 Discovery Review Part I

Orlando, FL– In the last 2 weeks in the case against infamous tot-mom Casey Anthony, The defense appears to be in an all out media blitz to support their recent motions for dismissal. Most legal analysts feel they have  missed the deadline for such tactics, and that could very well be the reason for the affront on public opinion recently.

The blinkoncrime.com editors have been scouring the recent discovery release. 

There are some very compelling facts the Spin Twins de Baez have conveniently overlooked.

The Duct Tape

Reported exclusively  at blinkoncrime.com last June, the Henkel Duck tape industrial grade was located on the skull of Caylee Marie, the  gas can and the shed at the Anthony residence. Today, WFTV after rifiling through some old footage, reminds us what we already knew.

(Editors note: Say what you will about Kathy Belich, that Dom Casey cheat sheet with her picture and “disseminating hatred towards the family” remark had her in that news room with a whip and a hot iron all day until they found it– I don’t blame her.)

Yesterday at Brad Conway’s client driven press conference, he specifically referenced there are no fingerprints on the duct tape. I heard it again this morning by Linda Kenney Baden.

Let’s break this down folks, shall we?

On NO document, that we have seen, does it state anywhere that there are no prints on that duct tape. Specifically, I am referring to FBI Evidence ID Q62, Q63 and Q64.

In fairness to the defense, with a combined experience mean of 2o years in the “expert” fields, less Jose “josebgood@yahoo.com” Baezs’ token 3 years, I can see how such academics could come to that conclusion for the time being.

Within the response to Kenney Baden’s discovery request from the FBI, this statement appears:

THE FBI DID NOT RECEIVE LATENT LIFTS IN THIS CASE

It does not say “latent impressions”, which in the forensic “speak” means all friction ridge detail images.

Seriously? With a woman’s very life hanging in the balance we are expected to believe such a panel does not know the difference between a latent lift and a friction ridge image in 2009? Not to be glib, but as a practical matter, as a layperson, just imagine when your scotch tape slips off the cutter and you stand there for 10 minutes trying to thread it again with your fingernail. If that did not immediately furrow your brow, you will be wrapping all the christmas presents this year.

 These assertions by the defense team are nothing more than an attempt to double dare the State to open their Kimono. Insert euphamisms at will. 

As a matter of fact, a close look at the examination protocol used by the FBI,  tells a very, very different story. 

Tape Q62, Q63, Q64 is originally presented  NOT to be tested for DNA. Who gets it first? Latent Print U and Chem. Why is this important? Because the two work together when we are talking about applying chemically based “lifting” techniques such as sticky powder, for example.

Breaking News

Orlando, FL– Judge Stan Strickland has denied the defense motion to delay the check fraud case and will be on the docket in the near future.

ALthough the defense argued that the trial should occur following the murder trial, they have lost their bid.  This is a MAJOR blow to the defense. 

If convicted, she walks into the murder trial next year a convicted felon. It is possible that under the “prior bad acts” rules within the Supreme Court of Florida, that information will likely be admissable to the jury.

One can assume that George and Cindy Anthony are none to pleased at this decision; it will undoubtedly insure their compliance in testifying in the civil case against their daughter, Casey, brought by Zenaida Gonzalez through her attorney John Morgan.

Indiana– Last Wednesday, attorney for Texas Equusearch, Mark Nejame, released a few aerial images that in their opinion prove that the area where 34 month old Caylee Marie Anthony was under water at the time of the last search.

Today, in newly released discovery by the State’s Attorney’s Office, we see the aerial imagery expert responsible for that footage makes the witness list for the prosecution.

Sean Henady, tapped personally by TES founder Tim Miller, spoke exclusively today to blinkoncrime. This will be his only statement regarding the Caylee Anthony case until it’s conclusion.

In August and again in November of 2008, my services were requested by Texas Equusearch for aerial mapping in their efforts to locate missing toddler Caylee Anthony. In November only, my participation expanded to asissting with coordination of the search effort on the ground. 

The complete case file, which includes information and Imagery from my office, has been provided to both the Orange County Sheriff’s Office and the defense counsel for Casey Marie Anthony as mandated by the discovery process. Every Image from my office was marked “Confidential Not For Public Distribution.”

Orlando, FL– While the countdown begins for upcoming motions in both the criminal and civil cases against notorious tot mom Casey Anthony for the murder of her daughter, Caylee, a blinkoncrime.com exclusive:

An Interactive Tour of the crime scene off Suburban Drive, the autopsy area and digital DNA lab, and the Anthony home where most believe is where 34 month old Caylee Marie Anthony sadly met her end.

Built by a colleague at my request, Angela Talamasca and her team have recreated an interactive simulation that undoubtedly will be used by both the State’s Attorneys and Jose Baez Defense Team.

It is designed to provide a virtual experience allowing the final “triers of fact” to literally transport themselves within the evidence and theories they will be presented to consider when determining the fate of the accused, Casey Anthony.  This proof of concept ”build” includes contribution and consult from leaders in the fields of: Forensics, CSI, Crime Scene Reconstruction and Medical Examiners Investigations.

Currently, we have closed the simulation “island” to the public while it continues development to reflect known evidence and elements of the case.

We got a glimpse of the 3D “view” released in the discovery of a flyover of the area where Caylee Anthony’s remains were found. In the second life version (think Wii sims for adults) site called Digital DNA, users will be able to “virtually” tour the scenes by walking through them and simultaneously interacting with the features that will hilight the components and evidence of the case.

Orlando, FL– In a bombshell released in discovery today, evidence George Anthony could not have been telling the truth about June 16^th.; allegedly the last time he saw Casey and Caylee leave:

According to the Investigative Report Excerpt regarding the Cell phone ping study, Casey did not leave the Anthony home until 4:14PM on June 16^th. Not the 12:50PM time he told Investigators and recounted in several media interviews. Most recently, George refused to discuss the last time he saw his granddaughter Caylee during the deposition in the civil case against his daughter, lodged by Zenaida Gonzalez.

Given the previously released computer forensics, whereby we know Casey was on the home computer on an IM chat in the morning this supports the fact she was in the home, and as the calls begin on Casey’s cell, she is leaving the residence.

SO.. Could it be George who never came home the evening of June 15^th? Did Casey leave her cell phone there the evening before and come back? Impossible. She was on it. 

Message to Leonard: This makes one more.. LOL.. Told You.

Orlando, Florida– Over 1500 pages of New Discovery have been released by the State’s Attorney’s Office in the Case against Casey Anthony for the murder of 34 month old Caylee Marie Anthony.

A source speaking on condition of anonymity to blinkoncrime.com, believes almost half of the information contained in the reports relates to Jesse Grund, Casey’s former fiancee’.

WFTV is reporting the Lee Anthony has been granted immunity prior to his deposition by the State’s Attorney’s office this morning. Blinkoncrime has not been able to corroborate this report at the time of this posting. Lee is also facing a motion to compel his testimony in the civil case against his sister, lodged by Zenaida Gonzalez through her attorney John Morgan.
