Caylee/Casey Anthony Case: Macaluso Out – New Discovery Released
Orlando, FL– Announced this Sunday evening, California Attorney Todd Macaluso will not be Casey Anthony’s Valentine; or her attorney.
As predicted exclusively at blinkoncrime.com, Macaluso informed Casey and her defense team that he would not be able to represent her in the murder charge against her due to entering the alternative discipline program with the California Bar Association (CBA).
However, Mr. Macaluso has been participating in the ADP for several months. In fact, he has handled other cases, several of them, in the meantime.
Macaluso, dubbed the Madoff of Law at blinkonrime.com, had pending disciplinary charges against him he neglected to inititially disclose when he submitted his pro hac vice to Judge Stan Strickland last March.
Blinkoncrime has learned from a source inside the CBA, that Macaluso reached an agreement last week with the CBA to voluntarily take a license suspension beginning in April, for an undisclosed period of time, in order to avoid a disciplinary trial on the current charges brought against him last year.
Why allow him to continue to practice law both in Cali and Florida and all of a sudden pull the plug? New Complaint.
An additional complaint was filed last year that has reached elevated status within the CBA and became the “proverbial straw” as it were. It involves Macaluso’s distribution of a settlement, and the fact that he has already admitted the offense in Oregon, where the lawsuit is being litigated currently.
Hundreds of Discovery Docs to Be Released This Morning
Announced Yesterday, the State Attorneys Office will be releasing several CD’s of new discovery after 8:30 AM EST this morning. It is expected to contain video of the special Henkel duct tape believed to be the source of the tape found on the skull of Caylee Marie Anthony, and other documents and photos.

Upthread, I recall seeing a mention Casey had a new attorney for her Civil Case. I do not think that is the case. The attorney showing on the Clerk of Courts records is Tomasita (or something like that). However, before the Clerk of Courts records did a site upgrade, this attorney’s name was listed as Casey’s attorney, as was Kasen’s name. Once the site upgrade was complete, Kasen’s name no longer appeared. If my memory is correct, the lady attorney was Casey’s attorney “before” Kasen, however I don’t believe that she ever appeared in court and Morgan seemed to have a bit of difficulty because she wouldn’t respond… and eventually Casey switched her attorney to Kasen.
WFTV just stated on their website that Judge Strickland has given the prosecution the order to keep secret their latest evidence for up to 30 days From the defense.
Did the Anthony’s foreclose on their home in Ohio as well? Anyone know about this?

Hi to all – and Pamela (#42) – the info on the Foundation needs to be filed to the IRS on the PF 990 form. It’s just like we have to report our tax info by April 15th. This form will show all monies disbursed to Officers and Directors of the Foundation and what indeed the FOundation did with the money that was contributed…..And as I have said before – they couldn’t get Al Capone for murder but they got him on tax evasion …..The PF 990 form should be available for review becuase i concerns tax-exempt foundations. Years ago there was a clearinghouse to even request them. It would be great if Blink or Blink-ster could take a look!

Gosh, prosecutors having some new evidence they want to keep the defense from seeing for a while, Dominic Casey relocating, lawyer on the defense resigning, spokeswoman for the defense resigning, Morgan & Morgan filing a witness list, “unexpected” (Hah!) foreclosures left and right from parties with interests to the defense…….so much “coincidence” (wink).
Cruises, tatoos, diamond stud earrings, comissary account funding, etc. all cost money. Then there is disability money and if you’re below income there is always food stamps or whatever it’s called these days. Looks to me that the ability to pay $785/mo mortgage (cheap where I’m from) was very doable….unless of course you didn’t want to pay. Hiding assets didn’t work for OJ. You can’t hide assets forever.
Blink didn’t the inmate’s brother at one point move out of the house he was renting up the street from his parents house and move into his parent’s home, that way he could “help out”?

I usually don’t talk about it but it felt right and I know that everyone on this site is extremely empathetic and such great people!! I have tried my hardest to beat this “broken” part of me for years– even did EMDR. helped but I don’t believe this will go away- diminishing but not gone. I even got a BA in psychology and an AAS in substance abuse to cure myself– of course it doesn’t work that way. I use these bad experienced in helping my clients because I understand where some of them are coming from. During my schooling, we were told to deal with past experiences so they wouldn’t come up in counseling sessions. My counselor stated “Do you know how many Schriner kids there are? Tons.” Thats what we are refered to. so sad. I have such a hard time understanding why some people in this world have to go thru horrible trauma- wish I could hug every last one of them!!! It does make us who we are if we let it take us somewhere positive. Thanks again!!!!
30 days from February 24th–> Casey will spend her 24th O’Birthday wondering what the state has got, and she will know that even if she gets out, she may never visit her old bedroom and all ‘her’ things, ever again.

Can the Anthonys file an extension? I’m sure their buddies, the Milsteads, can show the all the tricks to delay and hide what the foundation is really worth.
It really saddens me the road the Anthony’s have chosen to travel after the lost of their granddaughter and continue to follow even to this day. They could have taken their tragedy and make a positive impact in the community but they chose not too by their own behaviors and doings.
I was just reviewing a past tragedy of a little girl in my community where the family took their heartache, hurt and sadness made something productive happen in the community. It is hard to believe it has been nearly fifteen years since the incident.

I just finished e-mailing the television station that last report on the subject. With all of the children abductions and murders reported last year could someone from WESH be assigned to do a follow segment from the Osceola County School system or even maybe include all the WESH viewing area counties school districts? Is this program still in existence, updated and being implemented each year in Osceola County School System or has the funding just gone away?
I was sure to thank them for their prompt attention to this matter.

Joan, that’s a head shaker for sure! How can anyone tell anyone else, how money would be used. Even if earmarked for specific living purposes, that frees up other monies that can go to Casey’s canteen fund, to her other needs, lawyers, investigators, sundries. Other money could be used for a holiday vacation. Doesn’t mean that money will go to the bank to pay the monthly charges, and now, a year of penalties and interest on top of all that.

I brought this up on HM. Since it is the headquarters, my thought was that a portion of the mortgage could have legitimately been paid for by the nonprofit, if there was any money in it.
Who knows what will happen with the nonprofit. Maybe since Mallory is one of the ? directors they could use her address?
One more point, I have seen others speculating that the delay may have to do with George, but I’m kind of doubting that since it appears that Conway is still speaking for the both of the Anthonys. If it were George, I would think another lawyer might be involved. I can’t imagine him embarking on this odyssey alone, and still living under the same roof as Cindy.
I think D Casey or Lee. Your thoughts Blink? I guess it could be someone or something that we don’t even know of yet though

#7 Joan and #13 Leslee S. Yes there is a deadline for filing but I believe that Corporations and non-profits have different criteria, and even if the date is April 15 they can file for an extension also, but still should pay the “figured” taxes in April.
I wouldn’t be able to get my friend to give me any specific answers on the case against Casey or any investigation into the Anthony’s, from what I understand anyone involved in the investigations (on LE side) aren’t supposed to be talking to anyone, what I get from him is more smirking and innuendo, that I bring my own take into from my relationship and long term knowledge of his sense of humor and behaviorisms. I wish he could tell me more, but I understand his rock and a hard place on this case as he is involved, and it is a very high exposure, they don’t want to make any errors, type of case

Heidi, I would certainly think that the state had more to obtain from Dominic. After all, he was at the center of it all……privy to the Anthony going-ons & Baez’s, too, more than likely. You do remember that Dominic went to New York with the Anthonys & Conway in hopes that he would be included in a book/movie deal? Yep, Dominic was in the thick of things. I don’t think that he suddenly got a conscious…..I think that he may have talked to keep from being in a heap of trouble himself. JMO

I pursued this a little farther and the request is a year old. The poster is Jennifer Kynett of Akron Ohio. If you google her name, she was also involved in setting up a memorial site at an Akron bank for a deceased young man. She is listed as an entrepreneur on another site. In January 2009, she made the request for donations to the Anthony’s on really inappropriate MSNBC sites. You can draw your own conclusions because any opinion I have might get my treasured Blink biscuit revoked.

Here in Wisconsin once foreclosure papers have been served the people can live in the house for 10-12 months mortgage payment free. So if that is the case in Fl the Anthonys will have a place to live for another year.

What you said! I am so angry, I’ve had to stop reading about them. I’ve never felt so much contempt for anyone. They are opportunists and bottom feeders. They’ve sold Caylee out over and over. When is that little boo going to get her funeral??????????
I pray no one buys into their lies and demands anymore. I pray that every opp they use to make money only exposes them for the scam artists they’ve become. They’ve been money hungry long before sweet Caylee’s death. These 2 are a minion of their own.
God’s timing is always perfect. Make no mistake their choices will come at another cost (you’d think Caylee would be a loss to them).
To the use of Kerley’s accusations of alleged ‘bad acts’ by Kronk seems to be able to be used as a comparison to Casey, ie: another suspect had previous bad acts, Casey has never had such bad acts, yes, she had some lies out there but she never duct taped anyone, she never kidnapped anyone.
In this case of a young person accused of murder and found to have been doing what appears to be ‘research’ online, including those well known ‘Google searches’ for shovels, chemicals, neck-breaking, etc., what are the chances of a person in this position, doing ‘prep’, of not ever having had the experience of killing a living being? If not for whatever ‘personal’ feeling it might cause for the person, what about pure ‘research’ and providing an experience before attempting the plan of killing a person.
Wonder if this was a very first experience, or if the pets or neighbouring animals might have been first experimental targets? Would this be a warning sign, maybe not taken seriously enough? Animal abuse first is reported to be a precursor to humans.
