Mom of 3, maybe the tattoo progression was a necessity to fit ‘suspects’ to the description after the fact.

  2. bluewillow says:

Kleat, that was a fascinating look back at that interview and Casey’s phone conversation with Christina. So much has come out since then, it’s even more disgusting listening to Casey’s words now than it was back then.

  3. Sweet Jane says:

In Casey’s first Police interview (here’s the link)
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94gy86c1KCE

    Jump ahead to 9:15

She says Caylee has a small birthmark on her left shoulder.

Casey’s tattoo is in the same place.

It’s something I never really noticed in the tapes before.

  4. Kleat says:

Yeah, I didn’t like posting that huge paste of Kristina’s conversation, but reading it and listening at the same time, revealed just how manipulative Casey is. I also didn’t know much about Kristina beyond this, and what was said about she and Casey going for a walk in the park on the weekend of or before, Caylee’s disappearance.

Apparently it’s Kristina with a ‘K’. Find it odd that there has been no interview with LE revealed? Maybe Kristina was the core idea of the ‘nanny’ for Casey. It would be interesting to do a comparison of the descriptions and how these have morphed to what we see today is new ideas put out in the media (jury pool) to describe a Zenaida Zani nanny person with tattoos, Cindy’s publication via Morgan and Morgan’s depo, about his client’s ‘gang’ tattoo, and now, two Hispanic women with some attributes of the ‘Zani’ nanny kidnapper, come forward and we see them at Caylee’s memorial.

It is obvious that Baez had access to Kristina, probably directly at the Anthony home, but certainly, from Casey and her family. Did Kristina have first hand experience with Casey’s lies and stealing as Ryan Pasley did? Did Cindy warn her off speaking to Casey at all as she did with Ryan, ‘to protect him’? Did Kristina share her stories about Casey’s actions to allow Cindy to compare notes, just as Cindy did with Ryan?

That would put Ryan in Casey’s bad books (and maybe why Casey called Ryan, got her lawyer to call Ryan to feel out his attitude towards Casey), was Kristina in the same position? Or was Kristina another Annie D, working for Casey, being deceptive along with Casey and Cindy?

Did Kristina leave the country at all in the summer of 2008?

  5. Kleat says:

There was some speculation I read about why Casey chose a Hispanic description for her nanny. Some speculated that because Casey and others said Cindy hated Hispanics, that this was a jab at Cindy by Casey. Could be, but maybe Casey figured it would be easier for Cindy, to buy the story of a bad nanny person, if she were not white like Kristina, not a friend from school, like Kristina– fits with the ‘she’s from all over the country, moves around a lot’ idea. Easier to keep Cindy from needing to go drop by for a cup of Evian with Zani.

  6. Kleat says:

Sweet Jane, yes, noticed that at the time. Also, the missing star center of the three stars, gone like the birthmark.

  7. Kleat says:

At thehinkymeter on misc topics 6 comments page, Maura has posted and helped me with an overview of the Kristina information. That answers a lot of my questions. (thanks again, Maura!)

Maura is sensational with detail in this case. Your welcome to link it Kleat-

  8. Mom3.0 says:

Kleat- Yes I agree that would make sense especially for those who believe Casey never lied -her words were just misconstrued….

  9. Sweet Jane says:

Going back to where it all started
More of Casey’s first police interview..

    (Part 1)
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OI9UxXgLAd8

Jeff, supposedly left Universal 9 or 10 months prior to this interview.
So that puts Caylee back at just turning 2.
“Zack” who was already a tot and Caylee who was a baby were already friends who played together?
If you listen to this, I mean really listen, you can tell it’s an on the spot bullshit story that wasn’t thought out before she told it.

So “Zanny” was already watching “Zack” when Casey met her 4 years ago, and started watching Caylee almost 2 years ago, and “Zack” and Caylee were the same age and friends even tho Caylee was a new born almost two years ago and Casey met “Zanny” almost 4 years ago?
Why would “Jeff” from work introduce Casey to “Zanny” almost 4 years ago, before Casey even had Caylee, and during the same time Casey was denying even being pregnant?
So Casey was friends with Zanny but it was Jeff who got Zanny to babysit for Caylee?

    Huh? What??

  10. martha says:

Sweet Jane–good comment. I agree Huh? What? No need for a nanny 4 years ago. No child. I hadnt thought of that. But it seems Casey and all of the A’s are good at those on the fly bs explanations. Also bringing up Caylee’s age emphasizes that up until her death, she really wasnt talking. She was just a guy magnet for Casey if that could be something that would bring Casey attention—being the mother of a cute baby. But Casey was well aware I am sure that the days of Caylee not saying what they did every day was coming to an end—screams premeditation here too.

  11. Kleat says:

Well someone had to do it! Ms. Joy Wray was invited to be on blogtalk radio last night, the podcast is up. She wouldn’t talk to police openly without her lawyer present in the last docs released, but she goes on radio and no indications of Mr. Mark O’Mara at her side. Joy talked about Mr. M0NT (well, it wasn’t MORT in her words and spelling), geeze hasn’t she seen the videos of the ex’s?? She doesn’t get it, nothing much new in her in her Q and A’s, she cleared up some things, thank goodness, like she never did or said some of the things she did and said, like being a spy, or PI, but she does know Pres. Bush ‘aquainted’ was her word. Seems the only use she has to the defense, is a possible suspect or possible disruption of the crime scene, if anything at all, plus of course, her saying that Roy Kronk was a suspicious person hanging around the woods, that he maybe didn’t kill Caylee but he did have something to do with it, did move her body around, didn’t know his motives, but maybe money. Oh yes, and after the October November no body at those woods, it was mucky (nice slip about the conditions on the ground, Joy) and then from no smell at all in those times, there was the ‘worst smell she’d ever smelled in her life’ after that. And she’s still writing her book.

After that, Dr. Glass and Pat Brown went head to head on the River Cruz interpretation.

I hope Roy Kronk’s lawyer, if it’s still Mr. David Evans, got a listen to Joy last night and does something to stop her from continuing to blame Kronk in Caylee’s murder and moving her body.

Some talk about Cindy, about George, by the guests, Art Harris, Dr. Glass and Pat Brown.

(link to Levi’s show, and find last night’s date)

  12. Kleat says:

JW consistent with her inconsistency. She’s not a good liar.

  13. Kleat says:

WAIT, was it MORK that JW spoke to??? Nanu Nanu!! \\ //

  15. Kleat says:

Blink, one question. What’s your theory about Kio changing her story about Casey calling her in July 2008 to ask a favour as she needed about 150-200 dollars and later Kio changing this to a loopy story about Casey not being Casey Anthony at all, and instead of a baby in the background of the call with a child’s tv program playing, it became a past Universal African American friend of hers, who lived behind a fantasy castle, who had a daughter named Abby, and who had a boyfriend who was beating her? Money needed by this ‘Casey’ Williams and then no phone answer so Kio could not find out how to get to her location to deliver the money.

Is Kio alright, or is she creating a cover story when someone told her that Casey didn’t need anyone helping her prove Caylee was with her during July?

Or is she so gullible, that she could be convinced that one call didn’t happen, another call did, and that someone she met years before, was her ‘friend’ and someone she needed to loan money to, so she could leave a boyfriend and get back to her mom out of state, like Georgia etc?

I do think she just got her Casey’s confused.

  16. martha says:

Reading back at Christina’s and Casey’s jail house comments. I know everyone knows absolutely is one of Casey’s fav words along with F### I suppose. But has anyone noticed when she is lying she uses words like Honey and Baby. After she has yelled at someone and lied she comes back with Honey—–like she is trying to respond appropriately to the other person’s comments and since she doesnt know how she throws in that Honey or Baby thing. Total pyscho with no moral compass.

  17. Kleat says:

Thanks, Blink. Do you know what the phone number turned out to reveal? It’s listed as a land line in Orlando with info available for a price by Intelius. Funny she wouldn’t know where to get to the Casey who wanted money to give it to her, yet she was thinking Casey Anthony, and knows Hopespring and the area very well so she’d know how to get to Casey A. Just weird.

  18. Bees Knees says:

Blink, are you moving? Hinky is, too. It must be a spring thing.

‘K ~ I’m off to find the podcast for a listen. I feel badly for JW but so far I can’t seem to stop myself from looking/reading.
    Not moving.

  19. joan (pgh) says:

I love reading the comments here because it really makes me analyze what we’ve been shown. And all of you amaze me with how you’ve really studied things. I don’t comment very frequently …but I had some thoughts that I wanted to share ….as well as an ongoing, nagging question.

    1) Martha at 3/9 – 4:27 pm. Yes, Casey patronizes with the honeys, sweeties etc. just as Cindy does – when she’s not being beliigerent.
    2) Also – has anyone noticed how Casey vents – then realizes how what she has said sounds, and then tries to do a verbal “correction”?? Like with Kristina (or is it Christina?? – I’ve never seen any transcript from an interview). When Casey is really mad the first night she is arrested and calls home. In speaking to Kristina (who is beside herself with panic), Casey states “All anyone is focused on is finding Caylee” – which of course is her gut “selfish” remark because at this point she already knows Caylee is dead …and Casey is always the center of Casey’s universe…Then realizing how bad that statement sounds, she then states “And of course that’s my main focus too” NOT!! Her only focus that night on that phone call from jail was to get Tony’s number ….There are also a number of examples like this in the jailhouse videos of Cindy and George’s visits.
    3) Did anyone read the Richard Creque transcript?? It is mind-numbing of how close TES got to finding Caylee in September. Creque is a volunteer on the TES searches who worked in Medical Examiner’s office and at a mortuary. Brett Reilly referred to him as “cadaver dog” …because Creque said he smelled human decomp in the area where Caylee was ultimatley found …but this was in Sept 5th-6th. And the smell came and went as the wind shifter course. Creque even marked on a map that the area he indicated had to be re-canvassed when the water got lower.
    4) Kristina too alerted several people that the area where the kids “buried their pets” would be a prime area to look. And how breath-taking that Casey put Caylee in the same mindset of a “pet.”

And one thing that I still can’t get my arms around:
Does anyone think that Casey actually stayed in the house on the night of the June 15th to June 16th, 2008?? I mean both Casey and Cindy are drama queens …I cannot believe that- if there was a fight that night that escalated to Cindy trying to choke Casey (and I do believe this happened)..that Casey would stay in the house. I really think her personality was more towards storming out the door with Caylee in tow… She probably tried to call Tony to come over …but she had Caylee with her. At this point, Caylee was probably vocal enough to say to Casey “I wanna go home to CeCe and JoJo” ….the still seething anger at Cindy and now Caylee innocently wanting to “go home” probably put Casey over the top…I don’t understand enough about cell phone pings to figure out if she could have been lurking nearby waiting until Cindy and George went off to work. But I do believe that at some point between midnight and Monday afternoon when Casey went off with Tony to rent videos and get pizza …Caylee was already dead and in the trunk of the car. And the videos Casey chose probably served as her “research” into what to do with the body. I still think too that with the right attorney (Terry Lenamon -sp?) …she could have pleaded to involuntary manslaughter (or whatever) …but of course, she would have had to plead to guilt ….and no one in that family is good in the “fessing up” arena.
Blink, Klaet, Sweet Jane, WSH, anyone on this blog, your thoughts???

  20. Kleat says:

Yes Blink, but it just doesn’t sit well with me that the call from Casey A. also did not happen at some time in the past, as Kio described. I agree that Kio was confusing her Caseys, Kio seems bright, helpful with things together in her life, family and work.

  21. Heidi says:

BLINK, QUICK! WATCH THE FOLLOWING INTERVIEW DATED 08-06-08 @ 6:49. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cHMNxkI4iMk&feature=related
Cindy is not as bright was she realizes. This interview reveals a lot of truth(s) that have come to light in the present. I am without a doubt certain the Anthony’s were busy obstructing justice from day one. Cindy would rather fight than switch. NO BODY, NO CRIME, NO FINGERPRINTS, WRONG HAIR BRUSH ETC.

  22. Sweet Jane says:

“ummmm” “ya know” “ummmm” “ya know” “ummmm” “ya know”

It’s something Cindy does to stall for time when ummmm, ya know, she’s ummmm, ya know, lieing..

  23. Kleat says:

Heidi, you are right, Cindy blurted out the exact defense plan that has since unfolded. Cindy was clearly preparing for a defense of Casey in the death of the baby, this statement makes no sense otherwise.

Quote Cindy Anthony AUGUST 6th, 2008

“…because if we could prove that something happened to Caylee after Casey was taken into custody, then everybody’s to blame. So I don’t wanna go there at that point.”

(the whole blame someone else game was set in motion but this slip was a major one….)

  24. Kleat says:

And, what loving grandparent’s worst fear in this situation, would be that everyone in the media would be to blame? The worst fear should be for the child’s well being, comfort and safety, not worry about blaming others if they can prove in the future, the worst happened.

You know, Cindy is quite the wannabe lawyer, isn’t she? Right from the start.

“there’s *no evidence* that she is dead…”

“and if that points a finger at my daughter and *they have concrete proof* and *not circumstantial evidence*…”

“…willful child neglect, which *they can’t prove* either…”

“I can’t disclose that or I will tip our hand…”

She has nothing to do with truth or genuineness. It’s all about winning the case.

“…if we could prove that something happened to caylee after casey’s taken into custody…”

Oh, yeah, I think she did just ‘tip her hand’ didn’t she.

What a manipulative, scheming, conniving woman! No wonder Casey turned out the way she did.

  26. Sdb says:

“If we can prove that something happened to Caylee after Casey was in custody then everybody is to blame” per Cindy in August of ’08. You’re right Heidi, day one.

  27. Sweet Jane says:

    Yeah, joan (pgh)

I think she stormed out of the house that night, with Caylee and the Winnie the Pooh blanket. (the one found with the remains)

  28. Kleat says:

Blink, to that motion to once again try to get TES records filed in November, Judge Strickland didn’t slap Mr. Baez’s hand, he gave him a hearing on the matter– again.

Could that be so that a real lead lawyer can argue the motion to give the client no appeal excuses? Or will this really stand a chance of succeeding next Monday?

I suppose the judge will take care of any motion to seal the 50 letters at the same time, as the 15 days will be up for the defense to file any such motion before the end of this week.

  29. Joan (Canada) says:

WFTV is announcing that a hearing will be held on Monday, May 5, 2010 for the motion on Equuasearch. In the motion they name Joe Jordan and Laura Buchanan. If I’m not mistaken didn’t Blink say that in 2009 she was Director on the board of Kidfinders.

Mr. Nejames is not one to back down, so it should be good.

  30. raceyrin says:

The neighbor said Cindy left the residence that night after the fight… I wonder if LE ever looked into local gas stations and stores to see if Cindy was caught on video buying smokes or anything for that matter ???

  31. Kleat says:

Let’s say TES wins the right to keep it’s records private, except as related to actual searchers in the area, etc.

Will the defense be allowed to tell the jury at trial, that they lost the motion to get records necessary for their client’s defense?

One thing also, is the timing of this motion filing as related to the hearing date. The defense was already in a bit of an upheaval, with Todd Mac, there was the Christmas season to take up time, and other normal delays. But it seems that Judge Strickland and the defense, did not push for setting a hearing on the matter earlier than has happened. Obviously the defense had to get the one shoe back on their horse, that was critical given that they had a bit of an experience problem, they had mitigation for the dp started with excellent resources, but they had no defense yet.

What I wonder is, especially given Judge Strickland’s comments of ‘what took you so long?” to Mason, is that he felt that the non-Florida component of the defense, and Baez, had not given a good enough swing at the TES records by failures in arguements. Was Strickland seeing a hole in Baez’s team’s argumentation and was this part of the delay? (ie: come back when you get your work right, type thing, avoid redoing this in another trial?).

Did Strickland see a hole, even with ‘there has been some good lawyering today’ (paraphrasing) comment (ref to Jeff Ashton vs Andrea Lyon), and Judge Strickland’s direction to Baez ‘talk to Ms. Lyon’, and the little reveal of the chain of command and order of his underlings for everything to go through him (ie: comment that gee, if Jeff Ashton could just talk directly to Ms. Lyon, with Ms. Lyon’s noteable nodding to that suggestion).

Mr. Cheney Mason, according to his website and some other indications, is in a solitary practice and has apparently been primarily a solo practitioner throughout his career. He runs the show on his cases, he may be a team player, but his preference is to be in charge. Baez has had that role so far, but will this continue to be the case? Will Mr. Cheney Mason really have to go through Baez to get to Jeff Ashton to get back to Baez to get back to Mason?

  32. Mariann says:

Officer suspended for passing notes in jail…
    http://www.wesh.com/news/23017611/detail.html

  33. Heidi says:

Casey needs to fire Jose and let Mr. Mason take the lead. As much I dislike Mr. Mason, I can’t help but think both Judge Strickland and the SAO are relived to see the scales balanced for the jury. It will be a show-down like no other. Limited seating and extra duck tape will be required when tempers flair for a few key witnesses. I just hope Judge Strickland takes control of the court room at all times.

  34. Kleat says:

“Her defense team wrote in a request to the judge that the team found volunteers who weren’t on the list of 32 and did search the spot Caylee’s bones were found but noticed nothing unusual. That’s why the defense now wants access to all of EquuSearch’s records

In a written response filed in court today, Texas EquuSearch’s attorney, Mark NeJame, wrote that the defense team never came to his office to review the files on the 32 people. In October, NeJame’s office had the records hand delivered the material to the defense team, he said.

NeJame also disagrees with the defense that there were volunteers who searched the exact area. However, if the defense identifies some, Texas EquuSearch can show Strickland the documents on those searchers behind closed doors to determine if the material should be released.

The hearing is at 10 a.m. Monday.”

Same old, same old. I wonder if they will try to bring Buchanan, Jordan et al, into the courtroom. Will JW show up in the gallery seats once again?

  37. Pamela says:

I think these letter’s were meant to be found. I would bet a nickle that we are going to see the beginning of the defense strategy, and of who their real targets will be. George and Cindy.
I keep seeing the issue of Casey racking up charges on Cindy’s credit cards, but even if she did, I can’t possibly see the 45k figure being possible. WIth George and Cindy’s credit issues, I doubt that they could possibley have that high a limit on a card. Our credit is outstanding (not bragging, just comparing) and only our American Express would possibly be that much. I would never test it’s limits like that, and I haven’t checked our limits for years, but I don’t see a 45k limit as reasonable, for a working class family. If Casey had access to several cards with lower limits maybe, but even then your cash advance limits are considerably lower than your credit limits unless there are special circumstances that have been arranged with the credit card company.
Either way, I think the real issue stems from 2 main concerns for Cindy. 1st what she said in her “My Caylee is missing story” on July 3rd she knew that Caylee was being kept from her in a malicous way to teach Cindy a lesson about pushing Casey and 2nd, CIndy knew that Casey couldn’t possibly be properly caring for Caylee for that extended amount of time, and then when they retrieved the car, Cindy took some time to come to terms, but she knew then that Caylee was at the very least, in terrible trouble. It wasn’t until she got the car back and started cleaning it out that she made the extended effort to track Casey down. I have asserted before that I believe Cindy has always covered for Casey, I think she knew Casey wasn’t actually working, or she wouldn’t have been constantly hounding Casey by phone when Casey wasn’t at home. Cindy didn’t want George to know, maybe that was a condition of George coming back home, that Cindy and Casey and George not lie to each other, and everyone get a job. Cindy wanted the “image”of a perfect family, and didn’t want anyone messin’ with that “image”. When Casey’s pathetic lies began to come to light I believe Cindy figured out the truth, and began the cover up to protect her image, not Casey. Cindy could not be the mother of a girl who killed her own daughter in such a cold and caulous way. I am very certain that Cindy switched the story to Blanchard Park because she felt that LE couldn’t pick it apart like the Sawgrass apartment fiasco. Cindy also kept George in the dark, that is why he was the only one working with LE and Tim Miller, and I believe the day of his (played out) suicide attempt was the day he found out the truth about his lovely family. That is the day he realized that allowing Cindy to control their lives had produced a spawn from Hell, with Cindy’s control and rage issues, but no moral compass to keep them in check. I also am a mother and there is no attorney or video camera that would keep me from visiting my child in jail, no matter what they did. I wouldn’t have done the stupid things that Cindy and George did either, but that’s another rant. The fact that Casey won’t even look at her parents when she is in court but jokes and giggles with her attorney’s is very telling. Now these “letters” surface, we will soon find out that Casey has another card up her sleeve, and George or Cindy or both better duck, cause that big ole bus is gonna smack them right between their lying, conniving, snivelling, con artist, cruise takin, tattoo wearin, ashes jewelry makin, no good griftin, mortgage swindlin eyes. And I will be the first one to applaud the bus driver, Karma , when she nails them.

Unequivocally, these letters are about the defense setting up George and Cindy. As I stated a few weeks ago, Brad Conway is going to be a busy guy.
    B

  38. Pamela says:

Sorry for the rant. I’ll go back to reading now. LOL ;-)

  39. Kleat says:

How could the defense possibly know that Casey and the other inmate could find a way to communicate? If this is strategy, to have 50 letters found to be used in favour of Casey somehow, the defense would have to know that this could be done. If so, did the defense possibly aid in the scheme and talk this guard into helping, and if so, why would she do it?

Casey must have found a way to get the letters passed before the defense came up with a sure plan to use the scheme. And the defense must have known about the plan and that their client was passing letters through secret means. Not much different from the lawyers themselves, communicating in secret ways with letters back and forth from the family. Really, what is the difference except that lawyers aren’t paid by the jail, so can’t be disciplined by the jail?

  40. Kleat says:

Could Casey have been guided in her letter contents, suggested by the late night all night visits of her ‘mitigator’? Could she have had an advisor to assist with the mitigation in tactics that include the letter contents?

  41. Kleat says:

The defense might take a chance on the letters being sealed if they make that request to the court. They are being quiet, if this were the old defense, we’d see them Friday morning on CBS early show or NBC’s Today show, followed by Issues and Geraldo.

  42. Kleat says:

btw, the video mix-up on WFTV can not be an April Fools joke, as it’s now past morning, plus they have now changed from the monkey story to a serious story of another Disney vehicle death.

But they do have their link problems today.

  43. Kleat says:

If George and Cindy are in line to ‘save their daughter’ as martyrs in front of the rolling bus, they are in on the plan, so is Conway.

It strikes me as so sad, and sorry, that they could not have done an ‘nth’ of that effort to protect Caylee, but then that would have meant reining in Casey slightly, or getting help, giving control to authorities earlier on, taking professional advice. Too much for them to stand up for the baby against the priority, Ms. Casey.

  44. Kleat says:

Like Cindy said, Caylee belonged to Casey, she was her mother and could go and do what she liked. Caylee was a baby at risk, even with the three adults as her primary caregivers.

  45. Heidi says:

Revenge is all that Casey has left. If the baby was disposable, then why not go after her parents for all the wrong(s) they have dealt. These letters may have been a set-up to get Casey to talk, who knows. I remember George saying at Caylee’s funeral, “please write to Casey”…. what? Actually come to think of it… these letters are his fault for making the comment on National TV. WHAT GOES AROUND, COMES AROUND. Can’t wait to read those letters.

  46. Steadychick says:

Per Blink — “Unequivocally, these letters are about the defense setting up George and Cindy. As I stated a few weeks ago, Brad Conway is going to be a busy guy. B”

WOW, just WOW Blink! I’ve been wondering all along just how the defense could possibly present another theory, considering they would never put Casey on the stand. And here ya go — it appears they have figured out a way. Casey will speak through the letters leaked by the “jailhouse snitch”, never having to take the stand or be cross-examined.

  47. Heidi says:

Steadychick… good point. hmmmmmm never having to take the stand or be cross-examined.

  48. Pamela says:

  49. Bees Knees says:

I have suspected for months that the bus was headed in George and Cindy’s direction BUT I thought then, and still do today, that they are two very willing speed bumps, not at all unhappy as to their position. I really, really like your last two sentences Pamela and I’d love to see it played out as you described but I think they will gladly lay themselves down knowing that there’s absolutely no way anyone would convict either of them but it would be enough to create reasonable doubt.
