Caylee/Casey Anthony Case: New Discovery Released
Orlando, FL– The State Attorney’s Office is set to release 1000 additional pages of discovery this morning of previously unseen evidence in the case against Casey Anthony for the murder of her daughter, Caylee Marie.
Sources within the SA’s office speaking on the condition of anonymity to blinkoncrime.com say the new information is largely FBI reports.
The release comes on the heels of new motions filed by the defense this week.
Jose Baez and Andrea Lyon, defense counsel for Casey Anthony filed a motion alleging double jeopardy violation in the upcoming fraud case, a reply to the states motion to preclude death procedures and yet another motion to dismiss. A hearing date has not yet been set by Judge Strickland’s office.

Kleat, you’ve more intestinal fortitude than I do. I couldn’t stomach but twenty minutes of Lyons’ lecture. The moment she started talking win at any cost, I saw maggots and flies and tiny bones laying in the muck. I just couldn’t take it.
As for the change of venue, I don’t believe Strickland wants to let this go. Nor has he reason to. Between the Anthony’s and the defense, they have gone national, making this case the most talked about since O.J.. No where will Casey find a juror who hasn’t heard, or formed some sort of an opinion. Not in the state of Florida anyway. Such a change would be not only pointless but too costly to consider. Strickland’s covered all the bases. He’s dotted every “I” thus far and crossed every “T” to avoid a judicial/procedural upheval. A mistrail, is going to be called for regardless, just as an appeal is guaranteed should Casey be found guilty.
This isn’t going to be over for a very long time; but the good thing is, Casey will continue to rot in jail until it is, and unfortunately, until it is and the charges then start falling down upon the heads of George and Cindy, they will continue to profit. Does it make us want to throw up? Throw in the towel? You bet. But for Caylee we can’t, even because it has become so utterly clear now that not only are we her advocates, we are her family, and we have to keep fighting for justice for her, if it be but to raise our voices in truth against these heinous people.
Hang in there, Kleat. And we will hang in there with you. For Caylee, and every child like her.

Blink, Kleat, all, I have a bit of a question, and if it’s been addressed before, sorry about that; but, what sort of bad acts can Kronk be accused of that might link him to Casey when IN FACT he has no criminal record? He’s been convicted of nothing. Seems to me to be a mute point, then.

Gavi, Ms. Lyon said to make up a defense theory if you have to. Bill Schaeffer discusses her ‘scorched earth’ approach in his blog, and also that some defense lawyers do anything they have to do, to win at all costs. Mr. Kronk, it seems, may just be one of those ‘costs’.

They are putting a defense ‘theory’ out there, it’s not so much, for reasonable doubt, we know that’s not going to happen although that’s what they are trying to say at this point, it’s really about ‘mitigation’ at the penalty phase, which is what Ms. Lyon’s job is– that is HER job, her one and only job.
It’s like the media hype on the Ms. Buchanan sworn statement– that might be completely true, but it’s finely crafted to make us assume that Buchanan was walking through the area directly where the body was found. Read it more carefully– see what it REALLY does NOT say– it clearly says nothing of the sort. What it says, is that she checked the fenceline area, then moved to and beyond where the body wa s found– did she walk on water to do that??? Was she wearing hip waders to walk on a body, crush a little skull into the mud (Tim Miller discussed this was why they did not search that area because it was wet– they could do more harm, push the skull right into the mud where it would never be found or they could crush it under an tire).
If that person did go through the water, they were irresponsible– more likely, what that person is really saying, is that they walked along the ‘dry’ (higher) parts, not in the water where the body was actually found.
All twisted, all for the purposes of jury influence as Ms. Lyon says. (note also, this is a family affair– Jon, Rachel, Andrea, Gerry– all working together).
sosad, yes, you are right. The blog is back up, perhaps revised, didn’t see the first version. But Andrea Lyon’s audio files are no longer there, as is no longer there, the WFTV written report about it, with quotes and discussion from Ms. Lyon. Bit embarrassing for her, actually, she’s showing her hand, and even talks about the cheque fraud case as an example of a case that can’t be won because they have ‘evidence’. So that’s a bit of a blunder on her part.
Casey was caught on jail video talking about the stealing, and said ‘tell Amy I’m sorry’, and then they have the videos from the bank, from Target, with the purchases. Lyon then used that case as an example.

Audio files can be still found on YouTube. I’ve made simple recordings of 20 minutes but it seems to have cut off. Interesting that the ‘related videos’ are all about sports– probably because the MC on tape 1, talked about the university’s football team in his intro.

And for those that are interested, I did verify that Mr. Sheaffer lied to obtain the seminar materials. Apparently FACDL was concerned that the audio would be leaked, so they set up a system to stream the audio.
Mr. Sheaffer called FACDL headquarters and claimed he was having a hard time hearing the audio and would like to have a copy sent to him. He went so far as to say he needed it so that he could maintain hid death penalty qualifications.
FACDL believed Mr. Sheaffer and sent him the audio as he requested – he immediately turned it over to Ms. Belich. The rest is history – just like his reputation among his colleagues.

As a side-note, I was informed that when this situation was brought to the attention of the News Director for WFTV-ABC, he was the consummate professional and removed all references at the request of FACDL. I would like to not only commend him for that, I would like to say thank you.

It seems that all traces of the two audios of the lecture by Andrea Lyon, have been wiped cleanly from WFTV and that the existing YouTube versions, which are probably only a portion of the full two audio originals (it seems the second half at wftv wasn’t copied for YouTube yet– I’ve got notes from the second audio which aren’t on YouTube yet).

Hornsby is calling Bill Schaeffer out, and makes suggestions that he may be kicked out of the defense attorney association.
Blink, do you think that anyone who publishes copies of that, can be asked to destroy their copies? Oops– I haven’t published anything, and have no way to do so, nor have I shared. I did make some notes.
If these things are so ‘secret’, then why? What happens when one prosecutor becomes a defense lawyer, or one defense lawyer gets sick of defending the guilty, and goes over to the prosecution or gets out of criminal law? Are they not allowed to teach what they know to others?
Why not open up prosecution tactics to the defense and visa versa. Ok, it’s really not that hard to study one’s opponent, it just takes time, but once done, that can be published. Look at what Andrea Lyon publishes– she just avoids maybe, the G-D’s and F-U’s.
Gavriella — If there is a change of venue, I believe that Strickland goes with it. Can anyone verify this? I think I read this somewhere. The purpose is to get an untainted jury pool (Mars?) not change the judge.

I just watched the start of the Pipitone interview and immediately the defence women refer to Kronk’s son’s interview as defining, significant, etc. I watched that interview a few days ago and it seemed so obvious that the son had the dates mixed up — everything he said that his father told him in their phone call seemed accurate to what we know happened when Kronk found the remains, just the dates were off. I thought that discrepancy was even already pointed out somewhere in the media as a “misremembering” (close cousin of mistruth) rather than an intriguing fact leading to suspicion. Now this case is seeming kind of — hmm, what’s the word —- gosh I can’t even think of a wprd. Justice for Caylee!
Gavi, yesterday I did not listen to the Lyon lecture, I put on pt one, heard a little. Later I played pt 2, and made a few notes. Today, the part one has not got the ‘juicy’ bits that made up most of yesterday’s story, the female prosecutors etc, and the swearing came in pt 2, the accusations of Ben, part 2. That part has ‘disappeared completely’, or wasn’t put on YT in the first place.
Blink is very quiet– If you wish, please remove my posts that allude to any of those audio contents– last think I want is to have this site targeted. I haven’t got any files that are in any publishable form, audio, or text or otherwise. But if it helps to remove ‘comment content’, please feel free to do so. Better that than being in the middle of a nasty problem like this.

You do your thing. You are a valued contributor and friend. I am not quiet, I am feeling the detraction of a “too high” caseload and prepping for Holiday. My apologies to anyone that thought Blink was a “bot”. As a snapshot, I just glued feathers onto a hat while on a conf call going over a case that includes a pedophile, necessitating me to be in a closed office for 20 minutes and I hot glued my fingers together without a peep.
I am reminded that I am thankful I have the luxury of doing same, and I am hopeful all that are not in Caylee’s situation are as well.

This is getting crazier than ever. It’s like everybody has to take a step back and breathe abit. I’m sorry, but Mr. Hornsby, is like a kid in grade school. He just keeps saying to look at his website. Can you imagine this guy in court.

With this most recent attack on Mr.Sheaffer, it is unconscinible to see all of the mud slinging that is taking place from team Baez and outside legal analysists like Mr.Hornsby. It is emotionally draining to see in a sense, evil/wrong attempting to triumph over good/right. I am wondering, do you all think it is possible for Mr.Sheafer to have a case by means of slander/defamation of character? In my opinion, Baez and Lyons must know of Casey’s guilt, hence the self-pity statement of not knowing how to defend this case. I really don’t know how all of them can sleep at night knowing they have no problem attempting to cast doubt at the expense of everyone else.

- Lyon got the court reporter to type up voir dire of each juror in one hectic session, found it worked really well, now she does this regularly. (NOTE– now she gets Motions in Limine about this)
- Andrea’s “DO” list:
- DO quote from voir dire and remind jurors how they defined ‘mitigation’ (she uses a quote from each and every juror, looks right at them and reminds them what they have said– they think she remembers them personally)
- DO use demonstrative aids wherever you can (and as many as you can)
- DO ‘name the dragon’
(there’s always something in the case that no one wants to talk about– usually something to do with the word “RACE”… not always… sometime’s it’s sex. You need to take hold of it– to NAME IT– if you name it, you take power over it.

-DON’T distance yourself– you are NOT superior to them, if they don’t like us, they will kill our client.

- people don’t like defense lawyers, if so, do it ‘delicately’
[NOTE-- Lyons/Kenny-Baden are already suggesting police have not done their jobs, they are now doing it for them-- ie: Kronk, etc as per Tony Pip's recent interview with the two 'gals']
Andrea cites a case where there was no defense– old mean librarian looking woman who by all accounts would be ‘racist’ given the neighbourhood she came from [had to have card to prove racism before moving there, type comment by Lyon]. Lyon noticed a bright purple slip on this woman. Story of black grandmother, no money, wrote a check to buy Christmas gifts for grandkids at Toys R Us. Prosecution wouldn’t give, so Lyon says ‘fuck you, let’s pick a jury’. Purple slip told Lyon this woman was a ‘KOOK’, so she thought ‘just what I need for a jury…’. The woman was the one who swayed the jury– knitting scenario.

(that last story, toys r us, is right out of Les Miserables, with Jean val Jean being convicted of stealing a loaf of bread so he could eat– what was it, hard labour for two years? Some time since I’ve read it. Was the knitting scenario borrowed from ‘Murder Most Foul’ as questionmark posited? Creates a good anecdote anyway)
(there were other client stories in that tape, some of which I didn’t want to listen to, nevermind type out notes– a gang member who killed, etc– a bad outburst by her client to his sister on the stand, turned into a good situation– ‘see, he would rather die than see me hurt’ said the sister. Explained why he joined the gang (bad home).
DON’T be afraid to ask for mercy.
I hope that David Evans, Mr. Kronk’s lawyer, gets a look at these types of comments about his client, that the defense has caused in it’s latest ‘releases’. Calling Kronk a ‘damned creep’ and a ‘body thief’ who stole the remains from the woods to hold it to then put it back when there was a reward on his ‘day off’. They have already convicted Kronk of the ex’s claims and more…….

My holiday menu includes the usual, turkey, dressing, cranberry, nice glass (or 2 or 3) of wine, etc, and one thing the Anthony’s lack…..TRUTH and/or Peace of Mind (I personally don’t know how in the h*ll they sleep at night). We cherish & protect our little ones all the way….not cover up someones heinous acts just to save face. Ugh!
When we ask our blessing tomorrow, I will say a prayer for my little Caylee. I say my, because I feel like she is part of me as I’m sure she is part of all us Blinkers. I have a 10yr old and I think of her all the time, but not a day goes by that I don’t think of Caylee also and what she endured. *sniff*
May God help the people in this case “see the light” and move on to bigger & better things.
