Orlando, FL– Yesterday, the defense team of Jose Baez, J. Cheney Mason and Andrea Lyon filed a motion to strike the Statement of Particulars including aggravating factors claiming that is does not list the States “facts” to support them. Team Baez is claiming that “may rely” does not meet the burden of the Steele citation used to compel the order from Judge Perry in the last hearing.

Baez_casey_lyon

In essence they would like state to kindly hand over their theories and work product, if you please-

Also filed by the defense, this time including Linda Kenney Baden, is a 49 page motion with exhibits for discovery from the Oak Ridge Laboratory otherwise known as The Body Farm.

It is within this motion, we learn something very new, and very critical to this case.

THERE IS A FRAGMENT OF A LATENT PRINT ON THE EXTERIOR TRUNK OF CASEY’S CAR.

According to Baden’s supplemental request, there are 18 latent fingerprint lifts, 8 areas of latent lifts developed via dye stain and one fragmented lift from the trunk. Wonder who they will belong to?

This morning, the State is releasing an additional 500 pages of discovery in the murder case against Casey Anthony.

It will be posted as it is received, check back to blinkoncrime.com for updates.

I truly believe she was in the A’s backyard initially, I know that is not a popular opinion, but it is mine.

B, that’s been my belief all along. I have no doubt Caylee had a temporary resting place in that back yard. ‘Unpopular opinion’ lends me to believe that it’s more about ‘fear’ of facing the truth. We’re talking about the disposal of a child. It was thoughless, hasty and disrespectful, to say the very least. It’s a frightening thought to consider. I support your opinion and add….those dogs found something.

Mom, no problem! I love the challenge of finding information, so I don’t mind the opportunity at all. I may have said this before, but my husband insists I’ve searched the entire net. I hit the end. Whatever.

I still believe you have incredible opinions that encourage me to think outside the box. Not just on BOC, but in my real life. Please don’t underestimate how you are affecting others with your contributions. It’s invaluable. Thank you for helping me become a better person, just by being who you are xo. I say that about many on this site. I’m still growing up at 42 (but I will always have the heart of a child).

My love and gratitude to all….and Blink, soldier on sista friend xo

  18. Mom3.0 says:

Ragdoll, you are very kind- thank you.

I don’t know if Caylee was buried at one time or not- I think that could be what happened, popular or not.

Blink, Does burial- speed up or does it slow decomposition?

    Warning Graphic:
Another thought of mine, is that there was decomp in the backyard because Casey washed of the shovel and whatever-else-her hands ect- with the hose. I always thought she may have borrowed the shovel to use as a lever-because she needed to unstick little Caylee’s body from the trunk liner-

But yes, I most definitely think Caylee might have spent some time in the back yard- maybe this is why Casey put her in more bags?- because the first one- after unearthing her- ripped, thereby spilling a minute amount of fluid, that the dogs alerted to later??

    Mom 3.0-

I wonder if you know how intuitive you are-

Burial, in the loose sense, may have a major impact on decomposition, amongst several other variables-

In the Floridian climate however, heat is the no.1 factor.

Dr. Haskell, imo, will be the most important witness for the state outside of Casey ( who will not testify) and Caylee ( who for obvious reasons, cannot) .

Blowfly cycles, adipocere, duct tape and weed barriers will tell the story nobody who claims to love this baby has the guts to-

    Sickening.

  20. Angela_nw says:

I think Caylee ended up in the trunk by 6/18 (KC’s car backed up in garage) and the decomp evidence suggested 2.5 days in the trunk, so she would have been out in the woods by the 20th-21st. I believe KC threw George’s gas cans at him around the 24th. So Caylee would have been gone by then. (I am responding to the theory that George saw laundry bag not clothes in the trunk). Good theory but I think Caylee was already in the woods.

Dee can I come to your villa? I lived in N Germany for 10 years, sure do feel wanderlust now (haven’t had a vacation in 6 yrs).

I was in Dusseldorf 2 years ago, it was extraordinary.

Though my professional life has yielded a great deal of travel experience, it was the first and only time I was at a hotel that lost power due to a serious electrical storm, and the first time I saw green lightening.

I ran daily along the Rhine and walked through Old Town. It had some of the most amazing sculptures I have ever seen.
    B

  21. dee says:

“wanderlust”….haha I was wandering in the Black forrest last week wandered in ULM yesterday….lets see where I wander today!

  22. ada says:

I have read at another site and I saw some things of interest that may have been posted before so in advance I apologize. From the discovery, they are black wool fibers on the three pieces of duct tape from the skull and Caylee’s doll only. On the duct tape, Caylee’s doll, the skull, the napkins from the trash and the trunk liner there is a blue cotton fiber. There is unconfirmed blood evidence on the laundry bag, the Winnie the Pooh blanket, napkins from the car and clothing at the crime scene.

  23. Mom3.0 says:

Thank you for your response Blink. You gave me so much more to think about, and I agree Dr. Haskell and his insect expertize are going to be paramount.

I know that inorder to carry on with their lives, The Anthony’s have to not focus on the horrors of what happened to their baby, granddaughter. I do not fault them for that. I heard Cindy’s dismay and anguish in those 911 calls, I saw anguish in her face and George’s face several times.

But yes, I agree, it is sickening that no one from this little one’s family, will speak out for her- to hear George and Cindy tell it- Casey never had an off moment, a bad day of mothering, never raised her voice, never made a mistake. We know, as mothers this can’t be true.

I understand that they are trying to save Casey from the death penalty. But this lying, and denial, and covering, was taking place long before the death penalty was an issue.

Do they not feel that Casey should be held accountable for lying to police, stealing, child neglect, not to mention the homicide and disposal of their innocent baby granddaughter, who was such an innocent soul, whom gave comfort and love to her great grandfather, when he needed it?
Can they not hear her still singing “You Are My Sunshine” My only sunshine? They IMO, have left her in that darkened swamp, never to see them, her sun again, and until they can face up to what Casey has done, and stand up for little Caylee, she is singing her heart out, and they refuse to listen.

  24. Mom3.0 says:

  26. NancyS says:

I would have to see it in a Nastrodamus book before I believe this nonsense?… lol who knows? and why take this long for it to come out? maybe send it to casey?

  27. dee says:

well chica that was interesting, I dont know much abotu Notradamus (?spelling) but weird to say the least

  28. marlene says:

I looked at the link chica had for the nostrodamus prediction and If I was going to interpret it (which of course I stink at it) I would have a different take on it. To me it says kc is innocent and she will be freed in 2010 because in august “the monster will confess and HIS …”

and I think kc did it….

  29. marlene says:

forgot to add I agree with NancyS

I would have to see it in the book too!

  30. dee says:

eeeeeeeeeeee wouldnt that be ugly if she got off…in my mind NOT EVER going to happen, Notra might be worng on this one…

  32. Muse says:

I enjoy entertaining Nostradamus prophecies, and while the Nostradamus prophecy is titillating, I think this is a hoax. Having read all of the Nostradamus quatrains, which you can do at nostradamus.org, I cannot find a single quatrain that says such a thing. If the quatrain is legitimate, they should be able to source it to Century and Quatrain number. In my opinion, even assuming such a quatrain existed, I think it’s a stretch to imagine that Casey Anthony would be important enough to even appear in Nostradamus’ crystal ball. Thanks for sharing, chica.

  33. dee says:

cause you know those foul azz A’s wont be…………eeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrr that makes me angry to say, but Caylee I haven’t forgotten you…my tears have been fallin for you today and they will until justice has been served…

  34. chica says:

    well my friends
that is why I wanted input! I have mixed feelings tooo.

  35. Sue says:

With or without Nostradamus’ prophecy, Casey is finally realizing that she may NOT get away with murder. Reality is setting in for her and I say she will plea. With so much evidence stacked against her, the only thing she has left is to save herself from the death penalty.

  36. NancyS says:

    Calm before the storm Blink?

  37. Thinker says:

We need to watch to see how the Defense attorney and the inmate choose to break the rules in today’s Hearing ….. will he show her texts and pictures and emails on his cell phone (again) … we he show her something from her mother, under the counsel table …. will he open Outlook email program on his laptop for her to read, and for him to type away during the Hearing (again) …. will he position his body and arm in front of the inmate so she can read the laptop screen without the camera seeing ….. will the inmate’s mother sit in the back benches and send texts to the lawyer’s cellphone and laptop for the inmate to read without the guards noticing that they are violating rules …….

    http://s439.photobucket.com/albums/qq120/cayleecross/?start=720

  38. Charlotte says:

Okay, I desperately need someone to help me understand this. How can the defense KEEP filing a motion to eliminate the death penalty. Hasn’t this new judge already ruled on that once? Are they allowed to keep bringing up the same thing time and time again until they finally get their way? I don’t understand this. Someone please help!!!!!

  39. Kleat says:

Has Casey just tripped and opened the door for appeal should she decide to later on? Accident or not, Mason successfully caught Judge Perry in a memory blip, and they got the go ahead WITHOUT Casey from Perry on today’s hearing WITH ARGUMENTS.

Has Judge Perry made a fatal error that will wreck his good record of almost no appeals on his decisions?

Casey can come and say ‘I should have been there, someone should have had a hand on my arm and done their job properly’ and I had no choice but to miss an important hearing with people arguing without my presence.

Judge Perry has not held off all of today’s judgements.

Great question Kleat, but I doubt highly Casey, having an alleged injury, missing a hearing reviewing mostly old, already adjudicated hearings will amount to an appellate issue ..

    One would hope..
    B

    Was this a Casey trick?

  40. Kleat says:

Well, it does leave the option available for her, doesn’t it! As the defense keeps saying ‘death is different’, so if there’s a crack, she’ll work her way through it, to be sure.

  41. Elizabeth says:

Actually Casey was well represented by two attorneys. I don’t think they can fool Judge Perry. He is sharp as a tack and if he felt a delay was needed..so be it.

Baez is not going to win this one with the Florida Constitution saying those visiting any inmate will be ordered to identify themselves with proper id and that information will be made public.

That is the law of the state. Defendents will not be able to appeal on that one.

I think the jail attorney really had mud on her face when Judge Perry asked her procedure for a visitor seeing an inmate. She had no idea.
I bet she will know by tomorrow but alas that is too late. I am pretty sure Judge Perry already knew the answers to the questions he put to her.

Where was Broadway George? Did Casey launch the final arrow in his back with the “stories” about him and Lee? Shame on her.

Cindy felt the power when Baez waltzed her outside to give her the news of Caseys fall. Oh to be on camera again. Go Cindy.

Two months of trial. Attorneys going over the same old thing. Will the judge be able to speed it along. Will Casey be able to sit through all that with nary a giggle or smile or look? Does Casey realize this is the big one. She might die?

    Time will tell.

  42. gracie34 says:

I don’t think her missing one hearing would give her grounds foe appeal. A few people saw this coming after JP reinforced the order that she had to appear for these kinds of hearings. Most thought though that she would try to pull a “sick day”. I don’t imagine JP will let her pull any stunts based on what we have seen from him so far.

I loved it when he basically told Baez et al “You have been working on this case for almost years – get moving”

In plainer English “What the hell have you been doing fr 2yrs and quit whining and get up off your butts and get it done.

  43. dee says:

Kleat or anyone, can you please in a nut shell explain what the illegally-obtained recording of the conversation between Joseph Jordan is all about, this is the first I have heard of this…TIA

  44. dee says:

    http://www.wftv.com/video/23758629/index.html

thank you Mr Chaney you answered my question, by the way this hearing is going and listening to the Defense, I do not think they have any plans for a plea, I believe they will go full steam until the very end!

  45. GRANDMOTHER OF 4 says:

I see that Casey’s Attorney will proceed in her defense but NOT with full potential they had when they recieved payment from her. They are not getting paid alot of motions filed, little time at the office for other clients this won’t last long, money has to come from somewhere to stay in business. I think if the State Attorney offered a plea deal she should take it. Or maybe Cindy will come offf of some more of the money she profited from POOR CAYLEE, CASEY’s defense would act like Attorney’s. All I see it WHINING ATTORNEY’S.

  46. dee says:

    Blink,

was this statement kind of a Freudian Slip?

Mason said “that someone else placed the remains in that area, but it does not mean Casey did not kill Caylee.”

By the sounds of it, Ole Show Boat doesn’t have much faith in his client.

Will this statement hang her or be cause for an appeal?????

  47. RubyRose says:

They are hoping for an acquittal based on their “all they have is circumstantial evidence” theory. I’m sure JB is reassuring KC she will be acquitted because the SA does not have enough solid evidence to convict. All the defense is doing is fishing for ways to poke holes in all the evidence (body farm). This will go to trial, the “junk science” will be admitted, there will be heated tempers, there will be a conviction. Take that Nostradamus!

  48. Theresa says:

I’m pretty sure Casey fell in the courthouse thus giving the judge and the attorneys time to talk to her before they took her for medical treatment. Wouldn’t they have asked her to waive her right to be there? I can’t see this being an appellate issue. Not that it would stop Baez from trying.

  49. Thinker says:

Mason says Casey KILLED CAYLEE (but somebody else involved, moved the body = REASONABLE DOUBT)

    http://www.wftv.com/video/23758968/index.html
    June 1, 2010 Hearing

Part 2 (4:50) Mason: “…. now that does not necessarily mean, as a matter of law, that she could not have killed this child, or been involved with it…”

emphasis on the matter of law is key here, he was claryfing there is no presumable exclusion to the fact. ie: physically and theoretically possible as it cannot be proven factually otherwise.
