Review The Cases In Succession staring with this re-release.  Volume II Publishes tomorrow.

Volume I

A man tormented by the guilt of murder will be a fugitive till death; let no one support him.

Proverbs 28:17

HatawayChrisTracy

As brought to you exclusively last Spring by blinkoncrime.com, the unsolved disappearances of Onda “Chris” George and Tracy Ocasio from Ocoee, FL had more than a few commonalities worthy of exploration.

For the last 9 months the blinkoncrime team has conducted hundreds of hours of witness interviews, investigation and research ending in one conclusion:

The disappearances and presumed murder of Tracy Ocasio and Chris George are linked.

In an exclusive 4 part Series as a continuation of our earlier coverage ,we learn how the fated paths of these individuals may have come to pass.

Onda “Chris” George

Chris2

Trouble began for Chris following the death of his Father in 1997. While he was handsome and charismatic, his lack of ability to cope with the loss found him turning to drugs and a seedier crowd than his siblings and Mother Rachael were comfortable with.

The advantages Chris had over his new peers did not seem to hold him back from spiraling into drug addiction and a few petty crimes.

While rehabilitative efforts worked mildly for periods at a time, it would seem Chris’s deamons would win this battle for now.

Chris was arrested for fencing stolen goods, grand theft auto and related charges and subsequently incarcerated in December 2003 for 4 years.

While in jail, Chris George had no shortage of connections to draw from when he was released on December 30, 2007.

The kind of connections that may have cost him his life.

Kenny KubeckKen Kubeck, was convicted of negligent vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of a crime in 2005. He negotiated a plea to only serve 2 years in prison and 15 years probation as long as he paid $900 per month in restitution to the children of his victims girlfriend.

Kubeck was alledgedly helping Chris start a vehicle detailing business after Chris was laid off from his job at Custom Metal Designs in January 2009.

Parris_Benjamin_Edwin

Ben Parris, a registered sex offender with convictions of posession and trafficking of meth, stolen property,  and other controlled substances.

Chris lived with Ben the first 3 months he was paroled.

It is believed that Chris purchased a 52” Television on his Sears card days before his disappearance and delivered it to Parris, but sources inside the investigation have confirmed to blinkoncrime.com that Parris has told investigators he does not have it ,nor did he receive it.

Jeremiah Hutto

Jeremiah B Hutto, a former aquaintance of Chris’s he had not seen since he was in jail. Chris mentioned to several people that he ran into Hutto at the Walmart in Wintergarden in January 2009, about a month after his release and initially confused him for his brother Paul. “JB” was paroled on felony battery charges 12/01/08 for his assault of Erica McHenry, who died in a car accident during the prosecution of the case and the state had to withdraw false imprisonment charges.

Paul Hutto Facebook

Paul Hutto, lookalike brother to Jeremiah, was involved in an altercation with Tracy Ocasio a few weeks before her death  which resulted in his arrest.

Paul, Jeremiah and Jimmy Hataway all worked for Anthony Zeddes Lakefront Clearing, Inc which was dissolved in September 2009 after only a year of operation for the Annual report. Lakefront Clearing was owned by Anthony Zeddes and Brandi Hutto.

Tylerwatters

Tyler Watters, was the last person Chris George was with prior to his disappearance. Watters has given inconsistent accounts of the last hours he spent with Chris. Watters was a friend and roomate of Jimmy Hataway

Lynn Easter

Lyn Johnston, was with Chris George for many hours leading into the morning of February 11, the day Chris  was last seen. Chris dropped Lyn off after telling several witnesses he believed they were being followed the prior evening. Immediately thereafter, Chris received a call from Jimmy Hataway to accompany him to Sun Resorts.

Biddle

Andrew Biddle, was incarcerated with Chris for charges of traffficking in stolen property, lying to a pawnbroker, grand theft and burglary. Although Andrew died of an overdose at his DeBary, FL home on February 7, 2009, an original death notice appeared online to indicate his home was in New Hampshire. Andrew’s viewing service was underway at Banfield Funeral Home during Chris’s last hours on February 11, 2009. Through marriage on his Mom’s side, Andrew is a member of the Hutto family.

HatawayBarGirls

James “Jimmy Hataway” was an associate of Chris George’s through the Huttos. He called Chris on behalf of himself, Watters, and two women whose identities I am intentionally withholding as witnesses in this case who have passed polygraph tests as to their knowledge in the cases of Chris George and Tracy Ocasio.

Through months of extensive interviews of friends, family, witnesses and mutual associates, blinkoncrime can confirm only three common associates that knew both Chris George and Tracy Ocasio at the times they went missing. Jimmy Hattaway and Jeremiah and Paul Hutto.

A Message From Chris George’s Mother:

Chris2

Blink– Many thanks to you and your team for not forgetting those that have met with tragedy.

Sometimes I’ve entertained the idea that if I knew the future I’d make some alterations to the script of my life. I can guarantee that to have my son go missing at the age of 28 at the hands of some twisted individual(s) that solves his ‘problems’ by murdering people is not even close to how my script would read.

Tragedy is not God’s desire, though he does allow it in our lives. For reasons that only God knows this tragedy has befallen Chris and ultimately his family and friends.

Chris’ case was compounded by the fact that he was on drugs at the time of his disappearance. In addition to the obvious detriment of being involved with drugs, I believe that involvement compromised his case as well. In my opinion, his disappearance wasn’t taken seriously by the authorities which resulted in a less than desirable investigation in the crucial initial stages.

When Tracy Ocasio went missing 15 weeks later and I learned that more than just a few similarities existed between the cases I couldn’t help but wonder if Chris’ case had been thoroughly investigated from the beginning that perhaps Tracy could have been spared. My concern now is…who’s next?

I followed closely all reports regarding Tracy as her story circulated through the media but unfortunately her case has stalled, just as Chris’ has.

For a variety of reasons I chose not to make any statements to the media regarding Chris’ case. The only reason that I am choosing to comment on your site is that you actually care about the cases, and the people involved in them, that you investigate. I did not want to take Chris’ story to a media that I felt was only concerned about sensationalizing a story to get more viewers, listeners and/or hits on their websites. I was concerned that Chris’ drug use and prior record would overshadow the fact that he was a victim of homicide. I strongly feel that regardless of his poor choices, no one had the right to take his life.

My only consolation is that God is in control and with or without media attention, and regardless of whether Chris’ case is ever ‘solved’, God knows where Chris is and at whose hands he was harmed.

My prayer is Proverbs 28:17 “A man tormented by the guilt of murder will be a fugitive till death; let no one support him.”

I firmly believe that, in addition to the killer(s), others know of Chris’ fate and could provide leads that would help solve not only his case but likely Tracy’s and possibly even other cases as well.

I can’t even begin to imagine the level of intimidation, fear and guilt that is keeping these people quiet…it must be unnerving to live under that pressure. I can only guess at the effect that can have on a person after days, weeks, months, years, decades…now there’s a script that would benefit from a revision.

However, I am fully aware that those that are keeping secrets could be just as degenerate as the actual killer and could easily choose to continue to protect the low life(s) that they are covering for and if that is the case…so be it.

I know that God is in control and is much more creative with His script writing than the killer(s) and/or those that know what took place that night.

May HIS will be done. –Rachael

Blink, very informative article. I thought it was great that you could click on “earlier coverage” in order to get up to date.

Whomever chose that proverb, I give them two thumbs up. Nice touch.

I have been a faithful reader for a long time, only posted once before, but I am moved to say “Welcome, Rachael!” You have truely found an incredibly caring and sincere group, here. I followed Tracy’s case, and Chris’, thru the tireless efforts of Blink and crew. The maddening frustration of a case that stalls makes me crazy, I can only imagine how you feel. Please, never give up…there are legions of supporters behind you!

PS Blink; you humble me with your dedication and determination.
    BRAVO!!!

    Ty.

The strength of character shown by Chris’s Mom and those that loved him is humbling.

  6. bottomline says:

Very very intereting reading as usual Blink. You never cease to amaze me with the thoroughness of your investigations. So another “connection” theme like so many of the others as you suspected early on. Seems to be a trend nowadays when you think of it. No more one on one crimes – is this what drugs has done to our society? Cases like Tracy, Christine, Morgan, Natalee, Caylee, Haleigh and countless others: SOMEONE KNOWS, BUT WON’T TALK….

If not for your reporting we would all be in the dark most of the time about these goings on. People do forget, but because of you and your followers, we don’t ever give up, forget, stop trying to solve or stop praying for any of these victims. What a great service you provide to people who care like yourself. Thank you for all you do, and bless your heart for encouraging us to help and care alongside you.

    TY.

We have 2 missing people with families that love them. We have 2 families that deserve answers and the ability to recover their loved one.

    God Bless Friend-

We remain committed to answers for Tracy and your family. Rachael George’s words about Tracy broke my heart, from one parent of a missing child to another- how y’all remain so generous in your grief…

Rachael, I feel your pain as well as your faith through your words. You and Tracy’s family have been and will continue to be in my prayers. I can’t even imagine…..

Blink, I believe Chris’ case was considered a run away by LE when he went missing. If so, has this mindset (hopefully) changed to foul play?

Also, can you give us an update on Hataway’s charges, incarceration, bond, etc. at this time? What’s the status on Hutto brothers?

    TIA

There is something really creepy that I just read and was hoping for some feedback on it please.I went to look at the link posted on #3 comment and read the article at The Kent news site.If you look at the only comment there, this person says,Jenn Kesse is not in Orlando Fl,shes nowhere in the US.Thats scary, what does that mean, and who would write something like that??

  10. diz says:

    Blink,
Reading Chris’ moms words gave me chills. I cannot image any pain greater than as a parent, to not know what has happened to your child. As a mother of two, I cannot allow my mind to even think about what those parents must be experiencing. May God hold them gently in His hands during this time of uncertainty and pain.
I have faith in my heart that you and your team will be able to uncover information that leads to finding these two missing young people, and that the person/s responsible are brought to the light. Thank you for all you do for these families. I will be waiting anxiously for the next post.

blink thank you for this updated information,it is so important, that chris’s mom set the record straight ,the rumors were his family had him hidden somewhere, that he was runnin from the law, that his family didnt really care ,from the moment i heard about him ,i knew that the stories were wrong, and i worried, what really happened.truly though, i have a feeling jimmy is responsible for tracy
s disappearence, and is involed in what happened to chris, all the other guys ,they are in the system, justice will works its way through this group.Rachael thank you so much for speaking ,yours words paint a much more positive aura for chris, that i had imagined.the words of a greiving mother help to heal us all. god bless

  12. FairWitness says:

Hi Blink; excellent synopsis. What a bunch of scum surrounding these cases. Illegal drugs are such a cancer on society. I can’t believe it’s been so damn long and still neither Chris, nor Tracy have been found.

There has to be more to this story. What’s up with law enforcement in Ocoee, anyway? At one time you discussed the numerous crimes committed by the Hutto brothers that were dismissed. Something’s rotten there.

To Rachael, please know your pain and suffering is felt by all here at Blink On Crime. God bless you, dear mother.

    Thanks Fair Witness-
As we review volumes 2-4, I fear your (our) frustration may grow. On paper, I don’t get it. I think Rachael’s words really say it all.

  13. mag603 says:

Wasn’t Hataway connected to Jennifer Kesse as well?

They frequented some of the same places, yes. It is in my earlier articles.

  14. bluewillow says:

I am deeply inspired by Rachael’s words. I hope that my faith can remain as steadfast if I am ever put to the test as she has been. My heart breaks for her as well as for Tracey’s and Jennifer’s families and I hope we will see some answers come out of this darkness soon. Blink, Godspeed, and be careful.

When I asked Rachael to make a statement for the piece and I read it, I was indescribably moved.

I truly believe her words will resonate with those wanting to “do the right thing” in this case.

I want to help her at least re-script the part of her life where her child is missing somewhere.

    B

  15. Bearlyhere says:

Rachael, I can feel the love you have for your son. God bless you and guide the hands of those who are helping you and your family. I really admire your attitude about God taking care of things. It prevents the/se murder/s from claiming yet another victim. There is a pervasive appalling attitude which includes having no respect for human life and a having a quest for the next drug as their guides through life. Every day of their lives that is their number one priority. It is a sad picture of too many people in our society.

Blink, thanks again for not letting the victim’s existence be over once their last breath has been taken. You and your team are amazing and appear to be everywhere. Your name is misleading, you never blink, your eyes are always wide open.

Thank you for your kind words. I continue to be humbled by the grace of families at their time of loss.

Chris George, according to those closest to him, had very many lovable qualities. He was “that guy” you looked at or spent time around when he was trying to keep clean that nobody would ever believe he hung around the likes of these people.

I need everyone’s help to bring him home to his family, as well as Tracy’s.

It is my belief that solving this case will bring both of them home.

    B

  16. Bearlyhere says:

You are right Blink, Tracy has been missing way too long.

Blink et al, have at it and may God guide your hands and eyes.

  17. jewel18 says:

Blink, Thank you and your team for continuing to investigate Chris’ case and not allow him or Tracy to be forgotten. I hope that your story makes the people that know something want to come forward so that Chris may be brought home and his killers brought to justice. I believe that finding one will lead you to the other and I pray that Chris and Tracy are soon found and returned to their families so that we may all find some peace and they can be laid to rest properly.

  18. Boz says:

Blink, since I work in the area where Jennifer Kesse disappeared, I see her beautiful face daily on posters still hanging here. Racheal is such a wise young woman, may we grow courage as women, like hers.

  23. ex gf says:

Rachael- I am not a parent and cannot imagine the pain you and your family is going through. You put your thoughts in such an elloquent manner. I can hardly believe your level of composure.

Your words are powerful but more importantly true. I have struggled with the idea of going to see Jimmy. He trusts me, I would know if he’s lying. However, at the request of my family (especially my father) and my current boyfriend combined with the fact that I know longer live in FL… I have not gone.

I do, however, continue to pray for all of the families involved and for the missing to be found. I cannot tell you how much my heart hurts for all of you.

Blink- Another great article but as usual in this case there are still too many questions and my frustration only grows. I look forward to the upcoming segments. Thank you again for all you are doing for the families.

  24. t.e.o. says:

ex gf Post #25- I’m Tracy Ocasio’s father….if you ever decide to go see Hataway and speak with him I ask you to please, please make contact with me and my wife Liz. I can tell you I know he has knowledge of her dissapearance but I prefer not to mention how. I’m hoping someday he finds it in his heart to tell us or someone else where we can find her.

If you can ever help us we would forever be grateful and even though you do not know us to trust us, I would never reveal how, where or who we got the information from. We just want to bring her home to give her a proper burial and at least have a place where I can go see her, talk to her and remember her….it’s all we got left.

    God Bless,
    Joe O.

Mr. O, My heart goes out to you and your family as you know.

I agree with you that Mr. Hataway has some knowledge, as I believe you also know I have personally appealed to Mr. Hataway to bring that information forward, privately.

I apologize I have not been able to complete the series on Tracy and Chris’s cases, I am scheduled to do so next week. You and your family continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.
    B

  25. t.e.o. says:

B, no need to apologize. Your work provides a vehicle for hope…hope that someday, someone reads something that triggers them to help us find our daughter and Rachael’s son Chris. Somehow I believe when we find one we’ll find the other as well, maybe even get lucky for once and find evidence that can leads us to the monster(s?) and coward(s?) that took them from us.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers….God Bless!
    Joe O.

We agree, I feel that strongly.

  26. ex gf says:

Mr. O. I will not be back in FL until Memorial Day weekend. I still feel in my heart that I should try. Although I do not know you, I trust you and will do all that I can to help. I also have to consider the feelings of my family and friends who want me to stay away from the entire scene. I know that you as a father, if you had the chance, would have kept Tracy FAR away from all of these people. I know you can understand that I struggle with what I feel may help and what my father, boyfriend, sister etc. advised and want.

I do however promise that if I go see Jimmy, I will contact you through either Tracy’s site or Blink’s site. Blink has my personal email and if you would like to contact me directly, I allow Blink to give it to you. You may already have it as I have posted on Tracy’s site as M.

Please keep in mind, I do not know many of the people involved, including your daughter. I lived in Lake Mary, FL and didn’t have much contact with Jimmy after we broke up. I moved to SC in June of 2006. I continue to think of and pray for you and your family.

  27. t.e.o. says:

To ex gf Post #28 – ex gf, I totally understand and respect how your family and friends feel about you trying to get involved. As a father I advise you that if in any way you feel your actions could bring you or your family harm now or in the future then you really need to stay away! We have already lost a daughter and I do not want to see anyone else’s daughter get hurt by this man ever again. You think you know this man but you might be totally wrong and you must consider that strongly. However if you do take that step and are able to get any information that could help us bring our daughter home, good or bad I ask you to please think of us!

I do not have your email address but will check on it. Blink also has my personal email address and I allow Blink to share it with you as well. I want to thank you for your kind words and your big heart!

    God Bless,
    Joe O.

  28. ex gf says:

Joe- Thank you for understanding my delema. I knew Jimmy years ago and as I’ve said in previous posts he started using cocaine toward the end of our relationship. I fully understand that drugs can change people. I’m either right about Jimmy or incredibly lucky.

I have also previously mentioned the eerie similarities between your daughter and myself. When Jimmy and I met I was around 130lbs, 5’4″, Auburn hair, Hazel eyes, I was in a bar (working), and I’m an avid sports fan. The difference is, I gave him a ride home and ended up dating him for 6 months. He never harmed me in anyway. The Jimmy I knew cooked, wrote poetry and wanted to become a translator for deaf children. I hope you can understand that it’s hard to see him as a monster.

I believe that he looks up to me for advice and desperately wants me to have a good opinion of him. I believe that I would be able to tell if he knows something just by looking in his eyes. I believe that if he had to look into my eyes it would be very hard for him to lie to me. But I also believe that his lawyers would advise him to talk to no one and he is smart enough to know that the conversation would be recorded.

I struggle with the fact that my face/name/family could be dragged into a media frenzy. They have already been in the bar we both used to work in and reporters were asking questions about me. An investigator in FL even called me about a different missing woman with no known connection to the case because my name is in the system. (I forwarded that information to Blink just in case). Then, to your comment, while I doubt Jimmy would ever come after me, I have a bad feeling about the other “characters” in this play.

All that said, my heart breaks for the families involved and I feel the need to try to help, even if it turns out to be useless. I will let you know IF I go see him, that is the only thing I can truly promise other than my prayers.
    M

To ex gf post #30 – Even if you do not come down I thank you very much for your kind words and caring. Sounds minor but little things such as your caring words in your posts helps us get by. I could not find your email but if you want to make contact with me directly email me at tracyO81@yahoo.com (thats a capital “O” not a zero). I created this email recently and if I hear from you I will give you my normal email address and delete this one as a precaution. Again PLEASE do not feel obligated to do something you might regret later. I further suggest if you decide to come down that you wait until after Rachel’s case is over as I think based on several witnesses that he will spend time in jail for his attack on her. This way at least you do not run a chance even if you think it is remote that he might come after you. I can also share with you why I think he’s involved with Tracy’s dissapearance.

    God Bless,

    All,
On Saturday May 8th the group “Search and Rescue of Central Florida” will be searching for Tracy again. The search willl consist of areas from the Taproom into Ocoee. It will also include a new search with metal detectors for her keys and id after a recent tip from person close to the case. I want to give thanks to the group in advance for their efforts and pray to God that they help us bring Tracy home and possibly find leads to help bring the person(s) responsible to justice.

God Bless you all for your words of encouragement….I pray this coming search will bring Tracy home, good or bad and give us the closure we seek.

    Thanks,

If you can’t find it, click on the related stories link above these comments. Or you can scroll up and on the left hand side under Tracy’s name there are individual links for the people involved.

  36. t.e.o. says:

The bad news is that yesterday’s search did not lead us to Tracy. The good news is that we have an area where several cadaver dogs hit on which we are going back to confirm either way. In addition we are concentrating our next efforts in areas where the Ocoee police was searching while James Hataway was nervous and looking at websites on how to commit suicide. Maybe he knew something back then and we were not paying attention.

I want to give thanks to all of the search and rescue members for their continued efforts and for giving us hope! I also want to thank Blink for providing awareness to our daughter’s case. Even though “the day after” has been extremely disappointing and the feeling of hopelessness is in our hearts today I assure you we’ll get over it and we’ll get focused again with finding our daughter and getting justice.

God Bless you all for your kind words and prayers.

    Joe Ocasio, Tracy’s father

  37. ex gf says:

Let’s hope the next search reveals something. When did they find out he was searching suicide? When they took his computer? They know it was the same time frame? That could really mean something!

  38. t.e.o. says:

Yes, it was right before they took his computer…might be a reach but worth going back to make sure….let’s hope it does lead to something!

  39. ex gf says:

When is volume 2 coming out? When is the next search for Tracy? Have they done any more searches for Chris after the initial search? Have police re-questioned the Hutto brothers?

I have had an enormous backlog, and will get to it as soon as I can. I listened to Mr. Ocasio on Dana’s show, where he stated that he was told the Hutto’s took and passed a lie detector test.

It is my understanding that they were asked to and refused.

  40. ex gf says:

Thank you, I’ll have to listen to the audio interview when I get a chance. I had a dream this weekend that J. Hutto (even though it looked nothing like him) called Tracy a B*@ch and seemed to know something. I also had a dream last night that I was helping in a search in a field with thin pine trees near water/marsh. There was tall grasses around the water. I was looking for Tracy’s parents so I could tell them I was there to help. There were about 30 people ready to search but I didn’t see Joe or Liz before I woke up.

Please note, I’m not psychic or claim to be. I do believe that dreams can mean something. Even if that something is just this case has been on my mind a lot.

Hataway has been named as a ‘suspect’ in Tracy’s disappearance. Very encouraging. I hope some leads will manifest in Jennifer’s case with this announcement.
