“Ryan Bickley, 15, said his father, Guy Bickley, found the body this morning when he was by the river fishing with his grandfather around 11 a.m.he teenager said the body was encased in a cement block and they could smell it. His father, he said, chipped a piece of cement away and saw skin and when he saw skin, he stopped and called police. The block was near the water”

I hope someone finds who did this to this baby and beats the s**t out of the SOB and the mother too! Sorry but that’s just how I feel!! I Am so pissed about this!!!!!

Blink, I don’t want to split hairs with you but I do not wish to extend prayers and condolences to most of her family and some of the friends her wretched mother subjected her too. This may not be the right forum or sentiment for this but I hope a few things.

1.If one of her mom’s SO friends is found guilty I want Mom to go to prison as well. She is evil for subjecting her precious baby to these snakes that walk among us.

    2. The SO’s that have been brought to light through this….Even if not guilty in this particular instance, I wish that their newfound celebrity in the community causes them to be punched in the mouth every time they leave home. I don’t care if they were not involved in this particular one. They have already proven which flag they intend to fly.

    3. I want her dad to be a man and stand up and apologize publicly to little Heaven (Yeah, I spelled it backwards) for not seeing her for two years and refusing to support his baby. Her short life may have had a few more toys in it had this prick stood erect and handled his business.

    4. I’d like to see this one, instead of the next, (there will be a next) be the catalyst to get some laws with teeth to remove these walking mushroom farms from the public’s presence. There is almost a 100% recidivism rate and that is not acceptable.

I feel for Mark Klaas, the Kesses, The Walshes and a plethora of others. But they were not complicit in the nightmare their children’s last minutes became. (With all respect to the Kesses. We are not aware of the fate of their precious baby)

    My dearest friend Red R-
You said what I was thinking, and I can add nothing, except my own broken heart over this baby, yet another.

  9. Brenda in Virginia says:

Nancy Grace is reporting the body was found about 11am this morning encased in concrete. Apparently, a teenager noticed concrete near the edge of the river and chipped away a piece revealing skin. The teen stated they “could smell it” and called 911.

Navaeh’s body HAD to have been placed in the river first and the bag or bags of ready-mix concrete powder poured overtop of the body to harden in the water. Yes…concrete WILL harden underwater…just slower and if not done properly be weak from not cure correctly. That’s why the teen easily chipped away a piece of this encasement.

Since concrete weighs 3,500 lbs. PER square yard wet…NO WAY anyone encased her and moved her later. Just one bag of this mix weighs about 75 lb, so adding the water and weight of a child, you’re looking at 150-200 pounds. Who’d carry that? Had to be done at the scene right at the water’s edge.

I am glad for only one thing….evidence will have been preserved because her body was protected moreso than if she’d been left in the water and simply weighted down.

Could mom of the year have known her pedophile lover bought concrete? Did he confess to her? Did LE already know he’d purchased this? Blink…give us a hint!

REad ? that two men fishing father and son this am in spot smelled something bad and picked at cement and saw flesh? Body was encased in some kind of cement? They called police.

  18. Brenda in Virginia says:

Blink…after thinking more about this (was pretty angry watching Nancy), I suppose if more than one person is involved…probably 2 could have moved the body if encased previously. Man, I cannot wait to see the perp or perps go down for this one. Why not in the same manner they killed Nevaeh? Still, it’s clear that the concrete didn’t cure well if 10 days in. If mixed outside the water…they used too much cuz properly cured concrete stays as hard as rock if put into the water later and it does not break down.

  19. nina says:

I had a feeling this little girl was not going to be found alive.God I don’t know whats wrong with people anymore..So many children being taken and killed..What is happening to this world..This has made me so angry and sad..Monsters are real and this is something our children need to be taught…They lurk all over this earth!

  20. Sara H. says:

No, no, no! I don’t know why, but I felt hopeful in this case, for some reason…maybe because little Briant & Julia were both recently recovered safely. The store clerk that claimed to have overheard a middle-aged woman w/ a little girl saying something about how her name spelled “Heaven,” backwards, led me to hope that just *maybe* someone had taken her with the intent to raise her. Although still freaky, at least the recovery of a living, breathing Nevaeh would’ve been a possibility in that event. :(

  23. DebbieDeb says:

I just heard the body was encased in a cement block. A man and his son were fishing and smelled a horrible smell. The dad chipped part of the block and saw skin, then dialed 911.

What a sin. What a damn shame. That poor child. I can’t even imagine what she went thru and honestly, I don’t think I want to. I certainly hope she passed before she was encased in cement. Hopefully, with the body being somewhat preserved, hopefully all the evidence will be intact.

As far as her mother goes, I hold her responsible. I have a child and wouldn’t even entertain the thought of allowing him to be outside alone in my MORE THAN SAFE neighborhood, let alone in a 2bit apartment complex in which they lived! The mother was a sex offender MAGNET for Pete’s sake! She DATED one! (shakes head in disbelief) Well you know what they say … if sense was common, everyone would have it. >:(

    Blink-
I remember about 10 years ago when studies were being done on the actual cost of incarcerating a prisoner. It ended up being some ridiculous amount like $100.00 a day. At the same time one of the middle eastern countries offered to take our prisoners for about one tenth that amount.

I said it then and I say it now. Put these A-holes in prisons in some foreign country (middle of the desert) and I’ll bet they’ll think twice about committing crimes against children. Let them rot in HE!!

I hate these freakzoids in a way I cannot explain. A crime against a child, in my core, is like noneother.

  30. Annals says:

Brenda; It’s been done. Approx 8 yrs ago there was a case in CT where a murdered woman was encased in cement and dumped in a wetland. Case was handled by Dr Henry Lee who had a devil of a time unencasing the body, so to speak. Took days, as I remember.

The guy strangled his ex-gf in a fit of rage when they were in a car together. He enlisted the help of a buddy and they put her in a large garbage can and then added the cement. The wetland is in back of the house where the killer lived with his parents. I lived near the house. The wetlands isn’t just outside the back door of the house, though. It’s like, 100yds of backyard lawn then another 50-100yds of fringe wooded area then the wetland. They dragged or wheelbarrowed the can back into the wetland. A car wouldn’t have been able to go into the woods there.

Your theory of cement dumped ontop of the precious little girl may be correct. The cement tactic is unwieldy in any case.

Guy had to borrow a different friend’s pickup truck to buy the supplies. Caught on tape at the local Home Depot with all those bags of Redi-crete, though that’s not how the missing person’s case was cracked by LE. Lots of evidence, the case never went to trial.

How can you stand by as horrible things like this happen. Don’t get me started on the fricken system. Why in the hell do we protect these pervs and allow them to get out in the first place. If they do it once they do it twice. I say we start going to our Senators and letting them know if they don’t make this matter priority, they don’t get re-elected. I hope they find this guy and when they do I hope the public tortures his ass before he can get a fricken trial. FRICKEN EVIL DEMON BASTARD!!

  33. Deb says:

I’m just sick about the guy on the panel on the Nancy Grace show. He stated it cost to much money to put ankle bracelettes on the sex offenders, but how much does it cost to search for these lil children and how much does it cost for thier little funerals. It’s sick to think we support these sex offenders in jails(when they actually have to spend time there). They actually have more rights then we do. Why not tattoo thier foreheads and put them on the front lines in Iraq with no fire power? That’s the justice they deserve. They obviously mistake the courts generosity for a sign of weakness when they are allowed to be freed after sex offender crime after crime. There is NO Cure for a Sex Offender! After all “who else can these little children depend on besides us to watch over them? And her mama deserves the same treatment! Signed a mama and a grandma in Oklahoma.

  38. caligram says:

This is a tragedy that was enabled by a judicial system that focuses more on the “rights” of the defendant than the “rights” of victims. If a defendant commits a “wrong” and deliberately takes the life of a child, then the defendant’s “rights” should be altered/forfeited. The defendant deprived the child of life, therefore the punishment should be immediate. Long, costly drawn-out trials in such cases should be abolished, and court-appointed attorneys should replace the high-priced legal defense teams that choose to aid criminals and thereby punish victims. Child advocates would be the voices of the victims. It is time to get tough on crime. It is time to protect our children.

    Absolutely

  39. CL says:

This is a horrible tragedy. While she was missing it was complete hell for the family (well the grandma & REAL father at least). I went and volunteered to search for her, and it was heart-breaking that she was never found. Now that she is, I know that she’s safe and happy in heaven above. Now I know the person who did this will rot in hell. I wish that we had the death penalty. Even so, he won’t last long in prison…

  42. Brenda in Virginia says:

Before reading all the posts, I see NG’s breaking news wasn’t so accurate. Watching last 15 mins, she was indicating body was IN the water. According to the posters…seems we have alot to find out, so off I go to read each post and link. Regardless of what the facts are, fact IS this child never had a chance to live and someone needs to die for it.

  43. concerned says:

This is absolutely horrifying. My prayers go out to the Grandmother. There is no more that can be done for Nevaeh, my concern now lies with the playmates. The playmates claimed that “Daddy George” lured Nevaeh into the woods. Why would they refer to him that way? Is it possible that Kennedy served as a “father figure” to these children as well?

  44. choochoomama says:

I could hardly sleep last night. This has just gripped our town so much. My mom went to a store last night when the news started spreading and the cashier and everyone in line was crying. There was outrage at Jennifer before…I can only imagine what is going to happen next.

I think I may have mentioned before that a Monroe cop told a girl I know that the note that was found in Kennedy’s motel room indicated that Jennifer was selling her daughter for drugs. Even if that’s not proven, couldn’t she get arrested for child endangerment or neglect or something for not watching her for a long time, resulting in her kidnapping and death?

    Yes.
Just based on known evidence, there is a strong case for child endangerment. Personally, I believe Nevaeh may have been abused on an ongoing basis. The pic of her in the dark sweatshirt haunts me, I cannot look at it; I see a baby that is asking WHY?
I believe this woman will face charges in this case, and frankly, jail is probably the safest place for her and I mean that sincerely.

Now, I would like someone local to do something for me. I want someone to find out who owns the Motel 7 and if it is contracted with the county or subsidized in some sort of “probationary or parole” program. Report Back here.

Then, I want the name of the individual who “overruled” Kennedy’s parole officer who recommended his parole be revoked 3x and in my opinion, F I R E D for the mistake that may have cost this child her life. After a thorough investigation of course because Lord knows who else they are allowing to walk around.

  45. dddeerma says:

The comment about this child’s MOTY’s dream really set my antennae quivering. Maybe a preemptive strike for mom, who knows what happened and where her baby was? And SO George was out fishing when the child went missing? Shades of Scott Peterson. Has his new girlfriend been grilled and lie detectored? Everybody deserves a fair trial, but what happens after the conviction of a sex offender/child murderer needs to be changed. The climate is ripe for change in so many ways. Maybe now our voices will finally be heard.

  46. Jane Harbor says:

    Blink,
Does this method of body disposal (sorry, Little Neveah, I know you were more than that) sort of smack of an organized offender? Perhaps somebody who has done with this other victims? Shows some advance planning, prior experience, or a cool head after something went “wrong”. ? The little Pedogang at that motel better be clenching their BVD’s.
    NOT organized.
    B

  47. Brenda in Virginia says:

Dear Deb, I only caught last 15 mins of NG and glad I didn’t hear the guy say that about the ankle bracelets costing too much, but I have alot of extra rope…and I’d gladly donate all of it cuz then it wouldn’t cost a dime to tie it around their necks from the highest tree IMO.

Society has chosen its path because freedom now mean anything you want to do is OK. Sadly, the innocent are paying the ultimate price. What happened right under our noses and how did so many miss it?

  48. FairestWitness says:

Blink, the video report linked in post #38 has a reporter stating that George Kennedy worked with cement, knew the area like the back of his hand and used the alibi that he was fishing when Jennifer Buchanan called him. How much more evidence is needed to convict this man?

It’s hard to believe Jennifer defended him, isn’t it? My God, Nevaeh’s mother is one worthless piece of shit. How could this woman have so little regard for her own child?

Her father, Shane Hinojosa, is another worthless parent. He hadn’t seen his daughter in 2 years???? Why???? He hadn’t paid child support either. Why???? Now he’s outraged at Jennifer’s friends???? Oh, puh-leeeeze!

Why didn’t Nevaeh have her father’s last name? Was he never involved in this child’s life, even when she came into this world? It sure is strange that his daughter’s last name was her mother’s maiden(?) name.

Nevaeh never had a chance in life, not with the assholes she had for parents. How did this country descend into such depravity and irresponsibility?

  49. Fed up says:

Blink is 100% correct. There is no way to reform sex offenders. We need stronger laws and, in my opinion, the death penalty for those convicted more than once. I personally would like it to be after the first conviction, but the reality is, that is not a law that would get on the books. Once convicted of a sexual assault of any kind, S0s should be micro chipped with a tracking device in their skulls. I am beyond fed up and angry about our totally weak and inept judicial systems ability to effectively deal with these psychos.
