Caylee/Casey Anthony Case Bombshell: Proof George Anthony Lied

Orlando, FL– In a bombshell released in discovery today, evidence George Anthony could not have been telling the truth about June 16th.; allegedly the last time he saw Casey and Caylee leave:

CellJune16sm

According to the Investigative Report Excerpt regarding the Cell phone ping study, Casey did not leave the Anthony home until 4:14PM on June 16th. Not the 12:50PM time he told Investigators and recounted in several media interviews. Most recently, George refused to discuss the last time he saw his granddaughter Caylee during the deposition in the civil case against his daughter, lodged by Zenaida Gonzalez.

Given the previously released computer forensics, whereby we know Casey was on the home computer on an IM chat in the morning this supports the fact she was in the home, and as the calls begin on Casey’s cell, she is leaving the residence.

SO.. Could it be George who never came home the evening of June 15th? Did Casey leave her cell phone there the evening before and come back? Impossible. She was on it.

Message to Leonard: This makes one more.. LOL.. Told You.

The “Mommy, Mommy, Mommy” call KioMarie Cruz first thought had been from Casey Anthony asking to borrow money was later determined by KioMarie to have been from a woman named Casey Williams whose daughter, Abby, was six or seven at the time of that phone call. When KioMarie first mentioned that call to OCSO, she said the number that came up was not Casey Anthony’s number (which had been programmed into KioMarie’s phone in April). When KioMarie talked to OCSO later to explain the error, she provided the number Casey Williams used to OCSO. So that July 9 phone call is not an incident after June 16 whereby someone claimed to hear Caylee Anthony on the phone.

As you noted, Jesse backed away from his original claim to have heard Caylee in the background on June 24. His amended statement is that he heard Casey tell Caylee to get off the table, but he could not be sure he heard Caylee at all. IMO, that does not count as an incident after June 16 whereby someone claimed to hear Caylee on the phone.

Shirley Plesea would not make any claims to have heard Caylee’s voice on the two strange calls she received. Shirley did say the voice on the line was speaking jibberish whereas Caylee was speaking in complete sentences.

Lee tried to track Casey down on July 3, not July 8.

The laptop belonged to Cindy. Either Cindy believed Casey took it with her on June 16 and/or Casey confirmed that she had it, so there would be no reason to report it stolen.

George filed a burglary report with LE because the shed lock had been broken. George wrote on the report that the break-in had to have occurred between 6:00pm on Sunday, June 22 and 9:30am on Tuesday, June 23. Casey claimed she had been in Tampa during that period of time, so George filed a burglary report.

Maura, thank you for explaining that Jesus was a classmate of Casey’s. I doubt seriously Casey knows who the father really is.
She and Cindy would have nailed him for child support if Casey knew who the father was. I know a guy who attended UGA, graduated and went back to Washington State. When a girl he had slept with while a student went on public assistance 3 years later, he found out he was the father of a 3 y/o thru DNA testing. Never has seen the child but pays support. He’s having to fight through court to get to see the child.

The computer info I cannot find is the information from the two Anthony computers you and JWG keep talking about. I cant find it.

  5. Jan says:

Came across the following today in M. Scott Peck’s People of the Lie. It’s obviously reminiscent of Casey, but in my opinion, it shouts CINDY as well. During the time between July 15 and December 11, I was amazed and infuriated by Cindy’s lack of public acknowledgment or obvious curiosity about how Caylee might be faring. Cindy talked on and on about herself during every media appearance, but she never once expressed concern for how CAYLEE might be feeling, nor did she break down like most members of a missing child’s family, and plead with the “kidnappers” for Caylee’s safe return.

I also think the beginning of the third paragraph, below, goes a long way toward explaining Cindy’s jaw-dropping, abominable behavior in trying to cast suspicion on others for Caylee’s disappearance.

“We all of us tend to be more or less self-centered in our dealings with others. We usually view any given situation first and foremost from the standpoint of how it affects us personally, and only as an afterthought do we bother to consider how the same situation might affect someone else involved. Nonetheless, particularly if we care for the other person, we usually can and eventually do think about his or her viewpoint, which may well be different from ours.

Not so those who are evil. Theirs is a brand of narcissism so total that they seem to lack, in whole or in part, this capacity for empathy …”.

“We can see, then, that their narcissism makes the evil dangerous not only because it motivates them to scapegoat others but also because it deprives them of the restraint that results from empathy and respect for others. In addition to the fact that the evil need victims to sacrifice to their narcissism, their narcissism permits them to ignore the humanity of their victims as well. As it gives them the motive for murder, so it also renders them insensitive to the act of killing. The blindness of the narcissist to others can extend even beyond a lack of empathy; narcissists may not “see” others at all.” (pages 136 – 137)

I did research—but,I will need help on “cashe dates”. Not quite getting the full perception. I am very curious.

What I have explored and my inquires lead me….. to “two” different incidences of researching ZG.

#1. On June 12, there is a search for “Zenaida Gonzales” and a “Zenaida Fernandus Gonzales”.

#2. On July 16, there is a search for “Zenaida” and a “Zenaida Fernandus Gonzales.”

Both on on the Anthony home computer.

Please excuse my spelling mistakes on names.

  8. Randie says:

    Blink:

On March 21, 2008, on the Anthony home computer there are several “searches” we all hear about (neck breaking, shovel and how to make chloraform). But, I also see that in the middle of these searches is the words “self defense”. (Media has never shared that—as far as I know).

During these searches someone goes to page 79 of the online book called “Self Defense for Women”. I am curious because page 79 begins a chapter on “Personal and Household Articles as Weapons”.

Was it a strategy just to find a way to make household weapons.

Or….. had Casey been thinking there was a “reason” to protect herself in her own home?

May we have your input on this?

Guys- I know this is not a popular opinion, but I believe that Casey and Ricardo were searching chloroform and asphyxiation techniques for sexual recreation, nothing more. I do not believe it holds the evidentiary weight so many seem to think it does. So does LE. Keep in mind, you are not seeing complete transcripts if the content is integral to the investigation under exclusionary rules to the sunshine law.

Blink, oh now I am confused. I thought you said a few weeks ago that you did NOT think Jesus Ortiz was the father. Also, that this pic was not him. So does anyone know who this is? This pic has been floating around a long time and is posted on a photobucket site – if anyone knows how to determine whose site this is and who is in the pic with Caylee, have at it, please! I’ve read through the “view source” and only can find “hidden” name etc.

    http://i162.photobucket.com/albums/t269/mommya_photos/Casey/thedaddy.jpg

No Angela, I have never said anything but I believe Jose Ortiz is the father. That pic has been discussed at length on here, it is Brandon Snow, who did not even know Casey then. I dont know why people are so hung up on how much a 34 month old child looks like a parent, lol. My son is definately mine, and all he has of mine are my earlobes. When he was a baby and his Dad would hold him, we would laugh and call him mini me. If we want to go that route, I have had collegeagues of mine review comparison photos, and they see Caylee forming a cleft in her chin. Highly hereditary is where I am going with that.

Noted that someone had stated if death was of strangulation, drowning, suffocation, etc. there would be no blood. This is not necessarily true. After a period of a few hours, as the body begins to decomp, there can be leakage of bloody fluids. Have seen such in natural death situation. As hot as it was at the time it is believed Caylee died decomp would begin fairly quickly, so it is possible blood might have been present. I would guess the garbage bags prevented leakage of bloody fluids.

The problem with this, or any assumption that we can make, is that
it was a statement made by Casey, and so to try to arrive to any conclusions can be erroneous because most of what she was telling police were lies. Adding that she hadn’t seen the parents since she was 6 places enormous distance between herself and the other parties. Could it be true, it’s possible, but….

    Maura,

Even though Casey only started to do computer searches on Zenaida July 15th ( thanks for clarifying with cache dates, I get it), it is still possible that Casey had a fraudulent ID, that being one that was a Zenaida ID , or any other name, for that matter.

We can give her too much credit , at times. She clearly didn’t think things through
or else she would have found a better “dump” location , where Caylee wouldn’t be found & would remain a missing person. Initially, in statements from prior years , she called the nanny “Zany”. So ,on July 15th, she probably began searches to demonstrate that a person existed. However, she could have had a friend make up a fake ID prior, perhaps to get into bars before she was legal. We don’t know. Obviously, we have seen no evidence or proof that she did or didn’t.

Don’t the Anthonys have a cat or cats? I have a cat. While on the phone with a friend one day, my cat decided that I hadn’t paid attention to her for long enough and it was high time that she was fed. Long story short, she started crying. My friend assumed that there was a child in the room. Add to that, my cats are not permitted on top of tables. In a “neat as a pin” environment like the Anthony’s home, I’d wager that they wouldn’t want cats on their tables either. Could Casey have been telling a cat to get down? Maybe Jesse attributed a cat sound to a child’s voice.

    Possibly:

    http://www.livescience.com/animals/090713-cats-cry.html
…This meow is actually a purr mixed with a high-pitched cry. While people usually think of cat purring as a sign of happiness, some cats make this purr-cry sound when they want to be fed. The study showed that humans find these mixed calls annoying and difficult to ignore.

“Previous research has shown similarities between cat cries and human infant cries.
McComb suggests that the purr-cry may subtly take advantage of humans’ sensitivity to cries they associate with nurturing offspring.”……..

Randie, cache dates are the dates that the pages were created. In other words, if there was a fire last week in my town, and I wanted to look back and see what occurred, I would be researching today, the 17th, but the cache date of the article could be 8/14, for example

  12. suz says:

Marica, that whole no blood in the trunk must = a non bloody death is due to a recent report revealing there was no blood found in the trunk. We know some decomp fluid spilled in there (enough to make a big stain and a bigger stink), so the fact that there was no blood seems to point to a death that was not the result of bleeding out in some way.

As I’ve mentioned before, when new discovery is released, I save it to my computer so that I don’t have to go looking for it later on. But when I download the .pdf files to my computer, I lose the URL to the website from which I downloaded the file. Nor can I provide the original labels for any .pdf files that I downloaded from media websites because when I download them, I change the file names to something that is meaningful to me.

About 8,000 documents have been released since last August, and documents related to the HP laptop and Compaq use are all over the place in bits and pieces. There is no single file containing all the computer forensics. Screenshots of MySpace pages were released in the first set of discovery last August. I don’t remember in which file the Encase data was released because I copied it from one of JWG’s WS comments and saved it in a separate file on my computer. Occasionally a batch of computer documents are collected in single .pdf files, such as a computer forensics report released in January, a large file of Casey’s icons and computer logs released in March, and Photobucket images and computer logs in April. IMs between Casey/Tony and Casey/Iassen are buried within the 15 sets of documents released in November.

So if you want to find the computer forensics, you’ll have to start from the beginning with the first set of discovery released last August, and go through each batch of released discovery to find the documents related to the HP and Compaq usage.

Personally I think the first search that was done for ZG is only a few days after ZG office was broken into. Whether Casey is the one that done the break in or not, she had knowledge of it which could have prompted the searches. Then the latest search was done by either Spindy or Lee because Crazy had already told them who had snatched Caylee.

Some people make a living off of identity theft…..and at the beginning of all this we heard about a credit card that Crazy had charged the Puerto Rico flight tickets to that supposedly belonged to a Amanda or Angela Williams……….nothing else said about that so I have to think that Crazy wasn’t only living off of Spindy and Georgetta but anyone that she could steal the identity of. ZG just happened to be the last one that she had researched and knew a little bit about. I believe Crazy was just going to steal her identity (being that she is hispanic and alot of hispanics are here illegally) she thought she would be a good one to tie to a kidnapping. JMOO

  16. Kleat says:

How hard would it be for someone in a rage (the glimpse of which we saw in Casey’s jailhouse visitation near the end (pointed out and discussed by Silverspnr), to overtake and kill a 34 month old baby? What would be hard, is for someone who cares, to do this and that’s what makes this unimaginable– but Casey cares only about Casey, she knows right from wrong, knows that what she does ‘hurts’ people, but she does it, doesn’t learn, and escalates her actions. She could have killed the baby when she was an infant, just by innocently ‘rolling over’ on her while sleeping– no one would have been the wiser. But the infant was an attention getter for Casey, she was the center of the world with Caylee in her arms. But Caylee grew, ‘almost as big as I am’ Casey said and wrote. Ultimate act of selfishness– she did not want Caylee except for the attention it brought to her, and she did not want her mother to have her, Casey had to be the center, not Caylee.

Remember Cindy said (according to Lee to LE) as she came into Casey’s room the evening of the 15th, ‘WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!!!’ When asking ‘HOW’, it’s obviously not because it was a difficult physical thing for an adult to overtake a toddler.

#830 maura. The question for me is this? Why has LE done an investigation into who caylee’s father is? Why have they asked so many people, cindy, lee, annie and why then did this question come up yet again in the m&m depos, Lee and Annie specifically? LE and JM were already of a mindset that caylee was never kidnapped so why is this question coming up in a middle of a murder investigation? Caylee (god bless her) and jesus (god bless him) are gone. Why is caylee’s parentage part of the investigation? And what is baez/strategy going to be on this issue? BTW I have driven myself just NUTS trying to find info about something stated in the jesus ortiz car crash article. It mentions charges may be filed? Against who? 19. Kleat says:

boo, if there is a father out there in a child missing/abducted/murdered scenario, then identifying the father is important to exclude or include him as involved in any way. Even if the investigation points only to one other person, they must do a thorough investigation as surely the defense would use the fact of some ‘father’ out there as a possible person being involved as well as, or other than, their client.

As for the Mn’M deposition, they want to know about the father because that is a possible person of interest in the disappearance, vs their client who never even met the child nor her mother. As for Lee, remember Lee’s early media interview– he said clearly that he knows who the father is and will never give up that information as it is not fair to the family. Annie is a close friend (‘is’– or she would not have spent two visits, one overnight with Casey after Caylee went missing) of Casey’s and likely if any friend were to know the real story, it would be her– that’s why she is asked. As well, Annie might have a very good idea of who Casey was seeing at the time, even if a one night thing, she might know for some reason to narrow down the father possiblities.

Fact, the child was murdered, and fact, we have no identification of a father that is conclusive. That can be used as ‘reasonable doubt’ in a defense strategy. That’s why it is important.

  20. westsidehudson says:

    # 867 boo

    {quote}Why has LE done an investigation into who caylee’s father is?{unquote}

Because if there was an actual kidnapping, LE has to eliminate all of those people closest to Caylee, who would have an interest in her. They wanted to determine if the father might have absconded with her. They wanted to see what kind of associations the father might have had, etc.
Plus, after rumors swirled, they wanted to eliminate any untoward behavior within the family as motive for the disappearance or death.

  23. Todd in Tulsa says:

I seriously hope the prosecution isn’t going to allow the defense to go down the “well, the unnamed father did it now”. First it was the nanny at the apartment, then at the park, now since those two have been disproven, it’s time to go down the biological father did it road. Why is this absurdity being allowed to take place?

  24. Maura says:

    Boo

Kleat and WSH already answered your question about LE’s investigation into Caylee’s paternity.

The prosecution bears 100% of the burden of proof in convincing a jury that Casey Anthony is guilty of the charges filed against her. The prosecution will present evidence supporting those charges against Casey, but they also have to rule out the alternative explanations that the defense will use.

LE knew very early on that Casey had provided them with a string of lies, and they knew it was highly likely that Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez was a phantom.

There was no evidence to support the existence of this phantom babysitter. No record of phone calls, text messages, IMs, or emails. Casey told some people that Zanny the Nanny was independently wealthy and supervised Caylee for the sheer joy of childcare; to others, Casey claimed she paid the nanny $400 per week. But LE knew Casey had not been employed since April 2006, so Casey had no need for a babysitter beyond her parents and the friends who watched Caylee at different times (The Grunds, Lauren Gibbs, etc.).

News reports of Caylee’s disappearance and Casey’s arrest were local on July 16, national by July 17, and global by July 18. On July 21, a local businessman put up $125,000 reward for safe return of Caylee Anthony. On July 23, the reward was raised to $200,000. On July 24, the reward was raised to $225,000.

Despite the heavy, national coverage of this story and the exceptionally high reward for information leading to the return of Caylee Anthony, no one came forward who had ever met Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez. Despite Casey’s fairly detailed description of Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez and her family (mother Gloria Gonzalez, step-father Victor Fernandez, sister Samantha), not a single person had been known to contact OCSO, the FBI, or Baez claiming to know of this woman or her family. No former or present friends, no former classmates, no former or present neighbors, no teachers, no doctors, no dentists, no pastors, no first cousins, no second cousins.

Nevertheless, LE could not allow Baez to complain to the jury that LE didn’t bother looking for Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez, so an OCSO missing persons investigator was assigned to search in NY, FL, and NC for a female named Zenaida Fernandez and/or Gonzalez who had the personal description, background, and family relationships Casey provided to LE.

I would not assume anyone at Sawgrass was “allowed” to alter the guest card. Yuri Melich visited on the morning of July 16 and made a photocopy of the guest card for Zenaida Gonzalez. The name on the guest card at the time was C Zenaida Gonzale.

On August 6, Yuri Melich sent another detective to Sawgrass to obtain the original guest card and a formal statement from Harry Garcia.

I am assuming – and it’s just an assumption – that the name on the guest card was changed from Gonzale to Gonzalez between July 16 (when Melich had the card photocopied) and August 6 (when the original was taken into evidence).

There is nothing in the discovery to indicate when the last name on that guest card was altered or by whom.

As a legal matter, it makes a big difference (Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez versus C Zenaida Gonzale versus Zenaida Gonzalez are legally three different names).

If it didn’t matter, then in the first defamation suit, filed on September 24, 2008, Morgan & Morgan would not have claimed their client was the Plaintiff Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez (in order to match the name Casey gave to the 911 dispatcher). They had to know the plaintiff’s name was not Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez but just Zenaida Gonzalez. The plaintiff herself, six weeks before the defamation suit was filed, told Local 6 News that her name was not Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez, but just Zenaida Gonzalez. When she was interviewed by Sean Krause, he asked her why the name Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez was on the lawsuit since that was not her name, and she said her lawyers did that.

In the amended defamation suit (dated April 29, 2009), Morgan & Morgan changed the plaintiff’s name from Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez to just Zenaida Gonzalez (her real name). In that same amended lawsuit, Morgan & Morgan claimed Casey gave the name Zenaida Gonzalez to authorities. In that amended lawsuit, the name Fernandez is not mentioned a single time.

My point – if the name differences did not legally matter with regard to the defamation lawsuit, then Morgan & Morgan would have accurately stated in both the initial lawsuit in September and the amended lawsuit in April that the plaintiff’s name is Zenaida Gonzalez and that the name of the kidnapping babysitter that Casey Anthony provided to authorities is Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez.

#893 randie. I don’t believe my post states this woman is jesus ortiz mother. My POINT is the name zaneida + the name ortiz+ the state NY+the date of the comment 5/7/2007. Casey was trolling and lee and annie are Hiding.

boo I think I’m a little slow today but I’m not able to follow how your search of zenaida+ortiz+ny means that Casey performed this same search? I looked at the link you provided but I can’t figure out how it ties to Lee or Annie hiding Caylee’s parentage.

Can you help explain what you’re getting at? Sorry if this is annoying but I really want to know. Thanks, lily
