Caylee/Casey Anthony Case: Macaluso Out – New Discovery Released

Orlando, FL– Announced this Sunday evening, California Attorney Todd Macaluso will not be Casey Anthony’s Valentine; or her attorney.

Jose-casey-and-todd-macaluso

As predicted exclusively at blinkoncrime.com, Macaluso informed Casey and her defense team that he would not be able to represent her in the murder charge against her due to entering the alternative discipline program with the California Bar Association (CBA).

However, Mr. Macaluso has been participating in the ADP for several months. In fact, he has handled other cases, several of them, in the meantime.

Macaluso, dubbed the Madoff of Law at blinkonrime.com, had pending disciplinary charges against him he neglected to inititially disclose when he submitted his pro hac vice to Judge Stan Strickland last March.

Blinkoncrime has learned from a source inside the CBA, that Macaluso reached an agreement last week with the CBA to voluntarily take a license suspension beginning in April, for an undisclosed period of time, in order to avoid a disciplinary trial on the current charges brought against him last year.

Why allow him to continue to practice law both in Cali and Florida and all of a sudden pull the plug? New Complaint.

An additional complaint was filed last year that has reached elevated status within the CBA and became the “proverbial straw” as it were. It involves Macaluso’s distribution of a settlement, and the fact that he has already admitted the offense in Oregon, where the lawsuit is being litigated currently.

Hundreds of Discovery Docs to Be Released This Morning

Announced Yesterday, the State Attorneys Office will be releasing several CD’s of new discovery after 8:30 AM EST this morning. It is expected to contain video of the special Henkel duct tape believed to be the source of the tape found on the skull of Caylee Marie Anthony, and other documents and photos.

Check back to blinkoncrime.com for updates and links to the discovery.

On another blog someone said that they were no longer living in the house on Hopespring but were living (renting)in another neighbourhood on Flatwood Lane. Some others were saying that maybe it was Holly Gagne’s new place. Who knows for sure?

Also, what about Holly Gagne. Could the prosecution have info from her ex, she did fight with her ex and smashed the trunk over “pictures”, but maybe they weren’t pictures but notebooks (Cindy’s bible) or maybe she was in possession of the bat phones. There is so much going on out in blog world, but I guess we’ll just have to wait. I am so not the patient type!

Blink, I still think it’s DC, though.

Hey! Be careful what you “click” on when it comes to “The Anthony’s”. Dezinerdeals…could be linked to the new “Feel Sorry for the Anthony’s fund”, should either a purchase is made or to track your URL for advertisements. “THOSE SNEAKY LITTLE DEVILS…” is my new favorite quote from DC. Hey, here’s an idea! Sell red T-shirts with “Sneaky Little Devils” on the front and “The Anthony’s” on the back. What do ya think?

Speculation is that the anthonys have been in contact with casey thru the internet at least thats what I think! during the times that he(baez) would go to the jail and visit! or letters etc I dunno if its true or wild gueses.

  4. chica says:

    Leslee
I certainly hope that the anthonys are held accountable one day SOON!! for their involvement if it can be proven that they have obstructed justice. what makes it more sick and very sad to me!

if it can be proven that the anthonys had knowledge of caylees remains being where they were found ! WAS it the sigh!kick ! Dominic was on the phone with that nite(of course not) was it cindy? that is very possible. the ANTHONYS (cindy, lee george) need to be held accountable for all the injustice (obstruction) and lack of respect they gave to caylee their only grandaughter. If they knew the remains were there!!! what were they planning on doing ? moving the remains elsewhere. That only proves cindy knew casey did it!!! and if cindy knew and dominic knew than BAEZ knew too!!! god will give caylee justice!
We dont know what Dominic is singing ? anyone care to name that tune? tell it like it is? cuz he sure didnt hear it through the grapevine.

and if baez is in deep and he gets disbarred what will happen to his legal analyst job at fox? do you think that gerlado would still want to hang out with him! this case has taken so many twists and turns, theres drama, midnight cowboy Padilla rides into town to save the day !! !! Than theres romance (dominic and cindy) casey and baez)THAN WE SEE comedy ! evidenced by the inappropiate laughter between lee and tracy (seperate interviews)!
I can see why they want to turn this case into a movie!

    I dont hate the A’s
But I wouldnt want to be in their shoes right now.
they have gotten so out of control with their actions, meaness and attacks on people!! they got away with alot of mess they did(or so they thought) now it may be time to pay the piper!!!

    new tshirt slogan for them
    IT SUCKS TO BE US!!

If they want anyone to believe that Kronk had Caylee,I guess they’ll first have to find the connection between him and Zenaida. Because,as we all know, the last time Casey saw Caylee, she was with Zenaida!!! And Casey would never lie about something as important as that day some time between 9 am and 1 pm!!!! Unbelievable, isn’t it?

I don’t think the foreclosures and the sealed evidence are related.

The foreclosure process would have been started months ago…long before this “new evidence” came to light.

I think the foreclosures are due to this case draining all the attorneys involved.

The new evidence? That could be a multitude of things.

  11. AnnetteInMn says:

Regarding D. Casey searching the woods, does anyone suppose it might be possible that on his trip alone into the woods that perhaps he did discover Caylee? Maybe the purpose of the search wasn’t so much to find Caylee and report that her remains have been found but instead to plant or tamper with evidence at the scene?

Based on Cindy’s, George’s, and Lee’s deposition they do not believe that the remains are Caylee (yeah right – sarcasm dripping). So if they don’t believe it was Caylee and they believe her to yet be alive why on earth would Cindy even suggest someone walk the woods in the first place?

I think the intent was to do nothing other than tamper with or plant evidence. They know dog gone well the remains are Caylee and that Casey is responsible. Their only mission has been to try to clear Casey and throw someone else under bus. I think Cindy was the engineer on the train sending D. Casey into the woods and he was nothing more than the caboose following her lead. I even suspect that he, at Cindy’s directive, planted the disney bag, the gatorade bottle, and the shorts at that very least.

I’m wondering why some here think the secret evidence has something to do with Dominic Casey.

I’m thinking it has more to do with paternity test results, and the prosecution and a certain baby daddy have been given thirty days to brace themselves for the onslaught of scrutiny its release will bring.

Unless, of course, the prosecution can find a way to delay its release even longer, if not completely supress.

Personally, I don’t see the relevance of knowing who Caylee’s father is. If paternity in some way makes him a suspect, I’m sure he can be cleared of suspicion without revealing those results. My opinion only, but who fathered Caylee, at this point, is moot.

To recap my post, I just want the SAO, in thirty days, to release a big, fat FINGERPRINT belonging to Casey on the duct tape. Is that too much to ask?

  20. Ragdoll says:

Don’t feel bad Chica. I just learned about the hinky myself.

  21. Leslee S. says:

OnASeriousNote: The relevance of an ‘alive’ daddy is that daddy can possibly step in and prevent any future earnings from the Anthonys. An ‘alive’ daddy could step up to the plate & scream justice for Caylee…..Caylee certainly needs someone from her family to do so.

  22. Leslee S. says:

Okay, I may be hallucinating, but didn’t we see an outside press conference by someone from law enforcement stating that they had knowledge of who Caylee’s father is? But, of course, they did not tell us.

Chica — you said “I can see why they want to turn this case into a movie!”

When you mentioned the comedy, it reminded me of the movie “Fargo” — This movie was about a true, very tragic story of a man who has his wife kidnapped in an effort to extort the ransom money from his father-in-law. A horrible ending, but the characters were so bumbling, it was funny at the same time. I can clearly imagine the story of this case being told that way!

Hundreds of pages of more evidence in the first-degree murder case against Casey Anthony have been released to her defense team, according to a notice filed Friday in Orange County Circuit Court.

State prosecutors listed 19 items — mostly CDs and a few DVDs — that were released to Casey Anthony’s defense as part of the discovery process.

The items released include interviews, photos and transcripts. The notice states there are enhanced photos from the FBI of the trunk of Casey Anthony’s vehicle.

The evidence can eventually be released to the public under Florida’s public records law, but has not yet been turned over to the media.

Also on Friday, the Orlando lawyer for Texas EquuSearch, a volunteer group that helped search for Caylee Anthony, filed court documents related to the group’s search for missing toddler.

Casey Anthony’s defense team has asked that EquuSearch make available its files on the volunteers who aided in the searches. More than 4,000 documents have already been made available to prosecutors and the defense to review.

  39. MsEnscene says:

Is anybody here following Padilla’s “bombshell” on Nancy Grace last night? He’s working on that ol’ daisy chain, again, and now he’s more than implying that Kronk’s discovery of the body, and how the info got to Roy, is the “new evidence” that the judge is reviewing and the witnesses under protection are Kronk’s ex-wife and son. Kronk bragged to them about learning the location of Caylee’s body and how he was going to be on T.V. finding it.

That’s not the worst of it. Leonard is implying that LE (he specifically named John Allen) knew the body was not in the little Econ River because they knew where it really was from the daisy chain of info starting at the jail.

As Blink would say, “Oy, vey!”

You are kidding me. LE knew the body was not in little Econ River because it had just been side-scanned.
    Idiot.

  40. westsidehudson says:

    Blink

Do you still converse with L Padilla? What’s going on with him? People wrote on various sites how basically he was accusing Det John Allen of fraud and conspiracy. Can someone please ask him where he got this info, and who his source is? He is tossing out some serious sh**.

I have not spoken to Leonard since he tried to interject himself into the Cummings case.

I feel that he is playing both sides of the fence to get on camera again and update his profile into Caylee’s case.

Tony is a friend of mine, and I feel very sorry for the position his Uncle continually puts him in without regard.

I can say without reservation, that OCSO has, and “has had” his number from day one. Sad.

    B

  41. westsidehudson says:

Has he lost his mind? Even if he truly believes what he is saying, wouldn’t the place to talk about this be in court, or with the special police unit that investigates officers, rather than on Nancy Grace?

Blink, please ask him what he is doing.

WSH- that is exactly what he wants- attention. He has jumped the shark as it were and he is not fond of the fact.

    Tough Darts I say.
    B

  42. westsidehudson says:

They also wanted Padilla to take a lie detector after the Econ incident, because they felt that he might have planted stuff there. Is he pissed about that? Did he ever submit to the test?

Is he a person that simply likes to agitate, regardless? He certainly enjoys attacking Cindy Anthony, now he is on to LE?

  43. Leslee S. says:

MsEnscene: Well, that news brought Blink out to play…lol! I watched NG last night & just cannot get over what Leonard said. Leonard is probably the one that went to the Enquirer with that story.

Lol. I know guys, spread thin, working on it.

Let’s not complicate Leonard, because he is ridiculously simple.

He wants a playdate, he does not care with whom.
    B

  44. Sweet Jane says:

My personal opinion is that someone came forward and they finally have DNA results confirming Caylee’s biological father. We know Casey doesn’t want anyone to know who he is, for whatever reason.
Example: I’m picturing the TV show “Maury” Where the “Mom” ends up testing 5 or 6 guys, swearing each one is the “Daddy”
One by one, first guy.. is always the one she “wants” to be the “Daddy”. but by the end, the “Daddy” ends up being some gross old guy that bought her stuff.

Just my opinion, and I am often wrong.

But there is a reason ~probability~ a very embarrassing reason, she has held this secret for so many years. I don’t/never have bought the “he died in a car accident” story, because she could have been collecting Social Security death benefits.
I would bet that the prosecution is working day and night to find the biological father, and in my opinion they recently found him.

  45. Kleat says:

Redundant question– or at least, I really don’t want to go here, but after catching last night’s NG late rerun, could Padilla have helped Baez with his creation of the kidnap scenario? (no, don’t answer that… I’d guess that if he could have, he would have).

Here’s the quick ‘transcript’ link with Pad doing his thing.
    http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/1002/26/ng.01.html

    Quote—>

“… did the people that — like Sergeant Allen, when he came out and jacked (ph) me out, you know, and got all upset at me out at the Little Econ — was he aware that the body was not there and that it was out there about a quarter mile from the parents` house? So right now, the judge is in a quandary, like, What do I do with this mess that`s been created… within the jail?

GRACE: Long story short, by coming forward, Kronk has now unwittingly become a scapegoat for the defense, along with a whole list of others.”

  46. westsidehudson says:

    Sweet Jane says:
    February 27, 2010 at 12:38 pm

That’s interesting Sweet Jane, but it has no bearing on Casey’s guilt or innocence and not really tied to this case, unless it is one of the existing players and it ties into the death of Caylee. So I don’t really believe that that is cause for delay. But I’ve been wrong TOO!

  47. Kleat says:

To the NG transcript from last night, there is more of interest to read than Padilla.

Couple of points, Belich talked about the ‘losing the house’ and said that that it was when Lee moved in to help with the mortgage payments, that the payments stopped. What sense does that make? Must have some plan behind it.

Oh and Padilla also said that (and this is all wrapped up in his daisey chain– what else is new). This is a Pad-a quote:

” It`s about Susan (ph), his sister, Crystal (ph), his son, Brandon (ph), and the judge keeping it under wraps for the prosecution so that nobody tampers with them or harasses them. They`re very concerned about being contacted by the defense.”

Ok… why does Leonard think they spent all those hours with the defense’s PI’s answering questions, then went on camera and video taped Mort Smith’s question and answer sessions. Why? What is secret about that?

I wish Nancy Grace would let that puppet go. He had nothing for her last night, does she think he helps ratings? He is still interfering. Funny he didn’t bring up his new theory last time he was on NG, I suspect that’s ’cause he didn’t think of how to connect it to his theory until now and because he had a new idea (the secret info) to tie it into. What a jerk–

Other guests, like the psychoanalysts (Dr. B. Marshall this time), step in to ‘facts’ of this case without doing their homework. Yes, they should be able to comment within the bounds of their field and do help in understanding maybe, what could be going on with the Anthony’s, but then they go into the case and say quote “…Now the defense is unravelling because they haven’t been paid. It’s hard to know where they [grandparents] are going to turn.”

Who hasn’t been paid? Last year or so, we know Dom Casey grumbled about not being paid by Baez. The lawyer dropped out because of his own problems, not because no one paid him. Marty PR said she had been paid for her year’s work.

That’s the problem with NG, her guests add their own non-factual ‘flare’( aka ‘facts’) to the show and it doesn’t seem to matter.

  48. Nauseated says:

I want the father to be Jose. Just to add more drama to the case. (as if it needs anymore!)

  49. Leslee S. says:

Kleat: My biggest concern is what Leonard accused Det. Allen of knowing. I’m worried that if this is not addressed by Allen & the state, that the defense & the media could use Leonard’s accusation & say that there has been a cover-up by LE. What do you think?

  50. westsidehudson says:

    Kleat

K Belich is wrong. Maura posted on HM. There were several months where the mortgage was paid while Lee lived at home. I’m too lazy to go look for it, but do a google search for Maura on Hinky meter, etc. She is a master of data related to this case.
