Orlando, FL– On the Eve of the New Year, it struck me that I have yet to form my New Years’ Resolution, and hopefully, impart one to the dedicated readers of blinkoncrime.com.

Caylee4

After reading this comment from a longtime reader and poster, I realized it would be the basis of what I will ask of you in the coming year.

I guess I’m still alone in not begrudging the Ants any of the media money they collect. I know everyone’s mad at them for not publicly turning against their daughter, and for not helping the state firm up a death penalty case against her, and I get that, but I still have trouble mustering up hatred for them. I don’t think they’re particularly likable or even sympathetic characters—I think that’s why I can’t seem to hate them correctly. I see them as foibled and broken and just so regularly human that I kind of feel compassion for their situation.

I think it’s probably a misconception that they’re rolling in the dough. They’re not working right now. Cindy had to clean out her retirement fund thanks to the two losers she more or less supports, and who more or less have robbed her blind over the past many years. They have lawyers and godnoze who else sucking money out of them prolly as quickly as it comes in. Their grandchild is dead, their daughter is facing death—it sucks. I’m pretty positive that none of us would want to trade places with them. Not that you guys wouldn’t conduct yourselves differently than the Ants. You’re probably less screwed up than they are.

I wouldn’t want to walk a mile in their shoes, and I’m grateful that I won’t have to. But I am also quite sure that I can’t fully imagine what it feels like to be them. Everyone hates them. People surely still heckle them, threaten them, shun them, spit on them, attack them—day after day, relentlessly!—viciously on blog after blog, calling them names, making just horrible assumptions and speculations about them and wild claims against them. Mobs are not warm and fuzzy, whether they are storming your gates with pitchforks and torches, or lobbing negativity and vitriol at you over the ‘net.

(Oh, dear, I must be feeling the full weight of 2009 upon me. Reflection is a dangerous thing, lol.) At any rate, here’s wishing all the Blinksters a safe and happy and fulfilling 2010, hopefully with many fewer human tragedies for us to chime in on.

I think this perspective is a very fair one, and I share it. My response:

 Suz-

I do not hate these people. I hate their behavior.

I hate that they enabled this girl for so long she never got the help, I feel, she desperately needed.

I hate that a 34 month old baby paid the price for it.

I hate that they have lied to protect the woman responsible for it.

I hate that they do not get that their job now, is to restore the dignity of that baby, and to warn others what can happen when one enables their child to the extent of actual lying and covering up for her, her entire life.

I stole a pack of Kool Aid when I was a kid ( that must be where it all started..) and my Mom drove me back to Food Lane and made me hand it to the manager and apologize.

The rest of my feelings are probably peppered throughout this site.

I do not want people to blindly hate the Anthony’s. I want them to learn the lessons they are supposed to, in the hopes this tragedy can be prevented where it might not have been previously, for someone else.

Imo, hate gets people nowhere. It prevents us from self-asessing and making the crooked places straight.

Happy New Year to You as well Suz.

B

To add to the above, I will share with you that my biggest fear in the conclusion of this case, is that hate, for anyone involved, wins out.

The easiest thing in the world to do is to cast dispersions and  launch the atomic hate grenade. I am asking all of you to instead of sitting in the smokescreen that ensues, to open your heart to the real issue here.

Caylee Marie Anthony, in her short time on Earth, loved these people, unconditionally.

Maybe the way to break through to them is to just respect that part of their relationship. Momentarily, can I ask us to have a collective recall of a photo we have seen of Caylee with them? Full of life, love, and happiness.

I know they read here, so let me be the first to say that while I will continue to work to affect a successful prosecution in this case; I want you to know:

I know you loved her more than anything.

I know you would do everything differently if you could.

I know what happened to Caylee was not your fault, but you know who is responsible.

I know that you are struggling for a way to make this right.

I know that your ability to do so on your own may be shortly out of your control.

I know that people will understand your motivations for how this all started if you are simply, honest. I know people have a great capacity for forgiveness.

For me, the thought of Caylee’s death turning into nothing more than a bank account for some, and platform to spread hate, turns my stomach.

If hate wins, that is all it will ever be to those that we need to affect changes that will help someone else. The cycle continues.

I think Caylee deserves for her death to matter in a way for her legacy to be the focus of our energy. Please join me.

(editors note: For anyone who reads this and thinks Blink has gone soft, you know me better than that. I am just sick of the viral toxin shower that some seem to have taken before they comment on this case. It needs to end)

Weird that the doll didn’t have more on it than a stain. ????
At first they thought chloroform was on it , but later considered it urine, right?

    I wonder if it smelled.

My guess would be yes, thus why she left it on the ice chest and did not put it in her room. I have been told that in some cases the actual frame- yes, METAL of a car can absorb that smell.
Yes, that is correct as far as the forensics

I got to feel this one blink for real, I need to comprehend the finding of the dolly clothes, to me that is huge I am the mom of 2 girls and I knew back in the day when they were babies what was important to them, and if something was amist about those items I would know….

maybe I am making a big deal out of this but something tells me Cincin knew something, I dont think she knew fully but her mom senses kicked in…still dont like her for all her BS, but I think she as a mom knew something just wasnt right, sadly she turned to the dark side early on, but, we have to give her some props that without her 911 call we wouldnt be here today, dont throw stones at me, not a Sin’dy supporter, but in Casey’s circle it didnt seem like there were to many supporters out there that cared why Caylee wasnt around

Have read here forever. Finally took the plunge and decided to post. Perhaps not on a thread i would have wished, as you ask not to hate the A’s. I dislike this family as anyone with common sense would, but I do hate what their family’s core is about. Hate is a terrible word that brings greater implications. I dislike these people, i dislike them because they would have never given this child a future.

Thanks for the plunge, and welcome.

  7. Kleat says:

Could it be the ‘bag of clothes’ , mama’s clothes in a bag?

    Great work, Thinker!! Thanks!

Yeah, Dee, I started to type ‘absolutely’ but stopped myself. I wonder if the statement of I believe 150%, or ‘more than 100%’ (George, livingroom 2008 interview re believing his daughter), or whatever rediculous number Holly Gagne gave, ie; one hundred million percent belief in Casey, is also one of those clues that the person is not just exaggerating, but not being truthful, that they have doubts so take exaggeration to the ridiculous.

  8. Thinker says:

#347 – Cindy had her “story” ready for why the mama doll had no clothes on. Cindy said that SHE would dress the mama doll every day, and Caylee would UNDRESS the mama doll every day, and they were trying to teach Caylee to keep clothes on the doll ….

I believe Cindy would have known that the mama doll’s clothes were “missing” at the very least, and may well have found the mama doll’s clothes buried in their back yard.

I remember that the Discovery said there were possible “urine” stains on the mama doll. That led me to think that the baby doll was near Caylee when she urinated at some time (in the trunk?). The baby doll would not have gotten urine stains on it, simply by Caylee holding the doll in her arms or carrying it around.

I wonder how Casey explains that if a babysitter that has watched Caylee for more than 2 years, and Caylee never went anywhere with her mama doll, if the babysitter “had” Caylee the day she decided to kidnap her, how did the mama doll get separated from Caylee that day? The mama doll would have been with Caylee AT the babysitter’s, just like any normal day.

  9. karen says:

Ok, now I want more. These babydoll clothes found on July 3. That is the something that sent everyone in the A’s household into a tizzy at that time? Please more info. I need the dots connected.

Karen, this is not a drive through evidence mart.

  14. Steadychick says:

Re: Kleat #357 — Or how about “they never even found her clothes” (paraphrased). Perhaps KC was not referring to Caylee’s clothes. Maybe she was talking about Mama’s???? And if Blink is right and the dollclothes were found in the yard, Casey was right — LE never found them because her parents found them first.

  15. Steadychick says:

Oh Blink!! Is this what you have been getting at all along, that the dollclothes were buried or hidden in the backyard, possibly soaked with decomp? And that this is what Casey was referring to in her clothes statement? But if so, how did mama avoid getting decomp on her, and why was she not disposed of by Casey?

  16. Kleat says:

Steadychick, that’s what I was meaning, the dolls clothes in a bag, maybe with some of Caylee’s clothes or not. Casey would know that the doll would not have her clothes on in a kidnap scenario where Caylee had the doll and was playing with it, as if found in the carseat when Caylee was removed from the seat. (we know now that little set up of Cindy’s to replace the doll in the seat, cleaned up on it’s face of what (?). (What?– if not something grimy that could indicate the doll had been somewhere other than played with in clean places– maybe the doll was temporarily also from the back yard (or just trunk related ‘debris’) and that’s why her face got wiped off of some evidence of that.

Someone did make it appear as if the doll had been played with then left in the car seat. Much different scenario than if the doll had been with the body and maggots and trunk chemicals, dirty face and all.

  17. Kleat says:

Justice, yep… and on the 21st (Blink, I checked, it’s still on the docket as this date) is the murder trial status hearing. Busy busy lawyers.

‘The Angel of Death Row’ teams up with Jose Angel Baez. Book comes out before that busy week. The last two capital case hearings had major multiple media adventures by ‘the team’. What WILL they come up with before the status hearing and following week. They have to make their moves probably the end of next week, beginning of the following week? Tie that in with the book release and promos, it should be a bit of a show.

  18. Kleat says:

Will the defense promos be pre-empted by Brad Conway once again? That seems to be his role, three times lucky?

  19. MJ says:

There’s something so disturbing about this possibility. Even if CA and GA weren’t sure of why they were there FTLOG they never copped to the discovery after the whole thing blew up. Even if they were thrown away because they looked ‘dirty’ or smelled, when the detectives and dogs were there to withhold critical info is beyond reason. If this is true, with all my heart I wish it could be proved.

For some reason, out of all the nasty details about the murder, this tears me up. Why on earth would they forsake Caylee like that? That was pre DP, they were not thinking that far ahead that they must save their loser spawn from the judicial system .
Blink~ thanks for the luv upthread^ back atcha, it’s a good place to hang.

  20. Steadychick says:

Kleat, have we ever seen any results of what the stains were on mama? I know this theory could be all wrong, but it makes sense, especially after looking at Cindy tripping over her explanations about the doll and the clothes. And it does appear that Cindy did not want the doll in the house, probably because of whatever was on it or how it smelled. I feel like we’ve just had an “aha” moment!

    ” 01/05/2009 CANCELED Trial (9:30 AM) ”

Steadychick, there were some results IIRC in discovery. Maybe someone can remember, I’m not going to even try to remember acurately on that one as there were different stories, I wouldn’t want to mix up fact and fiction.

  23. dee says:

ok I am sorry I just started the Cindy Depo, already angry, did Cin just say that “not all numbers were saved on my SIM Card” have we not already heard that lie before? Oh I blieve this is going to make me angry as ever as I go through this, didn’t Brad brief her on that same lie Casey told and it didn’t work then and it won’t work now.

Funny how all the TV interviews with the A’s and Conway and the Dream Team have the same tone to them, if the public knew what ALL the evidence out there they would know Casey was innocent, or something to that effect. How do they come up with that stance when every FRIGGIN answer from these people is either “I don’t know, or I don’t remember” seems to me that their silence over the last few months was because they have been in training on how not to argue but instead play like they have Amnesia, I don’t buy the “I don’t knows” one bit and I doubt any jury would either, this is about the death of your grandchild, NOT about what you ate and wore and talked to on say Monday March whatever of 1980..

  26. TallyHo says:

Thinking out loud here – if she really did bury Mama’s clothes, she must have done it with the intention of Cindy finding them and it being a message (a sick one) to her. It just reeks of a sick game to me – I think if she was intending to get rid of the clothes, she would have been better off throwing them in some random dumpster. Problem solved. No way it could come back on her. But to bury them in the yard…?????

She left the gate open and moved the pool ladder on the 17th, and virtually copied the hard drive of the desktop onto the laptop and took it with her. As I have said, I believe the duct tape was applied very soon after death, her kidnapping story went into effect within 24 hours of Caylee’s death, imo, or to some, 24 hours before.

Casey Anthony case: syringe in bottle contained traces of chloroform

The FBI reports released today also show a doll recovered from Casey Anthony’s white 1998 Pontiac Sunfire GT had “faint yellowish stains” on the front and back of its white clothing. The June lab tests showed slight traces of chloroform residue on the doll, according to Rickenbach.
But a later test in July indicated no chloroform on the doll. Other reports show the yellow stains may have been urine.
The documents show photographs of the doll, Gatorade bottle and syringe found at the scene.

Blink – are you thinking that she did all of the above and buried Mama’s clothes and had the intention of it being a seen as a “message” from Zanny to HER after she (Zanny) came in (she had a key after all) and drowned Caylee in the pool? I guess she did mention somewhere that Zanny had taken Caylee to teach her a lesson, at least I think I remember her saying that at one point.

    http://www.cfnews13.com/uploadedFiles/10622-10682.pdf

as of Jan 22, 2009 – Melich did not have a photo of what the Big Trouble shirt looked like before it was destroyed at the crime scene with Caylee’s remains, and he thought it would be “pretty awesome” to have a photo of what the shirt looked like. They were trying to get Target to send them a photo of the shirt. (apparently they did not know about the GLOBE mag article showing the Big Trouble shirt ON Caylee in August 2008, as of Jan 22, 2009).

Thinker, the state did not know that pic existed until we made the connection here. If you review the latest discovery, there is a batch of newly released pics of Caylee with that shirt on. I am not sure why nobody has picked up on this yet, so I will scoop you all on here. Those pics had to have been returned via subpoena by the State from the Globe/National Enquirer.
(insert sound of thread starting elsewhere..)

Er go- they KNOW who sold them. The beauty of that is, if the State received those pics under the Investigative subpoena, that information is not subject to the sealed in camera interview Baez underwent regarding possible conflict.

    Should be interesting.

some people sent Yuri Melich the cropped photo of Caylee in the Big Trouble shirt, off of Jaden’s Granny’s MySpace page, around February 2009.

Then Justice23 found the GLOBE Oct 20, 2008 cover for sale on eBay on October 20, 2009, then the UNcropped photos were published in GLOBE and Ntl Enq.

Cindy, George, and Lee were shown ONLY the CROPPED photo from the MySpace page in their depos in July/August 2009.

Just recently, the Discovery contained the photos that Justice23 found on eBay in the GLOBE …..

    Hi Blink
    Yuri was sent a link to the photo a few days after the docs came out that said what was on shirt {letters}
That myspace page of Jaden’s Grandma was where photo was found.
So link to myspace page was sent to Yuri!

I sent Yuri the link to the myspace page and apparently Siggy sent just the photo.Yes Siggy sent the exact photo that was on her photobucket cropped because that was how it was found cropped.
Photo was found about 3 days before the first set of Docs that described clothing ,so not sure of those dates but was way after Caylee was found .

    http://www.wftv.com/pdf/21252744/detail.html
evidence photos of shorts and letters off Big Trouble shirt

Prior to the connection here, OCSO and the SA office only had the cropped photo of unknown origin.
Linda Burdick tells Lee A that specifically. All 3 of the A’s have a different reason they do not recognize it without the entire image and knowledge of where it was taken.

That image, imo had been photoshopped and was the first one to appear in the Globe so one could not tell where it was taken.

Once we discovered it, the State used that information to subpoena the images on file with the Globe.

As I said then, they published photos BEFORE this child’s remains were found in her virtual death shrowd.

The State had every right in their investigative efforts to seek the photos and identity/knowledge of the individuals responsible for providing them for publishing. Not only that, depending upon who actually sold them or the chain of custody of them prior to their sale before Caylee was found, could very well reflect prior knowledge of her remains whereabouts.

If this is connected to Baez, well, here we go again.

It is alleged (please don’t recycle this discussion, Im begging.) That the woman who sent Yuri the cropped image got it from the site maintained by the Anthony family and has since been deleted.

    Bottom Line: this is huge

BTW, Kleat mentioned the Globe or Enquirer yesterday. It’s interesting to note that the Globe quoted Richard Hornsby on the prior Plea bargain offered to Casey that purportedly would have been only an 8 year sentence. He stated that he never spoke with the Globe. So there you go, the tabloids are trolling blogs for info to put in their stories. Either they pulled his quote from his blogsite, or the Hinkymeter where Maura commented on it.
    Yep.
Remember we outed the tshirt photo (Justice 23) on here and then they followed that up?
I believe the latest pics released by the State were received via subpoena.

  36. Thinker says:

In my opinion, these 2 GLOBE articles appear to have Ricardo’s cooperation as Ricardo’s statements are included in the articles, and photos of Casey and Caylee are in Ricardo’s home …. therefore,it appears that Ricardo most likely sold the Big Trouble shirt photos to the GLOBE.

Aug 25, 2008 – text excerpt: “And in another disturbing twist, photos obtained by GLOBE show Caylee with a bruise on her face just below her left eye.
While an insider insists Caylee hurt herself by running into a table, questions remain about whether she was the subject of abuse after a hairdresser said she’d seen the tot with “bruises on her arms and body and a mark on her eye.” (NOTE: It appears that Ricardo cooperated with this article and may have supplied the photos of Caylee in the Big Trouble shirt?)

Oct 20, 2008 – text excerpt: (with photo of Ricardo) “In an exclusive interview with GLOBE, Casey’s ex-lover Ricardo Morales notes the sinister plot may have been hatched as early as March…..” “Morales says Casey was chomping at the bit to join him and three other pals on a weeklong trip to Isabela, Puerto Rico, from July 8 to 15.” “Something like this could have sent Casey over the edge,” Morales, 24, tells GLOBE.” “In hidsight, it looks like she planned the whole thing, maybe because she couldn’t come to Puerto Rico with us.”

Respectfully Thinker, I disagree. If you notice, the photos Ricardo admitted to selling contain his image. His computer was searched forensically, I am positive if that photo had ever been on any of his accounts or hardware, LE would have had it.

Remember Cindy in the FBI waving the photo of Ricardo’s apartment knowing full well it was not “Zenaidas”.

Lastly, if there were a millichance Morales sold those photos, do we not think the defense would have subpoena’d them themselves? Baez would have filed a civil suit for their unauthorized use before getting out of bed.

They are of his Clients child and her child. They would be the rightful owners and any publication of their likeness.
    B

  37. Thinker says:

Is it possible that the Anthonys (or their agent who was handling their MySpace at that time – M Bart) copied the cropped photo of Caylee in the Big Trouble shirt from the GLOBE Oct 20 2008 issue, and photoshopped it to use on their MySpace page, then this photo was borrowed from the Anthony’s MySpace page and used on other MySpace user pages? The bottom line is to eventually learn what LE knows about WHO sold the photo of Caylee in that shirt, to the GLOBE, before Caylee’s remains were found with that shirt?

    My post again:

    Hi Purple-

I was wondering why you refused to post my question about which blog irked you?

It was respectful and unassuming, and in response to a statement you made. Surely you did not create this blog to control it’s content?

    Best Regards,

    #386 Blink –
VERY good evidence to conclude that Ricardo did NOT sell that particular photo to the GLOBE – which I was not aware of. I did not know about Ricardo’s computer being thoroughly searched, and that photo not found. It is certainly true that we would have seen it in Discovery released, if LE had found it.

I do agree that KC’s defense would be having a fit, and suing someone, if someone other than their client had sold that photo to the GLOBE.

Is it your opinion Blink that Casey had the Big Trouble shirt photo, but never uploaded it to her photobucket or MySpace or anywhere that LE would have found it on her COMPUTER(s)?

Since Casey is in the photo with Caylee in the Big Trouble shirt …. WHO took the photos? Whose camera holds the original photo?

If that photo had been on the Anthony’s MySpace page, wouldn’t LE have found it and listed it in Discovery evidence?

I am of the opinion that Casey had another thumb or zip drive, or SIM that had not been turned over to LE.

    Blink,
Will there be a document dump soon?

I think they are focused on hammering out a plea in the fraud trial, and then an immunity deal for Dom Casey, depending on how those go will determine what comes out next, imo.

ok—Finally the mystery of what was found on July 3rd!!!!!!!! Plus her leaving the gate open and the ladder up. I have been asking and writing but no answer on this until today. I am so glad I had a chance to read here today. Agreeing with Tallyho above, Blink are you saying that she did this as a “message” from Zanny on the kidnap story. Casey had that planned. Thank you for the info, it has made my day because I have been wondering for months—thought maybe Caylee’s shoes?

I think maybe Casey used the neighbors shovel with the intentions of burying Caylee and the other items. After digging a small patch ,I think she realized how hard it was and put the doll clothes under the pavers ,put Caylee back in the trunk ,cleaned off the shovel in the pool and went out the side gate to return the shovel , went back in the house through the garage , copied her hard drive to laptop and took off down the road in a hurry – forgetting all about the pool ladder and side gate.I think she set the laundry bag down in the places that the cadaver dogs hit.Just my oppinion of course , but I can see Casey scrambling around as she did not have her plan thought out to the end.

chica dear friend it is the same kind of person who steals from her dear ole grandpapa and dances the night away at the booty lounge while her child has been kidnapped, if you are not doing that in your own life you will never get it…thank goodness!
