Caylee/Casey Anthony Case: Will Plumbing Emergency At The Anthony Home While Caylee Was Missing Produce New Evidence For The State?

When you have a family that both refuses to cooperate with Law Enforcement in a productive way, and in this editor’s opinion, outright obfuscates efforts to investigate the location of a victim and the circumstances to which Caylee Anthony became same,  we are forced to look at what I will term, available objective  data .

Analyzing data in conjunction with the verifiable evidence in this case, allows us, and eventually jurors, to better sift through the ever-changing accounts of those closest to Casey Anthony, without adding metaphorical dryer sheets to cover the smell.
As all www.blinkoncrime readers have known since my earliest coverage of this case, I have long stated it is my belief that the concern for Caylee’s welfare and whereabouts started with the Anthony’s backyard renovations the week of Cindy Anthony’s vacation over the fourth of July.

In fact, one might interpret Cindy Anthony hits her panic button during this time.

I have also written extensively that I believe that the defense team is going to intimate, if not outright accuse, George Anthony of culpability in the death of his own beloved granddaughter.
On Friday afternoon, following the conclusion of the last defense motions presumably prior to trial (insert laugh track) the state released additional video evidence to the defense.   As we brace ourselves to see video of Caylee with her Mother and Tony Lazarro having lunch, should we also prepare to see Cindy and George shopping for those backyard improvement supplies?

Or… Other?

Cindy Anthony’s bank records show 3 separate charges to The Home Depot posted June 30th.  As the purchases were made on Cindy’s check card, we can’t be sure if the purchases are made on June 29, June 30th or a combination of both.

Will we see the purchase of new gas cans, concrete mix, weed barrier, or something else?
Cindy or George Anthony began furiously calling her daughter’s cell phone, in the wee hours of July 1 at 1:43am.
Calls to Casey from the Anthony landline are made to her at 1:43, 1:51, 1:52, 2:02, 6:56, 7:33, and 7:50 AM.

Casey does not answer her cell phone, but she DOES check her voice mail after every one of them, and attempts unsuccessfully to reach someone at the Anthony home at 7:54 AM, possibly due to a busy signal.  This pattern of calls suggests an emergency of some kind, not Cindy checking if Casey was going to finally bring Caylee over as Cindy had requested.  In fact, there is a small break in the action, pun intended, when a different number is dialed from the Anthony home:

In no interview, in no deposition, will you find either Anthony disclosing the obvious plumbing nightmare necessitating 2 calls to Rainaldi Plumbing 4 minutes after their listed hours of operation in the yellow pages, and the subsequent service call resulting in a $283.96 bill.  Ironically, the check number, out of sequence, follows one Casey Anthony wrote on her Mom’s account in December

Spoiler Alert: The only reference to any plumbing emergency appears in one of Cindy’s letters to Casey, but two years after the July 1, 2008 incident.

..” I don’t know if Jeanene told you, about the water pipe we had broke on Friday, we had water from the pipe outside of Caylee’s room, leek into her room, mostly in her play corner- carpet was soaked and walls were damp.  Everything is drying out but the carpet smells bad. (I better watch how I describe it they may take it for discovery). It’s amazing how even clean water can smell rancid after it sits for a while.  Fortunately one of our church friends was able to come out and fix the pipe…”

Facing a capital murder charge, and already convicted of economic felony, it begs the question:

Why would a member of Jose Baez defense team, Jeanene Barrett, need to relay information to Casey about a broken pipe leaking into her deceased child’s room?

If you are thinking this is more “Anthony Code Speak”, you are not alone.  According to a blue print of the Anthony home, there is no plumbing on the outside wall of Caylee’s bedroom that would leak into the corner, the right lower corner or her “play corner” which abuts the outside wall.

As the bulk of “pipe bursts” or “breaks” go in Florida temperatures, in general they occur only through freezing, extreme temperatures, or water pressure stress (build up) of some kind. The source of the emergency plumbing call to Rainaldi on July 1st, 2008 is not known, but what is known, is that it gives new meaning to the signature of Casey’s inmate correspondence “FLUSH”.

What has always bothered me was what could have been found in either the backyard or now as we know, in the plumbing that would send Cindy Anthony into a clear and obvious panic, mobilizing Lee to track down his sister, and attempt to track down Caylee through her friends AFTER speaking with Casey.

George and Cindy Anthony’s versions of June 15th and June 16th 2008 have evolved it seems, after every new release of discovery.  Specifically, George’s account of the last time he saw Caylee and what she was wearing.  They have gone to painstaking lengths to establish that at least Caylee was home the evening of the 15th, and very much alive the morning of the 16th.

So where is the blue “dress” she wore to the Mount Dora Nursing home on Father’s Day, June 15th, 2008? It would seem to me if I wanted to establish an alibis, or timeline, that clothing would be critically important.

Is that what Casey meant when she uttered to Tracy Mclaughlin and Rob Dick that OCSO had no idea what they were doing and they had not even found her clothes yet?  Was she talking about Caylee’s clothes, or Mama’s?

This post HAS to either be a joke or from someone who is part of Casey’s circle! Who in the right mind could honestly believe the Casey is innocent? If I start to list all the reasons why that is too unbelievable, I could be here for a very, very long time. The shorter list would be listing anything that would show her innocence – shorter by a lot since it would have NOTHING on it.

    artgal,
Local news etc has been leaking info about Casey’s guilt since day one. Why are all the haters so shocked that there are plenty of ppl out there that believe they dont have the evidence to convict? Why? Because this is the worst investigation in history and they only focused on one person. :If you are upset with 48 hours, you should be just as upset with the local news in Florida,…Hypocrtital to say the least. Wake up.

ATG, Thanks for the plumbing info.

Is it known when the bags of concrete mix were purchased? I’m struggling with the cause-effect sequence of the patio extension, plumbing emergency, car abandonment/towing, and wee-hour calls to Casey. Especially trying to figure out if the patio extension was a response, a motivation, or a trigger to panic. Or more than one of those.

Blink, somehow the term “triple-bagged” really got me. Especially when I think of the partying pics contemporary with that time.

Mom3.0 – thanks for bringing me back to sanity!! I have been reading all the theories and thinking oh maybe they have a point but deep down I knew that Casey, and only Casey, was responsible for the death of this little girl. You only have to listen to Cindy’s 911 call, she could not have been ‘acting’. Whilst I despise both Cindy and George for since lying and trying to protect Casey, I am sure they are devastated at the loss of Caylee and horrified at the knowledge of knowing their daughter killed her. To see Casey going into Court without batting an eyelid, preening for the cameras and her fawning attorneys makes me physically sick to my stomach. Listen to the early phone calls between Casey and Lee and her friend (I believe her name is Christina) and watch again the early jail visits. The tone of voice Casey uses is appalling and makes me cringe. Everyone seems to cower and try to placate her whilst backing off from questioning her. Not once have I seen any sign of emotion from Casey, not even when they are discussing the putrification of the remains of her child. I am sure the Prosecution have their case well in hand and if I were in Casey’s shoes I would be quaking. How can the girl go into Court knowing that Judge Perry has heard and seen ALL the evidence, even that which will be witheld from going to Trial, and still hold her head up. She makes no effort to ingratiate herself with the Judge, makes no effort to behave like a distraught mother of a murdered child. I don’t pretend to understand her, I just know I loathe her!! JMO

    Snipped -
It may account after reading what you wrote about the plumbing emergency and desperately trying to reach Casey they found Caylee’s clothes she was dressed in at the nursing home on the 15th ? Maybe Casey had chucked them down an outside drain which caused a blockage?
    ________________________________________

OK – I’m confused and you will see that by this post – lol.

Didn’t the fight that night happen soon after Caylee and Cindy got out of the pool? After taking off Caylee’s bathing suit(I assume she wore a bathing suit in the pool)wouldn’t she (most likely Cindy)put on Caylee’s PJ’s and not the blue dress she wore to the nursing home that day/evening? Did the fight between Casey and Cindy happen as soon as they got out of the pool and Casey grabbed the blue dress to put on Caylee before she stormed out of the house (if Casey and Caylee left the house that night)? OR, was Caylee still in her wet bathing suit and Casey grabbed the blue dress and took off? If that’s the case, where is the bathing suit along with the blue dress?

With the trial coming up soon my mind is spinning all over again. ACK

The breakfast video was sad to watch. That had Casey written all over it – to me anyway. She was playing her wicked mind games with poor little Caylee.

  9. Mom3.0 says:

You are welcome Chelsea- thanks for reading and for responding. I just need to clarify that I was referencing Cindy’s calling Amy H. Not Annie-

I know exactly how you feel Chelsea- I guess because it is so close to the trial, that some are coming up with new excuses for Casey- and who could have done it or questioning how a loving mother could premediatively decide to murder her child-

I was recently watching HLN Prime News- most of the show consisted of the panel discussing Casey’s love for Caylee as shown in pics and also the fact that many of her friends said she was a good mommy-
    Here’s the link-
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIAzIbBatCE

Well, I am sorry to burst their bubble- but just because Casey had a few nice moments caught on camera with Caylee, and just because some of her friends say she was a good mom- that is not proof she was- They do not know Casey- the Casey they all thought they knew was a lie.

A good & loving Mom does not make up a job so she can leave her baby with babysitters – FOR 12 HR SHIFTS for years on end!- She does not make up a babysitter to bolster her claims of a job- with the purpose of securing her ME TIME (or worse for the premeditated years long plan to rid herself of her child by claiming kidnapping) A loving mom does not say she is working late and then stay over Zanny’s (a guys house) with her 2 year old. A good mother doesn’t leave her 2 year old little girl alone in a party with strangers, to answer the door and put on her own shoes, and wander off the 2nd story balcony while the mother of the year gets some alone time with her newest boyfriend.

A mother that supposedly was abused as a child would not live at home and subject her own child to the same abuse. She would walk out the door- baby in hand, and work her AZZ off to provide for that baby, swallowing her pride and pampered ways, and apply for welfare, food stamps, WIC, section 8 housing- and employment help. She would
most certainly would not give up her chance to leave with a loving boy who accepted and loved both of them to remain in the abusive house. She certainly would not say- (PP)I am better off on my own – and you love my daughter more than me… so, the engagement/marriage is off.

  10. Mom3.0 says:

Oh and one more thing- A good and loving mother does not plan a 2nd birthday party for HERSELF inviting all HER friends over and doing nothing special for her baby- BTW a mexican theme? What about a Dora theme plates and hates or a princess theme…Something that was for Caylee and not Casey….even if Casey did not know other mothers with children-(which she did) she could have went to a play place or a park or went to MCDonalds play area and invited over the other children and families- She could have took time away from her “job” and went to the public library during storytime and invited over some of those children.-

Cindy actually tried to make the party about Caylee not herself and IMO Casey was having NONE of it.

One of my fave moments was Blinkette’s 5th Birthday party.

We had an outdoor English Tea formal. I personally handmade all the girls hats with hot-glued florals and ribbon, as well as rosebuds on their gloves.

I am not being all Nancy Grace on you, I mention this because I think you raise a strong point about the tone/theme of a party for a 2 year old. It was not until Blinkette’s 5th, and certainly Blink Jr’s 4th (Pirate theme is hilarious) that I feel that the child/party connection is really strong in that regard.

When I tell you this was all about the “girls” I mean, I served tea sandwiches, and had labeled seating for 5 year olds and they were utter barbarians, lol. I say that in a good way.

With their scibs out for all to see, they were climbing the jungle gym and playing games and running all over creation like a Tide commercial.

Taking the long way around, here is my point, based on your point, lol-

I was not a young Mom. This in itself, I do not fault her for, in terms of poor parenting.

    Sadly, that comes later.

What I see, yet again, is her running the show, at her parents home, and everyone is cool with that?

I was/am concerned that Caylee was ok at that age, with such a wide range of “stranger” adults in the home.

I don’t think that George and Cindy had anything to do with the murder of their Granddaughter. I just don’t think they can wrap their mind around the fact that their daughter did this to Caylee. It is obvious that they have hid evidence from LE. They honestly believe that this is all a set up by someone trying to frame Casey. In refusing to believe the evidence, they have left Caylee an orphan.

  12. A Texas Grandfather says:

I think that the improvements to the back yard were planned prior to the plumbing discovery. We don’t have information as to what was purchased from Home Depot. Precast pavers maybe and twenty-six sacks of some form of mix, either mortar mix (sand and cement) or concrete mix (sand, cement and gravel).

Based on the photo links in your post, George or Lee or both or maybe others placed the pavers very nicely. Did you notice the drain slope to drain the water from the roof of the sun room?

These lots appear to be seventy-five feet wide. The house and garage are close to sixty feet wide. I have not seen a dimensioned plat of the property so I am basing this on the appearance of the house with the garage as a reference. Blink actually looked up the plat so she would know the exact figure.

If you read Blinks assesment of what she thinks happened in the back yard, regarding Caylee’s placement, she concluded that the playhouse or under the pool was a temporary location. The playhouse is the easiest access since there is no water weight to deal with or draining the pool leaving a tell tale wet area in the yard. I lean toward the playhouse. The dogs made a hit in the area of the playhouse so at some time the body was there.

The significance of the yard improvements is that Casey knew they were planned and she knew that what had happened to Kaylee would be found out. Following the plumbing discovery of something pertaining to Kaylee, the evidence found could have been placed in or under the new concrete work for concealment.

As sad as it is, Cindy is a very emotional woman who blew up at Casey and when she heard the story Casey told about the Nanny, she called 911. Later when Cindy calmed down she realized that there was a strong possibility that Casey had done something to Kaylee.

Most parents know when their children are being truthful and when they are not. Some parents will not allow a child to get away with living a lie for three years as Casey did. There is no doubt in my mind that Cindy and George were enablers to Casey’s chosen life style.

    ATG-

I think based on the visual (and is easy to do) you may be confusing the sandbox with what your calling the pool. It very much looks like a kidde pool, I agree.

  13. whoknew says:

I don’t see Casey flushing the dress. She drove around with Caylee’s body in a trashbag in her trunk without much concern, I don’t see her doing some major panic clean up over a dress. She didn’t care enough, in my opinion..more likely she just freshened her hair and clothes and drove to Tony’s house after Caylee died so they could rent horror movies and lay around, La Bella Vita. I haven’t seen much in her actions to show any sense of guilt, panic or worry about getting caught. Also, why would she flush the dress, why not just throw it in the car and get rid of it later in a trashcan somewhere? I don’t think too many adults think they can flush something the size of a washcloth and not have a clogged toilet.

This is, however, the first I’ve heard of the plumbing issue, and I find it very strange that Cindy nor George ever mentioned it in any of their retellings (since they manufacture, i mean remember, every other minute detail).. The timing is very odd. Is Rinaldi plumbing on the SAO witness list? I also think it fishy that Cindy mentions the “leek” (sic) in her letter..

Between her, Casey and Lee it is like an Agatha Christie novel where each offhand comment is a clue pointing back to the whodunit..

  14. ros says:

If I remember correctly, there was no dirt on the shovel when it was returned. Sand would not stick to the shovel. Perhaps that IS where she was digging. I didn’t picture Casey cleaning that shovel after using it (the lazy factor) and wondered about the lack of dirt or grass stuck on it.

    Chelsea dear
I share your frustration! I am beyond frustrated with this chick’ and her attorneys.

I agree with everything you say! I think the difference from the casey we seen and heard on those jailhouse visits is different because! at that time she was upset that no one was on her side! she raked her mom over the coals for talking to the media.

And now she has her mother’s full support at the expense of caylee’s justice on their behalf. You were right the girls name was christina in that conversation the hugs waste call.

The other difference is that she has had a dream team of high profil attorneys mitigating/litigating on her behalf and not to forget the crush she has developed on baez and from the looks of it! he is reciprocating her!!

I am so sickened by Jose and his latest stunt with the 48 hrs thingie!! He was just shortly ago complaining and accusing LE and other officers of the law of talking to the media. Now he is going to show up with mason on 48 hrs. I have no respect for mason and I dont think he is and was all that! he should have stayed out of this case because the only action he has shown is his ability to do a vulgar jesture to Jeff with his arm.

I think he is nasty and just as sickening as baez and that is why they work so well together!!! Birds of a feather flock together!!!

I realize casey should get a fair trial as much as I detest her! but this is beyond unbelief!! they are a disgrace to their profession!

I dont care if I am called a NLB because I am part of a movement for a worthy cause!! and that is justice for caylee. I pray that the judge let’s the defense have it on friday !!!!

we are so close to trial! I am doing my best to maintain sanity through all this!! I have taken this little girl to heart and if you only knew the many nights I lay in bed praying at night praying for justice!!!

caylee needs to rest in peace!

thats what they said about caseys friends! but isnt it odd that they were not included in the 48 hr thing’ just the tatoo artist claiming casey and caylee had been coming in there for a few years when he has only been in business one year when this went down. than theres the other lady cindys courtroom buddy that took a baseball bat to her husband!! all lies!!

I hear yall with your loathing for casey and the anthonys you have every right
everything oints to casey did it no one else would throw her so close to home. and if they want to say it was an accident how do you xplain the duct tape.

  19. artgal16 says:

I wonder how loud the complaints would be about the 48 hour show if the focus group voted Guilty! rather than not-guilty. Would they feel that it was biased and unfair? I have no objection to running a show that is balanced in its portrayal of the State and the defense’s positions. But to actually have a mock jury proclaim with just limited information that Casey is not-guilty is just pandering
to the sensational and is bad journalism. They could present a fair show if they wanted to, but of course, with a mock jury proclaiming she is innocent, they will get soooo many more viewers – wont they.

  20. fayda says:

People find it so hard to believe that kc was the only suspect. That’s because there was not a sign of anything to point any place else.
All their leads panned out. Amy didn’t do it. Jesse didn’t do it. Roy didn’t do it and either did George. There was no zanny, so where the heck would they go from there? They investigated everyone and everything, and all they got from the mother of a missing child was lies. WHAT OTHER leads should they follow? If people are so sure that kc is innocent, can someone please tell me who did this?
Any one who can’t stand back and see the whole picture is is not giving Caylee Anthony justice, imo.

@ Mom 3.0, re the last part of your post where you state “and you love my daughter more than me” (in regards to Jesse Grund) speaks volumes about the mindset of Casey Anthony pre-murder of Caylee.

Right there is the TRUE Casey Anthony.

“Its all about ME. ME ME ME!!!!!”

Spoken like a true narcissist. Axis II all the way.

If any true psychiatrist does a REAL workup of Casey, spends at least 20 min in her presence and does NOT diagnose her with a personality disorder, I will eat my own dirty socks. After wearing them for 3 days straight.

And this still DOES NOT excuse her behavior.

    She’s a cold, self-centered bitch. NOT crazy.

  23. Ragdoll says:

Who’s to say this mock jury on 48 hours wasn’t instructed by a certain incompetent lawyer to vote not guilty? Everything is not always as it seems…even on tv.

  24. Sue says:

Wadded up duct tape w/hair on it would stop up a sewer line. Trial run? Experimental testing until perfected? Is that why Cindy knew to hand over a hair brush w/both Casey and Caylee’s hair on it – to throw LE off? She put two and two together.

  25. Mom3.0 says:

Blink- how sweet- what a fond memory a little girls tea party theme. My daughter was not a girly girl- She loved Scooby Doo, so that is what her 5th birthday theme surrounded. I truthfully would have liked the frilly birthday dress ect- BUT it was her party, not mine. As for Casey being a young mom, I honestly do not believe that had much to do with anything. She may have been young, but she was an adult. She was just a selfish, spoiled, lazy adult – and that made for a selfish, spoiled and lazy mother.

semo68- I agree with you 100% regarding the narcissism. Cindy kept waiting for the loving, caring, unselfish mother to emerge- sadly Casey never was up for that full-time role- too much work, too little immediate payback…..I am not sure if a psychiatrist could actually diagnose Casey as suffering from anything- except for being a compulsive liar(only when it suited her). Casey would never tell the truth about herself or her feelings…I picture her reading up on disorder and trying to make herself fit into that diagnosis inorder to try and fool the shrinks.

This whole thing- Casey letters/lies/ hints at abuse/vivid dreams/ ect- Defense new tactics of adding Dr/s ect.. reminds me of that movie with Kim Bassinger and Richard Gere, “Final Analysis” – Kim plays a woman who seduces a shrink(RG)then gets him to help defend her after she kills her overbearing husband “accidentally” in a blackout fit of rage induced by ‘pathological intoxication’ (She cant drink- she is allergic and acts out violently/blacks out ect)

She and her sister, planned the whole thing they read psych books and found a somewhat obscure disorder to fake- all to explain her actions/behaviors ect. I think we can expect much the same from Casey and her defense. I wouldn’t be surprised if the defense is not setting up an excuse of a drug/drink related “pathological intoxication” defense… Casey or her Docs or her family (or the media whomever) come out & say Casey said- Im sorry I lied- I admit it- but I blacked out- I had never taken that much___ or stayed awake that long…I still cant remember it all- I actually made myself believe the nanny lie….See, I am suffering from “pathological intoxication”/PSTD and incest survival BS- with a smidgen of pathological lying and over-bearing mother syndrome… its “NOT MY FAULT”

Blink, one question, and this should be on the city planning records somewhere, or records of the Hopespring development plans, is where the city water is located at the property line, and where the pipes enter the house. That could give an idea of where the water lines run.

To my knowledge they run from the street/curb. This was phase III of this development, and there is a treeline in the rear
    B

  27. Kleat says:

Makes sense that the water lines would enter on the garage side as that is where the hot water tank appears, then lines would go to the bedroom/bathroom and kitchen on the opposite side of the house. This might include a separate outside cold line run to the outside taps at some point around Caylee’s room outside wall, just to run the lines together.

    The Spider and the Fly

Will you walk into my parlour?” said the Spider to the Fly,
    ‘Tis the prettiest little parlour that ever you did spy;
The way into my parlour is up a winding stair,
And I’ve many curious things to shew when you are there.”
Oh no, no,” said the little Fly, “to ask me is in vain,
For who goes up your winding stair can ne’er come down again.”

    “I’m sure you must be weary, dear, with soaring up so high;
Will you rest upon my little bed?” said the Spider to the Fly.
“There are pretty curtains drawn around; the sheets are fine and thin,
And if you like to rest awhile, I’ll snugly tuck you in!”
Oh no, no,” said the little Fly, “for I’ve often heard it said,
They never, never wake again, who sleep upon your bed!”

Said the cunning Spider to the Fly, ” Dear friend what can I do,
To prove the warm affection I ‘ve always felt for you?
    I have within my pantry, good store of all that’s nice;
I’m sure you’re very welcome — will you please to take a slice?”
“Oh no, no,” said the little Fly, “kindly , that cannot be,
I’ve heard what’s in your pantry, and I do not wish to see!”

“Sweet creature!” said the Spider, “you’re witty and you’re wise,
How handsome are your gauzy wings, how brilliant are your eyes!
I’ve a little looking-glass upon my parlour shelf,
If you’ll step in one moment, dear, you shall behold yourself.”
“I thank you, gentle spider,” he said, “for what you ‘re pleased to say,
And bidding you good morning now, I’ll call another day.”

The Spider turned round about, and went into her den,
For well she knew the silly Fly would soon come back again:
She wove a subtle web, in a little corner sly,
And set her table ready, to dine upon the Fly.
Then came out to her door again, and merrily did sing,
    “Come hither, hither, pretty Fly, with the pearl and silver wing;
    Your robes are green and purple — there’s a crest upon your head;
Your eyes are like the diamond bright, but mine are dull as lead!”

Alas, alas! how very soon this silly little Fly,
    Hearing the wily, flattering words, came slowly flitting by;
With buzzing wings he hung aloft, then near and nearer drew,
Thinking only of his brilliant eyes, and green and purple hue —
Thinking only of his crested head — poor foolish thing! At last,
Up jumped the cunning Spider, and fiercely held him fast.
She dragged him up her winding stair, into her dismal den,
Within her little parlour — but he ne’er came out again!

And now dear folks, who may this story read,
To idle, silly flattering words, I pray you ne’er give heed:
Unto an evil counsellor, close heart and ear and eye,
And take a lesson from this tale, of the Spider and the Fly.
    Mary Howitt, 1829

So know I have to put his head on an arachnid?

Brilliant piece of work and very appropos, gigi.

Thanks for the clarification about the sandbox Blink. Even with the correction about the sandbox, there still is the weight issue. Sand is heavy too and if Casey used a shovel to remove some of the sand so that she could move the box, there would be a nice trail of sand spilled on the ground

Your precious story abut the kids party and all the things that you did for preparation had me smiling and laughing. Little barbarians in the end, but they will remember it and it was a beginning for them to learn proper behavior at a real tea party later in life. All the things that a mature loving parent does to teach good behavior. Your love for classical literature was showing in the party planning.

Reading with my children before bed was a magical time for me, it was the only “private time” that was just ours.
Blinkette liked straight mom voice, Blink Jr liked mamadrama voice for all the different characters.

I think one of the very first images of Caylee reading the book at the Mt. Dora home struck my heart immediately.
She was a beautiful, bubbly and bright little “hamstress”, and I am angry she is so clearly disposable to her own family.

Chica, I honestly do not know what to think about the 48 htrs show- I was trying to stay away from the fray on that one- at least until it airs…who knows it may be totally different than what is being discussed.

IDK but what I do Know is, that they couldn’t possibly have heard all the evidence. Some of the evidence is SEALED! Besides- the evidence they were allowed to see was, I am assuming- skewed in the defenses favor…perhaps they presented a totally different case- as if all of the defenses motions were granted?…

But whatever the case, I know that JA wasn’t there to argue against skim milk being the reason for the stain, and I doubt the “hair” lady was there to testify to the death band…and Dr. Vass wasnt there and LDB wasnt there to argue the K-9 findings and Melich wasnt there ect ect. So I do not put ANY stock into that show- IMO it is another ploy for the defense to try and taint the REAL jury pool.

Just to underscore the point …it seems LKB has come out and said “She lied. Sure. I think everyone knows that was a lie,” referring to Casey’s claim that Caylee was kidnapped by a babysitter named Zenaida Gonzalez”.

    http://www.wtsp.com/news/florida/article/187203/19/Former-Anthony-attorney-Casey-lied?odyssey=mod|newswell|img|FRONTPAGE|p

    ==
Gee, I guess we can all let Casey have a “do-over” because, a MOCK jury accuited Casey- so there is no need to go any further with this “witch hunt” & bygeorge, EVERYONE knew that the Zanny/ ZFG story was a lie…

Yeah, if everyone excludes LE who put countless man hours into the search for the non-existent nanny, and Caylee’s grandparents who spent countless hours going over past conversations ect and spent hours in a civil case ect defending their daughter and thinking that an amber alert could have helped…& then later making themselves crazy thinking the nanny was code for one of Casey’s friends… oh and lets not forget that little girl in Puerto Rico who was dragged into this…or Zenaida Fernandez Gonzalez- the Real lady- and all the other innocent people like the other ZG’s- that were subjected to LE’s phone calls and investigations- ect–

No worries Guys- LindaKB says everyone knew it was a lie, so that doesn’t count, and everyone should just disregard the Fact that Casey had been lying about this nanny FOR YEARS- so she could get out of her Mommy duties and out of a murder rap–move along everyone…nothing to see here- that lie is meaningless…it has nothing to do with this case.

    PLEASE!!!

I agree with one thing LKB said in this article:
    snipped-

Kenney Baden also said Casey’s “actions have been her own worst enemy.”

Casey’s actions ARE her worst enemy- her lie of the nanny going back years- her snot head remarks, her shopping sprees- her texting and partying and tattooing and her refusal to claim accident or help bring Caylee home for a proper burial..Also her refusal toGIVE UP the nanny lie until the very last second- only when her trial is just around the corner and it is clear to her defense that they have to try to neutralize that lie…

(PP) I dropped her off between 9-1 like a normal day- when I returned she was gone the number was outofservice….I waited around for hours…. and then went to a neutral place…I was conducting my own investigation…. going places I knew Zanny had went before…Fusion Universal…In a backwards sort of way…mot everything I told you was a lie…I was afraid of what might happen to Caylee…she had a key… I received a call today- from a private number…Hi Mommy she was talking about her shoes and her book…She is sleeping…. I dont want to disturb her…The cops NEVER looked for Zanny…. never showed me a pic… She is a ’10′ perfect teeth, puerto-rican and black…She has clothes and toys for Caylee…I have her straightener…She had a DOG!

Hey Blink, this is way off topic but I was backtracking and came across the following from CA’s interview with LE on 8/4/2008. Has this been discussed? What happened to these boots?
    Q=LE
    A=Cindy Anthony

    1. A. She had, well there was a, her work bag was in the white car on the
    2. front seat. And then she had a pair of pants in the back seat and her
    3. boots and a pair of shoes back there.
    4. Q. With the pants and all that clothing collected by or did you guys keep
    5. that stuff.
    6. A. Um I thnk everything that was in the car, oh I told the one girl when
    7. she picked things up, the boots were still in the trunk, I mean in the
    8. car, in the back seat of the car.
    9. Q. Boots.
    10. A. The boots and the shoes. She had a pair of shoes and her boots
    11. were in the back seat on the floor behind the driver’s side. I never
    12. touched them. Those were still in the car when the took the car, I told
    13. her I had taken that gray pair of slacks out and that I actually had
    14. washed them cause they smelt nasty. So I washed them and I told
    15. them that and she didn’t, she didn’t take them. They’re hanging up in
    16. Caysee’s closet.

Your questions about the 48 hrs. showpiece have a direct bearing on the twisted thinking that goes on in our media. This show should never have left the planning room, much less be produced.

It will be “sound and furey signifying nothing” Those that can think will resent it and those that can’t will not care.

  34. Mom3.0 says:

    Whats this new evidence?

    AND More from LKB-

    http://blogs.orlandosentinel.com/entertainment_tv_tvblog/2011/04/casey-anthony-wkmg-says-it-has-exclusive-on-evidence.html

She had more to say. In a transcript released today, Kenney Baden says of the nanny story: “I think it may come back to haunt her, but it’s part of the lies. She lies. But being a liar does not make you a murderer.”

I submit that in the Totality of the Circumstances -Casey’s lies Do mean that she is a murderer. All of her lies were not just innocent fibs—Oh I really weigh 128 but on my license I said 105-

She not only lied about her daughters whereabouts but she lied about her welfare and well-being. She did not just lie- she actively covered up. And actively pointed the finger of suspicion toward her friends. Who can we trust? Dont trust JG and not TL- ect. She did not seek help – or admit her guilt when given the chance-
She blamed squirrels and her father— she cleaned the car, and triple bagged her daughter- and threw Caylee out like trash into an animal invested bog and as Blink so rightfully stated ap iss soaked garbage heap.

She placed a trashbag in the trunk to give an excuse for the smell..and she abandoned her car and stole from her friends and partied her bella vita AZZ off- She NEVER wanted to be dragged back home- She never thought Cindy would go through with calling the police-

She lies not to lie but ONLY when she can gain something from it- Now we are supposed to believe that she or her defense is telling the truth now?

This is LKB the same woman who with a straight face pointed the finger at RK this is the same defense that claimed this was a witch hunt because we did not like Casey wearing short skirts or push up bras- This is the same defense that was planning on going to Puerto Rico to find Zanny.

As for casey this is the same mother that wrote the Diary of days and rented/watched those flicks- and quoted the Tupac quote and watched American Psycho and uploaded the teddy bear quote icon…and accused Lee and possibly her dad of incest and abuse..this is the same person that has done everything she could to thwart LE and has come up with several different zanny the nanny scenarios and lies.

So now we are just supposed to believe that what ever cockamamy story the defense pulls out of Caseys behind now is undoubtedly the God’s honest truth?? NO WAY!!!

Whats more believably? That Casey makes up whatever lie would/will protect her sorry AZZ from prosecution…or that she lies only because she is a liar and nothing more nefarious than that?

According to LKB She certainly can not be a thief and a liar and a neglectful, abusive mother.. who has done everything INCLUDING fabricating a kidnapping story and countless other lies in an attempt to cover-up the fact that she murdered her innocent baby girl and was relieved about Caylee’s demise and her newfound bella vita!!

What is LKB doing? She is willing to throw her reputation away for what? None of this helps her X-client- this is hearsay at best and only Casey and attempt to correct her misconstrued lies…on the stand, right? Is this legal for LKB to be spouting off like this?

Mom 3.0, your posts have been on fire in this case lately, nice job.

I would only add one more dimension: Dominic Casey WORKED FOR CASEY.
The bulk of his investigative hours were spent on Zanny finding.. Same thing for the A’s, same for Baez..

If she is just a liar, why is she alibis/defense shopping already, months in advance, according to her own parents and Richard Grund, to name a few.

This is another example of poor lawyering. That BS Zenaida Gonzalez crap needed to be abandoned way before now.

This spin is so putred Gerus and Bones are likely to hit on it, lol.

  35. Word Girl says:

    Eloise,
I did find the State’s request for mental examination of the accused in the area of consciousness of guilt to have grounds. Also, the Defense makes a good argument in opposition while granting themselves room to maneuver should Judge Perry grant the State’s motion. They want to make sure they’re present during the exam…(lol must mean lotsa luck).

The Defense also seems to indicate that their case is not going to be just a rebuttal of ‘consciousness of guilt’ as in “ugly coping,” et al; that they have a Real explanation of what happened to the victim.

Even if they only vaguely realize it, they’re leaving open the door
to mediate mental health status during the death penalty phase. Again,
    lotsa luck with that, Counsellors.

Blink, I have a Bank of America account in the US and on the cheques there is a place to write a ‘memo’ of what the payment was for. I notice that this is blacked out on the pic in your article. Don’t suppose Cindy had been dumb enough to write….. remove material from water pipe…?

  37. Sharma (WA) says:

“This spin is so putred Gerus and Bones are likely to hit on it, lol.”

Ragdoll thanks for that tidbit- and thank you Blink for pointing us to your earlier work. (I had not read it)= WOW-

It seems that this jury Foreman, this Richard IS the jury consultant that the defense wanted to hire- and that visited Casey in jail…so how can it be overlooked that this shill is now overseeing a national program- before the trial- complete with mock jury/focus group and an acquittal for Casey—exactly what evidence did he reveal to this group?

It has been said that he was not paid for his work on 48hrs- but doesnt notoriety ect equal a payment of sorts? And how can the Defense sit there and lie and tell the world that They were not behind this show?

Nebbia hearing indeed Blink- surely Judge Perry will not let this go…

Although he did say he didnt mind retrying this case twice…
I bet the taxpayers of Florida would disagree.

Why would we think that casey and caylee never used the same hairbrush? Why do we think it was the wrong brush cindy gave? Caylee and casey’s hair could have been mixed together on the brush if they used the same one on occasion. Is there more to the brush than just getting Caylee’s hair?

    Night night Blinkland!

  47. Ragdoll says:

I meant to ask….is there a chance for a Nebbia hearing? It would certainly deter future Baez wannabe’s who think taking short cuts is the way to represent the law…and oneself.

There would have to be a good faith basis, and likely be requested by the JAC.

As a practical latter, they are largely used for bond cash, which Casey is not eligible for.

Here is what I cant figure out… the civil suit is temporarily suspended, however, I would like it very much if someone could tell Ms, Huzienga she is entitled to damages in the economic case, outside of the minimal reimbursement, I am referring to the punitive kind…

Cause that would be subject to discovery of Ms. A’s financial dealings, and specifically, her TAX RETURN.
    B

  48. Mom3.0 says:

Exactly what BS is this defense trying to pull now with the Doctors and first wanting them to testify then saying oh wait…not that one…oh wait the State expert Dr. cant talk to Casey…oh wait it has something to do with what happened before all this… oh wait we want to be there IF an expert DR. evaluates her…

Is this all gonna be a poor Casey fest? What? she was so upset at losing Brandon’s baby she couldn’t be a mother anymore to Caylee so she killed her? ARGG what a farce!

Houston Mom- I dont know where Caylee’s shoes are…
“Only Casey Knows” I think her slip up regarding the surprise phone call from Caylee talking about her shoes is as close as we will get to the truth of the matter. Casey knows where they are or the reasoning behind not including them with her body…Perhaps that is what set Cindy off in a frantic search, maybe she found Caylees shoes? Or perhaps that is the reason behind Caylee’s demise- she wouldnt put on her shoes for Casey?

We’ll never know- we dont even know what shoes were supposedly on Caylee the alleged last time George saw them, the morning of the 16th- In one interview he says they were white tennies, in another he says white sandals-

The significance of the blue dress is that Caylee’s clothes, that she wore that last day- Fathers day, to our knowledge are unaccounted for…”They havent even found her clothes” What shoes was she wearing that day? What swimsuit was she wearing that night when Cindy said she was in the pool? Where are momma dolls clothes?

I think there are many things to ponder with Blinks article…

How is it that Cindy and family could not remember the date their granddaughter went missing- left their home? Yet vividly remember other dates/details?

How is it that Cindy and family NEVER once brought up this late night plumbing issue- nor did they bring up the 8 late night phone calls to Casey that same night?

If Casey was trying to give another cold hearted message to Cindy & George about Caylee’s well-being how would she go about it?- Noone is saying that Casey was definitely trying to flush away evidence (although I agree the bloody wipes would plug the drain- and remain stained upon retrieval, so would socks)

Perhaps Casey wanted to cause a plumping overflow with a message attached…perhaps she flushed the missing diary pages or some other note describing her vindictiveness and calling Cindy jealous ect—I do not believe for one second that Cindy’s My Caylee is Missing MS page was pulled from her poetic need to write exaggerations ect…the BS that she spouted in her depo-

Cindy’s mood was distraught- why? nothing was really any different then it had been in the days leading up to July— but yet Cindy writes this page and calls Ryan P and warns him that Casey is a sociopath (IIRC) and sends out Lee to search for Casey….

Something set Cindy to defcon 3 and it wasnt just another lie by Casey…

    AJMO

This woman, this CC, developed a mortal fear about her granddaughter in the wee hours of 7/1, which I believe, are associated with a plumbing emergency, followed or predated by a backyard finding.

She panicked, and then at some point, bought Casey’s story until she finally heard her say that Caylee was missing for 31 days.

On the eve of July 15th, for a few moments, Cindy connected the dots. She called 911, and she told George they lost her.

The heart and the mind appear to be strangers to this family, et al.

You know what I wonder? I wonder if the alleged toddler “jibberish” calls to Mrs. Plesea were not orchestrated to allay Cindy’s fears.

All activity by these people that followed July 15th were about mitigating their guilt for not saving this baby.
