Thanks Kleat, found it. Do you think he’s related to the super intellegent (her words, not mine) Ms. Andrea Lyons. It sounds like he did all the prep work.

“And in the end, it was this woman, who was the one who won it for her– she entered the jury room, took out her knitting, and said to her fellow-jurors, I’m going to vote not guilty, you all can let me know when you decide to join me.”

May I recommend a movie I love very much? It’s old and just black-and-white, and it’s called “Murder most foul”, and it may tell you that, shame on me, I share at least one interest with Ms Lyon. When I watched that movie, I was delighted with a knitting woman juror who obstinately voted not guilty.

What a despicable, disgusting liar this woman is!

Frankly, I’ve been anti-death penalty for a long time. not because I pity the perpetrators, but because I think a civilized society should not stoop to their level; but Ms Lyon is able to make me rethink my position.

This is my third post on the case, and please forgive me for not praising this board more; you are all wonderful, but I think with so many postings, bandwidth and space should be spared for information. At least I hope that whoever posts brilliant things here, does it to do the right thing, and not to be praised for it.

Welcome and thank you. Wanna know what I think? I think she made sure this was released.

It’s time to shut it down and enforce the gag rule. We are all being played, even here at Blink on Crime. I haven’t seen the defense posters lately but they’ll be back. Doesn’t anyone in all these people care anything about Caylee?

    I care! does that count?

Sadly, I am on the same boat….this has to come to a reasonable end to keep us from going off the deep end, if this case turns and Casey walks, the world as we know it will cease!

Been scoping out a little more on Andrea Lyon while listening to her speech on WFTV. Found this article http://www.andrealyon.com/linked/adlchicagolawyer.pdf which is insightful. Not trying to take shots, but it also claims she works out 3 times a week????? Her husband is Dr. Arnold Glass, who surprise!, is in the Psychology department at DePaul University as well.

  11. Kleat says:

Blink, I was thinking the SAME– no question she was in Orlando, if she wanted to hide it, she wouldn’t have timed her talk in Orlando when she was about to take THIS particular high profile case.

    Intimidation.

Mrs. Lyon is a HYPOCRITE– and this isn’t a pun. She is with a Catholic University, and if she is also Catholic, she should not take God’s name in vane– quoting her: ‘…God…Dammed’.

“I had this very strange case where…my client killed his mother, father and aunt, and near killed his sister in law, who survived to be on the Oprah Show, as if I didn’t have enough God Damned problems… [snickering from the lawyer audience] …and ahh…. anyway…

And… worse… she doesn’t want someone to stereotype race, esp. black males, but it’s just fine, to stereotype women who are ‘strong’ and prosecutors, by making degrading comments, of which we are of course, all aware.

  12. Kleat says:

Any ideas how Ms. Lyon would square the ‘victim’s advocate’ position, with the immediate family of the victim, in this case, grandparents as almost parents including the primary caregivers of the child, and the grandfather who was also the child’s male adult in her life?

Are the Anthony’s also ‘bitches’ to her if Cindy wants to draw the line with something or some approach, not that she’s likely to stand up for Caylee if Casey’s interests must to come first.

Will George ever cross the floor on some issues, where his beloved granddaughter might be marginalized as the victim?

  13. Kleat says:

Victims are spoken about by Ms. Lyon with a certain amount of distain, as if they have less rights to not be killed, if they were not killed, the poor perp wouldn’t be in the position that she/he is in. (how she speaks of the aunt that survived– caused her God Damned problems telling her story to Oprah– but it’s just fine for the Anthony’s to go and tell their sob story to 48 HRS.

  14. Kleat says:

    Questionmark– http://www.tcm.com/mediaroom/index.jsp?cid=60960

“Madam, either you will have to cease knitting, or I will have to cease judging.”

Interesting the connection of ‘Kook’ in bright purple slip, to the Baker Acted Joy Wray in her own gift from the defense. Why is Lyon making use of a second such ‘kook’– perhaps something notorious, this person will never stand up under cross as she was unnerved (so she said) by simple questions by John Allen.

  15. Kleat says:

No doubt, Ms. Lyon will be making visitations to Shirley Plesea to guide her, soften her view of Casey, make sure this testimony she might give, is more sympathetic towards Casey. Can she talk to victim’s family if they are to be called as witnesses, such as Mrs. Plesea who was herself, a victim of Casey with stolen money? Would be helpful to minimize the effect of this, or have her memory fail, wouldn’t it.

“She called victims’ advocates awful, and worse, for interfering with her efforts to make inroads with a murder victim’s relative.
“They figured out I was talking to her and that my client’s mother was talking to her and they didn’t like that so they sent one of these victim witness’ little b**ches up there,” she said.”

  16. Kleat says:

sosad, could be part of Mort Smith’s education too– a few psychology courses, if not a full degree or more. He has a MA. The administrative assistant, who was also at Kronk’s depo, has a minor in psychology, so says her bio. Could be that they were evaluating Kronk for more than simple answers, looking for his weaknesses, how to exploit same.

  17. westsidehudson says:

Blink _FYI on the motion for all TES records. I thought that you might like to know this answer especially since you volunteered:

    WSH-

IMO, that move spells more D-E-S-P-E-R-A-T-I-O-N.

(if Kronk is their man..as they would gladly insinuate these last few days… why are they still searching for a volunteer to pin it on?)

No volunteer is obligated to speak with the defense, unless the volunteer either a)wishes to speak with them, or b) is subpoenaed by the defense (and in order for the court to issue a subpoena on an out-of-state witness.. there are jurisdictional hurdles for the defense to overcome).

All that this signals to me is that they could not find anything of “value” to them in the names of the volunteers which the court already permitted them to review after the hearing this summer on their initial motion seeking the court to compel the production of TES records.

Agreed. Keep in mind outside of whatever records they had access to through the court, the defense has been very actively soliciting members of TES to speak with them and have received a fair amount of interviews that way, directly.
    B

  18. westsidehudson says:

    Interesting Blink.

Although the cynical part of me might want to conclude that it really isn’t conversations that they want with volunteers, but rather names and addresses so that Lyon the PI can do some digging.

  19. westsidehudson says:

May I ask, have they contacted you directly?

I cant comment on that WSH, sorry
    B

  20. westsidehudson says:

    OR….

Maybe after they received this latest statement from Buchanan, they believe that they can find more searches willing to get on the bandwagon to state that there was no body, in order to corroborate Buchanan’s testimony.

  21. westsidehudson says:

    searchers…not searches

  22. westsidehudson says:

Blink apologies if this is posted twice. I got tossed offline:

It’s interesting to evaluate the psychology of some of Lyon’s statements in the video. Disclosure: I didn’t watch them, but rather read the article. She refers to female prosecutors wearing strap-*** at home. She mentions attire that they wear. (which frankly is pretty hilarious based on her garb) So she is questioning their femininity? Interesting that, no offense, but up until the recent make-over, I would not have considered Lyon to have been particularly (remotely)”feminine” at least as far as appearances go. Also, in the words of my grandmother, “she talks like a longshoreman”, so isn’t it kind of ironic that she is calling another woman (or women) out for being too man-like or masculine? And what characteristics make up feminine traits, the art of crying “on cue” in a court room?

  23. claudia says:

Ms. Andrea Lyon, If she think she gets into the hearts and minds
of a jury and turns this into feels instead of hearing and thinking
with the brain then I wonder this.

    1. Did she ask Casey, Does your mother tend to be unforgiving?
does she say things like “I will never be able to forgive you for
that” I think these words were Casey’s in the very first interview.

    2. Is it hard or impossible for you mother to admit mistakes?

    3. Does your mother always have the last word?

    4. Is it important for her that she always appears to be right and
    win all the arguements?

    5. Does your mother make you feel responsible for her feelings (for
her happiness or unhappiness or hurt or disappointments)?

    6. Does your mother tell you she is disappointed in you?

    7. Does your mother ever tell you that you don’t deserve things?
For example, “you don’t deserve all the things your Father (well
not so much George cause Cindy would only allow him to take
the job she want him to have). and I do for you.

    8. Does she try to get you to question your own intelligence by
saying things like “you think your so smart” or ” you are not
smart as you like to think you are. Or if you are so smart, how
can you do something so stupid.? or “Why didn’t you think of that.

    10. Does your mother say things like “you could do better” in a
    Disapproving way?

So if Ms. Lyons theory is Why is Casey who she is then I say
Cindy will be run over by the bus. Does Casey need to be afraid of
her anymore? (Cindy) Pick it apart my friends.

Pick on line and comment where you have seen Cindy speak these words.

using force upon them, invalidating their feelings, dominating the
conversations, refusing to apologize, always needing to have the last
word. judging or rejecting her friends, failing to show trust in them.

I believe Ms Lyons got into the mind (feelings) of Casey by using
Cindy as the bad person. Sorry so long blink.

  24. BEES KNEES says:

Blink, why do you think Lyons made sure of the release of her offensive tape? I think she should go back to wherever she came from.

And WOW!!! Imagine that defense team finding not one but two witnesses that are able to walk on water!!! They should send them to Algeria with two fishes and a loaf of bread.

Just watched the WKMG interview w/Tony Pepitone. Wow! There were so many things those women said that were outrageous, I wouldn’t even know where to begin to discuss it. I will say it was nice to see that Andrea has had her hair straightened and dyed, looks like she had here eyebrows tweezed and put some makeup on. It did make quite a difference and IMO made her seem more credible. She certainly did not have the old hag hippie thing going as she has in the past.

The end of the interview made me gag a little when they talked about how brave Kronk’s exes were. PULEASE!

  26. StillThinking says:

Hi — I just wanted to leave my comment somewhere about my slightly different viewpoint regarding Cindy. In reading all of the posts about when Cindy may have known something had happened to Caylee, I’ve had a different theory for quite awhile. Being a parent of 4 semi-adults myself, my ears perked up on some statements made early in this case. First, remember, Cindy said “I gave you 30 days.” This represents some sort of 1-month deadline pre-arrangement they had, and is why everyone knows she was missing “31 days.” I suspect Casey or Cindy thought or read somewhere that after 30 days cause of death would be more difficult to determine. I’ve never believed controlling Cindy would wait 30 days without seeing Caylee under normal circumstances, nor do I believe George’s account of seeing Casey and Caylee the morning after Father’s Day. It had too many fake details. I believe the whole family may know that there was a huge fight the night before that resulted in the death of Caylee, and Cindy gave Casey 30 days to lie low and come up with a plausible story. If she had really been missing 30 days and the parents hadn’t seen them, then what was the story about Casey getting to her car in the garage ahead of her dad to return the gas can before he looked in her trunk? What I also think is that the whole thing with Cindy bringing Amy with her to “witness” her discovering Casey was a ruse that either Cindy, or Cindy AND Casey, cooked up. I also think Amy knew something, and was involved in some way, or else was being used. Casey just seemed too nonchalant about using Amy’s checks at Target, as though she had permission, perhaps as payback for something. There was something about her not getting to go on a trip with Amy, so maybe Amy owed her something, but then Casey took more than was owed. I just feel like Casey appeared relaxed when Caylee first went missing because she thought her mother was going to handle everything. When you consider that Cindy might have known all along, everything since then takes on a different light. Alternately, maybe Caylee wasn’t killed during their fight, although Cindy likely said things in anger like, “I’m done with both of you. She’s your child. You raise her!” Then, Casey did something stupid like leaving her in a trunk or not watching her in the pool because she was high and accidentally killed her. Once discovered by Cindy, she probably immediately and tearfully confessed to the “accident,” which is when Cindy changed her “dead body” story to “rotting pizza.” Otherwise, why would she withdraw her dead body reference, since it still could have been Caylee’s, and start looking for the “real” killer since that doesn’t mean Casey did it, unless she knew otherwise . . .

  27. ChicagoJudy says:

One more thing, Andrea does refer to Casey as a poor young girl who the state of Florida wants to “kill”. In the whole 16 minute inteview, I don’t think either of those lawyers mentioned Caylee. I’ll have to go back and watch it again to make sure. Sad. According to them, the ONLY thing poor young Casey did wrong was not call the police for 31 days. Simple.

  28. Tug says:

A friend and I were discussing the accusation that there is an actual witness to Baez unethical behavior regarding sexual intimacy with Casey Anthony. The subject came up regarding the possibility of a mistrial should there be sufficient evidence and the allegations persued. When all is said and done I am sure it will come out and probably by Casey herself, just another opportunity for her to claim to be a victim.
Bias will deny this until death (or a book deal), but how will this affect the pipedream team should a witness come forward… will their careers be compromised?
I would think that being associated with such a breach of ethics by Baez and I am assuming here that they may know or have suspicions. Thoughts of leaving the defense team would or should be on their minds. Rats that leave a sinking ship are usually the best swimmers and from what I have read and been led to understand, Andrea Lyon has a higher moral conscience then most.
The only smart piece of work by Baez is that he did manage to do Jane Valdez Mitchell’s program on a Friday with the knowledge that Friday’s show is a rerun on Saturday. He had two days BS instead of just one; he managed to cover a larger audience.

  29. Kleat says:

Ms. Lyon made it very clear in her lecture, that she goes after the victim’s family too– inserts herself in there between any victim’s advocacy person (who she called *&^* bitches). So the defense will talk to anyone and everyone, for their own purporses.

If Lyon had an ill and stressed victim’s family member, she’d go talk to them. This is an actress without conscience.

  30. Kleat says:

They are either using Kronk as the person who did it, and gaining the TES records to show that the area was searched to support that, or Kronk himself, is a ploy to be able to talk an unaware judge, into giving over the whole TES records, because he thinks their real need is to confirm Kronk’s story. In reality, they want the records because they want everything– to see what they can dig up on anyone who might be even better than Kronk– they may even have a few in mind and ‘dirty’ looking already.

    EXCERPTED FROM HORNSBY”S BLOG

UPDATE: So I passed on my blog post to the powers that be over at FACDL this morning, and low and behold they apparently expressed their displeasure with WFTV-ABC for dishonestly obtaining and using their seminar materials.

Hal Boedeker apparently obtained this explanation from them:

“WFTV took down the story because the station said it had run its course and also as a courtesy to the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. That group’s leader said the story compromises his ability to get attorneys to come to his seminars as presenters.”

Now, this is the only Casey Anthony story WFTV-ABC has ever completely removed from their website, so why, oh why, would the great Kathi Belich care what the president of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers is concerned with – oh right, so Bill Sheaffer doesn’t get kicked out of the organization.

Tell me about that, she specifically says “Ooops your taping this” during her *cough* lecture on letches.

baez is to using ! her as his role model . I dont know much about defense attorneys! are they all blood thirsty sucking up the jugular? not caring who they destroy in the process. what about justice for little caylee. why have they all forgotten what the cause is !! seeking justice for caylee. when and where will all this meaness, madness and destruction of peoples lives end.
I hope and pray as we all should that the judge does not grant them the change of venue.
they themselves have tained the media. They have popped up all over the place on various TV shows !! to further their cause. hello are you FORGETTING that caylee also needs her day in court.
are we the only surrogate! family that caylee has? I am now100% for the death penalty for casey. Its hard to understand all this mess! we deal with this on a daily basis. sometimes I just wanna walk away because I cant handle this ! but than I am reminded of the little girl that was missing for 31 days while her mommy was out partying it up getting tatoes! and living the beautiful life! while little caylee laid in the cold, dark rainy woods full of snakes and etc etc . yes sadly she spent months alone!!In a lonely wooded area ! a sweet innocent helpless child. it looks like casey has no intent on pleading! nor are her attorneys encouraging her to do so. they are doing her an injustice (hooray) its hard to not feel bitter against the grandparents and anyone that profited from caylees death. I have never ever in my life seen anyone sell pictures and tv appearances! to such magnitude!! makes me wonder about something. CINDY IS ON DISABILITY LEAVE FOR HER STRESS RIGHT ????.did any of you guys hear about the woman on facebook that was bragging about having such a good time! while recieving disability benefits??? well she lost her disability as a result. is that possibly why the anthonys are keeping guiet? THEY TOLD THE WOMAN IF SHE WAS HAVING SUCH A GOOD TIME AND WASNT DEPRESSED SHE COULD GO BACK TO WORK. while the anthonys continue to spend money, sell pictures and live the good life for their daughter. many people take lees silence for caring! do not be fooled he is quiet because he doesnt want to loose his job and has more than showed his support to his sister! the stupid no making sense CMA rants crying and kissing his bracelet!! none of them have stood up for caylee. George WANTED to long ago but cindy put the halt on that quickly. He knew in his heart what time it was!! so did cindy!!! but again to do so would dry up the gravy train.

when all is said and done its all about the money.
I am outraged that the judge would not allow the prosecution the privvy to find out how they were financing her defense.!!A woman with no job, no skills other than stealing family and friends dry!! I just get so annoyed when I see and hear baez! his arrogance is just more than I can handle at times!! his incompetency is the joke of every seasoned attorney.

    RANT OVER!!!

DP for casey is justice for caylee!!!

IMHO I believe that the defense KNOWS what they are doing is really far-fetched and really have no facts to back any of this up. They are trying to create a reasonable doubt for any possible juror in an attempt to keep the DP off the table. I would venture to bet that they KNOW Casey will be found guilty based on everything the prosecution has to back up their claims. Since they read from this site, they are probably all high-five’ing each other because we are all having fits over their recent actions. It probably would be a better idea if we didn’t play into their games. We all know they lie. Don’t fall into their trap.

  44. Chica says:
