Orlando Sentinel Posts Strickland’s decision -
(After listening to two attorneys bicker about access to records earlier today, Orange County Circuit Court Judge Stan Strickland this afternoon ordered Casey Anthony’s defense team to look at records that have been available to them for seven months.
Strickland today denied a request by the defense for all records from Texas EquuSearch, a volunteer group whose members looked for missing Caylee Marie Anthony in 2008.
However, Strickland ordered the defense go through records of 32 searchers, records that have been available since late August in a local attorney’s office.
If the defense needs access to more records, it is free to request those, Strickland said in a three-page ruling.)
Now if Strickland would just physically slap Baez, I’d be good for a month. LOL
UPDATE: Judge Stan Strickland denied a motion by the defense to release search records in the Casey Anthony investigation on Monday.
Here’s a grand teaser for ya’ Suep! The letters will, according to one source, be released tomorrow (ok, so it’s NG and sidekick Jane, will leave it at that), but have to leave you hanging here, can’t give details!!! (well if I could I would because I don’t have to protect any sources ’cause I don’t have any that everyone else doesn’t have
Oh, I’m wrong, there will be some details available already, like ’50′ letters, 250+ pages etc.
Of course, Jane V could be talking through her hat on the ‘letters public tomorrow’ idea, so far, they have not been filed with the OC clerk.
But costs for Casey M. Anthony does add up: Would this amount have been held until the state would have to pay? (redundant question– seems likely)

According to Fox News ..letters will probably be released today.
And, as if we haven’t already guessed, will paint GA and CA in a very bad light. I’m thinking we’re going to hear about GA’s and CA’s philandering ways, what horrible parents they were to Casey, etc, etc.
I’m not expecting much from these letters. Their existance didn’t seem to ruffle anyone’s feathers so it’s likely all about the food. Or Blink’s idea may be right ~ that it was all put in place by the Defense. With so many of us paying such close attention it makes it tough for them to pull anything sneaky off, though. Ha ha ha . . .
What tickles my fancy is… Jose hates that fact Bloggers exists.

“Officials said the contents of the letters do not contain a confession, but a report on WESH.com shows the letters exchanged with the inmate include negative comments about her parents, George and Cindy Anthony.”
Casey couldn’t even turn and acknowledge her parents in court yesterday. Cindy leaned forward and hopeful from her seat– it never happened.
Whatever ‘sources’ Blink has, she was right on the money on predicting this one.
Now what does she say about Buchanan + Dominic Casey + the ‘phantom’ searchers on that original TES form, all listed as proof a search was done by these what, 9 (or whatever number) extra people?
Was the TES paperwork that Baez has, a fabrication of evidence? Who really IS Laura Buchanan?
Hiedi, I know. I’m actually quite proud of the fact that Baez hates us. I wouldn’t want to be the type of person he liked!!!!!!
If there is fabrication of a TES document, a TES search on a TES original form, added names and activities by a so-called searcher who called herself ‘Laura Buchanan’, a call from Buchanan to bring Joe Jordan into the fold, play him into a scenario of ‘proof’, etc etc., whose call is this? This seems to be across state lines, manipulating proof in a ‘kidnapping’ scenario, sounds serious to me.
What is the actual Anthony role in all of this? Do they really know how deep this thing goes and that it might bring serious consequences to themselves?
This is more of a story for future media and book deals, than Casey Anthony and her story. And all the while, Caylee is completely lost in the mix, only referred to as remains, or a ‘body’ in the woods in the hearing. (completely depersonalized her, Baez did)
I want to smack the white off her teeth when she calls her “Cay”. This girl is seriously disturbed.

Ok, doesn’t take much of a wade into that, to see the purpose behind Casey telling her story– these letters are her public conduit to set the stage and make others believe what she wants them to believe. No wonder the defense didn’t object! What could be better, finally she ‘talks’ about the abuse, sexual, mental, physical– and it’s just page 8.
Here’s the ‘movie’ script folks.
Lee’s deposition with Morgan and Morgan quote

Looks like he’s opened Pandora’s Box and under oath.
Ok, so she has said she was sexually abused by Lee, and possibly her father. She admitted to chloroforming Caylee, that Cindy brought it home. WOW!!!
And the typical jailhouse, I found God and he found me and we’re bestest friends bull. And Her “sista” Robyn and Casey are gonna get an RV and be travelling Photographers, writing books, and watching movies, and Casey will be Robyn’s kids “Auntie”. Holy crap, this is a boatload of bull.
I’m sure Casey will ride in an “RV” all the way to the chamber for her appointment with a needle. I don’t believe in the death penalty, but it’s like she’s screaming for it. Baez is an idiot to let these be released, and the bus has it’s front wheels on Cindy, and the back wheels have already bumped right over George and Lee.
What a POS Casey is, any glimmer of doubt I had about her is erased in these letters. I could barely get thru them. I’m stunned, stunned.
OK, so Casey chloroformed Caylee because she had trouble falling asleep?? That surely is an “aggravating” circumstance that keeps the old DP on the table!
And first Zenaida doesn’t exist, then she is her friend of 4 years (Kristina??) and there are at lesat 4 scenarios of how Caylee as abducted?? Is she still trying to see which lie sounds best??
And she has thrown Cindy, Lee and George so far under the bus that they are caught up in the wheels of the bus!
How Baez doesn’t think that these letters aren’t going to convince a jury of her guilt is BEYOND me!! This defense is sinking faster than the Titanic.
They were idiots not to go with an insanity defense …but again – they’re hoping for “reasonable doubt” in one juror. Only thing is that Baez stated IN COURT that that would mean acquittal. (Is he really that dumb??)
I think it was hysterical that neither the Judge, Nejame or Drane-Burdick bothered to correct him: one juror voting not guilty only means mistrial with retrial …hopefuly with a public defender.
Casey, her family and her defense attorneys give a really new bad connotation to the term bottom feeders.
I wonder what Cindy, George – and especially Lee are thinking tonight?? I hope it’s “Jump ship, and tell the truth” before they go down with Casey …and all the way!
I just HAVE to comment. I was always saying that the family is hiding a bigger secret, incest. What do you know, Casey is now admitting (again) that Lee and George sexually molested her…….I know they say they ruled out Lee being the father of Caylee (hence the name Cay-Lee?), but I still think something is FISHY here. NOT SAYING it is ANY EXCUSE or anything, I just think there is more to the story, and that may be why the family all participated in obstructing justice, to STOP Casey from divulging the family secret. It also explains why they Coddle Casey so much and why she is so messed up. Thanks!!
I think that these letters put the turn in the screw from the State. They are saying we got ya Muffin.
Mason and Lyon are the two that didn’t object to this..Baez is along for the ride about now. This is very damaging and it gives Lyon and
Mason the leg to stand on to confront her and say now we plea.
All along her team has been feeding her it isn’t if you get out..it is when..she bought everything they have said lock stock and barrel.
The State has much more evidence then we have seen and they know they are dealing with a family, an imate and a legal team that loves the press..thinks of themselves as celebraties and is raking in the cash.

To Casey deciding on a plea is like pulling the peddles off a daisy, “they love me, they love me not, they love me, they love me not” = “Life in Prison, or Death Row… Life in Prison, or Death Row”.

So Casey would give 5 minutes to have ‘Cays’ back? That’s it? Biznitch, no grieving mother would ever be satisfied with just 5 minutes. Nice try.
She goes on to say that Caylee is better off where she is. She’s safe and in God’s hands. She’s content that Caylee will never have her heart broken or be exposed to the constant negativity that society breeds (for example, bad mothers), NOR will she be abused or taken advantaged of. Interesting choice of words. IS SHE FOR REAL?????? This is not a grieving mother. This is a woman validating her actions. And the preaching of God’s word? Is that supposed to create the disillusion that she’s spiritual, therefore, not guility? “The clock is ticking and the end of days is near, I can feel it”. Just like she could feel the Caylee was close to home????????? She even believes she’s getting out and calls herself a warrior.
Casey KNEW these letters would come out. Most of it is contrived and full of lies….but grains of truth pop up that damn her case.
Yes Casey, God does know the intentions of our hearts. You can’t fight your way out of that one.
We’ll keep the lights on in this thread, Blink. This business of yesterday is like a flood that brings in a wealth of beach picking goodies, there’s just so much. As this subsides, a clear picture of the person that is Casey will be revealed. But don’t we have to remember that what ‘Casey’ we see is what Casey wants her ‘audience’ to see and know– she is creating a pseudo-reality like a con man does. She creates the pictures of herself and everything around her to the other con, who tells Casey back, what she needs to tell her back, to keep Casey on the line.
Who is the fish, and who is the fisher, and who holds the net? What you see may not be in the end, what you get.
She’s playing a game of war, she’s the intelligence officer, she who controls the information, wins the war!
The Jose pipeline to his client’s family, and from his client’s family, gives Casey an edge on how to set up her information, what to put out there as ‘truth’ because it’s all done in secret, hush hush, “flush flush”. So that proves Casey didn’t want any of this to get out– Right!!!
But there are little reveals in those letters, can only imagine how telling this whole picture is, to an expert in the field.
One that stands out, is probably Casey telling it as she ‘feels’ it, when she tells Robyn, ‘I am excited for you’ about your court date in the next days. Casey ‘is excited’ about court, thinks it’s ‘exciting’ and that Robyn would also be ‘excited’. Hand-rubbing, get looking pretty, try to get sleep, ‘exciting’.
Casey’s situation might have a lot of pay for Casey, in her excitement– she’s ‘feeling’ something, and she’s in control, as long as she holds it together, and she’s doing well.
She’s ‘USING’ religion to spew her messages, create the reality about herself for others. She goes from talking about God, to quoting scriptures, to helping youth in today’s society, to slipping into a personifying what she calls ‘god’ from the ‘Father’ to speaking of ‘our Daddy’ to Robyn, and her own ‘Daddy’. And talking about her lawyer as a father-figure, etc.
Plus the sexual abuse accusations against her father. Casey paints a picture of an abused child growing up and SOOOO needing her dad to be a dad. (where did we hear that before?) She only needed a father’s guidance, good parenting, now her Daddy is God.
She wants her celebrity driven public to believe what she wants ‘us’ to believe. Imagine the thrill ride for someone who can actually control her whole world. If it doesn’t fit to her liking, she makes it to her liking.
So what if she has to live in a bunker, she’s pushing the buttons and there’s the thrill.
It gets better…..and this is verbatim….

Any discussion about Caylee in these letters are brief and lack any kind of real emotion. Her topics change from one subject to another. It’s almost difficult to follow her thought process. She can’t stay on topic.
She has most certainly been told she’s getting out. She intends to write a book, buy a bomber jacket and work the rock girl that she is. She is fixin for a life of freedom OH….and adopting homeless children. GOD FORBID!!!!!!!
There’s one more little ‘tell’ in there, where she tells Robyn that one thing she does not react well to, is being told what to do, and likes less, being repremanded. (paraphrasing)
Parents and authorities, do both. And lawyers. She’s had her lawyers come to her on bended knee, treating her with kid gloves, but at some time, her lawyer, some lawyer other than Jeff Ashton, is going to have to face Casey with some sort of authority.
Blink, changing topic a bit, but there seems to be a lot of tidbits we’ve heard before– long before now. How’s that possible without leaks from Casey herself or via her pipelines, lawyers??
Long time ago, we heard about ‘moving trial to Miami’ and Casey thinking ‘sand and sun’– yep, want the trial in Miami. Now we see that comment in the letters.
There’s several of these, at quick glance. How did Casey get word out about the beaches idea? Was there a much earlier leak? Who did they work with?
It’s not Casey’s ‘facts’ in her letters that we need to pay attention to, whether to believe or not believe. It’s how she operates, how she takes little tidbits of something and uses it in her fabrications.
The ‘God the Father’ has become ‘our Daddy upstairs’, ‘my Daddy’. Why would someone be so casual and disrespectful of a God, why slip into this disrespect for what believers would take as an ultimate ‘AUTHORITY’. (well, that’s a self-answering question)
But the word ‘Daddy’– guess where she saw that???? Marinade Dave has a picture that shows where Casey has seen ‘Daddy’ in a tattoo, on one of her jail buddies, Maya Derkovic. Maya, MD writes is ” now 21, was convicted of murdering a 15-year-old girl, Harriet “Jackie” Curtis, in February of 2008.”

I have read all the letters posted and found nothing written to Robyn about Chloroform or the black garbage bags that Caylee was found inside. Apparently this is just a verbal statement from Robyn regarding her jailhouse discussions with KC, which were then reported by Melich in an investigative summary. This discussion is just Robyn’s word vs Casey’s word and Robyn clearly stated in her letter to Tracy she has a motive (shorten her sentence). None of this has credibility and should not be brought up at trial. Melich is discrediting himself. If this goes to trial it will end in mistrial.
I am not a KC supporter but I disagree with all the reports. She mentions Caylee (Cays) plenty in a light hearted manner. When I read the letters I just see a girl in denial, dreaming of freedom (and food), hiding behind GOD (or should I say “Daddy” – weird) and believing her own lies. She clearly has parental issues and hasn’t even come close to hitting adult maturity (mentally). She writes like she is a 14 year old little girl. She needs a lot of Psychological help before she adopts that new baby (WTF).
As for the molestations – no way I believe it happened. I see why the defense was cool with releasing the letters. It makes her attorneys look like her hereos (her “boys”) and settles any talk of sexual tendencies between KC & Baez as KC refers to him as 2nd father.
This looks like a pre-scripted defense ploy to me. They even come up with a reason she waited 31 days before reporting Caylee missing (well, we all know KC NEVER reported her daughter missing). I can’t wait to read the expert Psychologists diagnosis / reviews of her letters – that will be more valuable in my opinion.

Very short and sweet and accurate.
And what a fool Casey was..she is locked up with liars, theives, druggies..and thinks she can con them. She was a small fish in a
very small pond. Wait till she meets the laides in the State Pen.
Why do I think that somehow she will survive and thrive in that experience..even if it is the rest of her life.
Not to mention all of the racist comments she makes about the other inmates….holy cow they will have a field day with her one day.
I don’t believe for one second that Lee or George molested her. This was said to Jesse years ago as a way of saying, “hey, look at me….I’m so hot my own brother wants to have sex with me.”

Interesting the ‘Daddy’ tattoo, it’s meaning personal to Maya of course, but Casey would have seen that and although it has no connection to Casey’s meaning, Casey starts calling God, “Daddy”. Some discussion later, I’ve learned that some people (I’m not in that loop, maybe it’s a southern religion thing) refer to God with that term, but the tattoo word probably helped Casey pick up the word ‘Daddy’ for a fun term for her God. Maybe maybe not, but she does pick up clues from places and uses them for her own stories. Maybe it’s a common term to refer to God, maybe Chaplain Gonzalez uses it too!
(imaginary chaplains now, Casey setting up her defenses plural, covering all Casey concocted bases?)
Daddy communicates with Casey by affirming or denying Casey’s thoughts by making her sneeze at the right time.
Casey is conning, she’s taking the initiative to ‘control’ her world and what she wants everyone to know AND believe, regardless of her legal advice to speak to NO ONE.
It’s the same planning to control her world before Caylee’s death, Caylee would take away her ability to control what people knew and believed as she gained her own voice to speak.
Remember Casey said to parents in the jail videos (Aug 14th comes to mind) that she’s completely out of the loop, she can’t do anything from where she’s at, she can’t control anything. The letters might have provided Casey with a way to take control, keep setting up the belief system for everyone. She was confident that this works for her and that she would never tolerate reprimand for any actions– no one would dare not believe her and if they did, they became enemies. Baez could have bitten off more than he could chew with Casey.
Maya’s “Daddy” tattoo is not for “God”/”Daddy” … it is for her “pimp Daddy” days as a prosititute.
Some Christians use the term “Daddy” for God in reference to being our Father/Daddy that we go to as a child goes to their Daddy/Father.

Thinker, my point is that Casey sees things, or hears things, reads things, and then uses it in her ‘stories’.
That’s all. Not saying that Maya’s tattoo meaning has anything to do with Casey’s ‘meaning’. Just information that Casey takes in, and uses in her own little way.

I am familiar with some Christian folk using the term “Daddy” for God our Father, meaning no disrespect for God. This is not a new thing in some Christian circles. And since Casey wrote in her letters that she had received several Bible classes and had been having talks with Chaplain Gonzalez, and that Robyn had requested to be moved to the “Christian dorm” …. I thought Casey probably acquired that terminology in that way, adopting that kind of “speak” from the Christian influences around her in jail. Casey may have received letters from Robyn wherein Robyn referred to God as “Daddy”? I just saw no link to Casey seeing Maya’s neck tattoo that says “Daddy P” and Casey referring to God as “Daddy”.
I am mostly a lurker around here but I have to share something. I just stumbled upon an interview Cindy did with FOX NEWS anchor Megan Kelly just after Casey’s first arrest. Unlike many of the many of the “softball” type interviews done early on, Megan really put Cindy in her place. Enjoy!

Just listened to those calls that Robin made….first thing I noticed one of them calls the other Muffin….how did Casey sign one of her notes to Robin aka Cookie….Love, Muffin.
Also on the second call, between Robin and her dad it’s apparent that Robin is big into her faith. So it makes perfect sense as to why Casey was so into the scripture.
One more thing I noticed…Robin’s dad send Maya a X-Mas package. So apparently Robin and Maya were close too.
Is there anything about Casey that is not a part of someone elses story? She just sucks the life right out of everyone around her nothing about her is real.
You are right Sal. Casey 101, she changes her personality to fit in with her friends and/or her surroundings at the drop of a hat. This is why she needs the death penalty. She will adapt to life in prison and thrive. She needs to spend everyday waiting for her life to end. I guess I should add once she’s found guilty by a jury of her peers of course
