S-C-A-M!!!! SCAM after SCAM after SCAM after SCAM!!!!!! I am so sick and tired of this whole story. What should have been a slam dunk case has become a big fat joke to the tax payers, and to the whole country. I for one, am mad!!! I am so very mad today! How can this be happening. IMO they all are a big scam. One right after another! If it weren’t for the fact that BLINK, her team, Kleat Silverspoon, Red Ranger, (there are too many to mention) I would consider throwing in the towel to humanity. I am sad. I am sad that I lost my DAD way too early in his life. I am sad my sister, (48 years old) had a heart attack 2 weeks ago, I am sad my son was born with several defects. I am sad my daughter suffered from a tumor too young in life. All these things have been hard to get through and it was a struggle for the whole family. Life hasn’t been easy and we still choose to follow the straight and narrow path. We live a simple life, nothing fancy, and we keep on struggling. How the HELL can this kind of thing go on like this??? It is all a scam! Please tell me that in the end, something GOOD will come out of this. I feel like I need to beg. And after all is said and done…………………I realize, I have been lucky enough to find my way to this site and I have had the pleasure of reading and sharing all of you great people’s ideas and thoughts on the case. There is a God, and I thank all of you for that. I guess I shall sit back and lurk for awhile. Karma is coming, and she is mad like me!!!!

Is this not too improable? The whole thing reaks of Baez and his upcoming hearing with Casey of who is paying and what happened to the $$$? Before we were not privileged to hear or watch the closed hearing about Casey’s ability to pay..which the State really wanted to know. Now comes another hearing..poor pitiful us..the money no longer exists…err..why?

How does laundering work in this scenario, Blink? Because if the money were Cruz’s, or some of it were from her, personally/legally, then there’s no laundring being done, just a gift that’s hidden away from Cindy or any other prying eyes/hands. I guess in a sense, that’s doing a wash too, but money is not legally dirty.
If the money were not Cruz’s to give (speculating only) and if she got the money from some source that is not to be known (a charity for a missing Kid to Find perhaps), passed it to George who converted it into a bogus account, or a legit account used by George with permission from his family to keep his own funds out of Cindy’s reach. Funds funneled to personal use or to Casey’s cause from a charity set up not for that purpose?
On the other hand, Cruz was in the police station when asked if she was after money in bringing this story out, she said no, if anything she suggested that it was George who took money from her, a lot of it. So this implies, if she is telling the truth, that she gave her own money to George.
Brad Conway said he learned about the story first by the Nat. Enq coming to him– now, would that be Skye going to the Nat Enquirer, or the Nat Enquirer searching out the story by watching the goings on around Sgt Allen’s office building doors?
Maybe Skye is the one who is trying to help her sister by bringing this public and did the wrong move with the Enquirer? If River is not well, she is going to need things other than this publicity, and maybe she needs her money more than George does now. (we know the Anthony’s do not ever give back what they steal).
How can Brad Conway represent George without conflict of interest? Unless this was a ‘joint defense’ plan and both Cindy and George were involved.

OK. The foundation receives donations. Tax free. Donations are ‘given’ to someone with brain cancer or seizures or a person ‘in need’ (cry me a RIVER). Those funds are then given back to the ‘someone’ (minus a little kickback on the side toward the donee). This is called laundering. Money. It’s done all of the time in these situations. Very few get caught.
ok, i have always hated Casey, but watching these old tapes tonite, i wonder if this was an intricate plan, when the baby ended up dead, to get them all off. Casey either is such a sociopath, or her family has her totally under their conrol right now. Really, look, she is a teen, seems really p.o’d at her family….there is a lot of shit coming out right now. I may be naive, but i really do think there is reasonable doubt…she may get off. You know, if someone wants to discredit Sgt. Allen’s work on this, discredit the witness by seeking the Nat’l Enquirer on them, so Brad Conway can then do his thing in the media, to say the Nat Enquirer contacted him first, therefore the people involved are discredited. We don’t know how the Nat. Enquirer got the tip, but would it be beyond Baez to have that done himself? He’s the one with something to gain by the media running with this right now.
To this week’s hearing, here’s a look at Baez’s past arguments, with Casey’s sworn statements about sources of income, and Casey’s sworn and hand written point that she believes Mr. Ashton is angry because she wouldn’t take a plea deal for a crime she says did not commit.
Will Baez prepare for Thursday by playing his same old arguments and blame game? Will be interesting– Thursday’s hearing. Will the hearing reveal the source of funds and the details of how the money was managed by Baez?

I watched these tapes again tonight vewy closely and again I watched george and cindy talking with Casey.
I STILL think they were trying to get where Caylee was from her and were in denial that she was dead. They are VERY frustrated with her unlike the call that Cindy was putting words and things in Caseys mouth. I personally think that her parents know what she did but dont want to accept it as FACT as maybe, just maybe they NEED to see this trial in order to realis what REALLY happened to their grandaughter. THEN again this stuff that they are keeping secret has got to be something that is SHUTTING THEM ALL (and I mean ALL) of them up…
maybe it is the prints!? maybe it is the daddy of Caylee with all of the DNA profiles coming out? Maybe the transcripts from Mark Hawkins, Mallory and a couple other names and of course lets notice that the state has not publicly released Dominic Caseys depositions or “investigative” report….. so many questions, so much time and Blink, I SOOOO hope you know something that we don’t about Jose to get taken off this case, any hints that you can devulge?
Honestly, until the realization that Casey’s case has a greater risk of being overturned on appeal than finding a new Floridian Attorney, I think the general consensus has been she could do worse, let’s not delay this any longer.

Like I have said before, I was a teen mother..I was 17. My child did not end up dead at the end of my street. I had to quit being a kid and my mother was there for support..she did not raise my child. Casey and her family are just plain messed up and Caylee paid the price for it.

Blink makes an excellent point, Thursday’s hearing is what it’s about right now– critical to the state’s funding, keeping status quo and risking appeals, the issue of public defender, giving Casey free reign to run her team to continue as they’ve been doing, not only can risk an appeal and all that time and prosecutor’s office/states costs, but double the trial costs if there’s an appeal and Casey’s defense has to be paid TWICE, their costs paid twice, their experts paid twice. And what if the attorney is replaced after one trial because of his buffoonery and incompetence, which may sorely be revealed to his client in his ability to even put an argument together effectively, nevermind be able to keep the jury with him. The costs won’t be double from that point on, someone will have to come up to speed and be paid to do so (that makes much of the money spent to date on travel to Rockerfeller Square and expert gathering, worthless, and Baez’s hours in learning his own case, a waste).
Casey needs a competent lead attorney to carry this forward and he needs to administer the costs of the case with transparency, not with creative non-lies and stories of wealthy benefactors from New England and deals with media to help his golden goose.
What is shocking is that not one media outlet has yet been recorded by now, as picking up the document filed by the JAC– not one transaction shows that anyone other than CMA herself, has picked up anything since the 12th.
Why has no one picked up the RESPONSE filed on the 15th for this weeks hearing with arguments why the JAC thinks it should be allowed to participate?? (redundant Q– ans: River Cruz)

One ‘fact’ was Casey’s blame game with her accusation of an ‘angry’ Jeff Ashton, well this week it will not just be Jeff Ashton who Casey can call ‘angry’, she will have the JAC committee representative to blame as angry because she wants what she wants. Interesting how Casey blames others for being ‘angry’ with her, that might be the one emotion she has expertise with.
Well, the circus continues. I guess we will have to wait and see if wftv has the goods otherwise it would be he said she said wouldnt it. And I am wondering what “the other shoe will drop soon” means. But we do have that great article of Blink’s that talks about George and his shopping for dates etc. That ties in. To me anything that Blink writes about zeroes in on the true facts and puts this case in real perspective. I hope our Judge Strickland reads Blink’s articles.
What if it WERE an accident–duct tape and all and EVERYONE was involved from the attorneys to the Anthonys to money laundering, to money gathering to the Kidfinders foundation and encompassing not only Caylee’s death but all the criminal activity going on. Okay, there is something that I have thought way back from day one, and never wanted to ask. But now that I have read all this information about George and his sexual habits, etc., I am convinced that my initial thoughts were correct. And, I’m wondering if anyone else out there thinks that George Anthony is the BIO dad of Caylee? Perhaps this was the main contention of their attempted divorce in 2005 (which by the way was when Caylee was born). Anyone?
martha, if this were an accident, it’s still a big-time scam of the public and public confidence in missing persons charities and in organizations such as TES, isn’t it? Because they knew the child was dead before Thanksgiving, if the information bears out.
WFTV said on their video from yesterday, that there would be more revealed that evening, more photos and statements about what George had to say about a fight with Casey. Nothing yet on that, could they be holding off for some reason? The story is not even a headliner now.
Let’s get the 5 page response by the funding committee re: Casey’s push for moula and see what they are so concerned about!

Charlotte, I can safely answer for Blink, and the answer is an unequivocal ‘no’.
Where did River Cruz get her tattoos? Same place as Casey? Why is there the impression that she and Kalani were friends of ‘Casey’– that’s what Kalani was crying about (well, being emotional with his eyes all blocked from view by those Casey sunglasses so we cant’ really see tears). Could the tat-shop be a connection? Casey would have chatted up other customers as well as staff there, she never stopped talking, so people have said.

UGH!! I’m so frustrated. I’m hearing so many comments … what if it were an accident?? What if the Anthony’s knew from the get go?… What if Casey really is innocent?… and other assorted theories that have already been debunked are getting rehashed. This is EXACTLY the reaction the defense is counting on. They want the focus everywhere else other than where the focus needs to be which is on “THE MONEY!” If people would just step back and think about every other time there has been some bogus or unimportant bull caca strewed about, the ones percipitating the doo are the defense team, the Anthony’s and their supporters. They want us to think about ANYTHING other than the root of the issue and the roots we need to be thinking about right now are the green backs!!

Sage, I feel your anger and frustration and I agree. Who the hell cares whether George Anthony had an affair? After the initial surprise we all grew suspicious of it anyway. The real story is what is going to happen on Thursday. The rest is just nonsense and could very likely been orchestrated by Baez or Lyon although I can’t believe anyone would fall for the accident theory at this stage of the game. It’s just silly. Never mind the duct tape sealing her airways accidentally, if it was an accident we would have heard about it looooooong before now.

What is an ‘alias’? Really– is a nickname an alias, like ‘Jo jo’ or ‘Ce Ce’, or Casey-O-Marie? River Cruz, yeah some people do name their kids strangely, and she’s the right era for those back to nature names and she did use the name at the police reception area.
Is an ‘avatar name’ an alias? I think of an alias as a name that is represented as the person’s ‘real’ name identifier, such as Todd Black.
I bet whatever has come this week, George was in the know, so was Cindy, and Brad was prepared, they are all joint defense.
My question relates to the indigency hearing ‘facts’– WHO, WHEN, HOW, were these two woman, Kalani and other ‘plants’ surrounding the case/home from early on for a purpose, PAID?? (In money OR in kind, like legal advice/services etc).

When reporters from sister station Channel 9 asked Casey’s mother Cindy Anthony if Ortiz is Caylee’s father, Cindy issued denials as she ducked into her SUV.
“No, I dont even know who he is. I don’t know who that person is.”
Ortiz’s blood was taken for an toxicology test, and the lab has informed investigators that they still have his blood. Investigators are hoping to test it to find out if he is indeed the father of the missing toddler.

Charlotte, I look absolutely nothing like my Mom – and I assure you 100% she was my Mom. In fact my brother has brown hair/hazel eyey, my sister is a blond with blue eyes and I am brunette with brown eyes. Not really any family resemblance (except our ears and noses) Basic genetics 101. You cannot always tell by looking at someone (especially a toddler versus against an adult) who they are related to. Come on.
What puzzles me is this. If this story is false than why was it posted here, thats not like Blink to do that. AND if its false didn’t Kathy Belich check her sources for credibility? Could GA sue Kathy Belich over something like this?

AND after reading that, I would like to revise my freaked out statement that Caylee’s death was an accident. With all the information we have available how could it be. But I am adding that I still think all were involved in a coverup for Casey and to scam money from people, even money laundering etc. Like some have stated that money could have changed hands from the “Foundation” to launder it. You and Blink both help us see the writing on the wall. I feel better. Thought I was losing my mind.
I agree with Annette that we should focus on Thursday or else, the defense has gotten exactly what they set out to do. I, also, do not believe in any way, shape or form, that an ‘accident’ is what led to this baby’s death. Even discussing the possibility, plays into the defenses’ hands. George probably did tell River that Caylee’s death was an ‘accident’, but good grief, I can’t imagine that he would ever tell her that his daughter killed his grandchild. Dr. Lillian Glass has posted on her website that River is telling the truth…..an interesting read for those who would like to check it out.
Brad Conway stated on WESH that he was first contacted about the news of the affair from Nat’l Enquirer, but WFTV says
WFTV asked George Anthony’s lawyer about the issue and he said he’s not received any information from investigators about it. Also, he would not answer any direct questions about whether George had an affair with the woman, but he did not deny that it happened.
This was last Friday. I don’t believe that Mr. Conway knew anything about it when contacted by WFTV. I think they are just scrambling right now.
Don’t know if this I believe the story, but am more concerned with the squirreling away of the money and it would not surprise me that George would state that it was an accident. Myself, don’t believe that for a minute but hopefully Justice for Caylee will prevail and this circus will come to an end.
Since both the Anthony’s and the defense have been so quiet lately, I believe that they know the house of cards is tumbling down. Did anyone notice how nervous Baez was at the fraud hearing. Not his usual arrogant self!!

HI Cindee from Wisconsin. Blink wouldn’t publish a false story and I never thought story is false. I just questioned why this woman’s sister was posting comments on all the blogs I read. Like Blink said, OSCO had questioned her and gotten the information from her. Why put yourself out there? Nobody believes what the Ants say. We all know they are liars. I would only ask if she and George came together because of Caylee, it would seem she would owe Caylee the respect of at least coming forward to LE and telling them, “Look George is saying Caylee is dead because of this accident that snowballed and he said it when the Ants were offering up fake sitings of Caylee and taking in donations to search for a live Caylee when they knew in fact she was deceased.” If this lady had done this, then I would know her heart was pure and for Caylee. It truly is bad that scammer George took her for $5000. Lesson learned. People should be very careful who they choose as their friends. Plus, if he’s cheating on his wife, he’ll cheat on you too.
