clerk said they were not necessarily the same. Not in file so could be verbal? Related to technicalities? The postponement was, yes, the “editing” and finalizing Bunch’s request to postpone the custody hearing. There is something else out there, just not in files yet. I’ll look again.

Yes. This was Kantor’s actual ramblings, in court, in response to Bunch’s request to revisit his “order” to not all cross on the MFH sting part of Rudy’s future court witness.

It supports, as exhibit, the Motion of Engel’s to Strike Bunch’s last request to fully cross.

In a nutshell, IMO, Engels is making a case that since Kantor already made the decision to not allow Rudy’s last meeting with TMH to be crossed that Kantor should not allow any more discussion of such. And that Kantor was ONLY asking to be briefed on what to do SINCE he made a Ruling, not IF and not PLEASE RECONSIDER your ruling.

You again bring up a very interesting point. Why wasn’t Kyron Horman’s abduction classified as an abduction?

Perhaps therein lies the key. The key we obviously don’t possess, but what could it be?

Kyron was most obviously abducted if he was seen outside by a truck with someone when he shouldn’t have been there, right? Kyron was most obviously abducted if he did not wander off, right? Even if TMH had him abducted, or did her herself (apparent timeline contradicts this), why was it not listed as an abduction, parental or otherwise. Missing & Endangered as far as I know could apply to Kyron wandering off and being attacked by some wild animal. This listing “missing & endangered” tells me LE has nothing in regard to this boys actual disappearance. JMO

So……why wasn’t this case listed as an abduction? Is it because no one saw him abducted? I could be wrong, but I don’t know if that’s the criteria. (Help here please?)

I was reading a couple of days ago about victimology and how important a role in takes in assessing a situation. It talked about risks and what made the victim more at risk. (For instance KH & DY’s reference to recent conversations with Kyron about following any adult instruction while in school.) But what got my attention in the paper I was reading was actually what risks a perp is willing to go through.

Risk taker. Yep. Who else would take a risk of abducting (and yes it was an abduction whether he went out with TMH or anyone else) from a school full of people? As I read on, this caught my attention, it said that whomever would do such a thing; i.e., take risks in such a “social” atmosphere, would most likely have really good social skills.

I apologize for not linking the article I was reading, but I’ve lost the link. Anyways it made me start thinking about things I had not previously considered. I’ll go look for it, if you’d like.

–when so declared, FBI would take Lead.
Can you imagine how long Staton would last with his “men” & the Union when he gave up all that overtime?

–would strick terror in the heart of all PPS parents,
require a lotta ‘splaining by Carol (who lacks regular job evals & accountability anyway,
and would guarantee lawsuit liability, happening on premises.
All City Fathers holding elected or appointed Office would be agin
hanging PPS out-to-dry imo. Including big business owners wanting
    to attract or hold employees.
Kyron’s only advocates were his parents imo, & imo only Terri would take on
pps & mcso. Therefore she had to go imo.

    Weird Guy in Portland…

The man who approached us was obviously intoxicated, but still seemed in control of himself. He almost looked excited at the mention of Kyron and “joked” about keeping the child in his basement for the past three years, while the police thought the stepmother killed him. He even mentioned other people have reported him to the Portland Police Department in the past, but the police have never been able to “figure it out.”

Well, I’m confused. I thought it was you, not I, who said 4 donations were posted on gFm but removed the following day. I only stated I’d donate to an independent 3rd party gFm for a specific investigation-associated task which had both a $ amount & time goal.
    @Rose said,
    I agree with TRuth that
    “#130. 12/19/13 12/18/13 Order
with motion to postpone hearing is granted as modified.” is
“the same as this: “Motion and Order to Postpone Civil Hearing” (which was the scribbled up one with Kantor’s changes on it)”

imo the “as modified” is the final order he gussied up to his liking. The only problem is he did a 360* turn with Bunch’s proposed order completely altering the meaning (ie from prelim to final). what a pencil.
    #####

#130 yes…final order, for the postponement of the December two-day hearing.
I was referring to the “postponement” Engels seems to be wanting, now. But haven’t seen Bunch’s response to Engel’s “Motion to Strike..” brief.
P.3. By my reading, Engels is suggesting to the court that Bunch has yet to brief on the issues Kantor required in Exhibit 1. (i.e. his ramblings) and therefore a postponement is in order.

And, yes, I did see a “disappearing” act in regards to funds.

  46. Rose says:

imo this will never go to appeal because they’re gonna settle,
but if it does, can you imagine an appellate Court getting this file
& the transcripts? JK better pray not. Tho
I want to see Bunch’s brief go up.
Right now I’m gonna treat the file
as an Incognito-Martin style tawdry dispute
and wait til the referee rules (or rambles).

lol, I agree it will settle and moreover I think JK will encourage that.

thanks for the link. after reading the comments below the post – I was left with this sinking feeling, that you couldn’t blame some people from being put off coming forward if they had information, incase they too would be subject to moronic comments.
and then I got to thinking that maybe there have been people out there, from the start of this case with relevant info, that have seen the vindictive spew on facebook etc – that are plain too scared to come forward.

I realize Blink attributes the change in attorneys “arguing” before JK to a conflict of Rackner.
On the other hand, had she a true conflict she would have withdrawn.
My speculation based on his “final rulings” and their basis, and the nature & scope of Engel’s “arguments,”
is it may be JK has a certain negative transference to sharp women and a highly positive transference to
certain types of male personalities (those full of ego & bluster), and they realized that. Also a reason for TH to often not attend.

Regarding WGIP (Weird Guy in Portland), the following things stood out to me:

    1) WGIP mentioned 3 years. A lot of people will know Kyron’s name, but are they going to be able to whip out a voluntary, factual statement of how long he’s been missing? A complete loon might simply say, “I have him in my basement.” But saying he’s had him in his basement for 3 years shows a different level of knowledge. Mentioning the passage of time also sounds like a braggart who is growing impatient.

    2) WGIP was so eager to talk about Kyron that he mis-heard someone who didn’t actually say his name.

    3) He’s aware of the tunnel-vision on Terri and keeping track of who LE thinks did it.

    4) WGIP saying that the police have never been able to “figure it out” sounds like someone who is starting to tilt away from the arrogance of “I’ve outsmarted you” toward an impatience with the incompetence of those who should be “figuring it out”.

looking back for RSE info, I stumbled on this pithy page with insightful comments from past leading luminaries. I particularly remember Blink’s “Satori, you’re a Smartie.”
    http://blinkoncrime.com/2010/09/09/kyron-horman-missing-case-review-and-birthday-wishes-to-the-frog-prince/
If you read down, you’ll see the pickup on the over 40 white male by Satori.
As Blink says, men similar demographically were present.
But, did Adams know this one reverberated with E Mathews, so singled him out?
