Kyron Horman Missing Case: Terri Horman Breaks Her Silence In People Magazine Interview

New York, NY-  For nearly five and a half years Terri Horman has refused to speak publicly about her step-sons case.  Outside of one assertion of her innocence while on the stand in a name change hearing she ultimately was denied, Horman did not speak to any reporters or answer any of their questions regarding Kyron Hormans disappearance. Until Now.

Horman courtesy of People

Horman was interviewed by People Magazines Elaine Aradillas for both the print and online editions,  and will be doing a series of personal interviews over the next week, to include wwww.blinkoncrime.com.

In the brief online video excerpt , the second part to air on ABC’s Good Morning America Friday morning,  Horman  maintains she is deaf in her left ear, a critical factor in the outcome of her first polygraph.

“… At what point are Kyron’s biological parents going to realize I don’t have the answers, they need to change this thing around…”

“…There is so much the public is not being told about this investigation, that’s why I am doing this- nobody is looking for Kyron…”

Horman’s interview drew sharp reactions from Kaine Horman and Desiree Young, Kyron’s parents.

“…Why is she silent for 5 1/2 years if she is innocent.  I want her to tell me where Kyron is.  If she is innocent she should call Multnomah County Sheriffs Office and sit down for an interview…”-  Desiree Young

“Hi friends. Yes I am well aware of the tabloid journalism piece in the media today. FYI – there will be more of the same coming Friday
We have a HOST of MCSO and FBI investigators STILL standing by with interviews and polygraphs when someone actually wants to cooperate. FEEL FREE TO STOP BY THEY ARE WAITING!! STILL!! Until then we’ll stick with the scores of people with valid/accurate information and the failed polygraphs as the only actual actions taken to-date.  To all of you: how about not linking the article/interview?
REMEMBER KYRON?!?!? This is what we need to be focused on!!
Love you Kyron!!” – Kaine Horman post on his Facebook Page

Christina Stoy, www.blinkoncrime.com Editor In Chief was able to confirm with Ms. Horman directly that she has been willing to meet with Kyron’s investigators both previously and in the future with the sole provision that it be conducted in the presence of her Attorney,  Portland criminal defense lawyer Stephen Houze.

Horman went on to say that investigators with the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office have been well aware of “that” over the last five and a half years and they have never requested an interview.  Um, What?

Horman reveals some shocking details about the subsequent polygraphs examinations referenced by Kaine Horman and Desiree Young and other allegations of improper tactics on behalf of MCSO in the second half of her interview to air tomorrow morning on abc’s GMA and on Nightline.

Also revealing is Terri met Detective currently assigned to case. Must’ve been way back in June 2010. Had been with mcso only 18 months and had never worked on much less led a major case. idk why anyone thinjs “relentless, aggressive” is a qualification to be the sole fulltkme detective on this case, nor why a retired FBI agent whose experience is god knows what (True at True is an example of irrelevant FBI work history experience to this case) is an asset to apprehending K’s abductor.

Back to the Sheriff. If he is an autocrat (Elliott’s word) and rants and threatens termination to his Budget Officer for answering Commissioners’ legitimate questions, then obviously he is the person cho owns the Kyron investigation missteps, the coverup, the anability to cede the lead and collaborate with a capable LE agency, and also has the inability to work with and be honest with the citizens of Multnomah, and he is the one who has ordered tge veil of silence.

  10. Rose says:

@Blink. In my opinion Nigel did no work but he was emailed the pleadings by Riddell for piblicity purposes. Then he or a WW intern called the named people for comment having Riddell’s knowable and intended effect to inform them of the suit (and stir up hornets’ nests). That is likely hiw Staton learned of tge suit yesterday before being served (he knew no details per his memo to staff). I’m betting tgat’s the usual Riddell tactic with these depts he sues for LE employees. I also looked back and it seems Elliott is his go to man fir a quick quote whom he has turned to before. Imo he wrote the easiest of stories, unlike Pitkin.

    http://www.oregonlive.com/multnomahcounty/2016/02/multnomah_county_sheriff_stato.html
The meat isStaton did not want to hear, did not want her to discuss with her staff, and most of all did not
want her to discuss with Commissioners, her professional analysis of tge Budget: that the Dept could not absorb Troutdale without incurring a lot of overtime mcso dept-wide for deputy patrols in that area. From the first time she pointed out the impact of his decisions on the Budget in Oct 2013, beginning in Nov 2013 on he denigrated, ridiculed and ostracized her, finally replacing her with an unsworn finance man who clearly would not know the working needs of corrections like she did. Moreover he liked to Commissioners about his reason blaming her health untruthfully.
So much for his plan on e articukated to retire and run for the Gresham Commissioner seat.

Taking away Terri’s daughter was payback just for being female.
And DeDe: overweight, older, & alone.
Just hint they’re “in a relationship.”

What has happened is the Sheriff micromanaged his troops, hornswoggled DA employees with 2 easy targets,
just like he hornswoggled the Commissioners about his budget management to the extent of demoting dissent.

The O has been as competent to investigate the Sheriff’s budget and agency management as to investigate
the abduction investivatory failures. A little bit of fieldwork with a few questions might’ve helped the County before the 2014 election.

They reeled her in after her open commentary about DDS, subsequent admonishment and warning, and I dare say revelation MCDA and MCSO are NOT on the same page. They are lying to this woman, using her to deflect investigative status or both. I wonder when that run on the MCSO and MCDA is scheduled by the hater crater?

if this goes to trial, and it can’t possibly because defendants would lose,
the only question is how much the County will pay, one Kyron hope is Staton’s retirement will be part of the settlement.

Otherwise all the leadership of mcso will be deposed and they must all spell the beans to this marine or face perjury.
unless all the mcso execs take the 5th.

New GJ. How else could he justify it? I just re-read the notice. I predict a few more amendments and Riddle knows exactly what he is doing. He included a verifiable witness chain for some allegations and enough “victims” so no way in the world anyone can close ranks and if there are any thin-skinned county attorneys .. look out. Did some digging and Yankee has a pretty strong record of an open door policy with IAU. Staton looks like he feared that if the allegations are true. Very intrigued by Jaquiss mentioning Horman and he broke this. Let me know when Iboshi or Bernstein enter the ring.

Staton, first appointed in November 2009, has had an uneven tenure. He returned stability to the office after the forced resignations of his two predecessors, Bernie Giusto and Bob Skipper. But his agency led the unsuccessful investigation into the June 2010 disappearance of Kyron Horman, then a 7-year-old student at Skyline Elementary in unincorporated Northwest Portland.

  29. Rose says:

Since Sheriff Dept IT has pulled the entire site, my bet is
they are updating that spiffy organizational chart that I referred to this year.
Which suggests Staton had told Commissioners and others she was out
on medical leave, not that he demoted her and hired an unsworn person
to be their new Budget reporter. Imo she still showed in the Budget job on
the website. He’s probably going to defend she was insubordinate and
he is immune. needs to be filed in Federal Court.

Aren’t IT sources being recently touted as “new resources” within MCSO? While its Dep head is on med leave? Or do they report directly to Staton now?
Oh Snappy Snap Snap. If I wanted DOJ on someone’s arse… jus sayin’. Then there is Leonetti suit announcement. I can only think of one more embarrassing budgetary moneypit- the face of which has just started speaking out.

My last memiry of Carlis was as County defense in the Cogen – Minhas mess. Iirc that ended with 2 resignations. Of course Cogen had the illegal drugs held over him as leverage. I guess Riddell can include questions about steroid use in his depos. She probably knows some users.

If I were the 4th Estate or Carlos) I’d stay on management point, not titillating tripe. And that is, I’d ask each Commissioner — in person — a key question: When did Staton tell you he had demoted and replaced Yankee and why? My bet is he informed none of them and planned to come up with the “too much medical leave” story in March.
Hope Riddell got a screen shot of that Org Chart on 1/31/16.

  33. Rose says:

You think Staton is going thru her last 3 years of office files with the shredder working overtime? And I suppose he can order her hard drive be wiped.

The FBI needs to go in and seize her files and computer now, and his. Except Beitzing is distracted and he doesn’t seem a multitasker.

Only thing that woukd work us if Nigel calls up Billy Williams and asks who is securing her and Staton’s files and hard drive, using the website going into a black hole as evidence Staton is altering evidence in a possibke Federal case using mcso’s IT resources. But tgat would take investigative reporting.
