BREAKING NEWS: Jesse Matthew Abduction of Hannah Graham also linked to Morgan Harrington Murder
BREAKING NEWS- sources inside the investigation of both the murder of Morgan Dana Harrington and the abduction with the intent to defile of 2nd year student at UVA, Hannah Graham have confirmed to S. Christina Stoy, Editor in Chief of www.blinkoncrime.com that DNA belonging to Jesse Leroy Matthew, Jr matches the DNA link to that of a wanted suspect in the Harrington murder.
Further tests are being conducted to connect Mr. Matthew to a 2005 Fairfax sexual assault as well.

She works at a farm and said that someone who lives on the farm goes to Lazy Parrot and says that LJ went there each Friday for a drink to start out his evening. There is a road, Riverview Drive behind Lazy Parrot that goes almost down to the river. It is she that I was walking with at Riverview that first Sunday and we think we saw him there. We have called this into helpline 3 times and haven’t heard back yet. Also, out Barracks Rd., just past LJ’s apt. are a couple of ponds near Colthurst.

On the same day, these dates kept repeating,.ive been thinking from the beginning he was in denial of the cameras cuz he’s so out of control, he was ready to get caught .but I was thinking about the injuries to liberty Vic,fairfax and morgan’s shattered bones ,as to blood .did Morgan bleed out ,if so, where, cuz I can’t imagine him being so wasted drunk but stealth in the disposal moving blood loads.does he keep a tarp in his trunk for just in case. To your point- I cannot say about “Sr’s” involvement- I have concerns elsewhere, but I do agree with you it is possible that Mr. Matthew was not acting alone.

@Blink. I read it today somewhere on Help Find HG site where comments include tweets from reporters & papers and articles. I have just looked for it but can’t refind, perhaps because I don’t sign into FB and these comments move quickly & become inaccessible to me. My memory is the source said the Chief this am requested anyone with specific knowledge of Hannah’s location to come forward, but I can’t refind what I thought I read. Thank you Dr. Pepper for that info. My guess is that even if he didn’t live there at the time of Morgan’s murder, that he visited that area a lot and knows it quite well. I really do believe the forensic link is DNA (fingers crossed). And I agree, justice for all and any of these young ladies who have been his victims.
Pale rider I remember reading that report too, nearly five years ago, of the black man in the black SUV that was at Anchorage driving on the farm I think, and said he was Mr. Bass’ brother. I’m wondering if Matthew has a friend or family member whose vehicle he borrows from time to time, for going places he doesn’t want to take his car. I don’t know if his father owns a vehicle. I did read somewhere that he has perhaps been homeless at some points? I also saw the news report remark this morning that made one think that they think someone helped out. I think it was something like ‘someone knows where Hannah is’ but I don’t remember which channel it was on. I’ve been trying to find it again, but so far, no luck.
Fwiw- I believe that the AA male in the dark colored jeep has been identified and is not a person of interest.

IMO – he headed for points north in 04 because he feared some of his handiwork in the south would be discovered. But it wasn’t or at least not linked to him.
We do not know enough about him yet to say whether he was overwhelmed by compulsions. He roams. He is mobile. He appears to have a schtick down pat to attract and engage victims. Could be the smilin’ cabby or the Gentle Giant routines.
I have a hard time thinking he always acted alone.
Still all just speculation about how often he has struck and where. Sadly. TBD ….in multiple jurisdictions.

In my opinion, JM was using the gentle helpful appearance to the public as a disguise just as in nature where some carnivorous plants and animals use disguise to lure their prey. I believe he was always on the hunt. My earlier reference to football was the trigger to his evil side.
If LE were to spend the hours looking into his background, I think they would find that as early as middle school he was “hitting” on the girls at school. Unless there is someone or something to put a stop to such behavior, it will grow until it becomes an obsession.
I cannot believe that he was able to operate totally alone in all these years and further that he confided in no one. His family did not think he was anything but the gentle person or so they told LE and the media. This family probably has members that are well known to LE for minor and major crimes.
LE may discover that some of the time he had a prearranged place to take his victims and hold them for a period of time. Other times he was quick to attack the victim and leave them where they were. In the case of young woman in fairfax, we don’t know what may have happened because he was found in the act by a man and he ran away.
Hi Blink and Blinksters! I haven’t commented since Morgan’s disappearance and I’m not sure what name I used then. But, my question is this, Blink. Was JM interviewed after Morgan’s disappearance? Was he on anyone’s radar at the time?
I just found a little notebook I used for notes when many were discussing Morgan’s case years ago. I have read through my notes to see if anything jumps out. Not much, but it does make me wonder about a few things. Blinksters discussed RH (AA male) quite a bit at the time–any connection? I didn’t find anyone with the last name “Matthew” in my notes just one set of initials, DWM, that had some connection to the Sutherland house. I also wrote that someone with the initials SH was key (I do have his name) and that he was about 30 yrs old and fishes. I started taking notes because there were so many names being discussed that I couldn’t keep straight who was who and how they were connected. Oh well, none of them really help me now.

I am an employee at a large public HS in CA, and the initial reception of what I have to say isnt going to be popular at first glance. But as the father of two precious daughters, I assure you I am not about to intimate, or outright blame any victims. I do however hope to provide some insight.
We’ve all heard the phrase, “They don’t make (fill in the blank) like they use to!”. You could fill in the blank here with ‘teenage girls’. It is not uncommon for me to have the unfortunate opportunity to see and/or hear, UNPROVOKED by any male students, either language or activity that would make Larry Flint blush. And I am no damn prude. I’m talking girls amongst girls…what they would do to this guy and that guy. Using dialogue straight out of a porn flick. Whats worse, is their reaction when called on it. They are so flippant, and blase it becomes terribly embarrassing to then try to establish a baseline for inappropriate!? Given my experience, it isnt a stretch to believe that one of these little girls could/would talk themselves right into a situation that they cannot control. They talk big for whatever reason-(add any childhood trauma here), but deep down the end result isnt what they intended at all. No still means no, but you give a teenage boy 2-3 conversations with a girl who talks like this, and in his mind every teenage girl “is down”, to steal a line from the kids.
Alarming sidenote-JUST TODAY the student leadership were playing music in a courtyard area that they do periodically as a reward for a clean campus. 3 FEMALES DJ’ING-ALL VALEDICTORIAN MATERIAL. I’d be lying if I said the staff doesnt enjoy the music and the atmosphere, it breeds school spirit. But at one point the song “Lovin’, touchin’” by Trey Songz is played. LOOK UP THE LYRICS. I, being still somewhat hip immediately recognized it and told our Principal who shut it down. THAT is what our kids are exposed to daily…and it crosses all socio-economic boundaries…
Is my suspicion Defense postponed the Initial Hearings without bail because he will use that time to have Mr M examined & a report made available to the Court that questions mental capacity a reasonable suspicion?

Has anyone looked into rapes and/or abductions in the early 2000′s when JLM attended Albemarle High School and then Monticello High School? Also, why did he switch schools? I assume he must have played football and maybe wrestled at both schools. The coaches would know. With him living his entire life in C’ville, there must be a plethora of people who have “stories” to tell about Jesse. Are they coming forward?

Jane, you asked me about the circumstances around my friends meeting JLM and the only thing I’m comfortable saying is that the situations mentioned in Coy Barefoot’s “timeline” were almost exactly what my friends experienced on a different weekend…the same disregard of personal space toward these young ladies..

Having a hard time understanding why everyone thinks he couldn’t have acted alone. Solely based on lower IQ/lack of sophistication and planning? Or have there been other indications of a second offender that I missed? Are we thinking a family member, or a close friend? This guy doesn’t strike me as having a lot of CLOSE friends who’d want to cover this up for him or even participate. Are there many tandem sexually motivated offenders out there?
To Ragdoll- I am praying for you and your mom. To all of the ‘Blinksters’ and especially Blink: It has been a long and heart-breaking journey of knowing the horrible tragedy that our shiny girl Morgan Dana Harrington and her family have been through to find the monster(s) that did this to her. Also, along the way we learned of many other innocent young ladies that have had their wonderful future taken away and the devastation and suffering their families have been through. I pray for Hannah Graham and her family every night, as I do for all of the other missing ones. I will gladly turn off my electricity so that Richmond will have a little bit more to fry these monsters when their day comes. I know this may sound harsh but there is no excuse for the horrible acts they did.
I have always had a hard time believing that foul play was not involved in the death of Jamisha Gilbert. The timing of it in relation to Alex Murphy seemed always to be sort of a…look RAT is innocent…someone else is looking for young AA girls. Also so funny that her last name was Gilbert just like Morgan’s mom’s first name Gilbert. If and this is only MOO if JLM and RAT where involved maybe JLM was unable to operate alone and that is why Jamisha got away and was not sexually assaulted although died. She died in a cemetery. Weird..cemetery Gilbert..timing of RAT’s arrest. He may have also failed with Hannah and got caught…He needed help, he can not do it successfully without help.
Blink – you mentioned the Lane Bryant slayings. Are you referring to the 2008 robbery and shootings in Chicago? Other than the perp’s description, why would JLM be connected to this? It doesn’t seem to fit his MO at all.

LaSandy..JM was not on the radar then. They only had his DNA linking him to the assault on another woman in NOVA. She is the one that provided the info for the composite sketch. Then they found the same DNA link to Morgan, but still had no idea who it belonged to. Unfortunately it took Hannah to go missing to connect the dots. However, now wondering why no DNA was taken at Liberty and CNU when he assaulted those girls…

We all “know” Heather is no longer alive. The police would like to hope there is another person involved who may be holding her hostage, but given the pattern, it’s highly unlikely. What I don’t believe is that Jessie assaulted/raped/murdered a woman only in 2002, 2003, 2009, and 2014. That pattern does not ring realistic to me though the escalation in violence does.
There are undoubtedly more victims and I believe at least some of them are outside Virginia.

This could have potentially triggered another attach though I think that is overly simplistic. Plenty of serial predators harm others while in a relationship.
I do believe his aggressiveness comes in spurts leading up to a rising need within him to attack and harm. Note his aggression when he punched a man twice and took his phone in 2009, the same year Morgan was killed though we don’t know the month that assault took place.
Note also his aggressive behavior the night Hannah went missing, not just with the two ladies but also the man he put in a wrestling hold and pulled his ham string right there in the bar.
Patterns are emerging especially now that it’s been released there was another rape investigation at CNU.
I read somewhere that Jessie’s room mates state he did not come home that weekend. I don’t know the validity of that statement or even remember where the information came from. If true Hannah could be anywhere. I think Jessie was careless the night he took Hannah and I think he came to the same conclusion after he abducted and harmed her. He may have gone to greater lengths to hide her body.
As an aside, many violent offenders have partners in crime. Sad but true.

Thank you eRose for the possible victim listing/breakdown. I would not be surprised at all if he was responsible for many if not all of these crimes, as I never have nor never will believe he laid dormant for any length of time.
If he picked Morgan up in the taxi, I doubt he killed her in the taxi. And, I don’t believe she was killed on AF. So….WHERE is he taking his victims to do whatever evilness he does to them? Did he carry Morgan across that rough terrain himself? He may have, he seems like he would be physically able, although still difficult.
I agree that someone no doubt has knowledge of his bad deeds, and possibly helped him dispose of the victims. In my opinion, who would do that if not directly involved in the crimes themselves? A parent…..

It seems unfathomable that he has help but also unfathomable that he does not.
These crimes are heinous and it is unthinkable that someone not only knows, but assists. However I find it hard to believe that Morgan’s final resting place was the result of JM on his own, both intellectually and physically.

I’ve read a few articles from people who knew JM and the females said that he would thrown them over his shoulder, being ‘playful’. He did this in the bar the night he took Hannah. When committing crimes I picture him throwing these girls over his shoulder like rag dolls. He is a big man and when angry he is probably like the Incredible Hulk. Scary image.
Let’s also not forget he was a wrestler and knew submission holds and how to maneuver someone very well from a standing position and when on the ground- pinning them and ‘submitting’ them. Probably how he broke Morgan’s bones- or he was holding her in such a way they broke while she was struggling to get away. If you ever watch UFC or MMA many fighters break forearms, ankles and other bones during fights from defending wrestling moves or not tapping out.
Does Mathew have a half-brother?
Was any unknown dna in Morgan’s material
pointing to an accomplice?
He may have kept clothes, like Morgan, and

Rose- I am not so sure that LJ kept anything- I opine he may have had an accomplice and said accomplice was tasked with getting rid of the shirt but did not. I opine he DID keep it, or not realize it was somewhere where someone else located it and was sending him a message.

I have been looking around black cat rd. On Google earth. Either Google earth changed formats or its me, but I had a hard time navigating ,but it looked weird around 999 (I couldn’t find a 666)black cat. there are these hills ,that looked like they have graffiti scraped into them ,when I first saw them ,I gapsed ,because I thought. oh no, all the missing girls are stuffed in that hill, laughing at myself. There’s some confusion in reports as to whether the DNA evidence linking JLM was found at Morgan’s recovery site on Anchorage Farms or on her t-shirt which was recovered in Charlottesville.
Can you clarify?
I am actually unsure if I can do that publicly. What I can say is that JLM’s DNA is forensically linked to the homicide investigation of Morgan Harrington, and that of a 2005 Fairfax sexual assault- currently.

What did the 48 hours prior to Hannah’s abduction look like for Jesse Matthew? I ask because it may hold clues as to where she is now.

@susanm Black Cat Rd. is state route 616 so maybe that is where the number is coming from? It is a busy road because it is an intersection off of Interstate 64 (there are not too many highway intersections along this stretch—it is exit 129, the one before is 136, and the one after 124 and they go by mileage number so you can see the distance between). When you get off and go right, you go towards Keswick and there is a narrow, old bridge over the train track. It is not filled with potholes or in bad repair as a general rule—it is a highly traveled road. Although this is horse country, there are many houses along Black Cat of all types. If you go left when you get off the Interstate, you travel a short way, past many more houses, to the light at Route 250, the old main highway from Richmond to Charlottesville known as Richmond Rd. If you turn left onto 250, Boyd Tavern is not too far down on the left. It is a tiny old gas station with a market inside that has changed hands more times than I can count. If I recall correctly, there was an alleged Morgan sighting at Boyd Tavern when she first went missing. But these are not roads where someone would be likely to dispose of a body unless you had access to a house that was hidden off the road. Like all country roads, Black Cat gets quieter at night but always has some level of traffic. There are way safer places to take a body with less chance of getting caught but you never know what he was thinking at the time so anywhere he knows should be examined.
Because I think the murder(s) take place very close to where the body was/will be found, I am guessing it will (again?) be a place where high school kids go to party/make out/whatever. I believe Blandemar was known for that at one point in time but that is local gossip-based info, not confirmed by anyone official. I envision these crimes occurring outside of his car after his victims resist and are then debilitated. I do not see transporting a body over hilly terrain being a problem for him if the distance was less than a mile. As long as he knows the nooks and crannies of where he is going, there are probably hundreds of potential locations for him to utilize that do not lend themselves to easy discovery. We just have too much wooded area, too many streams, etc. If access to the back of our property were easy, there could be something in our creek bed and I would never know it because I don’t go into the woods there. Sad to say, the only clue would be birds. But for many properties, the back side can be accessed and the property owner would never know it–that is the case with Anchorage Farm and many other large tracts of land around here.

I sure hope that they have checked this cemeter at Boyd Tavern. Is this the cemetery or are there others. Hope the link works.

Summary Statement
Boyd Tavern played a significant role in the development of eastern Albemarle County during
the late 18th and 19th centuries. Architectural evidence suggests that the current building was
constructed between 1825 and 1840 on the site of an earlier tavern. The earlier tavern was built
for Thomas Jefferson’s brother-in-law, Col. Charles L. Lewis, around 1750.14 The Tavern was
strategically located along Three Chopt Road, the primary road between Richmond and
Charlottesville. The Tavern was intended to serve as an additional source of income for Lewis.
This practice was relatively common among plantation owners in the area; Jefferson’s father and
younger brother both owned taverns as a side business.

Shepherds, owners of the property from the mid-1800s to 1937.
